I need help.

Hey people. I've been dealing with lust. I repented but it just won't go away. Tonight I gave into it again. I've tried listening to sermons about it butit's not helping.... Does He turn His ear from people that keeps sinning?

I'm praying for you man. Brother...the flesh is soooo weak and it literally always wants to give in, always. God knows our hearts, often way more than we do. You've repented. Focus on God's spirit hovering over you just as He did over the surface of the deep in Genesis. What does He want to create in you? A pure heart and clean hands synced with His Spirit. Trust Him to hear your prayers, your repentant heart, and believe He in you is bigger than your sin.

read through James 4:7-10. This is like a step-by-step for defeating anything the world, flesh, or devil throws at us. "Humble yourself in the sight of The Lord and He will lift you up." -- the first part is yours, the last part is God's.

It takes a true desire to remove it from your life. I have a daughter, and that's part of my motivation.

Tylerhoward, I hope you are doing alright, I have been thinking about you and I hope you don't get discouraged. When we obey that form of doctrine we put off the former things and walk in a new life that is pleasing to God, by the word of God. However we still have a warfare we have to fight the fight and keep the faith. We all have lust of the flesh, we just have to keep it under subjection to the will of God. This is to keep from sinning and being back in darkness. The thing is to study and to know what sin is. It is hard thing to understand that we still have sin, but we don't give into sin because we are walking by the light of the truth. By walking in the light as Jesus is in the light, we keep the warfare. We all have lust of the flesh but we don't give in to that lust. Not all have the same lust, but we all have a warfare, if we have obeyed that form of doctrine.

If one repents, they cease from doing the thing they repented of, no longer walk that road! If we go back to living in sin, by committing sin, we are back in darkness and in need of being converted. If we have obeyed that form of doctrine, we are an erring child and in need of repentences.

God always hear someone pray n someone effort n someone heart.
Just dont give up and dont let those thinks come n controll yourself. you can said i ben n broke the lust in Jesus name and ask Him to take control of your mind, heart and soul. i know its not easy but keep struggling only God n yourself can do it amen.

James says faith without works is dead! It is obedience to the "word of God" we have to keep. All the praying in the world will not help if you are not willing to walk in the light as he is in the light. What is sin? Anything that transgress the will of God! What is lust of the flesh? Galatians 5:16 This I say then, Walk in the Spirit, and ye shall not fulfil the lust of the flesh. What is the Spirit we walk in? His word is spirit and they are truth! John 4:24 God is a Spirit: and they that worship him must worship him in spirit and in truth. John 6:63 It is the spirit that quickeneth; the flesh profiteth nothing: the words that I speak unto you, they are spirit, and they are life. Galatians 5:17 For the flesh lusteth against the Spirit, and the Spirit against the flesh: and these are contrary the one to the other: so that ye cannot do the things that ye would. Galatians 5:18-26.

I have overcame sin with the Power of God.
