I hear so many people say this....but I have literally tried this....and I look at things so
differenty ..people will think in the moment.......thats when you are deceived....

For example: I asked a friend how her new life with her boyfriend was doing......
She said to me they have a nice home and he takes good care of her
But its boring.......and she was thinking that she needed to
Escape the humdrum life......
I told her that I was happy she had a boring life....
She asked me why would I say that.......
I said......right before you met this man..you were worried about everything
She was in finacial despair worring about finding love...loneliness....
It wasnt that long ago...
So I told her she has no worries. Boring is kind of great...hooray for humdrum....

1 Corinthians 2:16 NASB

For who has known the mind of the L ord , that he will instruct H im ? But we have the mind of Christ.

Romans 12:2 NASB

And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, so that you may prove what the will of God is, that which is good and acceptable and perfect.

So i guess saying "I want to think like God" in my opinion is not enough. We have to go a step further, read His word, and let that transform the way we think. It is the Holy Spirit inside who does the work. Eventually we will have to come to the point from saying "I want to think like God" to "I have the mind of Christ" Praise the Lord

I don´t know -too clearly- why we insist to mingle love with that sort of things matching our convenience$: "I said......right before you met this man..you were worried about everything
She was in
financial despair worring about finding love...loneliness....
It wasnt that long ago...

Amen to that brother.....money means more worries....besides as the Beatles so elegantly
put it...."can't. Buy me love".......I have been single and alone for many years......I don't
get why alot of woman can't live without a partner.....it has its challenges but.....it
made me strong.....I learned to live by faith....and I learned to be happy with just
me and
God.....and if He does send me someone I will be ready.....better then the crazy...
hurtful way of jumping into a dark hole.....peace...jo

Hmmm! Money serves and sometimes a lot, evenly in that singleness you´ve mentioned, but a "life" partner should not be sought to "sort" finantial shortages or our emotional despairs...

Beatles were hypocriticals in some of their lyrics, I guess, it is like Scrooge saying: "I hate the money I ketp..."

He he he. Your funny...and so right.....
A lot of women base men on their income....probably why
divorce is what it is....the thing these women don't understand is
that by doing this...you sell yourself....and you are owned....
Not help mates as God had intended...money you need... to live
in our society....but it can't be your God....and it doesn't prove a
man as good....just cause he has money....

You said it, not me! Love for a rent, like a job is seen sometimes, and that´s not only ladies, but also men.

"Indecent Proposal" trailer said it well!
