If you go to the grace vs works (and the "cousin" endless confusion of " election vs freewill") threads there is error on both sides.

Both camps struggle over salvation, and "predestination"

The word of God is not going to change for either camp.
Why would a true believer struggle with understanding "Christ on the Cross as forgiveness of sin, that is the only reason God accepts you and lets you into heaven"?

Its because the cult's do not teach this simplicity of Christ. They teach around it, and try to replace it with commandments and works and enduring and mary and any type of self effort they can get you involved in that keeps you from simply trusting that Christ is Salvation, and if you have Him in you, you are going to heaven.

Actually i take the dynamic of being a disciple a little further.
God is a jeolous God.

He wants 100%.

He wants a singleness of heart.

He laid out the death of the believer.

I do not know of any ministry except David Hogan that embraces it seriously.

But the NT does just that.
The death as a starting place. The walk as Paul put it...picking up my cross daily.

Without that component....we have what we see now.

That's Discipleship, you're talking about.
That is the "present your body a living sacrifice', total dedication to God and Christ.
And you perfect that discipleship by developing real faith that brings you this...>"Christ always gives me the Victory".
