Love; a word once filled with loyalty, trust, passion, pleasure and pain now means nothing. It's used everyday whether talking to your friends or describing something you have a strong like for. But what does love really mean? Does it even posses a meaning anymore or is it just another word america has ruined. I believe love is powerful it can make you or brake you, depending on how you use it. You can never grasp the meaning of love but you can most of the time get a understanding of what it once meant. To me love is power, and pain, beauty and empathy. Love is something not to be played with and not to be thrown around.

I agree that love has lost it's meaning. People use it to describe their favourite foods, TV program's, music etc. "I LOVE cheese", "I LOVE that song" etc. It doesn't have the depth it once had but biblical love is different. Jesus (agape) love was and is a love that passes all understanding. Even going back a few decades people only spoke of love when referring to a special person in their lives. Shame really..
