Nahum -- God is not mocked, you reap what you sow

1 A prophecy concerning Nineveh. The book of the vision of Nahum the Elkoshite. The Lord’s Anger Against Nineveh

In the book of Jonah we see an angry prophet warning the Ninevites, they repent, and God has mercy on them. But that repentance is short lived, and now Nahum tells us what is going to happen to them. Jonah is the “shot across the bow”, a warning shot. They saw a man, brought to their shores in the belly of a fish. It caused them to repent, but it was superficial, like the seed that falls on rocky soil, springs up quickly and soon withers. In Jonah God asks if his anger is right, but in Nahum we see the Lord’s righteous anger.

2 The Lord is a jealous and avenging God; the Lord takes vengeance and is filled with wrath. The Lord takes vengeance on his foes and vents his wrath against his enemies.

Our biggest problem is that to us a hundred years is a lifetime, whereas to God it is only a couple of hours. We are too quick to judge, too quick to want God’s wrath to fall on our enemies. On the other hand we also tend to think that since our God is love there never will be any wrath or any judgement. They will say, “Where is this ‘coming’ he promised? Ever since our ancestors died, everything goes on as it has since the beginning of creation.” 2Peter 3:4 Do not be deceived, Nahum is the word of God, the Lord is a jealous and avenging God.

3 The Lord is slow to anger but great in power; the Lord will not leave the guilty unpunished.

No one can study US history and not realize our history is filled with those who are guilty. They will not go unpunished. The Civil war was a punishment to the South and to the entire nation for the guilt associated with slavery. Everyone should have repented, and I suppose when the South surrendered some did. But the KKK was formed shortly after that, and Jim Crow laws were written, and the hypocrisy of “Separate but equal” was put into law. There was explicit and implicit bias. Just because the Lord has been slow to anger does not mean He is going to leave the guilty unpunished.

His way is in the whirlwind and the storm, and clouds are the dust of his feet.

Right now it is like the old saying “when it rains it pours”. We are in the midst of a pandemic, both a health crisis and an economic crisis. We are also in the midst of climate change, record breaking heat waves, droughts, fires, floods, and hurricanes. In the middle of this whirlwind and storm we see the Black Lives Matter marching down the streets, clouds of dust from them. This is the Lord’s way, it is His version of “shock and awe”. He is great in power and He is overwhelming the spiritual forces of evil.

4 He rebukes the sea and dries it up; he makes all the rivers run dry. Bashan and Carmel wither and the blossoms of Lebanon fade.

The sea and rivers were the highways of commerce. Right now international trade is drying up, perhaps down 30 even 40%. Bashan and Carmel were the best pasture lands for the fattest cows. The US is the breadbasket of the world and yet we are experiencing a mega drought. Our fields are withering. Lebanon was famous for their cedars, they were fragrant and they were used to build the ships. All of this economic strength, agricultural strength and military strength is fading. Ronald Reagan called the US the “city on the hill”, the shining light to the rest of the world. That light is fading.

5 The mountains quake before him and the hills melt away. The earth trembles at his presence, the world and all who live in it. 6 Who can withstand his indignation? Who can endure his fierce anger? His wrath is poured out like fire; the rocks are shattered before him.

There is a whole lot here. The rich and powerful build their homes in the mountains. These people are terrified. Their wealth is going to melt away and they know it. Their wealth is invested in the stock market which is now a sham, it is being propped up by the US Federal reserve printing seven trillion dollars and exchanging this for corporate debt. These companies will never be able to pay it off so at some point the US will “forgive this debt” meaning the taxpayers will one day wake up to realize they have been robbed. Meanwhile the rich are selling their investments to buy US treasuries and gold. These hills will also “melt away”. God is indignant at the insults and abuses His people have received. They have paid the same bus fare, yet they are forced to sit in the back of the bus or to give up their seat to others. God is angry at the deceitful way the banks robbed the people of their homes in the mortgage crisis. The government went along with it and then to add insult to injury made the taxpayers pay the criminals. Now God’s wrath will be poured out and it will be like fire. You can compare this current pandemic to a fire in which we run from one hotspot to another to put out the fire. Climate change will also become very real as apocalyptic fires will spread across the globe.

7 The Lord is good, a refuge in times of trouble. He cares for those who trust in him, 8 but with an overwhelming flood he will make an end of Nineveh; he will pursue his foes into the realm of darkness.

The end of this age is likened to a flood similar to the time of Noah. That flood was an overwhelming flood. I know many try to dispute the Biblical record, but the geologic record is indisputable scientific evidence. At the bottom of the Black Sea there was a town, this is because during the last ice age sea level dropped and the Black Sea was cut off from the ocean, it was a lake. This town was destroyed in this overwhelming flood when the ice age ended. In addition to that we know that massive floods came down from the highest mountains at this time, from the Himalayas and from the Rockies. These floods were more than forty feet deep and swept across India and the United States. In addition we know of at least a hundred large species that went extinct at this time on all six continents. We also have evidence that one man saved eighteen species of domesticated animals alive in a boat. We also know that at this time a large meteorite hit the Indian Ocean creating a massive tsunami and sending a tremendous amount of water up into the Stratosphere as steam only to come back down all over the world as rain. That event was a warning to us that at the end of this age God would again make an end of this evil age with “an overwhelming flood”. Only this time the flood will be fire and not water.

9 Whatever they plot against the Lord he will bring to an end; trouble will not come a second time.

Fool me once, shame on you, fool me twice shame on me. Jonah told them they would be overthrown, they repented, but it was superficial. They don’t get another chance.

10 They will be entangled among thorns and drunk from their wine; they will be consumed like dry stubble.

This is a good description of what we have seen in this pandemic. They have been entangled in thorns from the get go. The seed falling among the thorns refers to someone who hears the word, but the worries of this life and the deceitfulness of wealth choke the word, making it unfruitful. Matt 13:22 The rulers decisions concerning this virus have been choked by the worries of this life and the deceitfulness of riches. There have been scientists in China that warned about this virus a year ago, they were silenced, even killed. There was a researcher at Harvard who sounded the warning in the US in January, he was ridiculed, mocked and insulted. Why? Because of the deceitfulness of riches. Quarantines are expensive, tests are expensive. Any action they took to contain the virus would have hurt trade, it would have hurt the economy. So the statements they made not to worry, or that these warnings they were hearing were ravings of unstable people, that was “their wine” and they were drunk on it, they actually believed it. Twitter and Facebook decided to censor the official POTUS accounts that they had. Within a week they had lost $51 billion in market cap. I don't care how rich you are, you can't afford to lose $51 billion in a week. I imagine they put on a brave face and the investors are paying close attention, but if they lose another $51 billion in the second week their is going to be some real panic. They are being consumed like dry stubble in a fire.

11 From you, Nineveh, has one come forth who plots evil against the Lord and devises wicked plans.

Yes, this “one” who plots evil refers to the Antichrist who will make a peace treaty with Israel. They have all kinds of wicked plans including the “mark of the beast”.

12 This is what the Lord says: “Although they have allies and are numerous, they will be destroyed and pass away. Although I have afflicted you, Judah, I will afflict you no more.

We are seeing those who devised evil plans being exposed with documents being declassified. It is amazing at how numerous they are. Judges, officials, elected representatives, executives, CEOs, other countries, millions of spies, etc. The problem they have is everyone hates them. They rule by fear and intimidation. The things they say are incredibly stupid, so stupid that one by one reasonable people are forced to be repelled and disgusted by them. They have a lot of allies in this plan. But what we have is truth and love.

13 Now I will break their yoke from your neck and tear your shackles away.”

According to the history books this happened as a result of the Civil war (at least in the US), yet the yoke and shackles just became more subtle. It is easy to see that slavery involved a yoke and shackles, but debt does too. The entire worldly system is part of an evil age to put everyone into a yoke and shackles. The pandemic is a real virus that is very contagious and does kill people. However, the response to the pandemic has been illogical. There is plenty of evidence to show that those who contracted Covid19 did get immunity, at least for 8 months. There is also quite a bit of evidence that viruses like Covid19 are much more contagious in the winter, not because of the weather conditions outside but because people go inside. Viral load is a very big contributor to how sick you get and if you get sick at all. This is why all these outdoor protests for the last six months have not been super spreader events. All these huge rallies by Trump were not super spreader events. However, California which had one of the most draconian shutdowns is now doing worse than any other part of the country. Shut downs impose a very heavy cost in many ways, physical, emotional, mental and economic. However, they are not an effective strategy. There was an opportunity for a much more effective strategy to wipe out this pandemic this past summer that would have been good for the physical, emotional, mental, and economic health. If we had had outdoor worship, just like these rallies and marches. People could have been exposed to low level doses of the virus, high enough to develop immunity but not high enough to develop symptoms.

14 The Lord has given a command concerning you, Nineveh: “You will have no descendants to bear your name. I will destroy the images and idols that are in the temple of your gods. I will prepare your grave, for you are vile.”

You are vile, repulsive, despicable. The assassination of JFK was an inside job, that is vile. 911 was an inside job, that is vile. They made up reasons to go to war in Vietnam and then send someone else’s kids to go fight and die. That is despicable. We elect draft dodgers to be the “Commander and Chief” of the armed forces, that is repulsive. Their gods are money and power. Their idols are the “almighty dollar”. This will be destroyed. They used this virus as an excuse and a means to commit election fraud. The government leaders knowingly bankrupted their citizens to the benefit of Tech giants for their own enrichment according to the spirit of Nero. They are vile.

15 Look, there on the mountains, the feet of one who brings good news, who proclaims peace! Celebrate your festivals, Judah, and fulfill your vows. No more will the wicked invade you; they will be completely destroyed.

The destruction of this evil age is good news. It is as much the proclamation of peace as V.E. day. There have been numerous prophecies saying the US will be invaded, some are still asleep, not realizing the house is about to be robbed. We have 25,000 troops in Washington DC which is under curfew, lockdown, and martial law. Does that make sense? The riots we have seen have rarely had 1,000 people. The one in DC this month involved one person being shot by the police, none of the rioters had guns. Everything these last 12 months has been illogical unless something else is happening which God refers to here as "being invaded". If the pandemic was the first stage in an attack, the election fraud was part of that coup, the cyber attack was also part of that coup, the millions of spies revealed were part of that coup, and the trade war was precipitating the war, then it makes sense. If the first impeachment was to distract from the pandemic then this second impeachment also makes sense if it is to distract from the invasion.

2 An attacker advances against you, Nineveh. Guard the fortress, watch the road, brace yourselves, marshal all your strength! 2 The Lord will restore the splendor of Jacob like the splendor of Israel, though destroyers have laid them waste and have ruined their vines.

One prophet (Dana Coverstone) has been warning the Christians to "brace themselves" for the last 10 months. He has had prophetic dreams concerning the Pandemic (a sign in Joel of the Lord's coming) and of the protests (the sign of Jonah of the Lord's coming) and of the corruption and rottenness of the government (Nineveh is vile).

All the world leaders realize there is a war going on with this pandemic. They describe it as a battle. This attacker is advancing against us. The virus was designed in a bio weapon lab. This destroyer is laying waste to the economy and ruining our businesses. President Trump and others claim “they are winning”. The Stop the Steal rallies are claiming that there is an attacker advancing on us, trying to usurp control of the government. Elected officials are breathing out threatenings and curses against the 74 million people who voted for Trump. Censorship is being practiced. Widespread cyber attacks, and now we see 25,000 soldiers locking down Washington DC.

3 The shields of the soldiers are red; the warriors are clad in scarlet. The metal on the chariots flashes on the day they are made ready; the spears of juniper are brandished. 4 The chariots storm through the streets, rushing back and forth through the squares. They look like flaming torches; they dart about like lightning.

Very descriptive, sounds like ambulances going to and fro through the city with sirens blaring.

5 Nineveh summons her picked troops, yet they stumble on their way.

CDC, WHO, we had picked troops that were ready to fight this disease. They trained for this, they anticipated this would happen, yet they stumbled in their response. They dash to the city wall; the protective shield is put in place. They blocked traffic from China, but let 3 million in from Europe. They warned of election fraud for four years and yet allowed massive fraud with mail in ballots that were not verified. We have been concerned over cyber attacks and yet allowed the biggest breach in US history. Our CIA is supposed to identify and deal with spies from other countries and yet we allowed 2 million spies from CCP.

6 The river gates are thrown open and the palace collapses.

The river denotes our economy. Through our economy the country has been thrown open to these spies, to this pandemic, to this invader. The election fraud is causing our "palace" to collapse. We are now at 49% of the US population believes the election was rigged. Biden has no legitimacy. A house divided cannot stand.

7 It is decreed that Nineveh be exiled and carried away. As you have done, it will be done to you.

They brought slaves from Africa as exiles and carried them away to the US. Therefore it is fitting that they be carried away as exiles.

Her female slaves moan like doves and beat on their breasts. 8 Nineveh is like a pool whose water is draining away. “Stop! Stop!” they cry, but no one turns back.

That is a great illustration of what is happening. When the government prints trillions of dollars as a stimulus package it has the effect of the value of the currency to drain away like water draining from a pool. There are many people online right now crying “stop, stop” but no one dares to stop. States like California, Texas and Florida are contemplating shutting down again. People are crying out to stop, the economy will not survive if they shut down, but there is no choice.

9 Plunder the silver! Plunder the gold! The supply is endless, the wealth from all its treasures! 10 She is pillaged, plundered, stripped! Hearts melt, knees give way, bodies tremble, every face grows pale.

This is what they did to millions when they stole their houses from them during the Mortgage crisis. The mortgage crisis was the banks pillaging the US with the approval of the federal government. The Lord said before you can plunder the strong man’s house you need to first bind the strong man. The Pandemic and Climate change are binding the strong man. Their wealth and all their treasures will be plundered. Because of the pandemic commercial real estate is being hit harder than anything else. The banks are being hit with billions of dollars in defaults on mortgages that no one wants anymore.

11 Where now is the lions’ den, the place where they fed their young, where the lion and lioness went, and the cubs, with nothing to fear? 12 The lion killed enough for his cubs and strangled the prey for his mate, filling his lairs with the kill and his dens with the prey. 13 “I am against you,” declares the Lord Almighty. “I will burn up your chariots in smoke, and the sword will devour your young lions. I will leave you no prey on the earth. The voices of your messengers will no longer be heard.”

Four things: your wealth and power will be burned up into smoke, war will devour your children, you will not be able to prey on anyone anymore, and the Lord will shut your mouth. The news agencies have become a mouthpiece for those in power, no one will hear them anymore. The US used to be the “king of the jungle”. The voices of “our messengers” like CNN used to be heard around the world. It is a scary thing to hear God say “I am against you”. With the collapse of the US we will see war in Asia with China seizing Taiwan, war in the Middle East against Israel. Climate change will burn up our cars in smoke. Those that they were preying on will be taken (the Lord's coming will be like a thief, He will take the precious ones to Himself in the rapture) and CNN, Twitter, Facebook and all the "messengers" will be silenced. Boycotts and loss of trust will turn these "giants" into carcasses on the ground.

What should we do? Brace yourself.

3 Woe to the city of blood, full of lies, full of plunder, never without victims!

911 was a lie to get the people to support going to war in the Middle East to plunder the natural gas fields in Turkmenistan and the oil fields in Iraq. That event caused trillions of dollars to be diverted to building up our military, invading this region, plundering them, and leaving a multitude of victims in our wake. Dick Cheney had a secret meeting about 9 months before 911 where he said the only way to upgrade our military with the latest and greatest weapons would be another “Pearl Harbor” event.

2 The crack of whips, the clatter of wheels, galloping horses and jolting chariots! 3 Charging cavalry, flashing swords and glittering spears! Many casualties, piles of dead, bodies without number, people stumbling over the corpses—

“Shock and awe”. A description of the Gulf wars. A preview of Armageddon.

4 all because of the wanton lust of a prostitute, alluring, the mistress of sorceries, who enslaved nations by her prostitution and peoples by her witchcraft.

All of the dead just to control oil fields. War is profitable business for the military industrial complex. Billions, even trillions of dollars are spent on these wars.

5 “I am against you,” declares the Lord Almighty.

This is what it means to say “God is not mocked, whatever a man sows this shall he also reap”. You sow sorceries, witchcraft, plundering and enslaving. You will reap the same. Snowden blew the whistle on the US, it turns out that the “surveillance” of the NSA is primarily focused on the US, not on terrorists, not on Russia, but on US citizens. They know that when their sins are revealed the ones they most need to fear are the US citizens. What they missed is that the one they really need to fear is God. He has declared that He is “against them”. “I will lift your skirts over your face. I will show the nations your nakedness and the kingdoms your shame. Do you know why the investment banks were so sure that the government would bail them out and claim “they were too big to fail”? It is because they knew their shame, the dark secrets of 911. That attack was an inside job to manipulate the taxpayer and voter into giving them a blank check. God is going to lift the skirt up from this shameful deed. Everyone will see how vile they are.

6 I will pelt you with filth, I will treat you with contempt and make you a spectacle.

The judgement on Jezebel was that the dogs would eat her by the pool where the prostitutes wash. “The pool where the prostitutes wash” is a good description of the media. The dogs are a good description of reporters when they smell blood. In a similar fashion when scandals are revealed in the news it is like pelting them with filth, treating them with contempt and making them a spectacle.

7 All who see you will flee from you and say, ‘Nineveh is in ruins—who will mourn for her?’ Where can I find anyone to comfort you?” 8 Are you better than Thebes, situated on the Nile, with water around her? The river was her defense, the waters her wall. 9 Cush and Egypt were her boundless strength; Put and Libya were among her allies. 10 Yet she was taken captive and went into exile. Her infants were dashed to pieces at every street corner. Lots were cast for her nobles, and all her great men were put in chains. 11 You too will become drunk; you will go into hiding and seek refuge from the enemy.

We have seen this time and time again. Ancient Egypt, Greek Empire, Roman Empire, Babylonian Empire, MesoPersian empire. If you imitate them, the things that made them strong, the allies that made them feel secure; then it only stands to reason you will end up like them as well. Do not be deceived. Whatever a man sows, this shall he also reap.

12 All your fortresses are like fig trees with their first ripe fruit; when they are shaken, the figs fall into the mouth of the eater. 13 Look at your troops— they are all weaklings. The gates of your land are wide open to your enemies; fire has consumed the bars of your gates.

Why is it that the majority of our essential workers are minorities? They don’t have good health plans, many are overweight, have diabetes and asthma. You abused these people for years, and now when you need them most they fall like ripe figs.

14 Draw water for the siege, strengthen your defenses! Work the clay, tread the mortar, repair the brickwork!

Why were we short of personal protective equipment? We didn’t have enough masks, didn’t have enough ICU beds. The shutdown in April was supposed to give us a chance to prepare for the siege, to strengthen our defenses.

15 There the fire will consume you; the sword will cut you down— they will devour you like a swarm of locusts. Multiply like grasshoppers, multiply like locusts!

This virus is multiplying like locusts. On March 15th NY shut down their school system. At that time NY State had 740 cases. Now in July the President is demanding the schools reopen. NY has 427,000 cases. On March 15th the US had 3,600 cases. Today they have 3,400,000 cases. The virus is multiplying like locusts.

16 You have increased the number of your merchants till they are more numerous than the stars in the sky, but like locusts they strip the land and then fly away.

40 million unemployed. Bankruptcies of these merchants are falling like dominoes. You have no choice, the only way to stop the bodies from piling up is to close down the merchants. Shopping malls are being stripped, they will fly away.

17 Your guards are like locusts, your officials like swarms of locusts that settle in the walls on a cold day—but when the sun appears they fly away, and no one knows where. 18 King of Assyria, your shepherds slumber; your nobles lie down to rest. Your people are scattered on the mountains with no one to gather them. 19 Nothing can heal you; your wound is fatal. All who hear the news about you clap their hands at your fall, for who has not felt your endless cruelty?

Judgement without mercy will be shown to anyone who has not been merciful. James 2:13. If you act cruelly, you will be judged cruelly. We have tried lockdowns, social distancing, face masks. NY has been more serious about this than any other state. It took us 4 months to return the numbers to where they were when we first shut down the state. But while NY has seemingly been “healed” the rest of the country is on fire. We have more cases now than ever, they have grown exponentially. Millions of people travel through NY every month. Truck drivers, trains, commuters, airplanes; all of these travelers will reignite the fire the minute we loosen our grip on the shutdown. The problem is not just the other 36 states that have hotspots. Mexico, Brazil and India are also seeing this virus grow exponentially. After 8 million people had gotten it worldwide we were already aware of 14 different strains and one of them was more contagious than all the others. These mutations occur at a predictable rate, just like throwing dice. At the current rate of new cases every day worldwide we can predict one new strain every three days. Even if a vaccine is developed and administered in the US to hundreds of millions it won’t matter. By that time we’ll have 100 new strains. Recent research indicates that immunity is short lived and people can become reinfected. Therefore between the new strains and the loss of immunity there will not be any “herd immunity”. It is going to be a cruel judgement, a fatal wound. Everyone will be scattered. Even if they try to reopen schools they will be forced to shut them down again.

The State department released a fact sheet on the Pandemic on January 15th. It presents the evidence that this Pandemic originated in a bio weapons lab.

You can argue that it was released inadvertently. In other words blame the scientists not the CCP.

However, you cannot dispute the facts:

1. China hid the fact that this virus was out and they knew its origin. Not only so but they spread disinformation about the origin.
2. China fought against anyone closing travel to and from them.
3. China bought up all the PPE around the world (in 60 days they went from being an exporter to an importer of this). This is why countries around the world had a shortage of PPE when the virus hit.
4. China did everything in their power to prevent the truth getting out about the virus, blackballing scientists who dared speak the truth and hiding what they knew about the genome.
5. Generally if you make a bioweapon you also make an antidote for yourself. This could explain why China was the first country to have a vaccine.
