Sign of the times.. as the day approaches they are more ruthless.. anything to cast doubt and make way for unbelief..

You can't have the Father without the Son or the Son without the Father.. GOD is Good always and tough times call for tough measures.. but GOD is above us all and when mankind realises they are evil and need to Repent and Believe the better.

To say such a thing would mean you believe in a different Jesus and not the Son of the Most High GOD of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob.

Now you say He is part of the Roman Catholic Church? Well.. that is not surprising.. false worship being passed as Good.. so blatant... but even this will be subdued and exposed.. the unity is a big give away.. those who unite expose themselves.

I talked to my ex-husband tonight since the first time since May of 2012. He said he was Catholic now and believes the old testament was nothing but made up stories to help us. I told Bob I will school him because if you do not believe the Old Testament then you do not know the first thing about Atonement or Y-shua. He quickly had to go, for real, even though he spent an hour before talking about old times. Why do people not like the Old Testament? It’s 66 Books... Why do people deny all 66 Books are the inerrant, infallible Word of G-d?
I wouldn’t say that most people (by which I mean Christians) would deny that all 66 books are inerrant or the infallible word of God.

The issue is that firstly the NT is a lot easier to read and possibly understand, God of love and forgiveness and reconciliation and grace.

Yet when we read parts of the OT it can seem to be the opposite.

A vengeful God, ethnic cleanser, angry schisto God.

Thats what atheists quote when they are hell bent on bringing down Christianity.

They are not seeking God but doing everything they can do bring him down.
Yet what I find interesting is that they bang on about a God who doesn’t exist.
If he doesn’t exist then you have nothing to disprove.

We all know Santa doesn’t exist yet we don’t seek to disprove him.

I have to say that I think atheists and some Christians who read the OT only see the words in the OT and not the context and culture at the time.

There is actually grace in the OT where it seems not.

God said when you go into the promised land you are wipe it. Men, women and kids.

Most people don’t realise that the promised land was actually promised to Abraham approx 400 years earlier.
Yet it would only happen when the sins of people in the promised land were so bad that God said “Enough”

The sin of the Cannanites and Amorites were shocking.
They sacrifice babies to Molech, indulged is perverse sexual paractices.

That was detestable to God.

So wipe out the kids?

To me those kids are in heaven. They would not have grown up doing the same thing, worshipping false Gods and sacrificing their own kids.

Also to me further grace, the Israelites would have been ready for war. If that’s the case then those in that land would have known why.

We find the 10 commandments given. Reason being is that God is saying everything that is wrong with the land I’m gonna give you I don’t want you to do. This is my standard and I want you to walk in it.

Further grace for me Anyway.

Adam and Eve sin.
They hide.
God Still calls out him.
Adam where are you?

He seeks him out.

God knew what has happened yet seeks after Adam.

Thats the second act of grace.
The third is that he clothes them.

The first is Jesus.

Christians should absolutely be versed in the O/T. There are wisdom books, Psalms, Isaiah and
many others which speak the coming of Christ. Where the difference comes is all the old laws
as Paul writes:

Proper Use of freedom:
Gal.5:13 f.f.
Life by the Spirit
[SUP]13 [/SUP]You, my brothers and sisters, were called to be free. But do not use your freedom to indulge the flesh[SUP][[/SUP][SUP]a[/SUP][SUP]][/SUP]; rather, serve one another humbly in love. [SUP]14 [/SUP]For the entire law is fulfilled in keeping this one command: “Love your neighbor as yourself.”[SUP][[/SUP][SUP]b[/SUP][SUP]][/SUP] [SUP]15 [/SUP]If you bite and devour each other, watch out or you will be destroyed by each other.

Love Fulfills the Law
[SUP]8 [/SUP]Let no debt remain outstanding, except the continuing debt to love one another, for whoever loves others has fulfilled the law. [SUP]9 [/SUP]The commandments, “You shall not commit adultery,” “You shall not murder,” “You shall not steal,” “You shall not covet,”[SUP][[/SUP][SUP]a[/SUP][SUP]][/SUP] and whatever other command there may be, are summed up in this one command: “Love your neighbor as yourself.”[SUP][[/SUP][SUP]b[/SUP][SUP]][/SUP] [SUP]10 [/SUP]Love does no harm to a neighbor. Therefore love is the fulfillment of the law.
Romans 13

Galatians 3:24New International Version (NIV)
[SUP]24 [/SUP]So the law was our guardian until Christ came that we might be justified by faith.

Galatians 3:24New International Version (NIV)
[SUP]24 [/SUP]So the law was our guardian until Christ came that we might be justified by faith.

It is because most churches do not teach the Bible, they teach from the Bible. In other words, they use the Bible to prove thier own point instead of proving God's point.

Two gospel that are killing Christian faith today, we need to be careful of:

1. The love Gospel
2. The Prosperity Gospel

Too much causes an imbalance. The Old Testament teachers us the Fear of God while the New Testament teachers us the Love of Christ. As Christians we should read the Full Gospel for a balance walk
As the scriptures states:
1 Corinthians 13:13

13 And now abideth faith, hope, charity, these three; but the greatest of these is charity

But

Philippians 2:12

12 Wherefore, my beloved, as ye have always obeyed, not as in my presence only, but now much more in my absence, work out your own salvation with fear and trembling.

I believe the true character of Father was hidden from man until Jesus came and His life declared Him. I also believe the reason why was the Holiness of God would destroy sinful flesh, so He had to remain hidden until intercession was accomplished through Jesus. There was actually darkness veiling the presence of Father in the OT.
