You said a prophet just says the words of God when prior to that, you continually say you are just saying the words of God but people won't accept it.

You find ways to say the things you want to say without saying the things you want to say. It's called passive-aggressiveness. But you're so subtle and practiced with it that some who have absolutely no guile don't even see it.

This remark is not only childish but indicates a lack of willingness to believe and obey the Word of God.

"Did you all learn us" would be fine if it was just people talking to people and opinions being traded back and forth. But when Scripture is share AND REJECTED OUT OF HAND, then it is clear that some Christians would rather rebel than obey. And obedience is better than sacrifice, but rebellion is as witchcraft.

The issue is not a matter of "interpretation". There is nothing to interpret when the words of Scripture are plain and clear. But that is used as an excuse to avoid certain teachings. Let each one know that we will give account for rejecting the words of God, either in this matter or in any other matter.

And then here, another high-sounding instrument tells another hand or foot that it is unwilling to believe and obey God because it questions the high-sounding instruments wisdom and interpretation.

I understand what you are saying, and I will admit myself many times saying "wow that person has mental health issues" however, I just worry about the stigma of mental health that is perpetuated in our society.

Those of us (including me) who have managed well in life can find it way too easy (including me) to look down upon those who have not had it so easy. It is time we remove the stigma.

I was taught in counseling, to recognize the signs of mental illness, for the purpose of referral. I fact, I was very concerned for James37’s mental health from the first time he posted. I tried to talk nicely and point out some indicators than concerned me. Lacking insight, he ignored me. Which is his right, of course! Someone in real life will just have to deal with him, sooner rather than later.

Besides, in no place did I make a diagnosis, simply because I had no way of knowing, given other factors what it was. All I ever posted were possible symptoms he was displaying, as I am pretty sure most everyone picked up on, eventually.

So no, I did not diagnose. I can think of 3 different diagnoses he could have had, with no way of checking, even if I had any certification. I think diagnosing by internet is also frowned upon with professionals. But, as for a general umbrella term - mentally ill, that is not a diagnosis, just a catch all phrase which could have included some of the symptoms he was exhibiting.

That was the garden several years ago. I really do love purple, but I love eating even more, so most of the garden now is herbs and food producing plants. (And of course plants that entice bees to come and pollinate for us. And... well, I like butterflies and hummingbirds too, so some flowers.)

This justifies your false accusations and calling James37 a liar? I read the entire thread and googled everything he posted. No evidence whatsoever to substantiate your claim. Your mental assessment has nothing to do with the question of whether he was copying or pasting from the web. Those were just insults that you were mixing in with the false accusations you were making. Did you give him the same respect that you demanded of me concerning your research? It is hypocrisy.

"respect thy elders" it's simple if you disagree with the elderly here fine but you may want to factor in that some are say "in pain" or "have some degree of mental problems" or are "set in their ways" yelling at bricks walls gets you no where you know,where as "conversing" with "understanding" and a "clear mind" is much more "fruitful" all the way around,sure the elderly may "get on your nerves" at times but well that's part of life and it's wise to know which "battles" to pursue because not always are words of the elderly "intentional" and it may end up "pointless" confronting such a person.
