God did not wait for me (or mankind) to repent in order to send his Son to die for me. He sent His Son when the world was steeped in sin.
He made the first move and then expected me to respond.
Why can’t I do the same with people around me?
Why do I wait for my spouse to act righteous first?
Why do I wait for my neighbor to greet me first?
Why do I wait for the needy to ask for help?
Why do I want others to apologize first?
It's hard to understand Gods Amazing Unconditional Love for all of us. Only He can do that. We cannot demonstrate the same love he has given to us. But we can do our part to Love our neighbor and be selfless little by little. Its a process, to some are born with it, and some takes time.
Why can’t I do the same with people around me?-u need to want it more
Why do I wait for my spouse to act righteous first?-idk maybe pride, ego? nature? try to make a difference.
Why do I wait for my neighbor to greet me first?-so dont be shy next time u see him/her smile and greet. if ur not comfortable with ur neighbor inviting him to a small bonding, get to know them more. maybe you could go to church together..
Why do I wait for the needy to ask for help? maybe ur not that comfortable to approach them. sometimes u should plan to help and really do it.
Why do I want others to apologize first? ego, pride I'm sure you know this one.
