Why do we say Amen? Where does our Amen originate from?

According to History, Amen was one of the main Pagan deities in Egyptian mythology.
This pagan worship later spread to Greece, Syria and surrounding areas.

Amun, Amon (A-men-a) Ammon (Amen') Amen (A'men), an ancient deity, on e of the most powerful gods. It was originally the chief god of Thebes. Amon grew increasingly important in Egypt, and eventually as Amun-ra (Amen-ra) he was identified with Ra as the supreme deity.
He was also identified with the Greek ZEUS (the Roman Jupiter)

It was under this pagan false god that Moses was brought up and Israel influenced since their 400 years of Egyptian slavery.
When Israel finally got delivered from Egyptian bondage and pagan worship, how much of the Egyptian idolatry did they carry with them into the desert?
Was the golden calf an expression of their pagan worship back there in Egypt?
When all the people of Israel was saying "Amen", was their Amen connected to the Egyptian false god?
And is that what spread through the ages even into Christianity today?
