Wow.

Whereas the Bible speaks of bringing forth fruits worthy of repentance, you call it crap.

Like I said, you're off on the wrong foot.

Anyhow, I'll leave in your state of self-justification.

If you ever actually desire any help in overcoming your lust, then I'll be happy to help you with that.
No thank you. I'm not calling the bible crap. I'm calling you crap!

Everybody knows that lust is wrong. Including me. I tried talking to my youth pastor about it. I tried talking to the head pastor about it. I tried talking to my Dad about it. I've talked to other people about it. I've read books about it. And I have prayed extensively about it. That is why I get a bit mad when people want to tell me, if you will just truly repent... Yeah whatever! If people want to pray for me, fine. But those kinds of opinions are not helpful!

The conversations with my Pastors and even My Dad didn't go very far. The advice they all gave me was "Just do the best you can". But that is the way a lot of people think. If you believe that full repentance will fix something like this, then show me the scriptures that say that. My guess is, you repent, and then you find yourself doing it again, then you try to repent, and then you find yourself doing it again. I got no idea how God handles sin like this.

I never meant for this blog to turn into a whole thing about lust. Some people equate sexual attraction and lust into one thing.

My criteria:
1. She loves the Lord.
2. She's kind.
3. She's not really overweight.
4. She's no more than 10 years younger than me...I'm in my 60s.
5. Her libido is still alive.

Though I'm not looking...but who knows?

I read a lot of stuff about Lust. The more I read, and the more I prayed. The more I realized there seems to be no fix for it. It's just a cross that guys must carry until they die.
I'd argue God didn't create men with a lust instinct. A man's natural appreciation of a woman's beauty is just part of the design, whether that's her hair, her face, her breasts, hips, lips, legs etc. That's not lust, in my view. If you look at the passage where Jesus talks about lust, the man looks on the woman with the intention to lust after her, which is adultery. First, adultery (rather than fornication) requires the woman be married (although, I guess arguably, one could fornicate via lusting also). But second, it is the desire (and preparedness) to put one's selfish needs (to satisfy himself) over his neighbour (taking another man's wife).

The natural desire men have for women is not lust, and is the reason people get married. It is not a selfish desire - it is desire for a mutually beneficial relationship. The man provides his name, strength and protection to the woman, and she in turn provides her love and body to him, and produces children for him.

I always pay more attention to a person's interior than the exterior. God created our exterior, but we are creating our interior. Luckily we live in a wonderful time, and we can change our appearance as we want. Even becoming younger is not such a big problem as it was in the past. For example, I have made a Face Lift operation at https://www.visageclinic.com/cosmetic-surgery/tummy-tuck/. I got rid of deep creases, tightened up double chins, and smoothed out facial fat to give you an all-over younger-looking face.
