Zechariah 13 I have been crucified with Christ

In the previous chapter we saw the mourning with men on one side and women on the other. This is reminiscent of Mount Sinai where God commanded them to make themselves correct and to not come near a woman. The Hebrew means to not put yourself in the position to sin. To not be in a position to sin is to be in a position to know the truth. But what happened? They made a golden calf and then the men and women began to dance, to flirt, to make frivolous with one another. They disobeyed this commandment. In the previous chapter we had king (David), prophet (Nathan) and priest (house of Levi) and finally those from the house of Shimei (the last family in order of the house of Levi) and then all the people.

1 In that day there shall be a fountain opened for the house of David and for the inhabitants of Jerusalem [to cleanse them from] sin and uncleanness.

This is a fountain for immersion, for baptism. Immersion signifies a desire to obey and serve God and it identifies us with the Lord Jesus. When the Jews prepare for the day of Atonement they have a great day of immersion.

2 And in that day, says the Lord of hosts, I will cut off the names of the idols from the land, and they shall no more be remembered; and also I will remove from the land the [false] prophets and the unclean spirit.

The false prophets and unclean spirits are closely interrelated. It is no small thing when the NYT, or CNN or Facebook or Twitter are caught lying. These companies are working together with the unclean spirits. Project 1619 and CRT is a work of the unclean spirits, they are doctrines of demons teaching us to hate one another and fight with one another. The word of God is a fountain that cleans us from this uncleanness.

3 And if anyone again appears [falsely] as a prophet, then his father and his mother who bore him shall say to him, You shall not live, for you speak lies in the name of the Lord; and his father and his mother who bore him shall thrust him through when he prophecies.

The Lord was thrust through on the crucifixion because of the testimony of false prophets. But for eternity it is the false prophets who get the judgement. This is like the proverb that a curse unfounded is like a bird that will not roost. The false prophets dug a pit for the Lord but they will be the ones that fall into it. In the same way the false prophets of mainstream media and the tech giants will also fall into the pit they dug.

4 And in that day the [false] prophets shall each be ashamed of his vision when he prophesies, nor will he wear a hairy or rough garment to deceive,

Today we can see many televangelists and prosperity gospel prophets who wear the clothes to indicate their prosperity which they equate with God’s blessing. It is the phony baloney garments of scam artists.

5 But he will [deny his identity and] say, I am no prophet. I am a tiller of the ground, for I have been made a bond servant from my youth.

These are the “deplorables”, the blue collar workers. The same people that mocked, ridiculed and insulted these ones will later try to associate themselves with them.

6 And one shall say to him, What are these wounds on your breast or between your hands? Then he will answer, Those with which I was wounded [when disciplined] in the house of my [loving] friends.

Hold everything, this refers to the Lord Jesus. Did these false prophets get converted? Does this show that all of us when we were dead in our offenses and sins were false prophets? Think about this, the Lord suffered these blows in the house of his friends? He came to save Israel and they crucified Him. That is what a true prophet does, they tell you the truth, even if you don’t want to hear it and even if you are killing people who tell that to you. I recently saw that they are putting Trump supporters on a no fly list. They want to label all 75 million people who voted for Trump as white supremacists (the Military has approved a high level position for a person that holds that view and whose job is to eliminate “extremists” from the military, those who are conservatives and who voted for Trump).

7 Awake, O sword, against My shepherd and against the man who is My associate, says the Lord of hosts; smite the shepherd and the sheep [of the flock] shall be scattered, and I will turn back My hand and stretch it out again upon the little ones [of the flock].

We know this is what happened to the Lord. He was a coworker with God to bring redemption to Israel. This chapter is brilliant, we begin with the false prophets who are utterly shunned and rejected, even by their parents and then it seems the Lord appears to be one of them. The befuddled Israelites smite and kill Him, perhaps thinking they are serving God just like the parents of the false prophets. This is what we are seeing today, the world is acting cult like, as though they have been bewitched and they are accusing all Bible believing Christians of being a cult and the ones with hate speech. They are using this to justify the persecution and ultimately killing of these Christians.

8 And in all the land, says the Lord, two-thirds shall be cut off and perish, but one-third shall be left alive.

Two thirds of God’s people will perish during Jacob’s trouble, the last days. People use the word “decimate” as though it is horrible, they were “decimated”. To decimate is to kill one tenth. At the time of Hitler they estimate that about one third of all the Jews worldwide were killed. So if anyone thinks that this is absurd, it could never be this bad the Holocaust proves it could be. However, as bad as the holocaust was it will be twice as bad at the end of the age.

9 And I will bring the third part through the fire, and will refine them as silver is refined and will test them as gold is tested. They will call on My name, and I will hear and answer them. I will say, It is My people; and they will say, The Lord is my God.

Israel is going to go through this difficult time. Prophecies like this make some interpret the Bible as though all believers must go through this fire. What really confuses people is that there are several gates to salvation just as the New Jerusalem has 12 gates. Israel’s path is not the same as that of the Christians and the Christians have both first fruits and the general in gathering. How do we know? Look at the second half of this verse, they have to go through all of this fire before “they will call on My name”. It isn’t until this tribulation that they say “the Lord is my God”. So if you are calling on the Lord’s name and you are proclaiming that the Lord is my God how could this refer to you?

“I have been crucified with Christ and it is no longer I that live but Christ lives in me”. We are tripartite, Body, Soul and Spirit. Our flesh and our self are put on the cross (degenerate Body and corrupt soul). That is two thirds of our being. If you, like Paul, have been crucified with Christ and it is no longer you that live but Christ lives in you then why would you need to go through this? If you have already been refined like gold and silver it would be a waste to do it again. If you receive the word of God by faith and obey the Lord to walk the narrow way that lead to life then you will be refined prior to the end of the age. You will put yourself into the correct position to see the truth. You will rid yourself of false prophets. You will bear in your body the brands of Jesus.

Zechariah 13:9 The deplorables become the indispensables.

9 And I will bring the third part through the fire, and will refine them as silver is refined and will test them as gold is tested. They will call on My name, and I will hear and answer them. I will say, It is My people; and they will say, The Lord is my God.

Isn't this awesome? At one point you were dead in your offenses and sins, you were in the world, you were one with those that crucified the Lord, you worshipped vain idols, you were manipulated by false prophets but then through this process of going through the fire you are transformed from being a "deplorable" to becoming "an indispensable". Wouldn't it be awesome if the Lord felt you were indispensable?

You silence the song of the ruthless

Isaiah 25:5 and like the heat of the desert. You silence the uproar of foreigners; as heat is reduced by the shadow of a cloud, so the song of the ruthless is stilled.

The rapture is going to silence the unbelievers.

Proverbs 10:31 From the mouth of the righteous comes the fruit of wisdom, but a perverse tongue will be silenced.

Right now the perverse tongue is going wild and no one is able to silence it. The coming of the day of the Lord will silence their tongue.

Psalm 143:12 In your unfailing love, silence my enemies; destroy all my foes, for I am your servant.

The biggest enemy we have is unbelief.

Job 11:3 Will your idle talk reduce others to silence? Will no one rebuke you when you mock?

The rapture is going to be God's rebuke to the mockers.

1Samuel 2:9 He will guard the feet of his faithful servants, but the wicked will be silenced in the place of darkness. “It is not by strength that one prevails;

The wicked here are not just unbelievers but also the unfaithful believers, even the fearful.

Numbers 13:30 Then Caleb silenced the people before Moses and said, “We should go up and take possession of the land, for we can certainly do it.”

Caleb represents those who are raptured in the pre-tribulation rapture.

Lamentations 2:10 The elders of Daughter Zion sit on the ground in silence; they have sprinkled dust on their heads and put on sackcloth. The young women of Jerusalem have bowed their heads to the ground.

The elders of the churches left behind will be silenced.

Isaiah 47:5 “Sit in silence, go into darkness, queen city of the Babylonians; no more will you be called queen of kingdoms.

Jeremiah 51:55 The Lord will destroy Babylon; he will silence her noisy din. Waves of enemies will rage like great waters; the roar of their voices will resound.

Babylon's destruction comes in an hour, she is burned with fire, stripped naked and devoured by the beast. That is what this is saying here, she is silenced while their voices roar and resound. What is the noisy din of Babylon? It is two fold, you have the noisy din of the religious Babylon, they will be silenced when they are left behind and everyone who was following them realizes they were deceived. Then there is the noisy din of the material Babylon like Times square. All the non stop ads, billboards, and people hawking their wares. That also will be silenced.

Amos 8:3 “In that day,” declares the Sovereign Lord, “the songs in the temple will turn to wailing. Many, many bodies—flung everywhere! Silence!”

Here we see the result of the judgement falling. There will be a judgement that comes on Babylon in an hour where she is burned by fire, there will also be a judgement on the Gog/Magog war with Israel depicted in Ezekiel 38 where God fights for Israel. 60 million bodies will be flung everywhere. That will silence everyone. But then the antichrist will sign the Abraham accords and the trumpets will sound out that the day of the Lord is here.

A more relevant question

Many of the "watchmen" those who have cried out saying the Lord's return is imminent, they see the signs of His coming, many of these have asked the question concerning "when is the rapture". I think this question that God asks Job is a more relevant question.

Job 40:9 Or hast thou an arm like God? And canst thou thunder with a voice like him?

1st -- the church must be transformed into the army of God

2nd -- we must defeat the enemy

3rd -- we get raptured.

When is the rapture? It is after you have an arm like God and a voice like God and you defeat the enemy.

At the 16:33 minute mark Stan interprets "wine" in the dream to mean sin. I don't agree with that interpretation. The Lord would not say to "stop coating our life with sin". Wine befuddles us, it makes us drunk, but it is not a sin to drink wine, that is clear in the NT. So to me "wine" refers to stop coating your life with movies, and TV and other forms of the world's "wine".

The Purge

Rev 6:9 And when he opened the fifth seal, I saw underneath the altar the souls of them that had been slain for the word of God, and for the testimony which they held:

There is a coming purge that will target people based on the word of God and their testimony. The day is coming and is now here when this blog will become the basis for a death sentence.

Rev 16:6 for they poured out the blood of saints and prophets, and blood hast thou given them to drink: they are worthy.

Yes, this is true of the last 2,000 years but will be especially true during the tribulation.

Rev 17:6 And I saw the woman drunken with the blood of the saints, and with the blood of the martyrs of Jesus. And when I saw her, I wondered with a great wonder.

This killing of saints and pouring out their blood will be like a drunken orgy. The blood is likened to wine.

Rev 18:24 And in her was found the blood of prophets and of saints, and of all that have been slain upon the earth.

This will be an open attack on all believers who have the word of God and the testimony of being a believer in Jesus. However, once she is brought to judgement it will be discovered that her sins are far greater and far more widespread than anyone could have imagined.

If God's son is magnified and if you consecrate yourself to the Lord then God's word prevails.

God reigned, the Spirit moved and Christ was magnified.

The Song of Moses (1)

Deuteronomy 32:
32 Give ear, ye heavens, and I will speak; And let the earth hear the words of my mouth.

Our father who art in heaven, we pray that you would hear this song of Moses, and that your will would be done on Earth as it is in heaven.

2 My doctrine shall drop as the rain; My speech shall distil as the dew, As the small rain upon the tender grass, And as the showers upon the herb.

You have blessed us with your word. We have had marvelous teachers of the word in England, in the US, and from around the world. You have given us your word. Bibles are easily available, if you have online access you can read the Bible for free and organizations like the Gideon's give away Bibles for free.

3 For I will proclaim the name of Jehovah: Ascribe ye greatness unto our God.

Father, we pray your name would be glorified and that every knee would bow before the Lord Jesus.

4 The Rock, his work is perfect; For all his ways are justice: A God of faithfulness and without iniquity, Just and right is he.

This is the way we were raised, we saw a perfect work, we learned of God's justice and faithfulness.

5 They have dealt corruptly with him, they are not his children, it is their blemish; They are a perverse and crooked generation.

And now we see this crooked and perverse generation. They have no idea of what justice and faithfulness is. They teach equity eliminating any personal responsibility, any need to confess or repent of sins. The schools are filled with perversion, grooming kindergarten and elementary school kids for their perversion. They deal corruptly, lying to parents and behaving deceitfully. Lord they are crooked, stealing elections, using tax dollars to enrich themselves, all the while lying and cheating.

6 Do ye thus requite Jehovah, O foolish people and unwise? Is not he thy father that hath bought thee? He hath made thee, and established thee.

The fool has said in his heart there is no God. They want to pretend you have not done all this with their absurd theory of evolution, something that is falsely called science even though it completely ignores the mathematical impossibility of this theory. Lord you bought us with your Son's blood, you made us into a great nation and you established us on Earth. We have gone from being serfs, people who are taxed without representation, to being the preeminent power on this earth.

7 Remember the days of old, Consider the years of many generations: Ask thy father, and he will show thee; Thine elders, and they will tell thee.

This whole BLM and CRT movement is so devoid of solid understanding of history. They tear down a statue of Teddy Roosevelt, a Native American and an African American man outside of the Museum of Natural History. Why? Because they are clueless about history. This museum has major collections from North America and Africa personified by the two statues and they have Teddy because he was the major contributor of artifacts to get the museum started. They attack Lincoln because he said that if possible he would have avoided the Civil War as though that makes him a racist while ignoring everything else he said and did in his life.

8 When the Most High gave to the nations their inheritance, When he separated the children of men, He set the bounds of the peoples According to the number of the children of Israel.

Think of the bounds that He gave to America! We were given a continent from sea to shining sea. No other people's were given that. These oceans have blessed our economy while also blessing us with security, protecting us from invaders.

9 For Jehovah’s portion is his people; Jacob is the lot of his inheritance.

When we first came to this country from Europe we consecrated the new land as a light on a Hill, a New Jerusalem. We gave this land to the Lord and He has blessed it accordingly.

10 He found him in a desert land, And in the waste howling wilderness; He compassed him about, he cared for him, He kept him as the apple of his eye.

Study the history, look at the situation our ancestors came from. We fled religious persecution, we fled famine, we led abusive and tyrannical governments. The great grandfather on my mother's side fled a Turkish slave ship. For two hundred years people left oppression to come to the US for a better life.

11 As an eagle that stirreth up her nest, That fluttereth over her young, He spread abroad his wings, he took them, He bare them on his pinions.

We were the ones who took up the huddled masses yearning for freedom.

12 Jehovah alone did lead him, And there was no foreign god with him.

The US was known as a Christian nation for good reason. We were an overwhelmingly Christian nation.

13 He made him ride on the high places of the earth, And he did eat the increase of the field; And he made him to suck honey out of the rock, And oil out of the flinty rock; 14 Butter of the herd, and milk of the flock, With fat of lambs, And rams of the breed of Bashan, and goats, With the finest of the wheat; And of the blood of the grape thou drankest wine.

After WWI the mantle was passed to the US and after WWII the US was the sole superpower on this Earth. Other countries had nuclear weapons, but economically we were the envy of the entire world. We were called the breadbasket of the world. When foreigners saw our grocery stores they were in awe, they had never seen such abundance. China, Russia, Europe were all recovering from the devastation of war and famine while we were the wealthiest country, the country everyone else wanted to imitate.

Song of Moses (2)

Deuteronomy 32:
15 But Jeshurun waxed fat, and kicked: Thou art waxed fat, thou art grown thick, thou art become sleek; Then he forsook God who made him, And lightly esteemed the Rock of his salvation.

Can you believe this? At this point when we have come so far in such a short time. It was only 90 years after the Civil war and already we have surpassed kingdoms and empires with a thousand year history or even several thousand years of history. At this point when we should be marvelling at what the Lord had done and giving him praise, at that point people forsook God and brought in the Apostasy. The fundamental teaching of the Apostasy is that the Bible is out of date, we can ignore the teachings because we are scientific and wiser than our ancestors. How ridiculous, we had just seen how marvelous is the Bible in all the earth, how appropriate it is to this day to lead former colonies to this glorious position in such a short time, and then they teach this foolishness and people actually buy into it?

16 They moved him to jealousy with strange gods; With abominations provoked they him to anger.

Can you believe what you see at the halftime show of the Superbowl? It is the ugliest idol worship there is.

17 They sacrificed unto demons, which were no God, To gods that they knew not, To new gods that came up of late, Which your fathers dreaded not.

You may not think that abortion is a sacrifice to demons, but you can be sure the demons and Satanists do think it is. We are now learning about the worship of Moloch and Baal and how it involves pedophiles and human sacrifice.

18 Of the Rock that begat thee thou art unmindful, And hast forgotten God that gave thee birth.

Think about that. So much to focus on or be distracted from. With TV, Movies, and the internet we are flooded with things to look at and yet they are not mindful of Jesus Christ, the rock of salvation and they have forgotten God that created us.

19 And Jehovah saw it, and abhorred them, Because of the provocation of his sons and his daughters.

Please notice this word. Many ask "where is God", and "why does God allow this". He allows this because he abhors you. He blessed you to the uttermost. He was faithful to the uttermost. He saved you. He died for you. And this is what you do, you are abhorrent.

20 And he said, I will hide my face from them, I will see what their end shall be: For they are a very perverse generation, Children in whom is no faithfulness.

He gave us enough rope to hang ourselves with. Look around, this is what we have become now that God has hidden his face from us. Many things I see today I would have considered to be an absurd and ridiculous joke just a few years ago. Men competing in women's sports, yeah right. 20+ genders, is this a joke? Humiliating exit from Afghanistan? Surely not the US. The crime in the cities, the election fraud, a president who is shaking hands with the air and being led around by the Easter bunny?

21 They have moved me to jealousy with that which is not God; They have provoked me to anger with their vanities: And I will move them to jealousy with those that are not a people; I will provoke them to anger with a foolish nation.

Who are the LGBTQ? They aren't a people. This transgender Admiral and Pete Butigieg, you could say they are a foolish nation. God is definitely in control and the purpose of what is going on is to move God's people to jealousy and anger.

22 For a fire is kindled in mine anger, And burneth unto the lowest Sheol, And devoureth the earth with its increase, And setteth on fire the foundations of the mountains.

Are you confused by the news? Well it is quite simple, a fire is kindled and it is going to devour the earth with its increase. That is what is happening in Ukraine. That is what is happening with 17 attacks on food processing plants. That is what is happening with Sri Lanka declaring bankruptcy or the inflation or famines.

23 I will heap evils upon them; I will spend mine arrows upon them:

Russia has plenty of "nuclear arrows", N. Korea and Iran are also working on their own arrows. These do not belong to them, they belong to God and you can be sure that when God says He will spend His arrows on us He is aware of every arrow in His quiver.

24 They shall be wasted with hunger, and devoured with burning heat And bitter destruction; And the teeth of beasts will I send upon them, With the poison of crawling things of the dust.

Wake up, everyone is predicting a food shortage, even a coming famine. We are seeing massive forest fires all over the world and this will devour up the land with burning heat. Watch the evening news and you can see the teeth of beasts killing so many people, mass killings and mass shootings in all the major cities. Now we learn that in the dust we have the poison of crawling things, that the vaccine is actually poison and that they have poisoned the water.

25 Without shall the sword bereave, And in the chambers terror; It shall destroy both young man and virgin, The suckling with the man of gray hairs.

This is not death for death's sake, it is the result of forsaking God when we got fat and sleek.

26 I said, I would scatter them afar, I would make the remembrance of them to cease from among men;

This is the song of Moses and it clearly refers to Israel but the church is the Israel which is above. This word is every bit as much for us today as it is for Israel after they forsook God and rejected Jesus Christ.

27 Were it not that I feared the provocation of the enemy, Lest their adversaries should judge amiss, Lest they should say, Our hand is exalted, And Jehovah hath not done all this.

Verse 27 is the one verse that can save those in the apostasy. Do not utterly destroy them lest the enemy say that their hand is exalted and the Lord has not done this.

28 For they are a nation void of counsel, And there is no understanding in them.

Be wise, if God did this to you for forsaking Him He can obviously do it to your enemies that never once embraced God.

29 Oh that they were wise, that they understood this, That they would consider their latter end!

Enough with all this useless debate about whether a loving God would send people to hell. You have sent yourself to hell by rejecting God. Think how far we have gone in just a few years! In the last 20 years just consider how far the US has fallen! This is heading to a nuclear catastrophe. Our foreign policy with Biden and Clinton and Kerry all using foreign policy to enrich themselves while keeping up this charade about climate change. The whole world is disgusted with the CIA (Cocaine Importing Agency). The whole world is disgusted with the profligate spending and perverse leadership in this country. You will be utterly despised.

30 How should one chase a thousand, And two put ten thousand to flight, Except their Rock had sold them, And Jehovah had delivered them up?

This is interesting the way it is flipped. In our history we were the ones who were chasing a thousand. Britain was the superpower of the day when we fought our revolution. But now look at Afghanistan, how did those goat herders put us to flight were it not for the fact that the rock of our salvation had sold us.

31 For their rock is not as our Rock, Even our enemies themselves being judges.

Jesus is the rock of salvation, He is not like the idols and false gods that so many worship around the world. The whole world saw that, they were stunned in WWII, they were amazed in the Gulf war when they saw our precision missiles going into windows of buildings. But Afghanistan shows that the US forsook the Lord and in return the Lord has sold the US.

32 For their vine is of the vine of Sodom, And of the fields of Gomorrah: Their grapes are grapes of gall, Their clusters are bitter:

The US is Sodom and Gomorrah now.

33 Their wine is the poison of serpents, And the cruel venom of asps.

Pfizer and these biotech companies are one of our most profitable industries and yet the vaccine they are pushing on the rest of the world is the cruel venom of asps. Disney and Hollywood are very influential industries that span the world, but again, their wine is the poison of serpents.

34 Is not this laid up in store with me, Sealed up among my treasures?

Yes, be amazed, we were told all about all of this in the Bible thousands of years before it took place.

35 Vengeance is mine, and recompense, At the time when their foot shall slide: For the day of their calamity is at hand, And the things that are to come upon them shall make haste.

Shock and Awe. There is a period of time as the storm gathers when you wonder if anything is going on, but when the storm hits it will be shock and awe, the day of calamity, and then everything seems to be happening way too fast to keep up with.

36 For Jehovah will judge his people, And repent himself for his servants; When he seeth that their power is gone, And there is none remaining, shut up or left at large.

Can you imagine how Moses felt? Here he is laying out a path to blessing, and glory and honor and yet he knows the people will ignore him and lean unto their own understanding and make a total wreck of everything.

37 And he will say, Where are their gods, The rock in which they took refuge;

Joe Biden, where are your gods that you took refuge in? Where is BLM? Where is this claim to eliminate human rights abuses at the border? You told us you took on Corn Pop, how is it that you were so totally humiliated in Afghanistan?

38 Which did eat the fat of their sacrifices, And drank the wine of their drink-offering? Let them rise up and help you, Let them be your protection.

Yep, all those pork barrel bills where you gave away billions and billions, how about all those who you paid off coming to our aid now?

39 See now that I, even I, am he, And there is no god with me: I kill, and I make alive; I wound, and I heal; And there is none that can deliver out of my hand.

Wake up people, you have such a pathetic view of God. He heals, He makes alive, yes. That was our testimony, you saw it again, and again and again. Yet you rejected Him so guess what, He is also the one who kills, who wounds and the one that none can deliver out of His hand.

40 For I lift up my hand to heaven, And say, As I live for ever, 41 If I whet my glittering sword, And my hand take hold on judgment; I will render vengeance to mine adversaries, And will recompense them that hate me.

That's right, He forgives, He is a God of mercy and He is also the judge, the one who renders vengeance and the one who will recompense the haters.

42 I will make mine arrows drunk with blood, And my sword shall devour flesh; With the blood of the slain and the captives, From the head of the leaders of the enemy.

The Lord is the mighty warrior. He takes on the head, the mightiest ones, the giants, and He brings them low.

43 Rejoice, O ye nations, with his people: For he will avenge the blood of his servants, And will render vengeance to his adversaries, And will make expiation for his land, for his people.

And this is what we discover, there are two groups, those that pretend to be His but lie and do abominable things and then those who truly are His servants but are put to death and shed their blood standing for the Lord.

Isaiah 57:1-11 -- The righteous are taken away to be spared from evil

Right now in the US there is a great divide. The president exemplifies this divide. The news media has lost its credibility being accused of being “fake news”. People on either side of this divide see the other side as their enemy. The tea party with Sarah Palin was disrespected, mocked and ridiculed. This has caused an even greater animosity towards the media from those who feel their voices have not been heard. Their concerns are disrespected. Nicki Minaj and Djokovic are good examples of how the media goes against anyone who speaks contrary to the official narrative.

1 The righteous perish, and no one takes it to heart; the devout are taken away, and no one understands that the righteous are taken away to be spared from evil.

This chapter is going to discuss all kinds of outrageously unrighteous acts that have just taken place. People will often say “how can God allow this?” Instead you should realize that what happened to the righteous was mercy, that gives you an idea of how horrible the judgement will be on these crooks.

2 Those who walk uprightly enter into peace; they find rest as they lie in death.

If we are going to understand what is happening today we have to consider several critical events. First, the Clinton presidency passed NAFTA. It was a very big political issue where Perot made it very clear that if this is passed your manufacturing jobs will be sent across the border. That is exactly what happened. People with very good jobs in manufacturing became unemployed. Cities like Detroit became abandoned and were boarded up. People in their 40s and 50s lost the dignity of a job that can provide for their families. Overnight alcoholism and poverty swept through like a plague and they knew that this was done to them by Clinton. Yet when you listen to the media no one says a word, when you listen to the politicians no one says a word. Then a new station, Fox news shows up, and they are the only ones speaking to their pain. This was the first blow, but the second was even worse. The Mortgage crisis was not some accident. It was a manufactured crisis. Banks were writing mortgages that they knew would blow up in five years and end in default. They did this because before they blew up they were able to sell the debt to investment banks who then sold them to pension funds. The banks made very good money selling these mortgages. People would pay the $1,000+ monthly mortgage for 60 months before defaulting and losing the house. Once they lost the house it went back to the bank who could sell it again. They didn’t need down payments because they would get the $60,000 in 60 monthly mortgage payments. The investment banks also got rich with commissions selling these mortgage backed securities to pension funds. Independent rating agencies like Moody’s would give these a triple A rating not because they were a safe bet but because if they didn’t they would lose the business from these huge investment banks. Those were the winners.

3 “But you—come here, you children of a sorceress, you offspring of adulterers and prostitutes! 4 Who are you mocking? At whom do you sneer and stick out your tongue? Are you not a brood of rebels, the offspring of liars? 5 You burn with lust among the oaks and under every spreading tree; you sacrifice your children in the ravines and under the overhanging crags.

Let’s not forget that many more had their kids go to Iraq to fight because of Weapons of Mass destruction only to learn that the government lied to them about that as well. The same people who sacrifice your children in those ravines in Iraq are the ones who are willing to abort their own kids. It is foolish to think that anyone who would sacrifice their own kid to save money wouldn’t sacrifice your kid to get rich. And what do they do when they see calamity approach? They design a pandemic in a bio weapons lab, the Biblical term for this is sorcery.

6 The idols among the smooth stones of the ravines are your portion; indeed, they are your lot. Yes, to them you have poured out drink offerings and offered grain offerings. In view of all this, should I relent?

However the losers in the mortgage crisis were people who had bought the houses. The bank had a legal obligation to explain the mortgage and represent these homeowners to protect their interest. They were criminally negligent in the handling of this responsibility. Nearly 10 million homeowners lost their homes. If you consider that there might be 3 or 4 people in that home you now have 30 or 40 million homeless people. In addition pension funds lost $5 trillion dollars as a result of this crisis. Again, they had trusted the rating agencies to tell them the truth, and they hadn’t, they also had been complicit in this crime. This is now the second time the government and all those who are legally responsible to watch out for the people scammed them. They have lost their jobs, their homes and their savings. So then, what does the government do about it? They don’t arrest a single person even though thousands had very clearly broken laws that were on the books. Instead they take tax payer money and bail out these banks who then give themselves bonuses. Guess what? Our pension funds have invested heavily in a Chinese real estate company that is going belly up. Think of this as mortgage crisis 2.0

7 You have made your bed on a high and lofty hill; there you went up to offer your sacrifices. 8 Behind your doors and your doorposts you have put your pagan symbols. Forsaking me, you uncovered your bed, you climbed into it and opened it wide; you made a pact with those whose beds you love, and you looked with lust on their naked bodies. 9 You went to Molek with olive oil and increased your perfumes. You sent your ambassadors far away; you descended to the very realm of the dead! 10 You wearied yourself by such going about, but you would not say, ‘It is hopeless.’ You found renewal of your strength, and so you did not faint.

Whenever the government had done anything the media had come out and presented the issues whether it was NAFTA or the Mortgage Crisis, and experts would get on and talk about how this would be good for the country. After the mortgage crisis they argued that the “Banks were too big to fail”. How do you think those who are now unemployed, homeless and who just lost their life savings are thinking? You think they will trust anything you say? Their kids were sent to die in phony wars, their houses were stolen by banks committing a crime and government covering it up, and their jobs were sent to other countries who had bribed our officials (Biden crime family, Clinton crime family and Kerry crime family).

11 “Whom have you so dreaded and feared that you have not been true to me, and have neither remembered me nor taken this to heart?

People began to hit the streets. Occupy Wall Street was the first sign. Young, college educated people who understood the corruption took to the streets. But then the shooting at Sandy Hook took place. The most heinous and outrageous act demanding something be done. The vast majority of Americans felt that legislation concerning guns needed to be passed. But they were unable to pass legislation. Why do you think these tens of millions of Americans who had lost their job, home and savings based on actions the government had taken wouldn’t trust the government to pass gun legislation?

12 I will expose your righteousness and your works, and they will not benefit you.

YouTube exploded on the scene and one killing after another was exposed. Between Facebook, Twitter and YouTube the mainstream media was bypassed and made to appear irrelevant.

13 When you cry out for help, let your collection of idols save you! The wind will carry all of them off, a mere breath will blow them away.

Videos, blogs, forums and talk shows fanned the flames and the outrage grew. The judgement is falling hard on the Banks. Defaults on mortgages have skyrocketed. Due to the pandemic there are 40 million who cannot pay their rent, a third of small businesses may wind up going bust, shopping malls, theaters, and stadiums have all had to close. The real estate bubble in China has also popped bringing in a terrible financial collapse. The only solution is for the banks to forgive the debt, otherwise we will have a homeless crisis to rival the great depression. And the judgement is falling hard on foreign trade which is down about 30%. With a pandemic raging in Mexico the border was shut tighter than ever before. Then with Biden he has thrown it wide open, set up super spreader centers where people are packed in together and then bused and flown all over the country. People ignored climate change for the sake of the oil industry. Our foreign policy of having wars in the middle east are all about protecting our oil industry and promoting our military industrial complex. The two states that depend the most on these industries are Texas and California. These are also the two states being hit the hardest with fires and floods due to climate change.

But whoever takes refuge in me will inherit the land and possess my holy mountain.” 14 And it will be said: “Build up, build up, prepare the road! Remove the obstacles out of the way of my people.”

The election was fraudulent. You weren’t allowed to talk about or else you would be censored and banned. As a result Christians built new platforms to rival the tech giants. Rumble instead of Youtube, Gab instead of Facebook, FrankSpeech instead of the mainstream media. Conservative talk show saw spectacular growth in their ratings while CNN, MSNBC, Twitter, Facebook, Youtube, Amazon all saw a decrease in their ratings and users. Cancel culture blew up on the faces of all that tried. MLB got burned, Coca Cola got burned, Delta airlines got burned, everyone who banned Mike Lindell got burned. Disney got burned.

15 For this is what the high and exalted One says— he who lives forever, whose name is holy: “I live in a high and holy place, but also with the one who is contrite and lowly in spirit, to revive the spirit of the lowly and to revive the heart of the contrite. 16 I will not accuse them forever, nor will I always be angry, for then they would faint away because of me— the very people I have created. 17 I was enraged by their sinful greed; I punished them, and hid my face in anger, yet they kept on in their willful ways. 18 I have seen their ways, but I will heal them; I will guide them and restore comfort to Israel’s mourners, 19 creating praise on their lips. Peace, peace, to those far and near,” says the Lord. “And I will heal them.”

This judgement is a house cleaning. The Lord is removing the children of the sorceress who have devised these wicked schemes to defraud people. He is removing the adulterers who have no respect for covenant. He is removing the prostitutes who will sell themselves to do wickedly. They are the brood of rebels against God, they are offspring of liars. Once they have been removed and swept clean we will again hear praise of our God on our lips and we will be healed. This happened because we were asleep at the wheel focused on our willful ways and sinful greed. But once we repented He guided us and restored comfort to those who mourned for righteousness.

20 But the wicked are like the tossing sea, which cannot rest, whose waves cast up mire and mud. 21 “There is no peace,” says my God, “for the wicked.”

What is it that the Black Lives Matter says in their protests? No Justice, No Peace. There is no peace for the wicked. What is cancel culture, it is like the tossing sea whose waves are casting up mire and mud.

Unto Obedience and Sprinkling

1 Peter, an apostle of Jesus Christ, to the elect who are sojourners of the Dispersion in Pontus, Galatia, Cappadocia, Asia, and Bithynia, 2 according to the foreknowledge of God the Father, in sanctification of the Spirit, unto obedience and sprinkling of the blood of Jesus Christ: Grace to you and peace be multiplied.

With Peter I think of the Apostle who has been given the keys of the kingdom, he was impulsive as a young believer, very transparent in the gospels. But we also see a man who has been humbled. Rebuked repeatedly by Jesus — Get behind me Satan, and then in the next chapter rebuked for saying Jesus pays tribute. Rebuked on the mount of transfiguration — this is my beloved Son, hear Him, rebuked at the Lord’s crucifixion, and then later rebuked by Paul. Peter is writing this gospel so that we would be found in honor at the Lord’s appearing. He is uniquely qualified to speak an encouraging word to every believer. If Peter can be found in honor then so can we.

The word “strangers” really stands out. It seems that every epistle in the NT is written to the outcasts of society. Paul wrote to the gentiles in what was a predominantly Jewish religion. And who sent Paul to the Gentiles, it was Jesus because he knew the Bible better than any Judaizer and would be able to defend the faith. Likewise, who is sent to “strangers” but someone who is so intimately at the very center of God’s move. Who better to embrace and encourage them, to welcome them into God’s kingdom so that we would no longer be strangers.

The word scattered also stands out, reminding me of James' epistle to those in the "dispersion". Peter and James clearly saw the persecution taking place on the church and the saints as being due to God's sovereignty to scatter the gospel far and wide.

Peter is very encouraging. We have been chosen, not because of some test we passed or work that we have done but because God the father knows something. God the Father has “foreknowledge” about us. There is a key reason why God has chosen us. And, we are chosen through the sanctification of the Spirit. The process we are going through is making us holy, like God. This is why we are strangers in a strange land. The result is not a college degree or certification, the result is that we can obey the voice of God. To obey God’s voice requires faith. I recently had an experience of this and I may have been cured of cancer. About 8 months ago I was diagnosed with cancer, they took a biopsy, and they scheduled me for an operation to remove my prostate. However, NYC then mandated the vaccine and the hospital would not operate on someone who wasn't vaccinated. The speaking from the Lord was very clear to me to not get vaccinated and since my job required it the speaking was also quite clear to retire, sell the house and move. To me this speaking was every bit as urgent as those angels telling Lot he needed to leave Sodom and Gomorrah. My wife also resigned her job and so we moved. However, during this time I also prayed "what about the cancer" and the response I got was "don't worry about that". It was stunning how urgent and insistent the speaking was concerning not getting the vaccine, retiring and moving, while something that seemed super serious He was like, "don't worry about that". Then when I got to South Dakota I got a box of herbal medicine that supposedly purged your body of fungal infections. It is a long and strange story (to me) how this happened or even why I would accept this, but I did and started taking it. Shortly thereafter two spots that had recently become numb in my body cleared up. A couple of weeks later I noticed the symptoms of my prostate cancer were getting better and something strange was happening to my left thigh. Over the last five years my thigh had become more and more numb to the point the entire thigh from the knee to the hip was numb and it was hard to walk. At first I couldn't tell if it was getting better or not but it was clear something was happening. As I write this now the thigh is completely back to normal, first time in five years. So then what is going on? I looked into this a little deeper and learned that there are a number of doctors who have theorized that cancer is caused by fungus! Can you imagine that all this time instead of spending tens and hundreds of thousands of dollars on cancer treatment all we needed was a few herbs to purge our system of fungal infections? I don't know the answer to that but I do know six months ago if I had told people that the Lord had told me "don't worry about" the cancer they would have considered me an idiot. This is what it is to obey the Lord's speaking, it may not make sense to us, but later we will realize Jesus is Lord and then we'll be even more willing to obey the next time He speaks.

And this is unto “the sprinkling of the blood”. This is not the same as being redeemed or washed in the blood. The priest sprinkled the blood. The result of our sanctification unto obedience is that we become priests of God, sprinkling the Lord’s blood wherever we go like seeds of life. Drops of forgiveness and justification.

Finally, this expression that Grace and peace be multiplied is unique to Peter. (Though Jude refers to love being multiplied.) This reminds me of the verse in Acts that the word of God grew and multiplied. So what does "multiplied" mean. If I add a thousand, and then I do that again, and again. Instead of adding a thousand three times I can simply multiply 3 times a thousand. Likewise if Paul speaks the word, and James speaks the word and Peter speaks the word, then that is the word being "multiplied". The word has been spoken to us, now if each of us speaks this word it is no longer addition, it is multiplication. The growth of the word is exponential, not linear. Grace and Peace does not flow in one direction, instead it is flowing to and through every member of the Body. Hence, it is multiplied. This epistle to us is Peter sending grace and peace to us. If we in turn share this with others then this grace and peace is being multiplied. This reminds me of the word that “rivers of living water would flow from our innermost being”.

1Peter 4:13 but insomuch as ye are partakers of Christ’s sufferings, rejoice; that at the revelation of his glory also ye may rejoice with exceeding joy.

I am reminded of when I played football. Sometimes we would play in the rain and the mud and by the end of the game you were covered head to toe with mud. Your feet were soaked through, your face, your hands, everything was covered. You didn't care if you won, you were rejoicing. But there would always be that one kid whose uniform was pristine, not a speck of mud on it. This was because he sat on the bench and didn't play. It is hard to rejoice in a victory if you were not out there in the trenches during the battle.

I could care less what you say

Last August and September I went to rallies in NYC for the teachers. The first thing that really stuck out to me was how they saw the need for us all to be one, I was thinking "a little late for that now". Jesus prayed that we would all be one, it has been a major lesson, if not the main lesson for the church for the last two thousand years, and these people may have ignored that, disregarded that, even tried to substitute the "union" for the church. Oh well, next time you might want to take the Lord's word a little more seriously.

But the second thing that really hit me was this one woman's speech. It was very powerful, she doesn't bow, she will not be made a slave, when she says no it means no. Shortly after giving this they announced that the TRO (temporary restraining order) had been dissolved without the court even hearing their arguments. It was like God saying I could care less what you say. This is fair, for many years they told God "I could care less what you say" and now they are stunned to be on the other end of that. As you have judged you will be judged. You don't care what God says, well, surprise, God doesn't care what you say.

Then, after announcing the TRO was dissolved a good portion of the people at the rally started yelling to "burn it down". They wanted to disrupt the city, to rebel. I realized how pathetic they were. They all wanted to be these great spiritual warriors only they never went through the years of training. The city would love for them to "burn it down". It gives them a great opportunity to portray all those people resisting the vaccine mandate as rebellious. It lets them "lock them up".

This is a wonderful lesson in what happens if you don't listen to the Lord, if you don't care about His word, and if you don't let Him do a work in your heart.
