Wanted to share something that happened back in 2011 (for God's glory)....

I was in NY and had plans to fly home the next day. Since it was the day before thanksgiving, all flights were booked up, so I really couldn't miss mine.

I was super tired and dozed off into a sleep, without setting my alarm. Just so you know, I'm hopeless at getting up early, especially with no alarm. Not good.

So the following morning, while I was still sleeping, I heard a very strong voice, with what sounded like rushing water, and it said "awake" and I instantly sat up in bed. I checked my phone frantically and it was the exact time I needed to wake up! Amazing. Would not like to confirm it was God's voice, but it got my attention and I made my flight! :)

Edit: Only just paid attention to some scriptures that do actually refer to God in this way! This is exactly what I heard!.........

Rev 14:2: "And I heard a voice from heaven, like the voice of many waters, and like the voice of loud thunder"

Ezekiel 43:1-2: Then the man brought me to the gate facing east, and I saw the glory of the God of Israel coming from the east. His voice was like the roar of rushing waters, and the land was radiant with his glory.

Rev 1:15: "His feet were like bronze glowing in a furnace, and His voice was like the sound of rushing waters" (Jesus)

**I don't personally ever use that word "awake" in conversation, nor does anyone I know, but I noticed it is used a lot in the scriptures**
