Cry me a river....I have never questioned anyone's salvation, the gospel they embrace yes....so, does God will you to lie and misrepresent the truth like you do regularly!?

Lol!!!! You're the one crying because you think a person doubted your conversion. Why shouldn't they though? Look at your track record. So I ask: you're "converted?"

You've questioned not only my salvation but that of many others on here in so many words in addition to relegating us to a cult. Right? Of course, own your words, you will before God, and you are to that daily.

It's hilarious you won't even own your own words and condemnation of others. In fact you do it regularly.

For the record I don't lie on here nor do I misrepresent his truths, that's just more of your baseless accusations.

Mere "believeism" of their truncated "gospel" does nothing but "believe" yet so do demons, but at least demons tremble; James 2:19.

Marks of true conversion, sanctification, evidence of works, evidences of grace, which are all biblical? Mocked, disbelieved, denied. Yet my bible says his sheep hear his voice and follow Him. Sheep don't mock His truth. :)

Belief in a truncated "gospel" equates to truncated professing "believers."
We are speaking about true converts to the faith ... not the false professors.

While the bible gives us instruction, help, encouragement on how to walk in the Spirit it does not look the same for everyone.

Umm and do you remember openly denying a person's salvation, calling them a drunkard and an adulterer?

I do believe you and dc have come into this thread to sow discord and division,......so once again I will leave you and dc too it.

I will now exit this thread once and for all.....goodnight.
I hope you will reconsider and not allow others to cause you to leave your own thread. Consider the interaction of others besides them, sharpen your sword via the naysayers, stand on the word in spite of their efforts to sow discord and cause division. No matter which thread you engage in, they will come there to do the same.

Seems Paul had something to say about persons who believe they can live however they desire because of their version of "grace." Romans 3:8 speaks about what comes to them as being "just." I agree with him.

This is very ironic since it your version of grace that is not biblical.

The "irresistible" grace.

Having stated that Paul is not in your court on this ...
Our deeds never determined our destiny and to preach grace is not to sanction sin but to settle one's trust in the Saviour... no one is sanctioning sin...but by your perverted logic that is your accusation against us.

What does that mean in the bible?
This is where we need to start (in the passage quoted above in post #20):
Matthew 7:15,16 Beware of false prophets, which come to you in sheep's clothing, but inwardly they are ravening wolves. Ye shall know them by their fruits.

But the "ravening wolves" also include false teachers and heretics: For I [Paul] know this, that after my departing shall grievous wolves enter in among you, not sparing the flock. Also of your own selves shall men arise, speaking perverse things, to draw away disciples after them. (Acts 20:29,30).

The apostle Peter goes into greater detail in 2 Peter 2:
1 But there were false prophets also among the people, even as there shall be false teachers among you, who privily shall bring in damnable heresies, even denying the Lord that bought them, and bring upon themselves swift destruction.
2 And many shall follow their pernicious ways; by reason of whom the way of truth shall be evil spoken of.
3 And through covetousness shall they with feigned words make merchandise of you: whose judgment now of a long time lingereth not, and their damnation slumbereth not.

So it is Peter who actually lists the fruits of false prophets and false teachers:

1. DAMNABLE HERESIES: Particularly attacks on the Trinity and the Deity of Christ -- "the doctrine of Christ". See the epistles of John regarding the Gnostics (who taught both lasciviousness and asceticism depending on who was teaching), and the epistles of Paul regarding the Judaizers (demanding Torah Observance), as well those who bring doctrines of demons (devils) forbidding to marry (celibacy as in the Catholic Church) and commanding to abstain from meats (dietary restrictions from the Law of Moses) . Any Gospel other than the true Gospel of Christ is also a damnable heresy.

2. DENYING THE LORD THAT BOUGHT THEM:
1 JOHN 4:1-3 & 2 JOHN 1: 7-10: PERVERTING THE DOCTRINE OF CHRIST

1 Beloved, believe not every spirit, but try the spirits whether they are of God: because many false prophets are gone out into the world. 2 Hereby know ye the Spirit of God: Every spirit that confesseth that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is of God: 3 And every spirit that confesseth not that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is not of God: and this is that spirit of antichrist, whereof ye have heard that it should come; and even now already is it in the world...
7 For many deceivers are entered into the world, who confess not that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh. This is a deceiver and an antichrist. 8 Look to yourselves, that we lose not those things which we have wrought, but that we receive a full reward. 9 Whosoever transgresseth, and abideth not in the doctrine of Christ, hath not God. He that abideth in the doctrine of Christ, he hath both the Father and the Son. 10 If there come any unto you, and bring not this doctrine, receive him not into your house, neither bid him God speed:

2. PERNICIOUS WAYS: But chiefly them that walk after the flesh in the lust of uncleanness, and despise government. Presumptuous are they, selfwilled, they are not afraid to speak evil of dignities. (2 Pet 2:10)

3. COVETOUSNESS: Preachers of the the Prosperity Gospel, and those preachers who earn millions from ministry, and maintain a lavish lifestyle at the expense of poor, gullible Christians.

4. FEIGNED WORDS: For such are false apostles, deceitful workers, transforming themselves into the apostles of Christ. And no marvel; for Satan himself is transformed into an angel of light. Therefore it is no great thing if his ministers also be transformed as the ministers of righteousness; whose end shall be according to their works. (2 Cor 11:13-15)

5. MAKING MERCHANDISE OF YOU: Those who enter the Christian ministry to profit from it. Therefore Peter warns all elders: The elders which are among you I exhort, who am also an elder, and a witness of the sufferings of Christ, and also a partaker of the glory that shall be revealed: Feed the flock of God which is among you, taking the oversight thereof, not by constraint, but willingly; not for filthy lucre, but of a ready mind; Neither as being lords over God's heritage, but being ensamples to the flock. And when the chief Shepherd shall appear, ye shall receive a crown of glory that fadeth not away. (1 Pet 5:1-4)

A close study of the letters to the seven churches in Revelation will show what kind of heresies and false doctrines had entered into the churches even as early as the Apostolic Age.

My dog on on the rug lies less than you....everytime you misrepresent us or embellish what we say = NOT TRUE which = lies....

Listen pal...you may have a few of these women deceived by your smooth talking, smoozing that you do...but the rest of us see right through your charade and your false religion.

Like I said the other day....I feel sorry for the people that are chained under your rule....and make no mistake...they are chained!

One has to learn to walk in the Spirit to bear fruit... newly born again believers are learning to "walk" and that takes time.

Matthew 13:31 Another parable put he forth unto them, saying, The kingdom of heaven is like to a grain of mustard seed, which a man took, and sowed in his field:
32 Which indeed is the least of all seeds: but when it is grown, it is the greatest among herbs, and becometh a tree, so that the birds of the air come and lodge in the branches thereof.

1 Thessalonians 3:12 And the Lord make you to increase and abound in love one toward another, and toward all men, even as we do toward you:

Really wish (and more than anything) that mature fruit of the Spirit just popped like that in an instant as soon as it was sown. That would be great! But it does take some time, and teaching the opposite can discourage young believers from diligence in the Word that they need to exercise. The Word of God never returns void and we must place faith into the promises of God and as we believed, so it will be unto us.

poor behavior, bad fruit, malice, mockery, slander, ridicule, lying and the like.
I wait with gleeful anticipation to see if you’re man enough to admit you’re guilty of any of the above. Don’t let your pride get in the way of being honest. God is watching. Unless of course God directs you to be dishonest.

The Vine and the Branches.

I am the true vine, and my Father is the gardener.
He cuts off every branch in me that bears no fruit, while every branch that does bear fruit he prunes so that it will be even more fruitful.
You are already clean because of the word I have spoken to you.
Remain in me,and I will remain in you.
No branch can bear fruit by itself ,it must remain in the Vine.
Neither can you bear fruit unless you remain in me.
I am the Vine, you are the Branches.
If a man remains in me and I in him,he will bear much fruit, apart from me you can do nothing.

Read the Vine and the Branches John 15.

Some people think the fruit referred to here has to do with the gifts of the Spirit-how many people they have won to Christ, how much they have prophesied in His Name and various other good works accomplished through the spiritual gifts.
But Jesus warns that there are many who call Him “Lord Lord” who had many such good works, who manifested the gifts of the Spirit, but nevertheless He never really knew them.Mathew 7:21-23.
When Jesus speaks about bearing fruit by abiding in him.
He is speaking about the fruit of the Spirit that comes forth in the lives of those who walk in the Spirit.

What it means to abide in Him.

The bearing of fruit, the fruit of the Spirit, can only come forth by abiding in Jesus and walking in the Spirit.
To abide in Jesus is a very active lifestyle!
It means to live in such a way that I am always found to be in him,to walk hand in hand with Him,to live according to his word.If you abide in me,and my words abide in you...it is clear that abiding in Jesus has to do with His words abiding in( I.e.dwelling in,having power in) my heart and mind.
When the words of Jesus abide and have power in my heart and mind such that I obey them by the power of the Spirit, then the fruit of the Spirit, the virtues of Jesus, will also come forth in my life.

More to follow on.

What it means to bear fruit.

Fruits as an analogy is not always a direct and only reference to fruits of the Spirit.
It is not "fruits" of the Spirit, but "fruit" of the Spirit. Gal 5v16-26 (esp. v22)...

You can find a bit of a study Here on that subject...

No amount of self-effort will bear spiritual fruit,it requires a total surrender to my self will to God so that I can obey Jesus words in the daily situation of life,in order for the fruit of the Spirit to come forth instead of my own nature.
Such a total surrender occurs when Jesus is my first Love and reigns in my heart and mind. Then it is his will-His Word- that is done in my life, and not my own will.
Then the bearing of fruit-the fruit of the Spirit, the fruit of obeying Jesus words-will come forth quite naturally.

All Praise For Our Lord Jesus.....all Glory goes to our King.....our wonderful Father In Heaven...Amen.

What it means to be pruned...will follow later......God Bless You All....In Jesus Name.....Amen!
