Praise God for His Blessed thoughts!
This is a well approached topic, yet sometimes, we miss it.
Mary said in Lk 1:38
Behold the maidservant of the Lord! Let it be to me according to your word"
Often at times we experience circumstances where it's difficult to comprehend. Where situations are against the Will of God, hence making us doubt God's will.
In Mary's case, she would have to risk her life! Yet she agreed.
Another famous example is Abraham's obedience regarding the sacrifice of his beloved son,Isaac. He could have bargained and made excuses, could have pleaded as well, to change God's mind.
But he humbly obeyed and accepted God's will. Without any question.
Another instance is when God told Abram to depart his country, family and father's house. Gen 12
Once again he obeyed and surrendered to the will of God. He was seventy five years, think of that!
The most significant example is Jesus' acceptance in the garden of Gethsemane. Lk22:42
"Father, if it is Your will, take this cup away from Me; nevertheless not My will, but Yours, be done."
Indeed, all these acceptances to God's will only brought spiritual benefits and Godly peace! Not any harm!
May God's will be reigning in all our thoughts, intentions, words and actions!
God bless!
