Do not settle for what is not normal!!!
We were accustomed not to hear the voice of the Creator and to act as well it seems to us. Nevertheless, if the Creator doesn’t wish to talk to us, why would he send Jesus to die on the cross?
Perhaps you will say: “Jesus died for our sins”.
Right! Notwithstanding, what profit would this have to us if we can’t feel His presence, hear His voice and be guided for Him?
We need to get conscious that we need of Him, in person. It isn’t in vain that the Holy Scripture avouch that the Church is the bride of the Lamb: because the love between husband and wife is the stronger manifestation of Jesus’ love between two human beings.
This love is so sturdy that not even the death has sufficient power to quench it (Songs 8.6,7; 1Corinthians 15.54). And Jesus long for loving us personally with this kind of love in its purer state (without the interference of the sin).
So, let’s not forget that it’s doable and vital hearing Jesus’ voice. Let alone let’s disregard His promises as if they were to take place only in the eternity.
The promises of Jesus to us are for now! In particular, in this moment of crisis, I highlight:
Have I quiet day resting in this promise, but keep in mind: if you don’t hear Creator’s voice, don’t conform with it. Recall that His voice is what define all the situation around us (Exodus 3.14) and is what allow us to be followed by the blessings (Deuteronomy 28.1,2).
- “Get wisdom, get understanding; forget not; nor turn away from the words of my mouth.” (Proverbs 4.5).

- Matthew 6.33: If we seek out Creator’s kingdom and His justice, certainly He will afford our REAL necessities.
- “Surely He has borne our griefs, and carried our sorrows; yet we esteemed Him stricken, smitten of God, and afflicted. But He was wounded for our transgressions; He was bruised for our iniquities; the chastisement of our peace was on Him; and with His stripes we ourselves are healed.” (Isaiah 53:4,5).
