After the news of her death.....

My husband and I were concerned we would see her
leave us before we would leave this earth. Ironically
we were able to know her wishes should she die before
us. She was 45, and unemployed. Ready to get back
on track. She prayed daily, and fought many demons.

I just want to share the day her daughter and I looked
for new clothing for her to be buried in. New clothes
head to toe.

After she was buried, I had to go shopping and I was in
Target. I was looking for slippers. I remember it was like
a week after she had been buried. I was in shoe aisle and
I just sat down on the floor and sobbed. Grief hits when
we least expect it. There are always going to be something
to remind us of those who passed on.

January is hard month for me because when she died of
hypothermia, it was the night I asked God to keep her warm.
Not knowing things were going to occur. I said to myself,
"I should have purchased her a blanket for Christmas."
She died easily, in fetal position. She was truly blessed not
to have felt pain. The vehicle was cold. I will never forget
seeing her in the ER. Always etched in my memory. She
is free at last ~

I miss her love and laughter. It is so quiet. I know we
go through these things so we may have compassion on
others going through same or worse.

Our God is truly our Comforter ~ Without Him I would
not have made it this far. I praise Him for being here
for me, and I do ask He be with all who are grieving.
God be with you ~ Love in Christ. ~ 11.30.13

You are so kind. I was a mess for a year. Had many
questions with God regarding issues. He has been my
strong tower. I wanted to tell you the Baby is beautiful.
Those blue eyes are so precious. God bless you ~ doll
