I'm gunna say some things which may surprise some people. God LOVES the Jews, He loves them in a special way, differently than the way He loves other nations.

You say ah yes when they repent God will love them, or you will say ah yes Abraham, Isaac and Jacob et al, David, God certainly loved them. But look with me to SEE which Israel God loves.
Romans 11.28-30
As regards the gospel they are enemies of God for your sake, but as regards election they are BELOVED for the sake of their forefathers. For the gifts and the call of God are irrevocable.

You see it is the enemies of God which are the ones He called beloved ... Election counts for everything. Folks who are elect can't fail, even when they do wrong God turns it around for good. Not that we should do wrong.

But the greatest wrong, the greatest wickedness ever perpetrated in the Jews giving Christ up to be slain, God turned to the greatest good, the greatest blessing. What they intended for evil, God intended for good.

The Jews will be heavily rewarded for their being used by God as He did. What an unbelievable story.

Here is another thing that will surprise a great many folks

The Jews are to be kept safe during the Great Tribulation.

I don't see anybody who believes this, it's a thing taken for granted by everyone, them Jews have got to be punished, they are to be beaten into submission until they scream for mercy. God didn't treat them like that but that's how He will treat the Jews. so they believe. But what does the bible say?

The word Tribulation comes from the word trouble, it is the time of trouble which is spoken of in the bible such as there never was since there was a nation, nor shall be ever again. It is known in scripture as the time of Jacob's trouble, only once mentioned under that title in Jeremiah. 30. Let's see what Jeremiah says.
Jeremiah.30. 4-
These are the words which the Lord spoke concerning Israel and Judah. Thus says the Lord
We have heard a cry of panic, of terror and not peace
ask now and see, can a man bear a child? why then do I see every man with hiss hands on his loins like a woman in labour?
why has every face turned pale?
Alas that day is so great there is none like it, it is the time of Jacob's trouble. BUT [glorious but]

But he shall be SAVED out of it.

And it shall come to pass in that day, says the Lord of hosts, that I will break the yoke from off their neck and I will burst their bonds asunder and strangers will no longer feed off them but they shall serve the Lord their God and David their King who I will raise up for them

THEN FEAR NOT O JACOB MY SERVANT says the Lord NOR BE DISMAYED O ISRAEL for lo I will SAVE YOU from afar and your seed from the land of their captivity.
Jacob shall return AND HAVE QUIET AND EASE an none shall make him afraid for I am with you to SAVE you says the Lord.

I will make a full end of all the nations among whom I scattered you but of you I will not make a full end, I will chasten you in measure and I will by no means leave you unpunished.

It may be a surprise to many people this prophecy of Jeremiah is confirmed in all the other prophets as well for example
Daniel 12.
At that time shall arise Michael the great prince who has charge of your people.
And there shall be a time of trouble such as never has been since there was a nation till that time but at that time your people SHALL BE DELIVERED every one whose name shall be found in the book and many of those who sleep in the dust of the earth shall awake, some to everlasting life and some to shame and everlasting contempt.

And those who are wise shall shine like the brightness of the firmament and those who turn many to righteousness like the stars for ever and ever.

A very big mistake I notice folks make when they read the prophets concerning Israel is they fail to take into account that there are prophecies that relate to both ...

The fall and the rise of Israel

They jumble them up as though all prophecy relates to the last times. This shows up clearly in the prophecy of Zechariah in ch. 13. and in ch.14.
Zechariah 13. 7-8.
"Awake o sword against My Shepherd, against the man who stands next to Me" says the Lord of hosts.
"strike the Shepherd that the sheep may be scattered, I will turn My hand against the little ones.
In the whole land ... says the Lord ... 2/3rds shall be cut off and perish and 1/3rd shall be left alive and I will put this 1/3rd to the fire ...."

Zechariah 14. 1-7.
Behold a day of the Lord is coming when the spoil taken from you will be divided up in the midst of you. For I will gather all the nations against Israel to battle against Jerusalem, and the city shall be taken and the houses plundered and the women ravished, half of the city will go into exile but the rest of the people shall not be cut off from the city.

Then the Lord will go forth and fight against those nations as when He fights on a day of battle .... "

You see here within a few verse of each other two distinct prophecies concerning two distinct times in the history of the land of Israel. One concerns the FALL of Israel the other concerns the RISE of Israel.

Now when Jesus was arrested He said that the scripture is fulfilled "I will strike the Shepherd and the sheep shall be scattered" This is the fall of Israel, the prophecy cover the time of Jesu's arrest up until 70 ad when the Jews were scattered throughout the nations. This prophecy is fulfilled, yet people apply it to the last days and expect that 2/3rds of the Jews will be destroyed by Antichrist.

But Zechariah 14. is the prophecy that relates to Israel in the last times and concerns the RISE of Israel. See God cannot be both scattering and gathering, punishing and blessing, fighting for and fighting against at one and the same time.

In ch.14 the Jews are dividing the spoils among themselves, they will be attacked, there will be some hurt and damage done in Jerusalem but it is not the wholesale scattering and slaughter spoken of in chapter 13. and what we see is the Lord coming to defend them and totally rout their enemies the nations that come up against them.

I hope to share some prophecies from all the prophets that relate to Israel in the LAST DAYS which are prophecies relating to the RISE of Israel. These are the prophecies which we ought to be looking at today.

I don't think Isaiah 60 refers wholly to the Millennium but I have been believing for quite a while now that

Israel is to become a super power before the end of the present age and before the Lord returns.

Arise and shine for your light has come and the glory of the Lord has risen upon you
for behold darkness shall cover the earth and thick darkness the peoples but the Lord will arise upon you and His glory will be seen upon you.

And nations shall come to your light and kings to the brightness of your rising.

Lift up your eyes round about and see, they all gather together, they come to you. Your sons shall come from afar and your daughters shall be carried in the arms.
Then you shall see and be radiant, your heart shall thrill and rejoice because the abundance of the sea shall be turned to you, the wealth of the nations shall come to you.

A multitude of camels shall cover you, the young camels of Midian and Ephah, all those from Sheba shall come. They will bring gold and frankincense and shall proclaim the praise of the Lord.
All the flocks of Kedar shall be gathered unto you, the rams of Nabai'oth shall minister to you, they shall come with acceptance on My altar and I will glorify My glorious name.

Hi @Evmur,

Here’s something I’ve been pondering....

In Revelation, when John describes the Holy City of Jerusalem it consists of all nations, people including Jews and non-Jews......yet when John describes the wall around Jerusalem, it only is made of the 12 Tribes of Israel...No Gentile Believers.

Truly, Israel is loved very much by God and has a special calling to be The Wall.

I bet there is much hidden manna in the Book of Nehemiah concerning Israel being The Wall...:love:(y)

Yo Lafftur

In one sense it is right that the church should not be too wrapped up in matters concerning Israel as they are now in the world. The church is indeed the true Israel of God, the Bride, you could say the Bride of Christ [how few christians seem to realise how loved they are] But still there is the nation of Israel and they also have promises made to them still yet fulfilled, they also have an inheritance and a place in God's plan. God is working on 2 programs one concerns Heaven and the other Heaven and Earth, we are the latter part the Jews the former.

But because the church has entirely cut away the Jews she fails to accomplish a huge amount of what she ought to achieve in the material or physical world ... in the political realm. She is too heavenly minded to be as great an influence as she ought to be in the world.

Because all the promises concerning the earthly inheritance belongs to the Jews. THEY are to possess the ends of the earth, rule nations with a rod of iron shattering kingdoms and powers [oppressive powers] and also the source of justice peace and prosperity for the peoples. They are the Kingdom of God on Earth ... it's what everybody longs and yearns for, it what the political leaders and religions promise but can't deliver.

It's what we ought to be preaching "I am Lord of Heaven AND EARTH ... go ye therefore into all the world and preach the GOOD NEWS to every creature" we are not to set up the Kingdom but only to bear witness to it, that it is coming.

But most christians do not believe it is coming, in the 4th century the church decided to drop that doctrine in favour amillennialism that is to say no millennial ... the Jews were cut out of the plan altogether and from that time counted as enemies to the church.

The church has sinned against the Jews.

All this has slowed down the progress of the Kingdom in manifesting itself in blessings for the people but nobody can stop it from happening.

Although the wall of the city are Jewish, the 12 tribes, the wall is built upon the foundation of the apostles, so it is a converted Israel and they are to reign with Christ on Earth, the church having long since been raptured shall reign with Him from heaven.

Amillennialism squashes all this out, and so now the next coming of the Lord is not destroy Antichrist and his armies and to set up the kingdom. But in amillennialism the next coming of the Lord is the end of all things when the earth will be destroyed.

The BILLIONS of human souls now alive instead of being saved through the Jews [as the prophets say] are to perish ... eternally according to amillennialism.

This is what the church's message and whole heart should be toward Israel at the present time I believe.

Isaiah 62. The Living Bible.

Because I love Zion, because my heart yearns for Jerusalem I will not cease to pray for her or to cry out to God on her behalf until she shines forth in His righteousness and is glorious in His salvation.

The nations shall see your righteousness and kings shall be blinded by your glory and God shall confer on you a new name, He will hold you aloft in His hands for all to see- a splendid crown for King of kings

Never again shall you be called "the God forsaken land" or the "land that God forgot" your new name shall be "the land of God's delight" and "the Bride" for the Lord delights in you and will claim you as His own. Your children will care for you O Jerusalem with joy like that of a young man when he marries a virgin. And God will rejoice over you as a Bridegroom with His Bride.

O Jerusalem I have set intercessors on your walls who shall cry to God all day and all night and give God no rest until He establishes Jerusalem and makes her respected and admired throughout the earth.

The Lord has sworn to Jerusalem with all His integrity "I will never again give you to your enemies, never again shall foreign soldiers come and take away your grain wine, You raised and you shall keep it praising God within the temple courts, you yourselves shall drink the wine you pressed.

Go out! go out! prepare the roadway for My people to return, build the roads, pull out the boulders, raise the flag of Israel.

See the Lord has sent His messengers into every land and said "tell My people, I the Lord your God am coming to save you and will bring you many gifts and they shall be called the holy people" and "the Lord's redeemed" and Jerusalem shall be called "the land of desire" and "the city God has blessed"
