God wants you to have joy. He says it right in His Word. Do you want joy? Most people answer, "Of course I want joy!" But do you really want joy? Even if it means letting go of bitterness, bad memories, anger, and a negative attitude? If you can still say, "Yes, I still want joy even if means laying aside these things"....then let's take hold of it today by way of prayer!
Lord, I pray Your Spirit would deliver us from our negative attitudes and emotions and replace it with a joy that does not depend on ideal circumstances but on our relationship with Your magnificent Son who gave His Son for this world to know You. In Christ's Name, Amen.
