pray for the real heroes that ask for nothing!

who put there lives on the line each day for others, the ones who fight for life in the storms, fires, floods, disasters of human error capsized boats, plane crashes etc etc..pray for those who have lost everything, family, home..pray for the lord to take care of them and give them comfort.

pray for all who suffer in disease or disability where they have been deemed not good enough for the world, and no one cares..pray that God will inspire there hearts to be everything they dream of..pray for the doctors and nurses who care for the ailing, and hold the hands of the forgotten and think of someone other than themselves..

Once or twice I wrote Oprah Winfrey with a proposal that reads something like this, why don't all movie stars, sports figures, musicians, any rich person that the cost of their wardrobe alone could feed a small town, give a years worth of there entire net worth to eradicate any given malady in the world, example..baseball players make silly amonts of money for hitting a ball with a stick and running around, yet there are those out of work, homeless, and hungry? can you wrap your head around a child that has no home, or food? I'm sorry I cannot. it's just the world it seems, where many people are " what's mine is mine" I know many do a lot, but the gap has grown deeper between people, those that have more want more,and those that have none just want survive! as you might imagine I never heard a word back as of yet, I just thought if everyone did there part it could become a movement and this world might change for the better, after all the world is only as good as the hearts of those who populate it..

I probably shouldn't say all that much, but celebrities are sort of going through their own type of 'hell' and many things that bring the gossips or show-offs are sort of forced onto them. While you're right that it shouldn't stop them and many are probably greedy, in the end it's really all about the publicity and how they get presented as which is why they're on show to begin with. We as a population make up for the celebrities standards. I'd suggest to look up the video TED why we gossip to get a basic idea of that.

Just like if we were to stop a weeks worth funds for war, world hunger can pretty much be demolished. But again, people want to focus on the public and their overall views make up for these wars to happen and greed to stir up for wars to happen while others sit back and watch.

Overall I like this entry. Something to think about.
