How is our search for knowing Jesus better?

  • “Do not forsake her, and she shall preserve you; love her, and she shall keep you.” (Proverbs 4.6).

The wisdom keeps and preserves us if we keep “her” every time. Our lean is to forsake “her” always we come across some predicament. Nonetheless, try to iron out the problems of our way is hazardous. It only adjourns the problem and exacerbate it.

Although, many times, His wisdom sounds like madness, the best thing to do is abide by it.

However, if we go deeper into the study of the Holy Scriptures, we will see that, everything in Christ that seems strange, picayine, funny, is, in fact, more powerful than all the armies of the earth (1 Corinthians 1:25).

It’s sufficient to muse on how the Creator made the Earth:

  • “Jehovah has founded the earth by wisdom; by understanding He has founded the heavens.” (Proverbs 3.19).

Pore on Proverbs 8 and see how all in the Earth came to existence through the wisdom of the Eternal. Therefore, if we yearn for living a life of success and victory, we need to have intimacy with the Creator and His wisdom.

And don’t try to cheat yourself alleging that the Holy Scripture is difficult to figure out. The promise is clear:

  • “At that time Jesus answered and said, I thank You, O Father, Lord of Heaven and earth, because You have hidden these things from the sophisticated and cunning, and revealed them to babes.” (Matthew 11.25).
  • “But if any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and with no reproach, and it shall be given to him. But let him ask in faith, doubting nothing. For he who doubts is like a wave of the sea, driven by the wind and tossed. For do not let that man think that he shall receive anything from the Lord; a double-minded man, not dependable in all his ways.” (James 1.5-8).

Have a good day going over this.
