you say justly if we recognize that the dialogue between Jesus and Nicodemus was in Greek.
But the dialogue could have taken place and in the Aramaic. I think in this case the author of the Gospel deliberately used the ambiguous ἄνωθεν instead of πάλιν.

Why would John choose to use an ambiguous word? If Jesus said again, then there is an unambiguous word for that (πάλιν). If he said from above what other Greek word could John have used than ἄνωθεν?

Now the scribes that King James used to translate the Bible from Greek and Hebrew. You could compare some of them to a Catholic priest. They were mostly good scribes, But some Kenits were in the mix, ( if you don't know who they are, then rain on you sunshine ) You really should do more study, It is important to know who they are. And the holy spirit can lead you on this cause he understands Greek and Hebrew. And that is how we keep from being deceived. We find out for our selves if the translator translated it correctly. You will find that most errors were because of the language difference. Back then there were not English words that would translate from Greek and Hebrew, So the translators had to find a way to convey the message without changing the meaning of the text, They did the best they could and I believe they were lead of the holy spirit, Even the Kenites, He used them to hide his mysteries then he will give whoever asks the key of David to unlock his mysteries. Let's move on.

Now we have to acquire the tools.
King James Version Bible. All the others are just good reference books.
The first translation is the 1611 version w/Apocrypha some do some don't, Next the KJB that has all the thees, thous and thuses w/o Apocrypha in it, It is hard to understand for most people. ( it was for me anyway. ). Then there is the one we all know and love, That's the one I use. I also just use all others for reference to see how they compare some versions have an easier way to understand, something and some are just bad translation. Oh, the first three bibles I mention were all translated from Greek and Hebrew after that they were translated from the KJB, like the NIV, If my memory serves me correctly.

Now I need to explain something a bible is like a computer in this respect, every computer has an operating system and it doesn't matter which one you all windows computer are the same, What makes them different from one another is the bloatware, the things that come with it, Now the KJB is KJB if you stay with the same version it doesn't which one you get there all the same. what makes them different is the commentary that comes with it

Then there is the Strongs concordance, I forget where I read it but the newer strongs had some changes made to accommodate the new religion Christendom
so just be careful.

Then there is the smith's bible dictionary. This one is self-explanatory.

So that is why I take everything back g and h If someone says you don't need to. That should be a red flag.

Yep. An angel is a messenger sent by God to deliver a message. Old and new testiment is full of proof. Not sure if you have ever read any verses with angels in them. They are also called sons of God, sons of man, there are many terms for them, but one thing you can be sure of in every case they had a spirit with a body that could be seen. Who do you think the embody ment of the holy spirit is. Im guessing you dont believe in the trinity.
It might benifit you to spend more time in g and h,
You seems you put limatations on the Holy Spirit. He can guide any one at any time.

Ok I do believe in Angels, I don't know yet if we are looking at them in the same context. Example; you use a Spirit being the HolySpirit in this case to give an example. To me, again if I'm reading it right, would be a um, you will have to explain it.
I would not make a random statement about the G and H if I had not been looking at it for years. I didn't say don't go there, I just would not live there. If you use something other the a KJV bible you will need more help. I believe the HolySpirit does lead us, but what is he leading us into, Jesus tells us, all truth yes but He is the revealer, He is action. Christ just is in the scriptures, He is just everything, the nucleus of all things and that Christ is in you now don't you thing the HolySpirit would be trying to teach BA people something about that. That is what Jesus said He would do, real truth, Christ in you the hope of glory.

I agree, there is no better teacher than the Holy Spirit. But original text was in greek, hebrew and arameic. So when i study in english and im getting snared as you call it. The Holy Spirit all was takes me back to original text. Greek and hebrew. I have enjoyed our conversation. Hang in there and stay in his word.
