I have always said 'Life is like stepping stones across a river, when you fall, never give up and let the river drown and sweep you away, start again until you find that pathway across to the other side'.
At the moment, I feel I know what I want to find on that other side, but it seems to be reaching it that is the most difficult. The wind keeps blowing me all over the place and trying to make me lose my footing on the stones. This wind, I see as the ways of the world, but I will not let it take me adrift, I will stand strong and roar at it like a lion in defiance. For I know where I stand, and thus God shall be my rock and I shall not be moved by it.
But sometimes other paths come up unexpectedly on the way to the other side of the river and you are forced to choose one or the other. These choices we cannot avoid, whether they be positive or negative, it is how we deal with them when the time comes that matters. Negativity and doubt is what Satan wants us to feel, but we must overcome with positivity and faith in God. For with God we shall overcome these obstacles.
Even when we take the next step and it lands on the smallest of stones, and the rivers rage and try to sweep us away, we will stand strong and endure, for they can be but a test to our faith and we can grow ever so stronger.
Life and faith are a journey everyone of us must complete to get to that other side, just like I, we are all faced with crossing these stepping stones over the river. May God bless you all in your journey, the one thing we must do is never give up, keep our faith in God.
As Yeshua (Jesus) said in Matthew 17:20
He replied, "Because you have so little faith. Truly I tell you, if you have faith as small as a mustard seed, you can say to this mountain, 'Move from here to there,' and it will move. Nothing will be impossible for you."
