Ezekiel 13- talks of entrance of gate/inner court face N = jealousy and provoke jealousy.

2 kings 23:13 king , and Solomon (about) build on a south hill of corruption vile goddess and vile God

question is-- are these the basis for when kings come from N, S, E ( own spiritual destruction ) of invade or destroy

The Canaanites had all sorts of pagan beliefs. But the temple was designed to focus worship on the only true God.
