Breathe the truth. Make the truth the air that fills you, moves you, makes you exist (At 17:28).

• “He who breathes truth shows forth righteousness, but a false witness deceit.” (Pro 12:17)

One of the excerpts that I like very much to read is this:

• “And the chief priests and the elders and all the sanhedrin sought false witness against Jesus, in order to put Him to death. But they found none; yea, though many false witnesses came, they found none. But at last two false witnesses came up.” (Mat 26:59,60).

After all, think: it’s common someone to strain to find the truth. But, to find a false testimony is easy: it’s enough to invent some lie. Nonetheless, they weren’t being able to do so. And the reason is simple: Jesus’ life is so holy and pure that it was unfeasible to find some lie that can convince people to believe and get angry at Him.

But there is something more that we can see in this passage. Note how many false witnesses the religious leaders found. Even Jesus having done so many miracles and healings, it was easy to find these kind of people.

If it were in our days, He would cease this pandemic (see Luke 6:17,18). But the truth is: there are people that get pleasure in propagating the deceit. It is in their nature. One example of this kind of person is the antichrist:

• “Let not anyone deceive you by any means. For that Day shall not come unless there first comes a falling away, and the *man of sin* shall be revealed, *the son of perdition*,” (2Th 2:3)
• “The beast that you saw was, and is not, and is about to ascend out of the abyss and *go into perdition*. And those dwelling on the earth will marvel, those whose names were not written in the Book of Life from the foundation of the world, when they behold the beast that was, and is not, and yet is.” (Rev_17:8)
• “And the beast that was, and is not, even he is the eighth, and is of the seven, and goes into perdition.” (Rev_17:11).

See that he is the man of iniquity (sin) and the son of perdition, who will live in perdition and walk toward perdition. And all his actions spins around stand out the social inequality and make people to lose themselves (lose their soul and identity) in pernicious desires and fantasies.

Note, for instance, how the women are being compelled to think, feel and act like men and *VICE-VERSA*. There is an appeal to be what it isn’t. And the worst is that many believers in Christ will follow the salacious demeanor of the antichrist until lose themselves outright:

• “and with all deceit of unrighteousness in those who perish, because they did not receive the love of the truth, so that they might be saved.” (2Th_2:10).

It comes the question: why they won’t wish to stick to the true love? See the case of Judas: he was called son of perdition too (Joh_17:12). And what He did? He sold Jesus in exchange of money.

The difference between Judas and the antichrist is: Judas tried to make the humanity lose themselves contributing to remove Jesus of the world physically; the antichrist will try it denying Jesus, that is to say, changing the pure and holy character of Christ, so that people can glorify Jesus without ditch their carnal passions and, thus, making them convince themselves they are saved (Jude 4).

So, let’s have a good day welcoming the love that comes from the Truth. Other source of “love” is a false imitation which can sink people in wreck and perdition (see 1Tim 6:9).
