When we accept Jesus as our Lord and Savior we walk into a New Life. A life that wants to show Jesus how much we Love Him by Obeying His teachings which came from God Himself. If we really Love Him we will strive with all that is in us to Obey them. Jesus knew how hard it was to fight ones flesh ( while He was on this earth He had to fight a fleshly body that wanted Him to fail.) so the Holy Spirit was sent to us to help us Obey Jesus teachings. We can overcome evil by Obeying those teachings.

23 Jesus answered, “All who love me will obey my teaching. My Father will love them. My Father and I will come to them and live with them.
24 But anyone who does not love me does not obey my teaching. This teaching that you hear is not really mine. It is from my Father who sent me.
25 “I have told you all these things while I am with you.
26 But the Helper will teach you everything and cause you to remember all that I told you. This Helper is the Holy Spirit that the Father will send in my name.

Yes amen to this. I was thinking about when Jesus cursed the fig tree, and it withered. He used his words. He could of pulled it out of the ground and it could of dried in the sun, and died. Or told the disciples to rip it out, destroy it. AS the Father spoke things into being. We are told that life and death are in the power of the words. We are created in God's image. Believe, speak the word. Words come back to us. HOwever they were creativly said, for blessings, or for destruction. Much wisdom in your blogs..
