There is a song we sing named "Everlasting God". One of the lines goes like this~ Strength will rise as we wait upon the Lord, wait upon the Lord."
Even while we are waiting on the Lord the things in this world don't stop and wait with us. We may have trials and troubles all around us, but God as we wait on Him grows our patience, and that patience keep us knowing God will take care of us. When God acts in His timing the Blessings we receive will be abundant, enough to share with others!!!
3-5 There’s more to come: We continue to shout our praise even when we’re hemmed in with troubles, because we know how troubles can develop passionate patience in us, and how that patience in turn forges the tempered steel of virtue, keeping us alert for whatever God will do next. In alert expectancy such as this, we’re never left feeling shortchanged. Quite the contrary—we can’t round up enough containers to hold everything God generously pours into our lives through the Holy Spirit!
