Consider yourselves also dead to sin and your relation to it broken, but alive to God [living in unbroken fellowship with Him] in Christ Jesus. —Romans 6:11
People who are not saved are spiritually dead. This means they are not able to enjoy communion with God or perceive and follow the intuitive promptings of the Holy Spirit. These people are limited to their natural or intellectual knowledge and to their common sense; they cannot enjoy the privilege and power of living by revelation.
But, when we have been born again and are alive spiritually, God can speak to us and show us things we could not know without divine revelation.
In the past, I have held jobs and positions of responsibility in which I did not have all the natural knowledge to carry out the assignments given to me. But, I had an intimate, personal relationship with the Lord, so He led me and enabled me to do things I was not fully trained to do.
I never studied how to lead a ministry or how to use mass communications effectively. But God has equipped me with everything we need to minister in various ways, including mass media, all around the world. God leads us, step-by-step, by His Spirit. With each step of faith we take, He continues to teach us and show us what to do next.
God will also equip you to do what He has called you to do if you are in fellowship with Him. If you will be diligent to seek Him and listen to His voice, He will lead you supernaturally. He will teach you how to fulfill His purposes for your life—and they may be far greater than anything you are currently trained to do or could ever imagine.
God’s word for you today: God will equip you with everything you need.
