Before I really got saved ( at 47 years old), I spent all my time out side the safety of Jesus' corral. The thief came stole what he could, tried to destroy me, and then to kill me. That is when I walked up to the Gate ( Jesus ), it opened and I walked into the Kingdom. The gate had always been there but my eyes were blinded to it. The lie the thief was dangling in front of me kept me from seeing the Gate. Once the thief had me he then tried to kill me, But Jesus opened those blind eyes and led me through the Gate to safety.

So Jesus said again, “I assure you, I am the gate for the sheep. I am the gate. Whoever enters through me will be saved. They will be able to come in and go out. They will find everything they need. A thief comes to steal, kill, and destroy. But I came to give life—life that is full and good.

Luke 13:23. Then said one unto him, Lord, are there few that be saved? And he said unto them, 24. Strive to enter in at the strait gate: for many, I say unto you, will seek to enter in, and shall not be able.

Dennis, it makes me wonder why Jesus said to the man strive to enter in at the strait gate. He said many will seek to enter in and shall not enter. Maybe Jesus meant they would try to enter in at the wrong door! There are many beliefs in the world today and the scriptures say there is one faith. Jesus said, he that entereth not by the door into the sheepfold, but climbeth up some other way, the same is a thief and a robber,John 10:1-9.
