The real question you should ask is, "During the Tribulation, can one believe in Jesus, say in year 1, but take the mark in the future, say year 3, because he is rich and wants to buy and sell stuff?"

If the answer is yes, will he be saved? Does salvation during the tribulation become faith + works?

I have discussed this before here https://christianchat.com/bible-dis...-is-it-still-faith-only-for-salvation.185801/
There' only one thing that sends a man to eternal punishment - rejecting the saving grace of Jesus Christ... That's it, nothing else.

So, say there is one who accepts that Christ died for their sins and rose again 1 Cor 15:1-4 in the beginning of the tribulation, year 1.

If he takes the mark in a future time period, he will lose his salvation because of the mark or because of something else?

And your right it does represent the Word of God which is the word of God.
The Word of God is the testimony of Jesus (the entire Bible) and the word of God is the testimony of Jesus Christ (the Gospel of John and Revelation)

Rev 19:13 (KJV) And he was clothed with a vesture dipped in blood: and his name is called The Word of God.

So regardless on whether one takes the mark or not, the one who believes in Jesus will be saved in the end? Even if he decides to take the mark of the beast because he wants to participate in the economic system during the final 3 years?

Before I go any further, do you believe a person can lose his salvation?

I believe the thread title question is moot. Why? Well, because you cannot simply use Revelation 14:9 to answer the question. All relevant scripture must be considered.

I believe "the mark alone" is highly improbable at best.

If you are going to play games with the word 'and' - does that mean that - in Revelation 13:16 - those who were killed (verse 15) also received the mark?

My friend (@KJV1611) - you are not properly understanding the 'grammar of the language' - which does not allow for "the mark alone"...

What makes ”and” different in those verses?

Yes, during the Tribulation, Paul's gospel of grace no longer applies because the age of grace is over.

Israel will be preached the gospel of the kingdom once again, which is faith and works (James 2)

And if you read the doctrine for that time, which is Hebrews to Revelations, there are plenty of warnings on why taking the mark of the beast is considered an unforgivable sin, the clearest being Rev 14:9-11

Is the mark figurative or literal. Is IN the right hand figurative or literal. Or do chose ON the right hand?
literal
literal

The word 'in' does actually mean "in"/"into" such that it is not merely "on top"...

Ok, no point in us discussing any further, we believe in two different religions.

So do you at least agree with what Rev 14:9-12 is saying?

Anyone who takes the mark at the end of Tribulation, no matter what he believed about Jesus at the beginning, is going to the Lake of fire? That is what it literally says correct?

No it doesn't say that all, have you been reading this thread? My whole point is that it takes all three to be condemned. A person who has all three IS NOT saved, they're not losing anything, they never had it to begin with.

This is another dispensationalist heresy that has spread across most of the church. The mark of the mark of the beast can only be understood by counting the number 666.
The mark isn’t a physical mark, it isn’t even a literal mark, it is a CHARACTERISTIC.

Example: What is the mark of a good Christian? Well many things. Love, joy, peace, long suffering etc. All of those are marks of a true Christian.
This doesn’t make sense. It declares the mark is the name of the beast that will be administered on the hand or forehead like an identification marker. It allows you to participate in commerce. In the last 3 1/2 years, when the beast takes the throne, and declares himself god, anyone without it will be executed. The mark is the name and when calculated will be 666.

Which verse says that the mark is the name of the beast? Where does the bible even say its a literal mark. I can say "mark my words" and that's not a literal "stamp or etch" on my words.

Can't you see that you added "administered"? That word is not in the verse. You've been taught that it's something that's administered but you've never read that in the bible.

can i go through Revelation and cross 'six' out every time i see it, and replace it with 'man' ?
I would offer. The foundation of the doctrine is found in the first book not the last.

In order to understand the signified tongue of God in Revelation everything else must be in place so that we can do the required work and compare the spiritual understanding to the same (faith to faith.

Six is the number that God has assigned to represent natural unconverted mankind .No seal of God's word

Yes you can replace 6 with with mankind. Its the number of that beast of the field. Other beast where made them male and female . the mark pertains to mankind And not other beasts of the the lifeless spiritless field of clay

The mark is the mark of his word or letter of the law . Mankind #6 are the only creature subject to the law of or mark of God word . . . law

It is not a sign as a wonder that someone would have to prepare themselves. The last sign as a wonder was that of Jonas fulfilled by Jesus. Jesus said its a evil generation #6 that does search after one

Its not something a person could to hide with clothing or a pair of gloves so they could eat or buy something. The buying and selling as to do with spiritual matters like the gospel .We are to buy it and not sell it..

Sounds like Hollywood drama stuff.

Genesis 4:15 And the Lord said unto him, Therefore whosoever slayeth Cain, vengeance shall be taken on him sevenfold. And the Lord set a mark upon Cain, lest any finding him should kill him.

You could say the mark is the goal of the promise of God. You shall surely die!

Cain You shall surely surfer the wage of sin with no support from God or his people.(no assisted suicided) Mark his word

And Cain said unto the Lord, My punishment is greater than I can bear. Behold, thou hast driven me out this day from the face of the earth; and from thy face shall I be hid; and I shall be a fugitive and a vagabond in the earth; and it shall come to pass, that every one that findeth me shall slay me. Genesis 4: 13-14

He did not like as if he had input into the matter God choice of sufferings the pangs of the increased load, his entire life with no sabbath rest like His brother received from the gospel .

Exactly the mark of his word, the letter of his law as it is written the seal of God's approval. The goal of our new faith our new bodies .

1 Samuel 20:19-21 King James Version (KJV) And when thou hast stayed three days, then thou shalt go down quickly, and come to the place where thou didst hide thyself when the business was in hand, and shalt remain by the stone Ezel. And I will shoot three arrows on the side thereof, as though I shot at a mark. And, behold, I will send a lad, saying, Go, find out the arrows. If I expressly say unto the lad, Behold, the arrows are on this side of thee, take them; then come thou: for there is peace to thee, and no hurt; as the Lord liveth.
