Group think chapter 4

4:1 From whence come wars and fightings among you? come they not hence, even of your lusts that war in your members? 2 Ye lust, and have not: ye kill, and desire to have, and cannot obtain: ye fight and war, yet ye have not, because ye ask not. 3 Ye ask, and receive not, because ye ask amiss, that ye may consume it upon your lusts.
4 Ye adulterers and adulteresses, know ye not that the friendship of the world is enmity with God? whosoever therefore will be a friend of the world is the enemy of God.

This is the problem, you want to be a friend of the world and that makes you an enemy of God. You have to say certain verses in the bible are no longer relevant, you have to compromise with atheists, unbelievers and satanists. You give them your children to teach. You let them govern your country and run the businesses that hire and fire you.

5 Do ye think that the scripture saith in vain, The spirit that dwelleth in us lusteth to envy? 6 But he giveth more grace. Wherefore he saith, God resisteth the proud, but giveth grace unto the humble. 7 Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you.

There are many verses on this, how exactly do we resist the devil? John the Baptist preached the gospel of remission of sins, that means to cut back, stop funding the sins. If the school system is sinning pull your kids out, move to a different school district so that you are not funding these schools. Jesus said that we should not think that He came to give peace on the earth but a sword. The word of God is a sword that cuts off the flesh. If they reject you in this city saying you have to be vaccinated or else you are fired then leave that city and go to a city that welcomes you. Cut off the flesh.

8 Draw nigh to God, and he will draw nigh to you. Cleanse your hands, ye sinners; and purify your hearts, ye double minded. 9 Be afflicted, and mourn, and weep: let your laughter be turned to mourning, and your joy to heaviness. 10 Humble yourselves in the sight of the Lord, and he shall lift you up.

Double minded, with one mind they want to worship the Lord in peace, with the other mind they want the high paying job with the company car and membership to the club.

11 Speak not evil one of another, brethren. He that speaketh evil of his brother, and judgeth his brother, speaketh evil of the law, and judgeth the law: but if thou judge the law, thou art not a doer of the law, but a judge. 12 There is one lawgiver, who is able to save and to destroy: who art thou that judgest another?

This works both ways. Don't speak evil of those who are vaccinated and don't speak evil of those who refuse to be vaccinated. Don't speak evil of blacks and don't speak evil of whites. Don't speak evil of those who vote for one person and don't speak evil for those who vote for another person.

13 Go to now, ye that say, To day or to morrow we will go into such a city, and continue there a year, and buy and sell, and get gain: 14 Whereas ye know not what shall be on the morrow. For what is your life? It is even a vapour, that appeareth for a little time, and then vanisheth away. 15 For that ye ought to say, If the Lord will, we shall live, and do this, or that. 16 But now ye rejoice in your boastings: all such rejoicing is evil.

"Drain the swamp" that is boasting, what you should say is "if the Lord wills we will drain the swamp". "$6.5 trillion dollar stimulus bill" once again boasting unless you say "if the Lord wills".

17 Therefore to him that knoweth to do good, and doeth it not, to him it is sin.

Not everyone knows to do good. Take the vaccine, if you don't know that there is anything wrong with taking it then it is not sin that you took it. There are people who claim it is the mark of the beast yet the word is very clear everyone will know that it is wrong to get that. It will be sin to get that. Right now what everyone knows is that we are to "do unto others as we would have them do to you". If you don't want others making healthcare decisions for you then you should not be mandating health care decisions for others.

Jude 1-8 -- This is what it is to contend for the Faith

1 Jude, a servant of Jesus Christ and a brother of James, To those who have been called, who are loved in God the Father and kept for Jesus Christ: 2 Mercy, peace and love be yours in abundance. 3 Dear friends, although I was very eager to write to you about the salvation we share, I felt compelled to write and urge you to contend for the faith that was once for all entrusted to God’s holy people.

I recently heard Dana Coverstone share another dream of his and I think it was directly related to this. They were urging people to contend for the faith and instead they just watched. Also they were urged to cross the silver line which I understand to indicate salvation. Instead they were slaughtered by dark forces. Recently it has become very obvious to me that there are many Christians that hope they will not have to “contend for the faith”. They think that if there is friction between the world and the church that we should be “meek” and “mild”, “longsuffering” and “patient”. Preaching the gospel and more to the point, preaching righteousness is provocative and “as much as is possible we should be at peace with all people”.

That all sounds very spiritual and even Biblical. The problem is that it is not possible to compromise with the faith or with sin. Not only so but if we see sin and say nothing then we will be held accountable. We are not talking about gossip, backbiting, murmuring, or slander. The context is the faith that was once for all entrusted to God’s holy people. So then, if we are talking about your cousin, or your neighbor do not apply this fellowship to that situation. On the other hand if we are indeed talking about the faith that was once for all entrusted to us, then this chapter is urging us to contend for it. The violent take the kingdom by force. We will not be threatened or intimidated to give up one inch of this faith, we will not compromise with the the Faith.

4 For certain individuals whose condemnation was written about long ago have secretly slipped in among you.

This has been a recurring theme in his dreams with dark ninja-like warriors slipping in among those who were spectators and in other dreams described them as wolves with red eyes. It is time to wake up. They have slipped in among our churches, among our teachers, among our politicians, among those that make the movies or present the news.

They are ungodly people, who pervert the grace of our God into a license for immorality and deny Jesus Christ our only Sovereign and Lord.

Christians have been condemned repeatedly for being sexist and for being judgmental towards homosexuals. Ridiculed for questioning the theory of evolution, and pressured to open up to all religions as all worshipping the same God. “A license for immorality”. In the schools the law is being changed so that a boy can use a girl’s bathroom and if a teacher or supervisor were to complain they will be fired. Everyone in the inner city knows that we must patrol the stairwells and make sure no classroom is left unlocked because teenagers are looking for an opening for immorality. This new law is the license they have sought. Boys can now go into the girls bathroom and have sex and if a teacher objects they will be fired.

5 Though you already know all this, I want to remind you that the Lord at one time delivered his people out of Egypt, but later destroyed those who did not believe.

One of God’s goals in that deliverance was that the Egyptians would know that He is God. Likewise at the end of this age everyone will know that Jesus is Lord and savior. Jude’s point here is not so much about the deliverance as it is about those who did not believe being destroyed. These ones secretly creep in because the worst thing for them is to shine the light on them and expose them. We are called not merely to preach the gospel of salvation but also to contend for the faith. In a nutshell the faith is that Jesus is Lord, every knee will bow, and you need to do what He says. We do not bow the knee to ungodly people who creep in are condemned, and try to pervert the grace of God.

6 And the angels who did not keep their positions of authority but abandoned their proper dwelling—these he has kept in darkness, bound with everlasting chains for judgment on the great Day.

The book of Enoch goes into great detail on what happened when they fell, were judged, and were bound. This is what we will see if we are being attentive, they did not keep their position of authority but abandoned their proper dwelling. For example, the Attorney General is threatening legal action against the audit in Arizona. He has no authority over the audit in Arizona. The US constitution is very clear that elections are under local jurisdiction, not federal. The AG’s “proper dwelling” is the constitution but he is abandoning that.

7 In a similar way, Sodom and Gomorrah and the surrounding towns gave themselves up to sexual immorality and perversion. They serve as an example of those who suffer the punishment of eternal fire.

We are given several historical examples for our admonition concerning the end of this age. One example of course is Noah, when they entered the ark and closed the door then the rain came and destroyed the then known world. A second example is Egypt, one plague after another, each becoming more and more severe, until Pharaoh thrust the Israelites out of Egypt. Once again the crossing of the Red Sea while Pharaoh’s armies were destroyed is quite symbolic. Another example is Sodom and Gomorrah, the day Lot left God rained fire down on the cities. It is very easy to see that there are many in the US who have given themselves up to sexual immorality and perversion. The Music awards show should have been X rated. It was on prime time TV and yet a major act in the presentation of the awards was a lesbian sex scene. Fornication is confusion and that is what we have today. Who knows how many “genders” they have now. What started out as people condemning hate crimes and human rights abuses against people who were LGTBQ to the US embassy flying the Gay Pride flag! What happened, as Christians we condemn abusive behavior towards anyone, that doesn’t mean we want to fly a Gay Pride flag over our house or over our country.

8 In the very same way, on the strength of their dreams these ungodly people pollute their own bodies, reject authority and heap abuse on celestial beings.

The ungodly people are acting in the very same way as the angels that fell. If they heap abuse on you as you share the gospel know that this has all been prophesied. For some the gospel is a sweet fragrance of life unto life. For others it is the smell of judgement unto condemnation. Every time we turn around someone is heaping abuse on someone else. I watch a video of a teacher heaping abuse on a small boy around 5 years old because she made cupcakes that were only for those who identified as gay and he identified as straight. We are watching protests all over the country where they reject authority.

Warning: posting this link is not evidence that I agree or support this theory. I have heard people who said Prince Charles would be the antichrist and gave many Biblical reasons why, I have heard others say that Trump was and now we have someone else saying that Obama is. Obviously 2/3 of these are wrong and it is possible that all three are wrong.

However, I think it is important for a blog dedicated to what is being spoken concerning the rapture that this is included because it would be a glaring hole in what is being shared if it isn't.

"We are now going to begin a seven year journey" Pope.

I was recently discussing some of these current events with others and their response was that they don't read anything from this person, that person or the other person. The only news they accept is from mainstream media which they consider credible journalists. Imagine this, CNN counts as "mainstream media" even though this last month none of their shows cracked 800,000 viewers. Steve Bannon is a right wing nut who they will not listen to even though his podcast exceeds 100,000,000 downloads! It occurred to me that they are like those in Jericho behind the walls. They were behind walls, not windows. They had no idea what was going on outside of the walls, all they know is what those on top of the wall tell them (CNN, NY Times, etc). They don't realize that the result of the pandemic shutting down the economy is that the Christians have left the wilderness, they have crossed the Jordan river, and they have been circumcised, cutting off the flesh. They are creating new platforms, new places to get the news and as a result the "mainstream" sites have seen a 80% drop in their ratings. They don't realize that the walls of censorship around their little city are about to fall. I told these guys that they have no idea what is going on with 50% of the country, they are clueless about what is happening.

The fact is that Arizona, Wisconsin, Georgia and Pennsylvania all have presented credible evidence sufficient to decertify the election or at the very least justify a forensic audit.

The fact is that around the country people have woken up to vaccine mandates being dictatorial, schools systems being evil, and Biden being corrupt. Already Biden's stimulus package is 33% of what he originally wanted and if the Va election goes bad who knows if even that will pass. Meanwhile Trump is holding rallies that are huge compared to horrible ratings for town halls that Biden is holding. He is incredibly unpopular nationwide, not just among blue collar workers and rural people but even among young people, rap stars, NBA players, and even many left wing entertainers are waking up like Bill Maher and Dave Chapelle.

It is stunning to me how there are still some completely in the dark thinking that CNN is mainstream while Bannon is not. When the walls collapse that will be a very big shock to this cursed city of Jericho.

Jude 9-13 These people slander whatever they do not understand

9 But even the archangel Michael, when he was disputing with the devil about the body of Moses, did not himself dare to condemn him for slander but said, “The Lord rebuke you!”

We need to be careful. It is possible to overreact to their rejection of authority with our own insubordination. Jesus is Lord, not us. We are not in a position to judge, only to preach the saving grace that still operates. You do not need to compromise with someone who is ungodly and yet in authority. Learn from Michael, they are not the Lord, Jesus is Lord. I read today that every Republican that voted to impeach Trump is now being primaried. They were shocked, they had no idea they would be held accountable. But the fact is they are our elected “representatives” and if they do not represent us then they will be removed, just like Liz Cheney was.

10 Yet these people slander whatever they do not understand, and the very things they do understand by instinct—as irrational animals do—will destroy them.

Slanderers, not only so, but ignorant of what it is they are slandering. They are acting irrationally in a way that is very destructive not only to others but to themselves as well. They tear down statues of Lincoln and Teddy Roosevelt. Lincoln said that if he could have avoided the Civil War he would have let the South continue with slavery. You can’t take that quote out of the context of history, he campaigned on no slavery in the free states and no more slave states added. It had become apparent to the South that slavery could not compete with the industrialized North. The South knew that they had to have the North work with them on slavery or else their economy would collapse. Lincoln knew it too. His point was not that there was any possibility that he would have had slavery but rather that it was not his fault they had a civil war. His point was that the South was fully to blame and was guilty for the blood shed during that war. Then their issue with Teddy Roosevelt is even more irrational. There is a statue out front of the Museum of Natural History that shows Roosevelt on a horse with a Native American and an African man standing next to him. These two figures are personifying the continents of North America and Africa because the museum houses a vast array of animals from these two continents. Teddy Roosevelt is there because he was a world famous naturalist and the one most responsible for collecting the Museum’s specimens. This has nothing to do with racism or any abusive practices, it has to do with the natural history of these two continents.

11 Woe to them! They have taken the way of Cain; they have rushed for profit into Balaam’s error; they have been destroyed in Korah’s rebellion.

It is as though all the negative examples throughout history are all on display today. Cain killed his brother out of jealousy. For what? Because his business selling sheep and wool was outperforming Cain’s business selling vegetables and fruit? Greed, envy, jealousy, hatred all expressed by Cain. Balaam is more subtle. A professional prophet, a prophet for hire. Like the “fake news” agencies. We don’t have to shoot you, instead slander your business and we can kill you that way. We can’t be obvious, we hire someone known to be faithful to tell us God’s word and let him show us how to do it. The cigarette companies hired a PR firm that pushed the idea that “we don’t know” that cigarettes are addictive. It was a lie and when it got exposed they all went down the tubes. The NFL hired the same firm to teach them to say we don’t know that football causes brain injuries. And now we see those caught up in Korah’s rebellion, trying to rebel against God’s law, against His word, against the church His representative on the earth. Today the churches are the embassies of the kingdom of the heavens. But in country after country they violate the sovereignty of that embassy. It will provoke sudden destruction from the Lord.

12 These people are blemishes at your love feasts, eating with you without the slightest qualm—shepherds who feed only themselves. They are clouds without rain, blown along by the wind; autumn trees, without fruit and uprooted—twice dead. 13 They are wild waves of the sea, foaming up their shame; wandering stars, for whom blackest darkness has been reserved forever.

You don’t just see them as leaders of corporations, PR firms, and governments. They have also infected the church. Shepherds who only feed themselves with their “prosperity gospel”. Clouds without rain, that is a politician who gets elected on a platform of lies. Biden promised to forgive college loans, that was an empty promise. Harris promised to do away with the human rights abuses at the border, an empty promise. They are blown by the wind, whatever the radical left wants they do. It seems nothing is too radical for them. Biden looks like an autumn tree, a tree who has lost all its leaves. What are his “roots”? He doesn’t have any, there is nothing that he stands for, nothing that you can say that is what he cares about. Omar going on and on about how the US is a terrorist nation, she is wild waves of the sea foaming out her shame.

Rumors of War Q and QAnon

About 4 years ago someone going the name Q began dropping intelligence drops. These were cryptic messages that indicated 911 was an open case, Hillary Clinton was a target of investigation, and Durham was on the case. Although the messages were cryptic they all were based on factual things that could be examined. There is plenty of evidence out there that 911 was an inside job, that Hillary Clinton was involved in criminal behavior and that Durham was investigating this. Sure enough Durham has some indictments that clearly indicate he is investigating Clinton and it was recently revealed that Baker is acting as a witness which certainly could refer to 911.

However there is also something called QAnon, which really is not a thing. There is something called Anon and by lumping Anon with Q it implies the two are connected. QAnon has things that cannot be verified and have no evidentiary trail. Things like Biden has been executed and the Biden you see on TV is a clone. These are bizarre claims without basis in fact and are designed to make anyone buying into this sound like a nut.

There is a "tell" just like in poker. If you go onto Youtube you will find many of these QAnon sites. It is as though they sprinkle the ground with these bread crumbs the way you would if you were trying to catch birds. You won't find any posts from Q but you will find many from QAnon.

The Lord said "out of the abundance of the heart the mouth speaks". You can see the heart from what they are speaking. I have made several conclusions from this:

1. Q is very different from QAnon.

2. QAnon is called that to pretend that they are associated with Q.

3. If Q was a nut there would be no need for a disinformation campaign. However, QAnon is in my opinion a disinformation campaign designed to discredit Q.

4. Therefore I also conclude that QAnon is a deep state operation and it can be viewed as the deep state telling you that Q is legitimate and they are afraid that you will listen to and believe them.

So then, the real question to me is "why"? Not why do we have QAnon, I think that is simply an attempt to discredit Q, my question is why do we have Q? This leads to the really big question and explains what is really going on here. Do they have evidence to convict some people of treason? I think so. However, do they know the entire scope of the treason? It may very well have been one goal of this whole Q drop to get them to talk to one another whether through phones, emails, texts, or even meet in person. In one sense the Q drops were for the deep state to provoke them to react and in so doing they are building a very big case with the entire web of interactions. The beauty of the NSA is they record everything. The minute I see Hillary Clinton contact some person they can go into the way back machine and check all the communications of that person. The second reason is for us. If you come out one day and say there is this big conspiracy against the American people and against democracy it would be a shock. You want people to see it first. Otherwise they would think the real conspiracy are those going after the conspirators.

In other words the goal is very similar to the gospel. We are not afraid that the demons here our gospel, they can hear it and tremble. Still, even the Lord preached the gospel to the demons. However, the other goal of the gospel is to be a light to the gentiles.

But what I really appreciate about all this is the prophecy that "rumors of war" would be a sign of the Lord's coming. The satanic forces are outnumbered. They cannot defeat us with a head on power play, so they have to lie, they have to hide in the grass, they have to behave in a deceitful way. This prophecy was the Lord telling us He knows exactly what the situation would be at the end of the age and we can see it being fulfilled in front of our eyes.

Group think chapter 5a

5 Now listen, you rich people, weep and wail because of the misery that is coming on you. 2 Your wealth has rotted, and moths have eaten your clothes. 3 Your gold and silver are corroded. Their corrosion will testify against you and eat your flesh like fire. You have hoarded wealth in the last days. 4 Look! The wages you failed to pay the workers who mowed your fields are crying out against you. The cries of the harvesters have reached the ears of the Lord Almighty. 5 You have lived on earth in luxury and self-indulgence. You have fattened yourselves in the day of slaughter. 6 You have condemned and murdered the innocent one, who was not opposing you.

You need to wake up, everyone will have to appear before the Lord and make account for everything they have done. The rich are proud and arrogant that they are wiser and smarter than the rest, yet if they are honest they are responsible for an economy that is collapsing right around them. Also if they are honest they have hoarded wealth and failed to pay wages, When people did blow the whistle on them they condemned. When we do open their books we learn they killed innocent ones that had done nothing against these corporate oligarchs.

Patience in Suffering
7 Be patient, then, brothers and sisters, until the Lord’s coming. See how the farmer waits for the land to yield its valuable crop, patiently waiting for the autumn and spring rains. 8 You too, be patient and stand firm, because the Lord’s coming is near. 9 Don’t grumble against one another, brothers and sisters, or you will be judged. The Judge is standing at the door!

We are a crop growing, when we are ripe we will be harvested. The crop is of "sons of God", "men of faith", those who like the Lord "take up their cross and follow Him" and they "love not their life unto death".

10 Brothers and sisters, as an example of patience in the face of suffering, take the prophets who spoke in the name of the Lord. 11 As you know, we count as blessed those who have persevered. You have heard of Job’s perseverance and have seen what the Lord finally brought about. The Lord is full of compassion and mercy.

Look at the example, this is how we should stand. We will be attacked, and in the face of suffering we need to speak in the name of the Lord. We bless others who persevere in the face of these attacks, they are the example for us. Job shows us that being righteous does not prevent us from being the focus of Satan's jealous attack. We need to go on from there to learn about exercising God's dominion over the earth, over the demons, over the fallen man.

12 Above all, my brothers and sisters, do not swear—not by heaven or by earth or by anything else. All you need to say is a simple “Yes” or “No.” Otherwise you will be condemned.

This whole book is about group think, about cults, and the worst thing cults do is demand the pledge of allegiance to their leader. James is telling us above all not to do that. The equivalent with the Antichrist is the mark of the beast. With the Nazis you joined the Nazi party and they gave you a pin to wear. In other countries you join the communist party. One way or another cult leaders demand that you swear an oath to them. Don't do it. Stand firm, speak in the Lord's name and remember we consider those that persevere tribulation to be blessed.

My experience

I have had some miraculous experiences of being delivered by the Lord's grace. Angels making sure I didn't dash my foot against a stone. I can think of four very miraculous events. Two I should have been killed, one I might have survived but should have been in very bad shape in intensive care, and one I should have broken a few bones. In all four cases I walked away without a scratch, without any injury at all despite others looking on in disbelief.

My point is, have a backbone, be a man, speak for the Lord in the Lord's name. They can threaten to hurt me but nothing would be worse than the threats of violence and death the Lord has already brought me through.

Conquering group think part B

The Prayer of Faith
13 Is anyone among you in trouble? Let them pray. Is anyone happy? Let them sing songs of praise. 14 Is anyone among you sick? Let them call the elders of the church to pray over them and anoint them with oil in the name of the Lord. 15 And the prayer offered in faith will make the sick person well; the Lord will raise them up. If they have sinned, they will be forgiven. 16 Therefore confess your sins to each other and pray for each other so that you may be healed. The prayer of a righteous person is powerful and effective.

Job was a righteous man, that is what we learn in chapter 1. He had to go through all that trial to learn that the prayer of a righteous man is powerful and effective. He called all his useless friends and they preached to him. What he needed was the prayer of a righteous man. Step 1 we learn the power of speaking in the Lord's name, step 2 we learn the power and effectiveness of the prayer of a righteous man.

17 Elijah was a human being, even as we are. He prayed earnestly that it would not rain, and it did not rain on the land for three and a half years. 18 Again he prayed, and the heavens gave rain, and the earth produced its crops.

If it were me I'd talk about Elijah calling down fire from heaven. But think about this, today I pray that it doesn't rain and it doesn't rain. No one thinks anything of it. I do that again, and again, and again. After a month we have a slight drought. No one is going to be happy hearing me pray for there to be no rain. After six months there will be government edicts about conserving water and there will be pastors calling on their churches to pray for rain. I will be seen as evil or horrible to be praying for no rain. After a year I will become a hated and despised person. After three years they will want to kill me. Maybe for the first six months they ignored me, then for the next year they tried to ignore me while they prayed for rain, and then for the next year and a half they couldn't ignore me so they slandered and attacked me. This isn't the way the world presents prayer as getting your wish granted, this is the life of prayer. Elijah must have had a forehead made of flint. I suspect 90% of the people disagreed with him vocally or said nothing at all. There were probably very few people with the courage to step out publicly and defend Elijah or take a similar stand. This is what it is like to overcome groupthink.

19 My brothers and sisters, if one of you should wander from the truth and someone should bring that person back, 20 remember this: Whoever turns a sinner from the error of their way will save them from death and cover over a multitude of sins.

Wow I love the way he does this. Elijah stood alone while the entire nation wandered from the truth and he alone stood for the truth, not like the friends of Job with their gospel of condemnation but by prayer. Then James tells us that if you help turn one person back to the truth it is just like what Elijah did. It is like seeing a gold medal weight lifter and then saying hey, if you work with these five pound dumbbells it is the same thing. We don't start out as Elijah, you have to build up to that. But it doesn't matter, which is more one person lifting 1,000 pounds or ten people lifting a hundred pounds or a hundred people lifting ten pounds each? This is how we overcome group think, one person at a time speaking, praying, turning one person back to the truth at a time.

The gates of hell will not prevail against the church that the Lord has built up

for you know very well that the day of the Lord will come like a thief in the night.

The Lord Almighty is the one you are to fear

Isaiah 8:12 “Do not call conspiracy
everything this people calls a conspiracy;
do not fear what they fear,
and do not dread it.
13 The Lord Almighty is the one you are to regard as holy,
he is the one you are to fear,
he is the one you are to dread.

Pray for those who despitefully use you

Luke 6:28 Bless them that curse you, and pray for them which despitefully use you.

What would you pray?

The Lord said to pray "forgive us our debts, as we forgive our debtors". Surely we should pray that they would be forgiven.

The Lord said The harvest truly is great, but the labourers are few: pray ye therefore the Lord of the harvest, that he would send forth labourers into his harvest.

We could pray that they would be used of the Lord to send forth labourers into the harvest.

Contrast our prayer with the hypocrites

Matthew 21:13 And said unto them, It is written, My house shall be called the house of prayer; but ye have made it a den of thieves.

The world has been made into a den of thieves. Our response should be to make the church in to a house of prayer.

Matthew 6:5 And when thou prayest, thou shalt not be as the hypocrites are: for they love to pray standing in the synagogues and in the corners of the streets, that they may be seen of men. Verily I say unto you, They have their reward.

Hypocrites pray to be seen of men, we should pray to be seen of God (think of Job)

Matthew 6:7 But when ye pray, use not vain repetitions, as the heathen do: for they think that they shall be heard for their much speaking.

Hypocrites think that God will hear them because of their "much" speaking, we need to have faith that God will hear us because of our right speaking. We are praying that God's name would be hallowed and His will would be done.

Matthew 23:14 Woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! for ye devour widows' houses, and for a pretence make long prayer: therefore ye shall receive the greater damnation.

Hypocrites pray for a pretense, we pray for salvation

Revelation 3:3 Remember therefore how thou hast received and heard, and hold fast, and repent. If therefore thou shalt not watch, I will come on thee as a thief, and thou shalt not know what hour I will come upon thee.
