How is our heart?

  • “The mouth of a righteous man is a fountain of life; but the mouth of the wicked covereth violence.” (Proverbs 10:11).

The wicked needs to make a great effort to hide the violence that exists in their heart. After all, once out of the abundance of the heart the mouth speaks (Mat 12:34), it’s impossible to preclude that the turpitude escapes.

When someone carry out the evil, it is because they can’t stand keeping so much evil to themselves. Their reality is this:

  • “They hatch adders' eggs and weave the spider's web; he who eats their eggs dies, and that which is crushed breaks out into a viper.” (Isa 59:5).

If they eat the violence that they hatch, they languish and dry inside; if they put their violence out, this became a viper to run after them and poison their souls. So, the only alternative is to try to ornate their violence.

Fortunately, for those who are full of the Holy Spirit, there is no concern about this:

  • “Jesus answered and said to her, whoever drinks of this water shall thirst again, but whoever drinks of the water that I shall give him shall never thirst, but the water that I shall give him shall be in him a well of water springing up into everlasting life.” (John 4:13-14)
  • “And in the last day of the great feast, Jesus stood and cried out, saying, If anyone thirsts, let him come to Me and drink. He who believes on Me, as the Scripture has said, "Out of his belly shall flow rivers of living water.” (But He spoke this about the Spirit, which they who believed on Him should receive; for the Holy Spirit was not yet given, because Jesus was not yet glorified.)” (Joh 7:37-39)

So, let’s purify our lives letting Jesus living in us always and daily. Good day in Christ Jesus.
