Let your imagination run wild, I'm not saying how I was taken down.
But in it all there's a light at the end of this tunnel.
I HATE those things that God hates that I do.
I hate them!
I hate saying this because I'm justifying myself.
But it makes me feel better to express the simple fact that I hate them!
But I feel like Jesus is going to deliver me from them.
That's a part of salvation, isn't it?
Jesus is going to save me from these things that I hate.
I look for the coming of the Lord, for the hour when he finally destroys these things in my life that are crippling my walk as a productive Christian!
At this moment I can commit to never doing them again, but I will probably do them again.
I don't want to!
I want to be rid of them!
If only I could pluck out my eye!
Or cut off my hand!
Jesus will come and do it for me. He will save me.
He saved my soul, he will save me from these things.
He will either deal with the desire in me or remove me from them or them from me, or provide a substitute.
Yes, he provides a way!
But there is Salvation! At the hands of God!
He saves me! I don't do anything but trust Him!
I trust that these things are bad for me! I trust Him! He says they are bad for me! I trust Him!
He will save me from them! I believe He will do it all! He will do what needs to be done, not me, my Lord will save me by His power!
He will come and save me! His doing, not mine!
