In the interest of time, I am trying not to get to far into the details and provide a complete commentary on this perspective. I leave that to the readers, and any potential future discussions and debates about the potential of this slightly different perspective. Many may say this is not slightly different at all, but if you think about it, I haven´t really change anything in Revelation. We are looking at the picture with a slightly different focus, just like the optical illusion painting. Either perception could be true. It is simply which way we choose to focus our eyes.

But I will make a comment on why the gathering of Christ´s Bride, prior to God´s Wrath on the world is consistent with the rest of the Bible. We find, earlier in the Bible, 2 other examples where God delivers his wrath (There are actually 3, if we include the Egyptian Pharoah). First is in the days of Noah, where God saved Noah and his family from the destruction of the flood, and the second is where Lot and his family were saved from the destruction of Sodom/Gomorrah. In both cases, God not only saved them, but also protected them from the horror of viewing the suffering imposed by his Wrath. Noah and his family were sealed in a window-less vessel. In the case of Lot, the destructive Wrath could not begin until Lot and his family were out of the city (harm’s way), and they were given explicate instructions to not look back. In Isaiah 26:20 we find a similar instruction given to another family, in the distant future. Here is the full context to that verse.

Isaiah 26:19 But your dead will live, Lord;
their bodies will rise
let those who dwell in the dust
wake up and shout for joy—
your dew is like the dew of the morning;
the earth will give birth to her dead.

20 Go, my people, enter your rooms
and shut the doors behind you;
hide yourselves for a little while
until his wrath has passed by.

Note: Go my people, is also translated as Come my people

It would appear Jesus doesn´t want to just save his Bride, but also protect them from visual trauma. This supports the gathering of his Bride before the coming Wrath stated in Rev 6:16/17.

The 7-Seals - How Islamic History may provide the keys to understanding the 4 horsemen

We will now investigate how Islamic history may hold the keys to understanding the 7 seals, but more specifically the 4 horsemen. After this will take a look at how this all fits with the 4 Beast vision in Daniel Chapter 7, and the Legs of Iron with Feet / 10-Toes of Iron and clay mixture of Nebuchadnezzar’s statue. We will finish with the Beast found in Revelation Chapter 17. All elements of these prophecies will need to fit together.

Many of the church are of the opinion that the legs of Nebuchadnezzar’s statue are representative of the Roman Empire with each leg representing the Western and Eastern portions of the Empire. But I see a problem with this, in Christianity became the official Religion of the Roman Empire in 313 AD, and the Roman Empire split into the Eastern and Western Empires 80 years later in 395 AD. The other portions of the Statue are represented by Idolic Empires, and the Roman Empire was a Christian based Empire for a major portion of its existence (One leg for its entire existence)

We may find Islam is a possible better fit. Joel Richardson has written a few books about this, specifically, ´The Islamic AntiChrist´, and Mid East Beast´, both of which I have read. So, this is not a totally new concept, but it is a relatively modern concept (last 10-15 years). We will be expanding on this concept, and taking it to a possible deeper level with the 4 Horsemen.

The Fourth Seal

We will start with the 4th Horsemen as it has a very specific and measurable clue, which may pertain to all the horsemen. It may be about to be fulfilled in the next few years, and something we may want to be watching for. Here is the full context of the 4th Horsemen.

Rev 6:7 When the Lamb opened the fourth seal, I heard the voice of the fourth living creature say, “Come!” 8 I looked, and there before me was a pale horse! Its rider was named Death, and Hades was following close behind him. They were given power over a fourth of the earth to kill by sword, famine and plague, and by the wild beasts of the earth.

Note: The word ´Power´ in Strong´s Concordance is;

exousia: power to act, authority
Usage:
(a) power, authority, weight, especially: moral authority, influence, (b) in a quasi-personal sense, derived from later Judaism, of a spiritual power, and hence of an earthly power.

From this we can see the power is probably referring to a Religious Authority, like the Catholic Pope has religious authority over the Catholic Church.

The Rider, defined as Death, and Hades, they are probably given, Religious Authority, over a 1/4th of the earth.

If we are in the later days, then is there a Religion that is followed by 25% of the world’s population? There is, and it is Islam!
