Works and love.
Love is not a feeling; it is an action of doing GOD’S will and GOOD works! Many times God refers to... Your works, or their works... and sometimes God refers to.... your love, or their love.... To explain how I get the two (works and love) into one basket I will use some verses in the Bible to show you that God’s Love is GOOD WORKS IN ACTION!
Let us first look at the talk good and DO GOOD, and just how different the two is. Matthew 21:28 to 31.
But what think ye? A certain man had two sons; and he came to the first, and said, Son, go work to day in my vineyard. He answered and said, I will not: but afterward he repented, and went. And he came to the second, and said likewise. And he answered and said, I go, sir: and went not. Whether of them twain did the will of his father?
Talk is cheap money buys the whiskey. Is that not an old saying?
Ok! God then talks about the love of many that waxed cold... and please note WHY it waxes COLD!... And because iniquity shall abound, the love of many shall wax cold. If I accept love and doing good as God’s will, and iniquity (sin) as the opposite, then COLD LOVE (lack of love) is the reason for iniquity. Love that did not wax cold would be the remedy. It looks like the more sin there is, the colder the love waxed!
One morning God gave me this.... “There is no love in sin, and there is no sin in love” I am VERY careful to always seek scripture to confirm ALL I hear about God and His will (Gospel). Whether I receive it from something I read or something I saw in a vision or dream or revelation. Everything I read here on CC I compare and measure with what God’s Word, and if it does not fit CORRECTLY (or perfectly), then it is FALSE and from Satan. All false teachers are from Satan, and there are MANY of those. They also come with a “soft on the ear” message. But they quickly wax cold when the Truth hits them in the face. Just like it hit me when I was teaching and believing the same stuff.
Then God talks about the church in Laodicea in Revelation 3: I know thy works, that thou art neither cold nor hot: I would thou wert cold or hot. So then because thou art lukewarm, and neither cold nor hot, I will spue thee out of my mouth.
God says... If only their works would have been COLD or HOT but.... NOT LUKEWARM. This is the danger in mixing love with iniquity.... it turns the love lukewarm! COLD: God can remedy cold with HIS LOVE to turn to COLD TO HOT. HOT: God’s faithful servants that kept the LOVE PURE and HOT.
LUKEWARM: The ones that mixes God’s Word with iniquity. The LOVE WAXES COLD!
I do not want to make this too long so I will end with another few truth’s from God’s Word.
God says: MANY are called FEW are chosen.
God says: Go through the NARROW GATE, MANY try FEW succeed.
Matthew 24: Take heed that no man deceive you........ And many false prophets shall rise, and shall deceive many.
1 John 3: Little children, let no man deceive you: he that doeth righteousness is righteous, even as he is righteous. (Righteous = God’s GOOD WORKS)
Matthew 24: For there shall arise false Christs, and false prophets, and shall shew great signs and wonders; insomuch that, if it were possible, they shall deceive the very elect.
Here is the TRUTH about the elect, the chosen, the HOT workers.... they are NOT deceived and CANNOT be deceived by the false Christs, false prophets and false teachers.... They KNOW the Truth, and the Truth have made them free from deceit!
What is a false Christ? It is a person that comes with the spirit of the ANTI-CHRIST.... It is a person that claims to be a child of God (Christ Jesus is the Child of God) and does not even realize he is lying! Do you think the false teachers know they teach false gospels? They are ALSO deceived by their master that keeps them in SIN! They think they have the Holy Spirit in them but they CANNOT confess with their flesh, their WORKS of RIGHTEOUSNESS, that it is the Christ Jesus Spirit in them. No, they sin and they do not stop!
May God elect you to be HOT! And I please Lord! Amen!
