I know perfectly well what you meant and it is insulting. Grow up or be gone.
You obviously don't know what I meant and you don't know what a dictionary meaning of the word is nor do you know after I explained with the reason included in the comment. You obviously have a personal combative agenda.

what is obvious to you, is not even a blip on the radar of most folks

what is actually obvious to the rest of us, is your bloviated posturing and false assertions

you actually know yourself pretty well...trouble is that you say it is everyone else

You can't prove something by using faulty logic. Using the argument from silence is a fallacy and I proved to you how it fails. Are you a clown with a red nose? No, you are not. Then why do you insist on using that form of argumentation with the Bible?

lovely twist on what you originally said

thing is, we can all read where you actually called him a red nosed clown

here again, is the post the way it really was:

ok...I will show you one...there are others...but the one I am showing, is the one that really was low and what generated my post about how you think it is ok to call other believers names

here it is: post 493 this thread

I left WOF because it's a group of people acting stupid, just like you challenging me here with your stupid argument from silence. How about you show me a Bible verse that says you aren't a clown with a red nose? Why won't you give me scripture verse? Because you are a clown with a red nose.

I don't need to post every one, because you know very well what you do

EW Kenyon, the grandfather of WOF, admitted his teachings originated from Christian Science and Mary Baker Eddy. He mixed it with Pentecostalism. WOF is a Pentecostal Christian Science.

You obviously are not a good reader. I am not calling him a name. I am demonstrating his faulty logic from silence that just because the Bible does not have a verse expressly denying something (i.e. you are NOT a clown with a red nose) then it proves that very something exists (i.e. therefore, you ARE a clown with a red nose). WOF people do it all the time. They think that since the Bible has no verse saying X is false therefore X is true.
I think we should get some facts straight, which you sir, continue to ignore.
You ignored my post showing Jesus used faith to do EVERY miracle, which you demanded I answer because you were so confident you had something against my understanding of faith, of which I did, with quotes from scripture, of which you claim I twisted.
And BECAUSE you ignored THAT post, I wrote another post to goad you into responding, only for you to ignore the faith post and carry on about the silence post, as though that was my whole argument.
Have you ever played dodge ball when you were little?
Well, you're doing the grownup version of that game now.
What happened to your side of the argument showing Jesus doing miracles without faith?
Show me scripture please.
The thread is about faith, so let's discuss the subject with scripture.
And for the record, you can't pervert scripture if you are copying and pasting straight from the bible.
That does not constitute perverting of scripture, nor does it suffice as a legitimate argument.
Jesus killing the fig tree was an act of faith because Jesus said,

Mat 21:21 Jesus answered and said unto them, Verily I say unto you, If ye have faith, and doubt not, ye shall not only do this which is done to the fig tree, but also if ye shall say unto this mountain, Be thou removed, and be thou cast into the sea; it shall be done.

If Jesus said it takes faith for us to do the same to the fig tree as He had done, why would it be any different for Him?
His faith killed the tree, and He was saying we could do the same with the same kind of faith, for there is only one kind of faith.
You can do one of a few things.
You can either show me another verse proving Jesus didn't use faith to do miracles, or you could try to prove me wrong on this one, or you could just admit you don't know what faith is or how it works.

I ask again, what does that have to do with what is written?

Do you follow people because they are famous or do you follow Jesus because of what is written?
I ask because you keep mentioning people, as though it matters.

Because if that was what Jesus meant then why don't we ever read about the Apostles killing fig trees and throwing mountians into the Mediterranean Sea?

Then you sir, do not believe what is written, because Jesus Himself said, "YOU shall not only do that which was done to THIS FIG TREE..."
I don't care if no one ever did it before in the history of man. If Jesus said it, THEN IT'S TRUTH, and if it is a truth, that makes it a law, forever established in heaven.
Peter walked on water for a little bit, BECAUSE Jesus said he could.
So if Jesus says I shall do what He did, then bless God, I will, BECAUSE I have faith in God.
You have built your house on the sand, mine is on the rock, therefore, you will fall again when the floods come, and I won't.
Get your eyes off what others have and have not done, because it does not always reveal the truth.
But keep His word before your eyes and in the midst of your heart.

If that is what Jesus meant then why don't we read Peter telling us about walking on water or about how the Apostles all learned walking on water? Answer: because you are not believing the truth but a delusion. Your eyes are focused on yourself rather than on Jesus and His Deity.

WHAT IS WRITTEN?
Is it truth or did Jesus lie?
Did He say we would do that, or not?
Does someone have to do a miracle first before it's okay for you to do it?
Know it or not, but there are people, as in more than one, who have walked on water, even though Peter never taught on it.
And many other miracles, like turning a steel rods, within peoples bones, to flesh and bone. As in a solid steel rod going through the joint so that they cannot bend the joint, and then suddenly, the steel is turned to bone and the person is able to bend the joint that the rod went through.
All kinds of things, but you won't believe that, because that's supernatural, and all you keep looking at is the natural.
Do you ever look at the look at individual words?
Because Jesus said WE would do the same Jesus did and greater works than that.
Do you believe what Jesus said, or not?
Is what is written the truth or not?
According to you, if Peter said it was okay, then it's okay, but since Jesus said it was, apparently it's not.
LOOK AT THE WORDS WRITTEN, and believe.

Looks like I have to.
He ignores my posts every time I tell him to look at the words.
There's something about looking at individual words that the guy has a problem with.
Books and chapter are okay, but word, not.
And if others aren't doing it or no one has done it yet, then it doesn't matter what the word of God say.
According to some, the natural takes precedence over the supernatural.
Either way, I can't have a decent discussion about faith and WOF.

What you have to discuss are all fallacious. You WOF people think you are some kind of little god rulers who have authority to be rich and work miracles. You are people of such "faith and power". Read this, it is as if Paul were addressing a WOF church:

"You think you already have everything you need. You think you are already rich. You have begun to reign in God’s kingdom without us! I wish you really were reigning already, for then we would be reigning with you. Instead, I sometimes think God has put us apostles on display, like prisoners of war at the end of a victor’s parade, condemned to die. We have become a spectacle to the entire world—to people and angels alike. Our dedication to Christ makes us look like fools, but you claim to be so wise in Christ! We are weak, but you are so powerful! You are honored, but we are ridiculed. Even now we go hungry and thirsty, and we don’t have enough clothes to keep warm. We are often beaten and have no home. We work wearily with our own hands to earn our living. We bless those who curse us. We are patient with those who abuse us. We appeal gently when evil things are said about us. Yet we are treated like the world’s garbage, like everybody’s trash—right up to the present moment."

Ok your motive is clear and the hurt and offense within you is deep. SO take it up with Ken Hagin Jr and Kenneth Copeland and stop harassing people here.

Much of the Corinthian error is the Word of Faith error. It is really an insightful study into 1 Corinthians. They were dominionists too, as I just pointed that out. Have you ever read the letter?

Actually the WOF doctrine is closer to the church of Laodicea. Yes, I have read 1 and 2 Corinthians.
