Finally, GOD bless you sir.
GOD bless your zeal...but GOD also increase your love.
There is nothing offensive in loving another, sir.
And if you know the TRUTH that CHRIST saves...remind those who are confused and remember to point them to the ONE who saves...

HE saves...and HE saves completely those who come to GOD through faith in HIM and HIS "WORK"....

I know you'll find this confusing but some people actually take law seriously, and Jesus command to those under it 'to be perfect' as well. And they are right to do so. For any who think they can work their way to God by their own doing the standard is not just your best self-efforts, but God's perfect character.

Some learn from that, that they need a Savior. Others, never learn, and continue to live in the futility of their own self-efforts to save themselves.
It's not an issue of taking law seriously, but of some taking the commandments of men and making them the law of GOD. That's what the hyper-legalists have done, who are now flocking to hyper grace to escape the oppression of a perpetually defiled conscience of their own doing.

Also, it's not a matter of working to get to GOD (which hyper-legalists never did), but of obeying what is in us.

When you are trying to be God by working to save yourself through your own self-efforts, your conscience should be oppressing you. If it isn't, then your conscience has been seared as with a hot iron.

Deuteronomy 18...what is GOD'S COMMANDMENT regarding "THIS ONE"?
What is it that GOD will require of ALL MEN according to Deuteronomy 18?

What do you make of this:

All things are being brought into submission subjected to ONE?
Who is THAT ONE?

You should read 1Corinthians 15...my above paraphrase does an injustice to what is written.

Forgive me for that...but I do not feel like copying and pasting.
You should read for yourself.

This kind of worldview comes from a belief in total inability. Baked-in unbelief.

Unbelief...yes...that is what it is baked in...but not this understanding of the GRACE which has come to us IN CHRIST JESUS...but the unbelief of THIS GRACE which has come to us IN CHRIST JESUS...

Hebrews 11 might clear up this TRUTH that together with us, all the prophets who did not fully understand all that they prophecied concerning THE GLORY that would come, now know and understand that it was only by THE GLORY that they would be made "perfect" with us.

It is this generation who benefitted by HIS COMING...but, it will also be this generation who will be judged more harshly.

No, it comes from biblical truth. If man had the ability to save himself through his own self-effort, there would have been no need for Jesus to come, suffer and die for us. Your view makes a mockery of the cross.

I was hoping that you were going to get into the hours you spent watching and reading hyper grace videos and books that led you to your conclusions. Oh well, maybe next time.
believe it or not most people get their beliefs out of a book called the bible, the logos of God, the word of God, the scripture. It has many names.. Maybe you have heard of it?

Most people do not get their main belief system, or try to determin what others believe, by reading books or watching videos of men.

Adding to my post, PeterJens, (post441)...

I should have reminded you of this...
The reason HE saves completely is because HE ever and always lives to intercede for those who come to HIM through faith in HIS WORK...

That is a very important TRUTH to remember.

Therefore, sir...one doesn't have to come to you to be "examined"...they can go directly to HIM who washes.
And what HE washes (by HIS BLOOD) is made clean before (the throne of) GOD...

Because, you see, HE is BOTH the HOLY, SPOTLESS, PERFECT and ACCEPTABLE (ETERNAL) OFFERING (before the throne of GOD) as well as the HOLY, SPOTLESS, PERFECT and ACCEPTABLE (ETERNAL) PRESIDER?HIGH PRIEST (before the throne of GOD) over the OFFERING...

Imagine on judgement day. Two people stand before Christ.

Christ asks them Why should i let you in.

person 1.. Because I kept faiht in you and never wavered, I did these good works. I Obeyed your commands, I...... ( you get the point, it can be one or a variety of things a person did)

Person 2.. I have no right to be let in If you let me in, it is only because you had mercy on me a sinner. and offered me your grace based on what you did on calvary.

WHich one do you think gets in?

I've become something of a smoothie addict myself and banana/stawberry are 2 flavors that are just yummy together I think

I have a recipe book for smoothies and also the shred book by Dr Ian Smith. Add a little weights for your arms on the treadmill (unless you have to hang on) and that will work even better. Cardio with weight (don't overdo though or injuries occur) works best for weight loss and seeing improvement (ie getting ripped)

I've been a bit of an exercise obsessive most of my life. It's addictive

Smoothies can add up in calories pretty quick so if you want to loose weight also, try to keep them under 200 calories

sorry you asked? LOL~!

What can one do to tone up the arms? What do you consider "little weights"?

Lauren,
Why didn't you post this so we could ALL see it clearly? I just read it now...

I hope you don't mind my posting it?

If you are one of those people who like to examine the fruit in everyone else's life, don't be surprised if you squeeze and get some sour juice in your eye. God inspects his vineyard. You, are not a pruner nor are you equipped to fertilize anything in the garden of the Lord. Pull out your own weeds and when you are done with that, you might see clearly to help someone else. Helping though, is not condemning.~LaurenTM

well, I'm currently involving myself with some scripture from Psalms and Isaiah (music wise)

and you know, I love it because God's theme of salvation is a steady melodic flow all through the Old Testament

I can see how people come to Him with just some of these scriptures

God speaks to us in personal ways, if we want to allow Him to, and He has chosen music for the language of my heart

Look at this from Psalm 65

1Praise awaits[SUP]b[/SUP] you, our God, in Zion;to you our vows will be fulfilled.

2You who answer prayer,to you all people will come.

3When we were overwhelmed by sins, you forgave[SUP]c[/SUP] our transgressions.

4Blessed are those you chooseand bring near to live in your courts! We are filled with the good things of your house,of your holy temple.

Doesn't the NT say that God chooses? Doesn't the NT say that we are drawn and can only come to Him by His Spirit?

Why then, men and women of dust, assume to take the place of His Spirit? You touch a holy thing made by our Holy God when you attempt to tear about His salvation and bring it down to your own level of understanding

God tore the veil in the temple from the top to the bottom and He still says rend your hearts and not your garments

And He says we are a new creation; one of His making. That's beautiful. Accept it. Walk in it. He raises the dead and He can raise you up too!
