Ah, yes. I think many of us can, without a doubt, say that we worry a lot. Does God have a plan for me? Will I ever find love? Is there a job out there for me? Is God even listening??? Etc..
The list goes on!
Isn't it amazing that we worship the one who created the planets, stars, trees, and breathed life upon the earth - and yet we still underestimate His power? If we don't see an immediate response, all hope is lost. We automatically give up on God and life and say, "God, why don't you listen?"
The problem with that question is, why can't we just be patient? God knows what the future holds and sees things that we cannot.
Ever since I was 5 years old, I had desired a dog more than anything. I would pray to God and ask my parents, continuously, for a dog. My mom was against the idea for many reasons: 1. Pet smell 2. Shedding 3. Money 4. Pet Sitters. She held her opinion with a tight grip. It was impossible to make her change her mind.
Well,God must have saw something I didn't. Last year my long time prayers were answered! My mom, miraculously, warmed up to the idea and I got my dog. It was a giant leap for us. God had that little, wonderful ball of fur made especially for us. He is everything I prayed for! Long ears, acts like a human and is very patient.
Guys, God's love is beautiful. It truly is. What an amazing God we serve! I didn't need a dog, but God blessed me with one anyways. He cared for my unimportant desire.
"Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen." - Hebrews 11:1
Just because things are taking time, doesn't mean nothing is happening! Don't let Satan whisper words of lies into your ears.
Have faith, my friend! As cliche as it is, God really does have a plan for you. Whether that plan is to be a mailman, mom or doctor- we are all called to something in life!
"Therefore I say unto you, What things soever ye desire, when ye pray, believe that ye receive them, and ye shall have them." - Mark 11:24
