Welcome to 2014. This is the time each year that we all think about what we want to change about our selves. So we make a list of what we are going to do different in 2014. With in a few days we find that one of the things we intended to do is just too hard so we forget about it. As the weeks go on one by one our good intentions fall by the wayside and nothing changes in our life. ... I am so glad things don't have to be that way. You see when we accept Jesus as our Savior we have Him and the Power of the Holy Spirit to help us. Do we still have to make a choice on what to do, absolutely! But now we have the availability to call on Heavenly Power to help make the right Choices. Suddenly the old things in our life that we did not need are gone, we now are living in a new world and our life becomes more like Christ's with each good choice we make. HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!
16 From this time on we don’t think of anyone as the world thinks of people. It is true that in the past we thought of Christ as the world thinks. But we don’t think that way now.
17 When anyone is in Christ, it is a whole new world. The old things are gone; suddenly, everything is new!
18 All this is from God. Through Christ, God made peace between himself and us. And God gave us the work of bringing people into peace with him.
