Others vehemently argue that all religions points towards one god. Exclusivity in religion is something frowned upon by relativists and liberals. If you stand for what you believe, you are tagged as a bigot.
Peoples around the world have different ways of veneration and different perceptions about god. Hence, the idea that the idea of 'god' is relegated to a cultural psyche which embraces a relativist stance on truth, instead of an ultimate knowable truth
To those who say all religions are equally true, may I ask, does that include religions which say that there is only one WAY, or does it exclude it altogether? Because if it does, then some religion may not be true because it excludes, and thus, contrary to the claim that all religions are equal. Therefore, the argument refutes itself, and is self-defeating.
And it saddens me that even Christians readily succumb to this falsehood. Due to lack of fervent ardor to defend God's Word, they compromise even what they know to be true. For the sake of convenience, tolerance, and avoidance, they unknowingly adhere to the ideas of gnosticism, which claims that humans cannot truly know the truths about God. Christianity, which became the foundation for many nations laws, decrees, and orders, is now reduced to a social gathering, a status, a religious practice, and later to a schizophrenic private endeavor.
But the BIBLE is very clear --
El Elohe, the God Almighty, through His Holy Spirit, guides us into all truth that we may be efficient harvesters in His field (earthly ministry). “[SUP]17[/SUP]He is the Holy Spirit, who leads into all truth. The world cannot receive him, because it isn’t looking for him and doesn’t recognize him.”
But we know Him, because He lives within the recesses of our hearts.
The Comforter, whom Jesus sent, enables us to stand against the wiles of the enemy, and yield as many fruit as we can because the days are evil. Our harvest is the people brought to His Kingdom. This earth we live in is headed towards its doom, so the enemy does try to trick everyone by these lies:
1. Jesus is NOT the ONLY Messiah.
2. He is NOT coming. It’s just a myth.
3. Everyone CAN BE SAVED by just being GOOD.
Salvation will be found by those who are faithfully worshiping Him in spirit and in truth. (John 4:24) Likewise, faith, is not the product of good works, but the by-product of believing in Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. It is through HIM, by HIM, and for HIM that we are given the privilege to access and work in His harvest and also learn respond to others with love and joy, as how he Jesus loved us.
John 4:38 says
“[SUP]36[/SUP]The harvesters are paid good wages, and the fruit they harvest is people brought to eternal life. What joy awaits both the planter and the harvester alike! [SUP]37[/SUP]You know the saying, ‘One plants and another harvests.’ And it’s true. [SUP]38[/SUP]I sent you to harvest where you didn’t plant; others had already done the work, and now you will get to gather the harvest.”
Violence, Indifference, Apathy, Moral Disintegration, and worse, Apostasy have been the seeds that are sown by the enemy in this earthy field. Our assignment is to pluck out every seed as much as we can, and be productive.
As his servants in His field(earthly ministry), our harvests depends on how much we care about the seed (Word of God) He has entrusted to us.
Today, there is no clear distinction between what is wrong and what is right. Twisted lies are accepted as seemingly irrevocable and convincing facts, and even those who are very elect have been deceived by false doctrines.
But let us not be discouraged. We have a HOPE, and HE will never leave us, nor forsake us.
The world will hate us, kill us, but they can never steal our joy -- the hope that we have in our Savior and Lord Jesus Christ, the Mighty One of Israel.
