I've heard stories in Florida that they send you a ticket in the mail. One was from a preacher, although it may have been some sort of "ice breaker". The only place I can recall is I-95 and maybe the eastern end of I-4 with the signs.

Although I'm pretty sure it says "air patrolled" in FL

i've seen the signs there on I-95, and up and down I-81 & I-85, too
i think it may have been the original intent that an helicopter with a camera could time a car going between a couple mile markers or something and calculate speed, take a picture of the plate and send a ticket. i've never heard of anyone actually being ticketed that way tho?
still i imagine when i see them, not just getting monitored and ticketed -- actually getting 'forced' to slow down by some kind of aircraft

I will admit that this imagery had not entered into my mind until now lol. It could have a little display under it to "remind you" of the proper speed

it was just that one (or two) offhand stories I heard that went along with what else you said. Myself I thought it to be a ploy, much like "property under video surveillance" when it isn't as a deterrent...because how do you know? I find that to be a very effective deterrent tbh. If I hadn't heard of a person actually being ticketed I would've have just presumed ha.

The thread title is a somewhat snarky question, but you have not unpacked the question in your post; you've only provided Scripture and quotes from early writers. What are you trying to say or ask?

I have to agree, if we have trouble believing Jesus, is the same as believing God, we stay where we are. Even Budists can do better than that. They believe that on a higher plane Budidst and Christians become One.
