Beautiful art, but Jesus was not a white man, nor was he of tall stature, nor good looking. Isaiah 53:2. The inner qualities of Jesus were, and are beautiful, not the outer appearance that we see in most depictions of him in pictures.

Jesus looked different after His resurrection and His description in Rev. 1 is amazing!

No matter what Jesus looked like on the outside......He sure does love us! You are loved!

Psalm 103:17 New International Version (NIV)

and his righteousness with their children’s children—

You're right, so many of us struggle with love - knowing God loves us, loving God, loving others, receiving love from others, and loving ourselves in a healthy way.

So, what do we do? Just keep loving.........no matter what!

Blow the wind of Your fiery love over these dear ones who keep coming back to this place. Also capture the ones who desperately need to know Your love, Jesus. There are ones who just have never experienced it, and we pray that You would reach ones who have a false image of who You are. Who have only heard about You, or compared You to a man... and don't really know YOU and your incomparable love for them! Reach them as only You can.

Without love we are nothing! You loved us first, Lord! Thank you that You are faithful!! to us!!!! And in general!!!
We love the ways you manifest Yourself to us. We love that You make a way where there seems to be no way. We are so thankful that You know the end from the beginning.
We love how patient You are, and that this is part of Your definition of Love!!! PATIENCE and Kindness!!! You suffer long in Your love towards us.
God... You FIND us!! Oh how I love that about you. You're a SEEKER! You are relentless! You are not like us.

Amen! We are loved...the sinner is loved, the child of God is loved and even our enemies are loved.....

Wow! How amazing is the depth, height, width of God’s love for you.....

for God so LOVED the world he gave his only son...

no greater love has any man than he lay his life down for the one he loved

the law is found in two commands, love the lord Your God with all Your heart mind and soul, and love your neighbor, who is your neighbor? Everyone, even your enemy.

God loved us when we were his ene,y and commands us to do the same

A testimony on love:

1Corinthians 13:4-8
My dear friends Jim and Nancy struggled in their marriage. They became born again in there 40's or so. And they'd had some rough roads but managed to hold it together.
Finally, when they were at their wits ends as baby Christians and had tried hard enough on their own, they sought Christian counsel.
The counselor gave them a project. Every day they were to recite I Corinthians 13:4-8 only inserting each other's names so it read like this:
Jim is Patient
Nancy is kind
Jim does boast.

It went OK with no wrinkles for a while but one day there was a battle and they fought it.
Still they sat down and did the work.
Through gritted teeth: Nancy was PATIENT>
Jim is Kind....
Nancy does not BOAST.
Finally reaching the end of the verse and moving on with the day.

Theirs, however, was a victory.
They learned laughter registers greater than pain and their gain...60 plus years of marriage.
Jim went to be with the Lord.
He hung on for some time though they sensed the Lord calling, he didn't go.

Then one day, his oldest son whispered in his ear...'Dad, you know we're going to take care of her, don't you?"

Shortly after, Nancy saw him raise his hand to heaven and he went home.
I"ve seen some beautiful couples...but this is my favorite story to date.
