No where in the Bible does it state a woman cannot be a pastor. a woman cannot be a Bishop because it does say a man. The verse so many men hide behind are in 1 Tim and Titus. Yet a Bishop is not a pastor and a Pastor is not Bishop. In fact, Timothy was not even a Pastor, he was an evangelist [See 2 Tim 4.5]
Furthermore, you have to udnerstand the context of the times, and the women converts of both Corinth and Ephesus.
This utter foolish nonsense that women cannot be pastors, evangelists, and missionaries is just silly and no where confirmed in the Bible and all you do is twist the context in 1 Tim & 1 Cor and the others passages to keep women down.
Men fell from being the high priests at home and at church and you think God may be sovereign to allow women to lead and care for his people!?!?!? Gimme a break and come to full age already and stop with the "I cannot nor will not be ever taught by a woman.
I am the high priest/spiritual authority of my home, and my Wife is a Proverbs 31 woman and I value her wisdom and opinions. she walks beside me, not behind me.
