The Revelation Perception
The general perception in the Book of Revelation, is that all the events from the opening of the Seven Seals (Chapter 6) onward, occur during what has become traditionally called “The Great Tribulation Period”. This is understood to be the 7-year time period of “Daniel´s 70th week”, or the time of “Jacob´s trouble” as spoken about by the Prophet Jeremiah. All these terms are used to refer to the same coming 7-year period, which supposedly begins with the opening of the 1st Seal and continues thru the 2nd advent of Christ. During the Olivet Discourse, Jesus spoke of the coming days of distress (also translated tribulation) and the Abomination. Therefore, the modern day church has developed this all-inclusive perception and labeled it ¨The Great Tribulation Period¨. This perception is amplified in Revelation Chapter 7 when the “Great Multitude”, in white robes washed in the blood of Christ, are stated to have come out of ¨The Great Tribulation¨.
Rev 7:14 And he said, “These are they who have come out of the great tribulation; they have washed their robes and made them white in the blood of the Lamb.
The accepted Perception is; “The Great Tribulation Period” is Daniel´s 70th week (Aka: Time of Jacob´s trouble), it is 7 yrs long, and it starts with the opening of the 1st seal at the beginning of Chapter 6 in Revelation, and finishes with Jesus´s return. We debate, when the Bride of Christ will be called, in relation to a perceived timeline of “The Great Tribulation Period”.
Sorry for the long prelude, but in the following posts, I am going to present a theory of a possible different perspective of Revelation than what we may have come to understand, along with potential historical proof, to support it. I will not change any content, or order of events in the Revelation Picture. Just looking at it with a different focus, as to how and when the 7 Seals, 7 Trumpets/Thunders, 7 Plague Bowls may relate to each other and the “70th Week”. Changing Content or the order of events, I believe is equivalent to changing (adding and/or subtracting) from the Revelation of Jesus Christ, and a harsh warning is provided by Jesus in this regard.
We will simply look at 2 verses that I suspect are keys (time markers), to possibly change our focus slightly, and then some history, to potentially support this new view, and where it could take us. You may be surprised to what we possibly reveal, about the 4 Horsemen, and present day events.

An alternative Perception – Adjust our eyes for a moment
What if the 7 Seals, and 7 Trumpets, were not part of Daniel´s 70th week (Time of Jacob´s Trouble), the 7-yr tribulation period? What if there were verse markers intended to define a period of 7 Seals (with a purpose), a period of 7 Trumpets (with a purpose), and then a 7-year period of Jacob´s Trouble? Essentially 3 periods (with different purposes) separated by a defining verse between each period.
We are going to start at the end and work back, and some will possibly start to resist and find fault with this perspective theory when we do. But please bear with me to the end, as history events may support this and better help us to see it. The first 2 or 3 of the seals may have already happened, and the descriptions (Clues Jesus Provide) are probably very literal (example, the Sword is probably a real sword, with a name, easily found on the internet, and probably more famous than Goliath´s Sword). The 4th seal has a very specific and measurable clue that can once again be researched on the internet. It could possibly help us understand where we are on the latter-day timeline and what we should possibly be WATCHING for. It would also appear that there is the possibility of a significant time separation between the first 2-seals (2 witness events), and the second 2-seals (2 witness events), similar to the time separation between the 69th and 70th week (what has been done will be done again). The seals may relate to a very specific Clue Jesus provide in the Olivet Discourse. The history that possibly defines this, may be in a place Christians would most likely never look (Islamic History events – Note, not the Koran). But for any of it to have any credence, we have to first address our perceptions. You will need to read all of this, as it will be the totality of everything written that will make this perception possible.
Separation of 7-Trumpets from Daniel’s 70th week
We will start with the verse Rev 10:7, that appears to separate the 70th week of Daniel from the 7-Trumpets. Here is the full context
Rev 10:5 Then the angel I had seen standing on the sea and on the land raised his right hand to heaven. 6 And he swore by him who lives for ever and ever, who created the heavens and all that is in them, the earth and all that is in it, and the sea and all that is in it, and said, “There will be no more delay! 7 But in the days when the seventh angel is about to sound his trumpet, the mystery of God will be accomplished, just as he announced to his servants the prophets.”
Some define the 7th trumpet as the Abomination that occurs at the 70th week mid-point. and I agree as we find the sounding of the 7th trumpet in Rev 11:15. In between Rev 10:7 and Rev 11:15 we have the measuring of the temple and the appointment of the 2 witness who witness for 42 months. This would appear to define the first 42 month (first half of 70th week). It would then place the 7 Plague Bowls, into the latter portion of 2nd half (second 42 months) which are the completion of God´s wrath, pour out on the people with the mark of the beast (see Rev 16:2). It would also provide that the Jewish temple is available at the beginning of the 70th week per Rev 11:1.
