Luke 18:9- self exalting wokeism

9 And he spake also this parable unto certain who trusted in themselves that they were righteous, and set all others at nought:

Wow, what a beautiful juxtaposition comparing the widow appealing to the unrighteous judge with those who trusted that they were righteous. When you hear the debate about racism it is so clear that those on either side of the debate “trust in themselves that they are righteous”. It is clear that they are “setting all others at nought.”

10 Two men went up into the temple to pray; the one a Pharisee, and the other a publican. 11 The Pharisee stood and prayed thus with himself, God, I thank thee, that I am not as the rest of men, extortioners, unjust, adulterers, or even as this publican. 12 I fast twice in the week; I give tithes of all that I get. 13 But the publican, standing afar off, would not lift up so much as his eyes unto heaven, but smote his breast, saying, God, be thou merciful to me a sinner.

What is a “pharisee” and what is a “publican”. Forget that, let's use terms we can understand. A BLM protestor went up to the temple and prayed “God I thank you that I am not as the rest of men, slave holders, redliners, abusive police, or even this right winger with a MAGA hat on. I protest twice a week, I tweet everyday”. Or, a talk show pundit went up to the temple and prayed “God I thank you that I am not as the rest of men, millionaire athletes pretending to be activists, people who should just shut up and dribble, I post two shows a week, I tweet everyday.”

14 I say unto you, This man went down to his house justified rather than the other: for every one that exalteth himself shall be humbled; but he that humbleth himself shall be exalted.

The message here is that every single one of us needs to humble ourselves. Stop boasting that your ancestors were slaves. There are a lot of people who have descended from slaves. Stop boasting in how hard you worked to get where you are. You were fortunate to be born in this country, you were fortunate in so many ways, give thanks to the Lord, humble yourself.

1 Thess 4 is one of the clearest passages on the Rapture imo. And what does it say?

"Believers Who Have Died
13 Brothers and sisters, we do not want you to be uninformed about those who sleep in death, so that you do not grieve like the rest of mankind, who have no hope. 14 For we believe that Jesus died and rose again, and so we believe that God will bring with Jesus those who have fallen asleep in him. 15 According to the Lord’s word, we tell you that we who are still alive, who are left until the coming of the Lord, will certainly not precede those who have fallen asleep. 16 For the Lord himself will come down from heaven, with a loud command, with the voice of the archangel and with the trumpet call of God, and the dead in Christ will rise first. 17 After that, we who are still alive and are left will be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air. And so we will be with the Lord forever. 18 Therefore encourage one another with these words."

(1) Those who are left alive will not precede those who slept in Christ, i.e. the righteous dead. (vs 15) (2) These dead in Christ will rise first. (vs 16) (3) Only after this Resurrection of those who slept in Christ will the Rapture take place. (see the "after that" in vs 17). (4) Finally, the Rapture is not a secret event, but a public one, where the Lord Himself comes down, with a Loud Command (see vs 16 again on that), and the Voice of an Archangel, in other words, all this happens at the Second Coming post tribulation.

Luke 18:15-17 What is holding you back?

15 And they were bringing unto him also their babes, that he should touch them: but when the disciples saw it, they rebuked them. 16 But Jesus called them unto him, saying, Suffer the little children to come unto me, and forbid them not: for to such belongeth the kingdom of God. 17 Verily I say unto you, Whosoever shall not receive the kingdom of God as a little child, he shall in no wise enter therein.

I think it is great that these kids are getting “woke”. You don’t need to wait until you won’t make a mistake before coming to the Lord. This is how we grow and learn. So what if you stumble, all those who have gone before you have also stumbled and yet the kingdom of God belongs to them. Let me illustrate what the Lord is saying here. Suppose you were in a church meeting with two hundred people. You have every age, even young children with their parents are sitting in the meeting. Then unexpectedly the worship leader asks those who don’t know how to play the piano to stand up. To those who are standing “who wants to come up here and learn how to play the piano?” The seven year old shoots their hand up. That is what "to such belongeth the kingdom of God" means, you have to receive the kingdom like a little child, otherwise you will never enter in.

What happened to everyone else, do you really think they never wanted to learn the piano? So what was stopping them?

It is always very dangerous to follow the Lord at a distance.

Not cold, not hot, not with the Lord, but following from a safe distance.

Repenting of Sin, part 1

This is David dealing with his sin of adultery and murder in the matter of Bathsheba.

51:1 Have mercy upon me, O God, according to thy lovingkindness: according unto the multitude of thy tender mercies blot out my transgressions.

When I read this I am stunned. You have been caught and exposed in the most heinous crime imaginable and you have the nerve to ask for mercy and ask God to deal with you according to His lovingkindness? You ask that your transgression would be blotted out? Then I was reminded of what the Lord said in Matthew 7 about building our house on the rock. This is the biggest storm that hits David's life. He went through a number of big storms but this is the one that should have brought down his house. But it didn't. Why? Think about Peter and Judas. They both sinned at the time of Jesus crucifixion, for one it brought down their house, for the other it didn't.

We need to dig down to the rock and build out house on that rock. The rock is Christ and if you dig down to that rock you will know His mercy and His lovingkindness. Don't wait for the storm to hit. Judas didn't know God's mercy. How do we know? The Lord said that you should treat others with mercy just as He treated you with mercy. Judas was the one saying "why this waste" when the woman poured out the ointment on Jesus. There was no mercy with Judas. However, with Peter when his mother in law was sick he brought Jesus to her, so we can see that he prayed for his mother in law to be healed. Likewise Jesus tells Peter that He will pray for him after he denies the Lord. As you have done it will be done for you.

David knew God's mercy and we see him also be merciful. He could have killed Saul but didn't. That was mercy.

But how can David be so bold as to ask God to blot out his transgressions? We look at David and we are shocked, horrified, a man of God committing such terrible sins. But then this morning I looked at it a different way. What about the other kings in the region, say the kings of the Midians, or the kings of Philistines, or the Kings of the Assyrians or the Egyptians? All the rulers of that day were like the rulers of a drug cartel. Do you think they would think twice about adultery and having some guy whacked? Suppose you are at work and you do something that is wrong, fair enough, but it is the same thing that half the people at work do and they are much worse than you. For them they can do this and nothing happens, but for you they go ballistic and want to get you fired. Think about David, Saul gave his wife to another man and tried to kill him repeatedly. First secretly and then out in the open. This happens to us, we are in an evil and adulterous age and we can become affected by this age. But we are not bastards, we are children of God and He will treat us very seriously for sins that the world just ignores.

2 Wash me throughly from mine iniquity, and cleanse me from my sin.

This is the point, David realizes he has become filthy and polluted by being influenced by the worldly and fleshly people around him. Just because he experienced God in his adventures with Saul does not mean that he should behave like Saul. He doesn't just want the transgression blotted out, he wants that stain washed away from his soul, he repents of being that person.

3 For I acknowledge my transgressions: and my sin is ever before me.

This is how we deal with sin. We acknowledge that it is sin. David is not there saying "but what about Saul, what about King so and so". And it is horrifying. "My sin is ever before me" is like Lady Macbeth always trying to wash the blood off her hands. David imitated these other evil rulers and instantly it is as though he has that dead Uriah always looking at him from the grave. He can see the gates of hell trying to welcome him.

4 Against thee, thee only, have I sinned, and done this evil in thy sight: that thou mightest be justified when thou speakest, and be clear when thou judgest.

Wait, what? How about Uriah? He cannot apologize to Uriah. The only one who is alive that he can repent to is God. How many people are worried about sinning against God, worried about what happens now when God speaks or judges? David did not simply commit a sin against another man, he is a king in God's kingdom and as such he bears the testimony of God. Because of that this sin is against that testimony. For example, when these Catholic Bishops shuffled pedophile priests around trying to sweep the sins under the rug who did they sin against? They might not be pedophiles, they might not have hurt any kids, they might even have negotiated a settlement with the family and had the church pay them. No, they sinned against God. Because of their behavior the Catholic church is evil spoken of, God is evil spoken of, how is God going to now judge the world for these sins when the Catholic church does this? So, God has to deal with the Catholic church first.

5 Behold, I was shapen in iniquity; and in sin did my mother conceive me.

Consider that, if God desires to transform us into sons of God in His image and after His likeness who express Him on earth, well He has to do it with sinful men. All of us are sinful. You should not be shocked when your sins are exposed and dealt with severely. This doesn't mean you have become worse since becoming a Christian, no it means you have become more aware and are no longer walking in darkness. The fact that they are being dealt with severely means that you are not a bastard but God is treating you as a son.

Dealing with sins, part 2

6 Behold, thou desirest truth in the inward parts: and in the hidden part thou shalt make me to know wisdom.

This is the right attitude. Often you will hear people who are caught in sin crying because they were "foolish" or "stupid". Enough with the whining, that is superficial. Dig deeper, you are disgusted with your foolishness because God desires truth in the inward parts. You realize you took a path that led to lies, cover ups, things you did that you were ashamed of. You cannot be truthful and transparent if you take that path. So why would you do something so foolish? Because you need to know wisdom. There were warnings, people had told you to just say no, but you ignored them, trivialized the warnings and blundered on. But now as I reflect on the error of my ways I realize I can know wisdom and not make the same mistakes in the future.

7 Purge me with hyssop, and I shall be clean: wash me, and I shall be whiter than snow.

You use hyssop to apply the blood to the doorposts and the priests use it to sprinkle blood on people with leprosy. This also is the right attitude. Many people see their sin as this great thing instead of seeing the Lord's blood and my faith in the cleaning power of that blood as the truly great thing.

8 Make me to hear joy and gladness; that the bones which thou hast broken may rejoice.

Yes, his bones were broken and yes it was God that did it. But he is not blaming God. Suppose a person drove a car under the influence and smashed it up, got in a bad wreck, and went to the hospital. The car is wrecked and the insurance company determines that they will not pay for the damage and the hospital bill is also very high. Now you are in dire straits. Some might be tempted to blame God, but let's be real, this was all your fault. You knew you shouldn't drive while under the influence, you knew it was against the law, you had been warned repeatedly about this. Instead of blaming God pray that you will once again hear joy and gladness. Pray that God can raise you up from this pit so that that you can rejoice. Perhaps your testimony will help others.

9 Hide thy face from my sins, and blot out all mine iniquities.

This is what it means to blot out all your iniquities. Truth is seen in your inmost being, you have come to know wisdom, you have a very deep appreciation of the Lord's blood and your faith in that cleansing stream, and you are praying to God to raise you up and restore you.

10 Create in me a clean heart, O God; and renew a right spirit within me.

David had a right spirit within him. He knows that, he is praying that God would renew that. However he also knows that his heart is deceitfully wicked. He needs a new heart, a heart of flesh within him. He grew up appreciating the gun slingers and drug Lords and other thugs that rule the land at that time, but he needs God to create something completely new in him, a heart that is unlike anything of the satanic world.

Dealing with sin, part 3

11 Cast me not away from thy presence; and take not thy holy spirit from me.

Only a believer thinks this way. When we sin it cuts us off from the fellowship with the Lord, this is what we are most concerned about restoring. People in the world focus on the lost car, or lost job or lost marriage, or lost bank account. When you lose everything you find out where your heart is. Maybe the thing that meant most to you were your pictures. I heard one man who was worried about his house during a forest fire saying everything he had ever worked for was in that house. The thing a real believer cares most about is the presence of the Lord.

12 Restore unto me the joy of thy salvation; and uphold me with thy free spirit.

David's sin caused him to lose the joy of his salvation and as a result he feels like he can no longer stand. This is why he is praying "restore unto me the joy of thy salvation". This is why he is praying that the spirit would hold him up.

13 Then will I teach transgressors thy ways; and sinners shall be converted unto thee.

Did it really take this terrible sin for David to see that this is on God's heart? God wants sinners to be converted. God wants a man to teach transgressors His ways.

14 Deliver me from blood guiltiness, O God, thou God of my salvation: and my tongue shall sing aloud of thy righteousness.

We are all descended from Adam, we all have blood guiltiness. Some are self righteous and think they are better than others, but it doesn't change the fact that we all have blood guiltiness. I have heard that Uriah was related to the very wise man Ahithophel who counseled Absalom in his insurrection against David. This is "blood guiltiness". David knew that even if he was cleaned from the sin of having Uriah killed it wouldn't change the fact that relatives of Uriah would come gunning for him.

15 O Lord, open thou my lips; and my mouth shall shew forth thy praise.

This is a wonderful prayer, Lord if you will open my lips my mouth will show forth thy praise. My heart is filled with praise for God. I'm not filled with bitterness, I'm not blaming others for my misfortune, I acknowledge my sin, but my prayer and attitude is to be lifted up, redeemed, washed, and renewed.

God wants us transformed into the image and likeness of God and He wants to inhabit our praises. Yes, hate sin, be ashamed of sin, pray to be cleansed from sin, but there is no "purgatory". Open your mouth, praise the Lord and begin climbing up out of the pit you have fallen into.

Dealing with sin, part 4.

16 For thou desirest not sacrifice; else would I give it: thou delightest not in burnt offering.

You don't deal with sin by volunteering at the food kitchen. You volunteer at the food kitchen because that is where you have the joy of your salvation and the presence of the Lord. You are filled with life and peace. Don't put the cart before the horse, first you have to be right with the Lord, then you can enjoy the joy of your salvation. Suppose you have a politician, they stole millions of dollars by using information they had at work for insider trading. No one is interested that they now have a photo op at a local food kitchen. Deal with the corruption first, then we can enjoy God's presence.

17 The sacrifices of God are a broken spirit: a broken and a contrite heart, O God, thou wilt not despise.

This was the difference between David and Saul. David was not a bigger sinner than Saul, they both did lots of sins. But David had a broken and a contrite heart. Saul didn't. He would say "David you are more righteous than me" and then the next day plot how to kill David. Many people will say that they are a good person, or that this person sinned every bit as much as they did. The difference between genuine believers and unbelievers is not that one is a sinner and the other isn't. The difference is that one has a broken and a contrite heart and the other doesn't. In the New Testament we call this fruit of repentance.

18 Do good in thy good pleasure unto Zion: build thou the walls of Jerusalem.

Wow, lets take the focus off of ourselves and put in on what God is doing on the earth. You sinned, OK, how can you use your testimony of being saved and restored to help with the building up of Zion and particularly with building the wall that protects everyone else? Think of that gang member who repented, turned to the Lord and then began going from church to church sharing his testimony.

19 Then shalt thou be pleased with the sacrifices of righteousness, with burnt offering and whole burnt offering: then shall they offer bullocks upon thine altar.

Too many quote verse 16 and ignore verse 19. God does not desire sacrifices from sinners. Fix that, deal with that, wash that, get cleansed first. But if you do deal with your sin then God will be pleased with the sacrifices of righteousness. Genuine believers pray this way. When their car is smashed, their job is lost, and they are bankrupt you know what they are praying? They want to be restored to the point that they too can offer bullocks on God's altar again.

Didn’t happen. False prophecy.

What didn't happen is that you didn't open the link or listen to the video. You are so quick to judge, remember with what judgement you judge you shall be judged. The date refers to the date this video was posted.

The HEADLINE blares that the prophecy says Trump will return on 9-9-2022.

Either a false prophecy, or a completely deceptive headline, as any person looking at that would believe he returns to power.
Either way, it’s pretty bad.

Also, the Nephilim Giants beat the Nephilim Titans and no one was raptured. Another false prophecy.

Please stop with them and then moving on to the next “prophetic dream” without even acknowledging the previous one was false.

It was a link to a post from the Prophecy club and it was his title and he always dates his titles. If you had spent ten seconds to click on the link you would have seen that. How could it have been deceptive, the date on that title was the same date as when I posted it.

If you listened to the dream there was nothing in the dream that said you would have a rapture on that date. Titans and Giants are both references to Nephelim, they had a game in Nisan field, Nisan means "their flight" as in the Jews flight from Egypt took place on the month of Nisan.

You are desperate to call out false prophets at every turn. The message was very clear, the woman had a dream, didn't know whether or not to share it, asked the Lord to confirm that she should share and felt she got that confirmation. She had no idea the two teams were playing today and had no idea the name of the stadium or the meaning.

It was something I felt to share the link to.

If you want to call out False prophets

Many of the prophecies that I have linked make a strong case for the tribulation beginning with the Fall Feast in 2022. So if you don't see that this Fall (September 26 to October 5) then by all means you can start pointing out the error in their interpretation.

However, these prophecies are in the Bible, not someones vision or dream. Therefore they are not "false prophets" but rather they are erroneous interpretations of verses in the Gospels and in Psalms.

We are closing in on 6,000 posts and for the most part (not 100% but definitely 99.9% they don't give a date for the rapture). I started this blog because I was tired of everyone's focus on this topic being the date. I wanted to find out everything that the Bible said about it rather than what the Bible doesn't say.

The only reason a couple of these posts did give a date (perhaps 4 of them) is because the source material they were looking at gave a date (it is called predictive programming). No one can deny that the programs they were looking at all gave a date, the question was what that date was referring to if anything and why so many seemingly unrelated scenes would all be saying the same date.

More on False Prophets

David Koresh was a false prophet, and Jim Jones was a false prophet, but you don't have to speak falsehood to be a false prophet.

For example, think about Facebook or CNN censoring information about HCQ or the vaccine or Hunter Biden's laptop. You can censor others from speaking and might be thinking you are protecting others from disinformation. In reality you could be assisting the very thing you think you are protecting against.

Many people in the media are now parroting this line about Biden trying to defend democracy by going after MAGA. Obviously many of these are liars and know they are lying, but others will be convinced by this and repeat the same garbage.

We see the same thing in the church. It seems that you are not permitted to speak about the rapture in church even though we are seeing many prophecies from the Bible fulfilled in recent years, and even though the Bible talks about it, and even though Jesus commanded us to watch for His return.

They will often yell "false prophet" because the Lord warned us there would be false prophets. But that means that Jim Jones and David Koresh were a fulfillment of that prophecy. Why? This is Satan's attempt to distract and possibly deceive the believers, just like UFOs will be the great delusion after the rapture. This is evidence that talking about this means that "you are over the target".

There is a big difference between David Koresh who had secret teachings, pernicious ways, and an attempt to make merchandise of his followers with all the people on the internet speaking of the Lord's soon return. There are no secret teachings, no pernicious ways and in many cases no effort to monetize their speaking. A few sites on Youtube run ads and a couple of those I link to sell books. The Bible doesn't prohibit that. But at least 90% of the people I link to don't have any monetary interest in posting their video. No one is calling for you to "follow them" or to "join their cult" or to "donate to their cause".

I started this blog in 2021 thinking ten other people might want to read it as well, but in reality it was for me to gather and collect everything I could find on the subject. 18 months later I have had over 111,000 people visit this blog! Why? I don't advertise, where are they coming from? People are obviously interested in this topic and they aren't learning anything from their pastor at church.

Luke 18:18-43 Blind beggars

18 And a certain ruler asked him, saying, Good Teacher, what shall I do to inherit eternal life? 19 And Jesus said unto him, Why callest thou me good? none is good, save one, even God.

Big trap. When you go to learn karate everyone wants to learn how to punch but the first thing you learn is how to protect yourself from getting punched. You are not standing on your goodness, the minute you do that you open yourself up to attack. I was touched by something Michael Jordan said. He said if he had known in the beginning what he knows now he would never have allowed himself to be set up as an example in the “Be like Mike” campaign. They attacked him for going to Atlantic city. He didn’t break any laws. He didn’t violate his team's curfew. His gambling was legal and he paid his debts. What was the basis to attack him? Because he had set himself up as an example to young kids and some parents didn’t like his gambling. You will never succeed in gaining the kingdom based on your goodness. Don’t let anyone call you good. There is none good, only God. I am but a worm and an unprofitable servant. The best I can do is what I am supposed to do.

20 Thou knowest the commandments, Do not commit adultery, Do not kill, Do not steal, Do not bear false witness, Honor thy father and mother. 21 And he said, All these things have I observed from my youth up. 22 And when Jesus heard it, he said unto him, One thing thou lackest yet: sell all that thou hast, and distribute unto the poor, and thou shalt have treasure in heaven: and come, follow me. 23 But when he heard these things, he became exceeding sorrowful; for he was very rich.

Many people are worried, how can I have the assurance of salvation. You need a revelation that Jesus is your righteousness. As long as we are depending on our own righteousness we’ll fall short. "Sell what you have" that is what Paul talked about in Philippians where he said he counted everything as dung. All your achievements, all your accolades, all the nice things people say about you is dung. Because if you think that means something then when they attack you, insult you and vilify you that will also have to mean something. I saw Jimmy Kimmel try to mock Mike lindell and it failed because he had already counted everything as dung.

24 And Jesus seeing him said, How hardly shall they that have riches enter into the kingdom of God!

How is it that Christians lose all common sense. You sit in a meeting listening to a gang member who committed adultery, stole, killed and lied but who has since repented and been forgiven. He has given up all his money and is following the Lord as a faithful servant called to minister. He isn’t trusting in his righteousness. He has humbled himself, confessed his sins, doesn’t pretend to be good, and the Lord’s grace pours through him. Wake up. As long as you think you are “rich” or “righteous” you will fall short. The difference between you and him is that he is fully aware that he is not entering the kingdom based on his righteousness.

25 For it is easier for a camel to enter in through a needle’s eye, than for a rich man to enter into the kingdom of God.

Much of the kingdom is a matter of threading the needle. To walk the narrow road that few find is to thread that needle. To stand for righteousness but not in your own strength, to return again and again to an unrighteous judge asking him to “do his job” despite his insults is to thread the needle. To be the little seven year old with their hand up, I want to do it even though you make mistake after mistake.

26 And they that heard it said, Then who can be saved? 27 But he said, The things which are impossible with men are possible with God.

The point is you can never win this battle unless you are one with God. Rioting and looting is not one with God. To not worry about what men say but to just follow the Lord by faith, that is what it means to be one with God.

28 And Peter said, Lo, we have left our own, and followed thee. 29 And he said unto them, Verily I say unto you, There is no man that hath left house, or wife, or brethren, or parents, or children, for the kingdom of God’s sake, 30 who shall not receive manifold more in this time, and in the world to come eternal life.

Our life is a time of sowing, we reap in the next age. This is the fundamental issue with the prosperity gospel, they base their “faith” in what they have reaped in this age. That is foolish. The apostles are our examples, they were beaten, imprisoned, stoned, excommunicated and killed.

31 And he took unto him the twelve, and said unto them, Behold, we go up to Jerusalem, and all the things that are written through the prophets shall be accomplished unto the Son of man. 32 For he shall be delivered up unto the Gentiles, and shall be mocked, and shamefully treated, and spit upon: 33 and they shall scourge and kill him: and the third day he shall rise again. 34 And they understood none of these things; and this saying was hid from them, and they perceived not the things that were said.

Oh yeah, almost forgot, Jesus is the author of our faith. He was mocked, shamefully treated, spit upon, scourged and killed. Anyone who wants to follow Him needs to also take up their cross. Did you all notice the Lord said "we go up to Jerusalem"? I was always taught that the work the Lord did on the cross was accomplished by Him alone, we had no part in it, and yet here He says "we go up to Jerusalem". I believe that the Lord went to the cross 2,000 years ago and accomplished redemption for us, and that at the end of the age you will see His people as one follow Him and complete that work.

35 And it came to pass, as he drew nigh unto Jericho, a certain blind man sat by the way side begging: 36 and hearing a multitude going by, he inquired what this meant. 37 And they told him, that Jesus of Nazareth passeth by. 38 And he cried, saying, Jesus, thou son of David, have mercy on me. 39 And they that went before rebuked him, that he should hold his peace: but he cried out the more a great deal, Thou son of David, have mercy on me. 40 And Jesus stood, and commanded him to be brought unto him: and when he was come near, he asked him, 41 What wilt thou that I should do unto thee? And he said, Lord, that I may receive my sight. 42 And Jesus said unto him, Receive thy sight: thy faith hath made thee whole. 43 And immediately he received his sight, and followed him, glorifying God: and all the people, when they saw it, gave praise unto God.

Jericho was a cursed city. If these protestors would humble themselves to be one with this blind man then the Lord could heal them so that they could receive their sight. You want to be made whole, well the healing is right here in the word of God. BLM protestors asking for reparations, they are blind beggars.
