Romans 1:21-32 wicked, malicious, full of envy, deceit and malignity

21 Because that, when they knew God, they glorified him not as God, neither were thankful; but became vain in their imaginations, and their foolish heart was darkened. 22 Professing themselves to be wise, they became fools,

Wow, so true. All of these people who deny God all profess themselves to be wise. They claim that is mythology, that is out of date, we are modern, scientific, etc. Look at the total chaos that these fools will create.

23 And changed the glory of the incorruptible God into an image made like to corruptible man, and to birds, and four footed beasts, and creeping things. 24 Wherefore God also gave them up to uncleanness through the lusts of their own hearts, to dishonour their own bodies between themselves:

I saw a picture on the internet of what appeared to be an Iranian woman taking off those coverings they wear to reveal a red bikini bathing suit with another Iranian woman looking down in shame. If a woman parading around in her underwear on a beach is shameful just think of how shameful, unclean and dishonorable are the things done in the world today.

25 Who changed the truth of God into a lie, and worshipped and served the creature more than the Creator, who is blessed for ever. Amen.

When you walk according to the lusts of the flesh you are serving the creature more than the creator.

26 For this cause God gave them up unto vile affections: for even their women did change the natural use into that which is against nature: 27 And likewise also the men, leaving the natural use of the woman, burned in their lust one toward another; men with men working that which is unseemly, and receiving in themselves that recompence of their error which was meet.

So you are not allowed to say this. If for example I was to quote this verse it would be grounds to be fired from my job. This is a perfect example of holding down the truth in unrighteousness.

28 And even as they did not like to retain God in their knowledge, God gave them over to a reprobate mind, to do those things which are not convenient; 29 Being filled with all unrighteousness, fornication, wickedness, covetousness, maliciousness; full of envy, murder, debate, deceit, malignity; whisperers, 30 Backbiters, haters of God, despiteful, proud, boasters, inventors of evil things, disobedient to parents, 31 Without understanding, covenant breakers, without natural affection, implacable, unmerciful:

What a list! We saw this during the Kavanaugh hearings. That was wicked, malicious, full of envy, deceit and malignity. They are covenant breakers. When the Amy Coney Barrett hearings were going on they came up with the idea of “packing the court”. Appointing 11 or 13 justices to the Supreme court instead of 9. Every time they asked Biden about this he refused to answer saying we needed instead to focus on what the President is doing. He nominated someone to the Supreme court which is what the constitution says he is supposed to do. They know that but they argue that this is an election year and it is supposed to be the people who get a say. The people did get a say when they elected him president in 2016. Supreme court nominations were the key reason he was elected.

32 Who knowing the judgment of God, that they which commit such things are worthy of death, not only do the same, but have pleasure in them that do them.

The hypocrisy is off the hook. They claim that the President and Senate are doing something wrong by fulfilling their constitutional responsibilities while at the same time arguing to break the covenant by packing the court. They impeach the president on suspicion of collusion with a foreign government, but when presented with physical evidence that Joe Biden has been colluding with foreign governments for years they censor and hold down the truth in unrighteousness.

What is a cult?

Dictionary definitions are useless, if you compare the early church to the dictionary definition you would define the early church as a cult.

The Bible is also difficult to use as they don't use the word "cult". The Bible, both old and new testaments are far more focused on "false prophets", "antichrists", Jezebel and the synagogue of Satan.

However, in my opinion the very best book on exposing and dealing with cults in the New Testament is the book of James. It seems that every apostle had his ministry founded in his mistake (Peter denying the Lord, Mark backsliding, and Paul persecuting the Body of Christ). Among these James was a "cult leader" of the "concision".

A ministry is when the Lord rescued you from something you are then able to rescue others. The word that the Lord gave you which saved you, that is the word you can then share to save others. So there is no one better at helping us to be saved from a cult than James who was overtaken by this error.

In my opinion His book exposes the full range of cults including Hitler. But there is one verse that totally obliterates the religious cults, the kind of cults that most people equate with cult leaders and the type that most people are deceived by.

James 1:27 Religion that God our Father accepts as pure and faultless is this: to look after orphans and widows in their distress and to keep oneself from being polluted by the world.

A cult is basically an imbalanced response to the world. First, some will not look after orphans and widows. What that means is the cult is all about supporting the cult leader. You sell flowers at the airport to raise money for his ministry. This kind of religious cult will be so focused on supporting their false prophets ministry that they will exclude all other charitable work. Helping orphans and widows does not refer to the members of the church. If I have to be a member and give all my worldly goods to your organization for you to then help me you are not helping orphans and widows, you are using and abusing your members. But the second way in which people become unbalanced is the second portion "keep oneself from being polluted by the world". Very often the religious cult will do that, they are so strict about keeping themselves unblemished that they fully cut themselves off becoming dependent on that cult leader. It feeds a holier than thou attitude which would be inoculated against if they were caring for orphans and widows during the day. On the other hand you have those who do contribute to charities which care for widows and orphans but they are polluted by the world. We refer to this kind of cult as "the apostasy". These are religious leaders who portray themselves as pious and sanctified but tell you repeatedly how it is not necessary to listen to the Lord's word or the fellowship of the apostles. What they said about elders is out of date, what they said about head covering is out of date, what they said about sin and the flesh and hell is out of date. The Lord cared for tax collectors and prostitutes, but He wasn't polluted by the world. Today we have extremists on both sides, and their behavior is cultic.

If you meet with Christians who care for widows and orphans on the one hand, but on the other are very serious about not being polluted by the world then you will be able to find that narrow way that leads to life.

So consider this debate over the election audit. I think most people will agree that the poor which are often widows and orphans are the most oppressed. They were the victims of the mortgage meltdown, they were the ones who wind up fighting in wars and getting killed by roadside bombs. So which side of this debate is actually concerned with looking after orphans and widows? Do you think the huge multinational corporations like Coca Cola, MLB, and Facebook are concerned? It is possible that the 1% who have gotten rich and powerful by taking widows houses and giving long prayers as a pretense for being holier than thou have had a change of heart. But after the lies the NFL told us concerning CTE and the cigarette companies told us about their product not being a drug, and damage that sugar drinks have done to the nations health and MLB condemning the US while doing business with China, a country actively involved in genocide I am not inclined to listen to them. The multinational corporations are focused on polluting you with the world, so in a very fleshly way they are a cult. What I do know is this, if you control who counts the votes you control the democracy and this is what China and Russia do. Our democracy depends on free and fair elections and the only way to confirm that no one is stealing the elections is to do an audit. Rather than pay millions and millions of dollars to obstruct an audit why not simply pay thousands of dollars to have people observe every second of the audit? It would be a tiny fraction of the cost and you could be certain of the outcome. The only reason I can see to not do that is if you know there was fraud and it will be discovered.

James 4:4 What causes fights and quarrels among you? Don’t they come from your desires that battle within you? 2 You desire but do not have, so you kill. You covet but you cannot get what you want, so you quarrel and fight.

This battle we are seeing over having an audit done is because of sin. Someone has sinned and is willing to kill to cover it up. If you ignore it you will regret it, you will allow a killer to get away with murder. Therefore do the entire investigation under the intense spotlight. Make sure you monitor and observe what is going on at all times and let's get to the bottom of it because we are "directly over the target". We are touching on the sin that will expose this killer one way or the other.

Romans 8:1-30 -- A Christmas story

The Gift of Christ Jesus

1 Therefore, there is now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus, 2 because through Christ Jesus the law of the Spirit who gives life has set you free from the law of sin and death. 3 For what the law was powerless to do because it was weakened by the flesh,God did by sending his own Son in the likeness of sinful flesh to be a sin offering. And so he condemned sin in the flesh, 4 in order that the righteous requirement of the law might be fully met in us, who do not live according to the flesh but according to the Spirit.

It is fascinating to me that there are two distinct variations here, those that live according to the flesh and those who live according to the Spirit. No where is that more evident than in the celebration of Christmas for Christians versus the celebration of Xmas for non Christians. We have seen the “battle to put Christ back into Christmas”. This festival reveals those who have the mind of the spirit versus those who have the mind of the flesh.

5 Those who live according to the flesh have their minds set on what the flesh desires; but those who live in accordance with the Spirit have their minds set on what the Spirit desires.6 The mind governed by the flesh is death, but the mind governed by the Spirit is life and peace. 7 The mind governed by the flesh is hostile to God; it does not submit to God’s law, nor can it do so. 8 Those who are in the realm of the flesh cannot please God.

Once again, there are those whose mind is on the flesh. You have Christmas parties, gifts, and all kinds of ads to get you to buy stuff you don’t need. On the other hand you have beautiful Christmas plays and pageants, beautiful hymns of praise, candle light services and many other examples of those who are celebrating with the mind set on the Spirit. In this festival you are in the Spirit and Spirit is in you.

9 You, however, are not in the realm of the flesh but are in the realm of the Spirit, if indeed the Spirit of God lives in you. And if anyone does not have the Spirit of Christ, they do not belong to Christ. 10 But if Christ is in you, then even though your body is subject to death because of sin, the Spirit gives life because of righteousness. 11 And if the Spirit of him who raised Jesus from the dead is living in you, he who raised Christ from the dead will also give life to your mortal bodies because of his Spirit who lives in you. 12 Therefore, brothers and sisters, we have an obligation—but it is not to the flesh, to live according to it. 13 For if you live according to the flesh, you will die; but if by the Spirit you put to death the misdeeds of the body, you will live.

This holiday comes with an obligation. I have always been against the commercial aspects and worldly aspects of this holiday. Yet even so there is an obligation on you because your children will not understand and will think that being a Christian means you are stingy and cheap. So I have always given gifts to my children, I just don’t pretend that there is a “Santa”, I don’t watch the most egregious children’s Christmas shows with reindeer and Santa, and I try to purge the celebration from the demands of the flesh. I find it interesting that “Santa” is merely a rearrangement of the word “Satan”. The story is a lie and they try to force parents to lie to their children and then have children equate this lie with the Bible. If Santa flying around in a sleigh is a lie that was told to you by people you trusted, what about the rapture? It is an evil poison designed to inoculate young children from believing and receiving the gospel. However, according to the Spirit there is an obligation to treat others with love and charity during this time. We even call it “the Christmas spirit”.

The adoption to sonship = rapture of the overcomers

14 For those who are led by the Spirit of God Are the children of God. 15 The Spirit you received does not make you slaves, so that you live in fear again; rather, the Spirit you received brought about your adoption to sonship. And by him we cry, “Abba, Father.” 16 The Spirit himself testifies with our spirit that we are God’s children. 17 Now if we are children, then we are heirs—heirs of God and co-heirs with Christ, if indeed we share in his sufferings in order that we may also share in his glory.

Christmas is a holiday for children. My parents really went all out, I would be up at the crack of dawn and sure enough something had happened from the night before. New gifts were there and the stockings were filled. Those gifts testified that you were children of your parents and heirs. The rapture is a testimony that all who are raptured are children of God and co heirs with God. This term “adoption” refers to a legal declaration that you are heir to the father’s business. This is a big deal in families where a father has a great business. Some children of the father may find themselves disqualified from being heirs, that is sad, but it happens. At the rapture some will be left behind, they will get a second chance but it will still be sad. As it says in Amos if you are not raptured on that day it will be a bitter day for you. Your singing will turn to mourning.

The idea of Santa in the middle of the night coming down chimneys and giving gifts is the photographic negative of Jesus Christ rapturing all the overcomers who are likened to a treasure and the rapture to the Lord coming as a thief (by coming down the chimney?). In the world those the world despises will very often turn out to be the ones the Lord treasures. The “Cinderella” that does all the work so the evil sisters can go to all the balls. Imagine waking up on this Christmas day and instead of finding gifts under your tree you find all those who were doing all the work have been taken.

18 I consider that our present sufferings are not worth comparing with the glory that will be revealed in us. 19 For the creation waits in eager expectation for the children of God to be revealed. 20 For the creation was subjected to frustration, not by its own choice, but by the will of the one who subjected it, in hope21 that the creation itself will be liberated from its bondage to decay and brought into the freedom and glory of the children of God.

Christmas is all about wearing brand new Christmas clothes. There is a glorious celebration and children wait in eager expectation for this day. In the rapture we are “liberated from the bondage of decay”. He doesn’t just say “believers” but rather “creation”. What about our pets? If you were raptured what would happen to your dog or cat? Creation is waiting eagerly because they all will be liberated from decay.

22 We know that the whole creation has been groaning as in the pains of childbirth right up to the present time. 23 Not only so, but we ourselves, who have the firstfruits of the Spirit, groan inwardly as we wait eagerly for our adoption to sonship, the redemption of our bodies. 24 For in this hope we were saved. But hope that is seen is no hope at all. Who hopes for what they already have? 25 But if we hope for what we do not yet have, we wait for it patiently.

This is the hope of the gospel. The rapture is likened to the birth of the manchild. Once again Paul is talking about the hope that we wait for patiently, just like we had to wait each year for Christmas.

Pray for what we ought versus the “letter to Santa”.

26 In the same way, the Spirit helps us in our weakness. We do not know what we ought to pray for, but the Spirit himself intercedes for us through wordless groans. 27 And he who searches our hearts knows the mind of the Spirit, because the Spirit intercedes for God’s people in accordance with the will of God.

Another part of this religious festival is that kids are to write a letter to Santa praying for things they want. This can be fleshly or it can be spiritual with the Spirit interceding for God’s people in accordance with the will of God.

28 And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose. 29 For those God foreknew he also predestined to be conformed to the image of his Son, that he might be the firstborn among many brothers and sisters. 30 And those he predestined, he also called; those he called, he also justified; those he justified, he also glorified.

These are the things we need. We need to be conformed to the image of His Son, we need to know the firstborn Son of God and we need to be born again to be the children of God. We need to be called, we need to be justified, and after all that we need to be glorified. Again, the rapture is the glorification of those who have been born again, called and justified.

Romans 8:31-39 A festival of Gifts

31 What, then, shall we say in response to these things? If God is for us, who can be against us? 32 He who did not spare his own Son, but gave him up for us all—how will he not also, along with him, graciously give us all things? 33 Who will bring any charge against those whom God has chosen? It is God who justifies. 34 Who then is the one who condemns? No one. Christ Jesus who died—more than that, who was raised to life—is at the right hand of God and is also interceding for us. 35 Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? Shall trouble or hardship or persecution or famine or nakedness or danger or sword? 36 As it is written: “For your sake we face death all day long; we are considered as sheep to be slaughtered.”

This is another aspect of this holiday. “Santa knows whose been naughty and nice”. There is a judgement on this holiday. There are those who get “coal in stocking” signifying the fires of hell. But for others God “gives them all things”. The best gift is Jesus but with Jesus we also get a lot of other gifts.

37 No, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him who loved us. 38 For I am convinced that neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither the present nor the future, nor any powers,39 neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord.

This is a holiday that is all about the love of God. But it is also about conquering through Him who loved us. Conquering what? A major story is “the Christmas Carol” that talks about scrooge getting a new heart. This was then turned into a cartoon with “How the Grinch stole Christmas” by Dr. Seuss. This is a holiday where we conquer selfishness and greed and it speaks to the New Covenant where God gives us a new heart, a heart of flesh.

Rapture takes place during your religious festivals

Colossians 2:16 Therefore do not let anyone judge you by what you eat or drink, or with regard to a religious festival, a New Moon celebration or a Sabbath day. 17 These are a shadow of the things that were to come; the reality, however, is found in Christ.

This verse is a very powerful prophecy. So far we have seen that every festival from the Old Testament has been prophetic concerning the coming of Jesus Christ, His death, burial, resurrection, ascension, and outpouring of the Spirit on the church. We can also easily say that the feast of Atonement and the Feast of weeks will also be prophetic. Because of this I have been searching the scriptures to find a religious festival that would be prophetic for the rapture.

9 “In that day,” declares the Sovereign Lord, “I will make the sun go down at noon and darken the earth in broad daylight. 10 I will turn your religious festivals into mourning and all your singing into weeping. I will make all of you wear sackcloth and shave your heads. I will make that time like mourning for an only son and the end of it like a bitter day.

This verse supported the idea that the day of the Lord appears during “your religious festivals”. But it is plural, this is referring to more than one festival. Also these festivals involve singing. There were numerous other reasons why this pointed to Hanukkah, but Hanukkah and Christmas are two religious festivals that come at the same season. Also, although Hanukkah and many of the religious festivals are not particularly noted for singing, Christmas is with Christmas carols being a key tradition to celebrate this holiday. This caroling is done on Christmas eve, December 24th. Now what is quite interesting is that in 2024 Hanukkah begins at sundown on December 24th. Hanukkah is a celebration that lasts 8 days and Christmas is often referred to as the "12 days of Christmas". In 2024 there is a total solar eclipse over the US (April 8th) that makes a cross with the total solar eclipse that was over the US in 2017. As a rule a solar eclipse refers to God's judgement on the world. So it is close to a 7 year spread. Many think that the Day of the Lord began with the great sign in the heaven on festival of Trumpets 2017 and this began the ten years referred to as the ten days of awe. We also had a solar eclipse in the midst of the festival of Hanukkah, December 14th, 2020. I find all the dates very confusing but the calendar is very precise and critical. It seems to my understanding that the first seven years of the Day of the Lord is when the rapture of the New Testament believers takes place and at the end of the ten years that is when Israel is taken. So these two solar eclipses that make an X over the US suggest the judgement on gentiles and Christians during the first seven years.

Hebrews 10:25 Not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as the manner of some is; but exhorting one another: and so much the more, as ye see the day approaching.

If we are seeing the day approaching we should be assembling together. However, Joel says that the sign that the day is approaching is a pandemic that causes us not to gather together. There is really only one church meeting that is required for us to keep and that is the Lord’s table, this sabbath day for Christians is a celebration of the coronation of Jesus and also of the wedding of Jesus, both of which are part of the shadow of the rapture of the Bride. There are really only two big yearly festivals given to Christians to keep. The first is “Easter” which celebrates the crucifixion and resurrection of Jesus. That is where our year begins and that is a celebration of new life and new beginnings. This festival coincides with Passover. The second festival is Christmas which is at the end of the year and superficially is a celebration of Jesus birth even though we know that Jesus was not born on this day. Pagan holidays for the resurrection of the Sun were adopted for this celebration. Our year begins with the new birth at Easter and we all look forward to Christmas, the favorite day of the year.

Interestingly I saw that 2 Corinthians a book on the New Testament ministry is all about the festival of Hanukkah. Paul equated the story of Hanukkah with the New Testament ministry. The purpose of this ministry is that the Lord’s will would be done on earth as it is in heaven and that His kingdom would come. Each day of that festival there is more light. We saw the “fulfillment” of this during Hanukkah this year as each day new light concerning the corruption and lies of those in power trying to wipe out the pure worship of God was revealed. But now it seems the gospels are equated with the story of Christmas. Romans is the gospel according to Paul and chapter 8 is the “tip of the spear” when talking about the overcomers, those in the first rapture.

Also I am using the term "rapture" to refer to the 7 years in which the church and all the believers are taken. I don't think it will be in one single event and for all I know there could be multiple days and events.

Rapture? Day of the Lord? The Last days?

I think the proper term is "Day of the Lord" but I have found there is so much confusion over that term that I don't like to use it. The Last days is far too general, the apostles said we were in the last days two thousand years ago. Rapture refers to an amazing never before seen event (the graves were opened at the Lord's resurrection, and you can argue that the Lord's resurrection and ascension was the first of many to be raptured). Still I think it is fair to say it is a "never before seen event" because there are Bible verses that say as much. So yes, the Day of the Lord is probably the better term, but I have heard many different interpretations about this being seven years, ten years or even fourteen years. So when I use the term rapture I am referring to the period of time at the end of the age that begins with the first rapture and ends with Israel being saved as a nation.

Romans 10:1-17 -- Faith comes by hearing and hearing by the word of God

10 Brothers and sisters, my heart’s desire and prayer to God for the Israelites is that they may be saved. 2 For I can testify about them that they are zealous for God, but their zeal is not based on knowledge. 3 Since they did not know the righteousness of God and sought to establish their own, they did not submit to God’s righteousness. 4 Christ is the culmination of the law so that there may be righteousness for everyone who believes.

This chapter presents the way of salvation and it begins with the example of the Jewish people. So learn from them, they sought to establish their own righteousness and did not submit to God’s righteousness. If you are zealous for God that is great, but your zealousness needs to be based on a knowledge of Jesus Christ, the righteousness of God. You cannot possibly understand the law unless you know Christ, He is the culmination of the law. What the Lord has done is for everyone who believes, that we may be righteous in Jesus.

5 Moses writes this about the righteousness that is by the law: “The person who does these things will live by them.” 6 But the righteousness that is by faith says: “Do not say in your heart, ‘Who will ascend into heaven?’” (that is, to bring Christ down) 7 “or ‘Who will descend into the deep?’” (that is, to bring Christ up from the dead). 8 But what does it say? “The word is near you; it is in your mouth and in your heart,” that is, the message concerning faith that we proclaim: 9 If you declare with your mouth, “Jesus is Lord,” and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved.

There are two very different approaches to righteousness with God. In one approach you are assembling a bunch of rules on how you must live in order to establish your own righteousness. In the second approach you are rebuked from this approach. It isn’t about you climbing some mountain, or descending into some pit, Jesus has already been crucified, died and resurrected. Righteousness by faith is not about you doing anything but rather you receive in your heart that God has raised Jesus from the dead. If that word is in your heart then the word “Jesus is Lord” will bubble up within you. You don’t need to hope to fulfill some requirements to be righteous and be saved. No, if you believe that God has already raised Jesus from the dead and if you testify that Jesus is Lord with your own mouth, then you will be saved. It is a promise that you can take to the judgement seat of Christ.

10 For it is with your heart that you believe and are justified, and it is with your mouth that you profess your faith and are saved. 11 As Scripture says, “Anyone who believes in him will never be put to shame.”

We all have experiences where we were put to shame. What happened? I had an experience where the Lord told me to speak something but I refused. Had I not rejected that word but been faithful to speak it as told I would not have been put to shame. Let me use a more worldly example to help people understand this. During a Superbowl, the championship game in the NFL, the entire game had come down to this last few plays. Seattle had the ball on the goal line. If they score they win. The quarterback threw the ball and the defensive back made a truly great play to intercept that ball. This player was a rookie. A few days before the Superbowl they had been in practice and they had been running that exact same play in practice and the coach had been on him about how he was to defend it. He hadn’t done it in practice but here in the game he won the game for them. You take that word, you believe it, you receive it in your heart, and then you act on it. If you do that you will be saved.

12 For there is no difference between Jew and Gentile—the same Lord is Lord of all and richly blesses all who call on him, 13 for, “Everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved.”

Stop looking at yourself! You have way too high an opinion of yourself. Your salvation is not dependent on who you are, or who your parents are, or your culture, or what clothes you wear, what songs you like. We are all different, but that does not matter, it is the same Lord who is Lord of all. He is Lord of the kid in the gang, or who grew up on the street or the one with the trust fund. Jesus is the one who richly blesses all who call on Him. If salvation was of you, then you would be the one who would be glorified. Salvation is of Jesus, He is the one who is glorified.

14 How, then, can they call on the one they have not believed in? And how can they believe in the one of whom they have not heard? And how can they hear without someone preaching to them? 15 And how can anyone preach unless they are sent? As it is written: “How beautiful are the feet of those who bring good news!”

This is the part that we can play. We have nothing to do with our own salvation, but we can play a role in bringing the good news to others. Do you want to hear the word of God? Do you want to instill faith in others? Do you want to be a “sent one”, an ambassador of the gospel? That is what you are and what you are doing when you share the good news that Jesus is Lord and that God has raised Him from the dead with others.

16 But not all the Israelites accepted the good news. For Isaiah says, “Lord, who has believed our message?” 17 Consequently, faith comes from hearing the message, and the message is heard through the word about Christ.

What a great revelation. ‘My faith is so weak, so small, I wish I was strong in the faith but I am not.’ Faith comes by hearing and hearing by the word of God. If you feel you are weak in the faith then the real problem is that you are not in the word of God. If you are physically weak, then go to the gym. Read the Bible, pray over the Bible, listen to sermons, fellowship with others, sing hymns and songs of worship. Faith comes by hearing and hearing by the word of God.

Romans 10:18-21 The one thing you can't do if you want to be saved.

18 But I ask: Did they not hear? Of course they did: “Their voice has gone out into all the earth, their words to the ends of the world.”

This is a very big prophecy. Isaiah prophesied of this, Jesus said that the gospel would be preached throughout the entire earth and then the end would come, and here Paul reiterates this. This age had a mission, the Lord said “I will build my church”. That was His overarching mission for the age. Within that mission preaching the gospel to the entire earth was a critical component. Right now we are seeing all kinds of protests against governments, they are claiming that the government has not treated them justly. Perhaps it was because of who they were, or where they lived, or the color of their skin, or the money in their bank account. These governments are all corrupt, they have plundered their people, so there is no reconciliation. If they confess the sins and make it right they will have to give all that plunder back. But meanwhile the gospel has been preached throughout the entire earth. The church has been built and has also struggled with this. “There is no Jew nor Gentile, no slave nor free, no male or female.” The righteousness of God is the foundation that we stand on in the church. Didn't everyone hear the gospel? Yes, but not all received it.

19 Again I ask: Did Israel not understand? First, Moses says, “I will make you envious by those who are not a nation; I will make you angry by a nation that has no understanding.” 20 And Isaiah boldly says, “I was found by those who did not seek me; I revealed myself to those who did not ask for me.”

This entire chapter on the way of salvation is framed within the context of Israel being rejected. They heard the good news but didn’t accept it. The problem is not that they couldn’t understand it, people with no understanding received it. The problem was not that they weren’t seeking hard enough, people who weren’t seeking at all found Jesus. The problem was not that they didn’t pray enough, asking for a revelation, Jesus revealed Himself to those who didn’t even ask. The problem was envy. They wanted to have their own righteousness. They wanted to be the one who climbed the mountain, the one who went into the pit and climbed out by their own strength. Think about how angry they are that they have studied, and prayed, and sought so hard and yet they have been left far behind by the church that Jesus has built.

21 But concerning Israel he says, “All day long I have held out my hands to a disobedient and obstinate people.”

To declare that “Jesus is Lord” indicates that you obey Him as Lord. Being baptized is simply one example of this obedience, but our entire Christian life should be one of obeying the Lord’s speaking to us, even if we think we are too smart for that word. Having an attitude that the word that others obey is not something you need to obey is to be obstinate. Disobedient and obstinate both indicate that you are proud and arrogant. “Jesus is Lord” not you. Believe it and speak it and you shall be saved. You let the word come into your heart, get rooted in your heart until it flows right out of your mouth. Do that and you shall be saved.

Let’s make this really simple. The world is a heap of collapse, everyone trying to climb on top of others to get to the top of that heap. For thousands of years human history has been filled with those who want to be called “the greatest”. We have forgotten many of them, and many others had their lives end tragically or violently. In the end none of those people are able to save us. You can call on their name, read their words, it won’t matter, you won’t get saved. We have now come to a moment in history where the entire world will realize we need the savior. We’ll have famines, plagues and wars and to make it even worse we’ll realize that our rulers have played us. They took our jobs, our houses, our money and even our children to make themselves rich. Every empire has ended in a heap of collapse.

So then, if you want to be saved there is one thing you can’t do. Many people talk about the things that you need to do to get saved. You need to pray, yet some people have gotten saved who didn’t pray. You need to seek the Lord, yet some people have gotten saved who weren’t seeking for the Lord. You need to understand the gospel, yet there are people who have been saved who don’t have any understanding. In truth the Lord has already done everything you need, you simply need to receive it. But there is one thing that you can do that will prevent you from being saved. If you seek to have your own righteousness, if you pray to have your own righteousness, if your labor is for your own righteousness. As long as you want to be Lord you will not be able to call “Lord Jesus”. As long as you are envious of Jesus as Lord you won’t be able to receive His words. Your pride and arrogance will make you disobedient and obstinate.

But suppose that isn’t you. You are very happy to receive the work Jesus has done for you and to worship Him as Lord. However, you are weak in the faith, what can you do? Faith comes by hearing and hearing by the word of God. How much word can you hear? You can listen to hymns and songs of praise. You can listen to sermons. You can fellowship with others. You can read the word. You can be as strong in the faith as you want. You can pray, seek the Lord, and study the word. All of these things can help you grow in grace and become strong in the faith.

“What not to do if you want to be saved”, some will assume there is some big sin. The “unforgivable sin”. So let’s address that. Matthew 12:31 For this reason I say unto you, Every sin and injurious speaking shall be forgiven to men, but speaking injuriously of the Spirit shall not be forgiven to men. 32 And whosoever shall have spoken a word against the Son of man, it shall be forgiven him; but whosoever shall speak against the Holy Spirit, it shall not be forgiven him, neither in this age nor in the coming [one]. The Pharisees had rejected Jesus saying that He cast out demons by the prince of the demons. They were envious of Him. They wanted to have their own righteousness. They wanted to be Lord. As a result they couldn’t hear Him, they rejected Him and they were disobedient and obstinate. This is the one thing you can’t do if you want to be saved.

For those who like to play with numbers

12 Blessed is the one who waits for and reaches the end of the 1,335 days.

From the Revelation 12 sign in the heavens on 9/23/2017 it is exactly 1,335 days until May 19th, 2021 which is the first day after Pentecost.

Also, it is 26,666 days from May 14th 1948 to May 17th, 2021 (Pentecost). If you divide this by 30 (a prophetic month) you get 888 months. The number 888 is the number for the name Jesus. Actually it is 888.8666 months. The 888 represents Jesus, the next 8 is a new beginning. When you take these away all you are left with is 666 the antichrist.

According to the Torah calendar the creation day is exactly 2,191,500 days till May 19th, 2021 (if the rapture is on Pentecost that would be the first day that those who are raptured are in heaven). Divide that number by 365.25, the number of days in a year and you get exactly 6,000 years. The rapture is supposed to be the start of the millenial reign.

In typology King David reigned in Hebron for seven years until Jerusalem (the Jews) recognized him as king.

Romans 12:1-10 -- True and Proper worship

1 Therefore, I urge you, brothers and sisters, in view of God’s mercy, to offer your bodies as a living sacrifice, holy and pleasing to God—this is your true and proper worship.

Let’s look at what true and proper worship is.

2 Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God’s will is—his good, pleasing and perfect will.

Being conformed to the world does not just refer to Hollywood, or Wall Street but also to the religious world. The world tries to tell Christians what “true and proper” worship is, instead let’s look at what the fellowship of the apostles is.

3 For by the grace given me I say to every one of you: Do not think of yourself more highly than you ought, but rather think of yourself with sober judgment, in accordance with the faith God has distributed to each of you.

When 70 million Americans are called “deplorable” and “irredeemable” and “chumps” then know that this is not sober judgment. God has distributed to each one of us. In the world the talking heads on CNN want to be able to tell you what to think, that is the world. In the true and proper worship we know that God has distributed to each one, so we need to be open to one another. If you disrespect these 70 million as being “ignorant” or “racists” then you are thinking more highly of yourself than you ought. No doubt we have ignorant people in the US and we have racist people, but when you dismiss 50% of the population with these broad brush judgements you are thinking of yourself more highly than you ought.

4 For just as each of us has one body with many members, and these members do not all have the same function, 5 so in Christ we, though many, form one body, and each member belongs to all the others. 6 We have different gifts, according to the grace given to each of us. If your gift is prophesying, then prophesy in accordance with your faith; 7 if it is serving, then serve; if it is teaching, then teach; 8 if it is to encourage, then give encouragement; if it is giving, then give generously; if it is to lead, do it diligently; if it is to show mercy, do it cheerfully.

I have been very impressed in this battle against the election fraud how there are many different functions in the body. Pastor Dana Coverstone prophesied about this with his dreams. Others translated those dreams to the Body (Dream Exegesis). Still others have been serving, doing everything necessary to organize and set up these rallies and protests. Still others like Steve Bannon’s war room are there encouraging everyone to stand strong, to “brace yourself” as Pastor Dana Coverstone’s dreams repeated over and over. This requires that some give, give of their time and their money. Going to these rallies to me is an opportunity to be a living sacrifice. But the politicians are all responding to the phone calls and emails. Calling your representative and asking for justice just like the widow with the unrighteous judge. Some are taking the lead and they need to be diligent. These are the ones who are involved in the lawsuits. I listened to the testimony of one man who spent 25 or 26 hours to meticulously break down election results so that he could analyze them statistically. They are tracking down people to see if they requested ballots, they are checking voter registration records and death records and change of name records. They are taking affidavits from poll workers and those involved in the fraud. Finally there is the matter of showing mercy. There are a lot of people who were peripheral to the fraud, yes they were involved, but they regret it and would like to confess and become a witness. Show mercy to these ones, welcome them and encourage them.

9 Love must be sincere. Hate what is evil; cling to what is good.

This is true and proper worship. You cannot wink at sin and still have “true and proper worship”. You cannot ignore evil and still have “true and proper worship”. These rallies are not about a man, they are about clinging to what is good. They often chant “hold the line” but that means we are not going to give up on our constitution and our rights to a free and fair election, free speech, and freedom of worship.

10 Be devoted to one another in love.

I did not understand why people voted for Trump, but on the other hand I did understand why people didn’t vote for Hillary Clinton. But the Bible says to be devoted to one another in love. So I asked them and I listened so I could understand. NAFTA took their jobs and the mortgage crisis took their homes. It made sense to me.

Honor one another above yourselves.

They figured out what was going on before I did. In the stock market the way you take over companies is to drive the price down, not up. This pandemic will enable them to gain control. It has been a tremendous boon to Amazon.com. Zoom has had a huge increase due to this shutdown. The internet has been a huge beneficiary of the school shutdowns and forcing every kid in the country to sit in front of laptops on the internet. People call this “the great reset”. You will be required to get the vaccine in order to take part in many different activities. They will track this by injecting a small RFID chip into you. This is the mark of the beast. The stimulus plans to keep the economy running during the shutdowns will bankrupt the US and cause us to move to a worldwide digital currency. If you don’t see this as the explanation for everything that is going on then you must conclude that they are acting irrationally, foolishly, and willfully damaging their own country.

Romans 12:11-21 Overcome Evil with Good

11 Never be lacking in zeal, but keep your spiritual fervor, serving the Lord.

Stand up for righteousness! Brace yourself! Do everything that you do as unto the Lord.

12 Be joyful in hope, patient in affliction, faithful in prayer.

I am full of hope. I see what is happening in the US right now to be the fulfillment of what happened in the time of Esther with Haman preparing to wipe out the people of God. Imagine what would happen if they could steal elections, pack the supreme court, and outlaw the gospel. There are already places around the earth calling the gospel “hate speech”. China has already put Xi’s portrait in every Christian church sanctuary and they are required to teach from his writings and to sing the national anthem in their worship. They tried to make it illegal for people of God to express their faith (the baker who was required to make a special cake for a same sex wedding, but ultimately won in the Supreme court). I also feel we need to be patient in this battle. Right now I see them in their walled cities hiding behind their walls hoping the armies of Israel will go away. But as the evidence of fraud, corruption, treason and obstruction of justice comes out we can prosecute them and convict them. We just need to stay strong in prayer, believe in the Lord and know that it is not by might or by power but by His Spirit that we will overcome.

13 Share with the Lord’s people who are in need. Practice hospitality. 14 Bless those who persecute you; bless and do not curse.

I have been to five rallies and in every one you see these ones who persecute us. They scream “fascist” at us, they attack the elderly and women and children. In Atlanta they massed into a group of about twenty with homemade armor and baseball bats. Do not be baited into cursing back at them. Instead bless them.

15 Rejoice with those who rejoice; mourn with those who mourn. 16 Live in harmony with one another. Do not be proud, but be willing to associate with people of low position. Do not be conceited.
It is a joy to associate with the “deplorables” and the “irredeemable” and the “chumps”. I don’t see myself as a “Trump supporter” because I serve the Lord Jesus. But I do see myself as someone willing to associate with those of low position. I see my worship involving being joyful in hope, patient in affliction and faithful in prayer.

17 Do not repay anyone evil for evil. Be careful to do what is right in the eyes of everyone. 18 If it is possible, as far as it depends on you, live at peace with everyone. 19 Do not take revenge, my dear friends, but leave room for God’s wrath, for it is written: “It is mine to avenge; I will repay,” says the Lord.

These are easy mistakes to make. Look at the BLM and ANTIFA protests. They have stated that they are justified in repaying evil for evil. They have not been careful at all to do what is right in the eyes of everyone. Right in the eyes of everyone, not just your little group. They have taken revenge. Instead in these rallies there are those holding up the word of God as the light, they hold up Jesus as king of kings, we pray, and we sing hymns. We trust in the Lord to repay. We made a covenant with God 400 years ago with the Mayflower compact. We are honoring that covenant to be a light on a hill, the New Jerusalem as a testimony to the whole world and we expect Him to also honor that covenant.

20 On the contrary: “If your enemy is hungry, feed him; if he is thirsty, give him something to drink. In doing this, you will heap burning coals on his head.”

This is why I have repeatedly called on Joe Biden to honor his word to unify and heal us. Stand up for righteousness that all these contested states would have a complete audit so that the whole country can trust in the election and see that you are truly their president.

21 Do not be overcome by evil, but overcome evil with good.

Whoa! True and proper worship is to overcome evil with good! They have shut down church services, so let’s have true and proper worship in the streets on the sabbath!

1John1 What is the nature of the church?

1 That which was from the beginning, which we have heard, which we have seen with our eyes, which we have looked at and our hands have touched—this we proclaim concerning the Word of life. 2 The life appeared; we have seen it and testify to it, and we proclaim to you the eternal life, which was with the Father and has appeared to us. 3 We proclaim to you what we have seen and heard, so that you also may have fellowship with us. And our fellowship is with the Father and with his Son, Jesus Christ. 4 We write this to make our joy complete.

Don’t let anyone infringe on your right to proclaim the gospel, to speak it, to write it. Look at this and how do you describe the church? They are those who from the beginning are speaking what they heard and what they saw. They are focused on the word, handling the word and proclaiming the word of life. This is their testimony and they share it with you so that you can have fellowship with them, and their fellowship is with the Father and Son. That is the church in a nutshell: fellowship and worship of God, proclaiming the gospel, and looking to bring others into that fellowship.

Light and Darkness, Sin and Forgiveness

5 This is the message we have heard from him and declare to you: God is light; in him there is no darkness at all. 6 If we claim to have fellowship with him and yet walk in the darkness, we lie and do not live out the truth. 7 But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus, his Son, purifies us from all sin.

The message is very simple, but people are very gullible. Everyone is going to claim to have the same message, no one comes out and admits they are full of darkness. So then the message and the walk must be in agreement, you can’t claim to be in the light and yet walk in darkness. One way we know you are walking in the light is that your sins are exposed to the light, which provokes a repentance, a confession, and the cleansing of the blood.

8 If we claim to be without sin, we deceive ourselves and the truth is not in us. 9 If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just and will forgive us our sins and purify us from all unrighteousness. 10 If we claim we have not sinned, we make him out to be a liar and his word is not in us.

I heard Candace Owens speak to a large group on a college campus. They asked her how she could support Trump given the sinful things he has said. They then provided a few quotes for reference. She responded that “she hates hypocrisy” and then pointed out that same people feigning outrage at what Trump has said have said the same and worse in their rap songs and in their private life. These people who are claiming to be without sin are liars. Everyone is going to tell you they are in the light, but if they are walking in darkness they are a liar. In the same way if someone claims they are without sin they are a liar. Rather look for someone like David who although he was a sinner, he confessed and repented of His sins.

Romans 13 -- The day is near

1 Let everyone be subject to the governing authorities, for there is no authority except that which God has established. The authorities that exist have been established by God.

This has been a wonderful lesson this last year. When George Floyd died it sparked all kinds of riots and looting, yet now we know that he died of a drug overdose and there was no physical evidence from the coroner that the policeman kneeling on him killed him. We also know that his behavior from the drugs was why he had to be restrained in the first place. However, despite all that we also saw Chauvin's depraved lack of concern for a man dying while he kneeled on him for 9 minutes and so he was convicted of murder. What did the rioting and looting accomplish? After January 6 there were many accusations against the people in the Trump rally that they were dangerous rioters and insurrectionists. We now know that only about 8% of those arrested were in fact Trump supporters. The rest that were arrested had ties to various extremist groups, both Antifa and White supremacists groups, but not pro Trump. We heard from AOC how she felt threatened even though she was half a mile away in a different building. We heard that the rioters bludgeoned a cop to death, which was then exposed as a lie. They changed the lie to say he died from being exposed to Bear Spray and yet refuse to provide even the slightest evidence that this is true. When the death certificate came out we learned he died of a stroke completely unrelated to the January 6th event. Bottom line, it doesn’t matter what side of the political aisle you are on, wait for the facts, be subject to the governing authorities. If you jump to some kind of snap conclusion to justify criminal behavior you will be fighting against God and will be put to shame.

2 Consequently, whoever rebels against the authority is rebelling against what God has instituted, and those who do so will bring judgment on themselves.

There were those who were outraged at the hypocrisy and unrighteousness of this last impeachment. It violated the US constitution. But it turns out that rebelling against the constitution is rebelling against God who instituted it. Now we see judgement being brought on those who tried to bring judgement on others. The only charge that seemed to really matter was what they did when they knew the capital was under threat. However, Pelosi is responsible for that security. When the threats were made known she rejected troops from Trump. She was the one who had inadequate security and she is the one who is responsible for rejecting additional security.

3 For rulers hold no terror for those who do right, but for those who do wrong. Do you want to be free from fear of the one in authority? Then do what is right and you will be commended.

Recently the threats were made that they wanted to count all those who attended Trump’s rally as participating in insurrection. They were going to banks and credit card companies to see who rented a room and who bought gas in the vicinity. But now we know that of the hundreds of thousands of people at that rally there might have been less than ten who violated the law by trespassing in the Capital. The vast majority of those involved in the riot did not attend the rally. Not only so, but none of them were guilty of murder as was originally suggested. To hold a public protest that is peaceful is a constitutional right in this country. Despite the threats you can be free from fear.

4 For the one in authority is God’s servant for your good. But if you do wrong, be afraid, for rulers do not bear the sword for no reason. They are God’s servants, agents of wrath to bring punishment on the wrongdoer.

In a bizarre twist some of the nominees to Biden’s cabinet and administration have claimed that the riot at the capital rises to the level of domestic terrorism but attacking, burning, and destroying other government properties done by Antifa this last year doesn’t. Why? Because those riots were at night. Obviously that logic is absurd and sure enough 71% of Americans now view Antifa as domestic terrorists. The other 29% responded that they were clueless as to who Antifa is. Since this country is a “Democratic Republic” the will of the rulers is expressed by the will of the people.

5 Therefore, it is necessary to submit to the authorities, not only because of possible punishment but also as a matter of conscience.

That’s right, don’t even try to come up with some scriptural excuse for why you don’t need to submit. Lebron James and the NBA need to apologize. They incited a riot in Wisconsin and are now paying the price. They may not be prosecuted in a criminal court but they have already been convicted in the court of public opinion. Ratings have plummeted since their behavior. For example the ratings at the Golden Globes were down 64% from a year ago despite the fact that people have been locked up in their homes, are bored out of their minds, and have nothing better to do than watch it. But people are not interested in listening to these people preaching to them because they know they are hypocrites. The same was true of the Oscars.

6 This is also why you pay taxes, for the authorities are God’s servants, who give their full time to governing. 7 Give to everyone what you owe them: If you owe taxes, pay taxes; if revenue, then revenue; if respect, then respect; if honor, then honor.

They are trying to legalize abortion right up until birth. They also want our tax dollars to pay for abortions worldwide. Once again I feel this is a heinous sin. But we have heard many heinous things from our elected officials and I have to believe that they are not the ones in charge but God is. We have seen time and time again that elected representatives are caught and dealt with when they commit crimes. Look at what is happening to Cuomo. Ten months ago people were outraged by his mandate to put people sick with Covid into the nursing homes. They said it would cause thousands of deaths. Well, he is being prosecuted and will be forced out of office and may be criminally prosecuted. Likewise with Newsom and Whitmer, they also will likely be forced from office. You cannot use what Cuomo did to justify not paying taxes because those taxes also paid for all those people who are now doing their job to remove him from office.

Love Fulfills the Law

8 Let no debt remain outstanding, except the continuing debt to love one another, for whoever loves others has fulfilled the law.

Right now the love of the many has grown cold. The silver lining of this is that showing love to one another and to your neighbor will shine even brighter against this black background.

9 The commandments, “You shall not commit adultery,” “You shall not murder,” “You shall not steal,” “You shall not covet,” and whatever other command there may be, are summed up in this one command: “Love your neighbor as yourself.” 10 Love does no harm to a neighbor. Therefore love is the fulfillment of the law.

You don’t actually fulfill the law simply by “not doing something”. You fulfill the law by loving your neighbor as yourself. It doesn’t matter if they agree with your politics, it doesn’t even matter if they have ridiculed and insulted you.

The Day Is Near

11 And do this, understanding the present time: The hour has already come for you to wake up from your slumber, because our salvation is nearer now than when we first believed.

All these things that you are seeing happen that are outrageous, or absurd, these things are there to wake you up.

12 The night is nearly over; the day is almost here. So let us put aside the deeds of darkness and put on the armor of light. 13 Let us behave decently, as in the daytime, not in carousing and drunkenness, not in sexual immorality and debauchery, not in dissension and jealousy.

Behind the injustice and illogical behavior are people living in the flesh. Carousing, drunkenness, sexual immorality and debauchery are all reasons that some people will go to great lengths to cover up and hide their behavior. The Lincoln Project was a group that published the ugliest and nastiest attacks against Trump and the MAGA movement. Well now we know that these ones were pedophiles. The attack was motivated because they were concerned that the Trump administration would do their job to uncover their sins and prosecute them.

14 Rather, clothe yourselves with the Lord Jesus Christ, and do not think about how to gratify the desires of the flesh.

Get dressed. The Lord has given you the wake up call, now it is time to clothe yourself with the Lord Jesus Christ. Every day I want to have a testimony that I belong to Jesus, not simply because of the things I don’t do but even more because of the things that I do do.

1Jn 2:1-13 -- They are trying to lead you astray

1 My dear children, I write this to you so that you will not sin. But if anybody does sin, we have an advocate with the Father—Jesus Christ, the Righteous One. 2 He is the atoning sacrifice for our sins, and not only for ours but also for the sins of the whole world.

I think that there are many Christians who have been duped. But even if that is true, when we realize we have been duped we have an advocate with the Father, Jesus made His sacrifice for our sins, simply confess and repent. I am constantly reminded of a time when I was fully duped. We were at Boy Scout camp during the summer. Someone went into the tent of the Scoutmaster and dumped his bed off the side of a small bluff. The scoutmaster was sure it was a member of my patrol so I was involved as an advocate for him. He fully convinced me he was innocent and so I was very strong to defend him. Finally, the scoutmaster promised amnesty, no penalty, just wanted to know the truth. Instantly this kid confessed it was him, I had been duped, and I felt like an idiot.

3 We know that we have come to know him if we keep his commands. 4 Whoever says, “I know him,” but does not do what he commands is a liar, and the truth is not in that person. 5 But if anyone obeys his word, love for God is truly made complete in them. This is how we know we are in him: 6 Whoever claims to live in him must live as Jesus did.

So then how do we discern a liar? In the case of a Christian you can claim to know Jesus, but it isn’t based on what you say, but what you do. We have seen all kinds of people claim to be “prophets of God” and “great evangelists”, etc. But when we see they don’t keep the commandments of the Lord we know they are a liar. The same is true of any liar, the thing to focus on is what they do, not what they claim. How many times have politicians promised to do something in a campaign but then did nothing when they were elected. The Lord said you would know them by their fruits, by what they do, what they produce. Not by what they promise to produce.

7 Dear friends, I am not writing you a new command but an old one, which you have had since the beginning. This old command is the message you have heard. 8 Yet I am writing you a new command; its truth is seen in him and in you, because the darkness is passing and the true light is already shining. 9 Anyone who claims to be in the light but hates a brother or sister is still in the darkness. 10 Anyone who loves their brother and sister lives in the light, and there is nothing in them to make them stumble. 11 But anyone who hates a brother or sister is in the darkness and walks around in the darkness. They do not know where they are going, because the darkness has blinded them.

That is the key point. If you are filled with hate you are in darkness. I am writing this on Nov 5th, we are still sorting out the Presidential election held on Nov. 3. But I got this text from a person who will remain anonymous “(Don’t let the door hit your fat a** on the way out, you repulsive orange turd of a human slab of garbage.) Oh and take your ugly family of F**tards with u, vile filth” [I have modified some of the language with the * so that this post is not flagged]. We may not know who, or what or how we got deceived, but if you are filled with hate like this, know that you are in darkness.

12 I am writing to you, dear children, because your sins have been forgiven on account of his name.

I have seen that it is particularly young people who spend a lot of time on Twitter, Tik Tok, and Facebook who are the most extreme in their expression of hate. So know this, your sins have been forgiven, plead the Lord’s blood, confess and repent and you will receive this forgiveness.

13 I am writing to you, fathers, because you know him who is from the beginning.

I have noticed that the older people, even those with very strong political beliefs one way or the other are much more cautious about this kind of hate speech. Perhaps it is our experience of being duped in the past that has made us more prudent. Again, referring to this example of the election I know that neither of these candidates is without sin and I also know that tomorrow I could learn something totally horrifying about either one. I have come to learn there is only one Savior, Jesus Christ, and His ways are not my ways. When you purify gold or silver you melt it with extreme heat, and then the impurities which are light and less dense float to the top, to twitter, where they can be skimmed off. The end of the age is an extreme case of this process where God has to sort out the faithful believers from the seeds that the evil one planted.

I am writing to you, young men, because you have overcome the evil one.

At this time there is clearly a warfare going on. We all hopefully want the results to be valid. We don’t want China or Russia to come in and steal the election so that some person who has been compromised by them is running our country. We want the truth, we want to walk in the light, we want to have love for our fellow brothers and sisters. Light overcomes darkness, love overcomes hate, truth overcomes lies. Overcome depression with the word of hope. This is the time for young men of faith to stand strong.

1Jn 2:14-29 All of you know the truth

14 I write to you, dear children, because you know the Father.

I understand the hateful reaction the young children are showing in the streets and on social media. They know a God of love and what is being portrayed is not Him. I would encourage you to stand for righteousness and justice by imitating the God of love and light that you know.

I write to you, fathers, because you know him who is from the beginning.

For those of us who are older we need to draw on our experiences. Not just to keep ourselves from being deceived, but also to help those who are being deceived. I have had experiences with false prophets and the foundation that they stand on is a “fabricated story” that is designed to “make merchandise of you”. This is the “origin story”, the “I pulled myself up from my bootstraps” story. Examine that, find out if it is fabricated and focus on how that is designed to make merchandise of people.

I write to you, young men, because you are strong, and the word of God lives in you, and you have overcome the evil one.

That said, I think there are some very wonderful people online who are strong. Ben Shapiro is a good example of one. I am very encouraged when I see these ones standing strong and overcoming the evil one. I know many are very disturbed by the events happening right now wishing we could go back to a time when everything was peaceful. I view this as the end of the championship game between light and dark, you have those who are strong and the word of God lives in them standing strong, and you have the false prophets fighting for all they are worth knowing that it is do or die for them. This is much more exciting and worthwhile than the NBA or NFL.

15 Do not love the world or anything in the world. If anyone loves the world, love for the Father is not in them. 16 For everything in the world—the lust of the flesh, the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life—comes not from the Father but from the world. 17 The world and its desires pass away, but whoever does the will of God Lives forever.

Everything in the world passes away. From the view point of eternity 100 years is a blink of the eye. It is a wisp of smoke, it is a vanity. No one will remember or care who won what superbowl, but the battle we are now in, that does matter. They will care about this for eternity.

18 Dear children, this is the last hour; and as you have heard that the antichrist is coming, even now many antichrists have come. This is how we know it is the last hour. 19 They went out from us,but they did not really belong to us. For if they had belonged to us, they would have remained with us; but their going showed that none of them belonged to us.

There are many antichrists, not just one, not just “the antichrist”. Notice how in every case “they went out from us”. The antichrist is not an outsider, they are someone who was in the group but then stepped outside the boundaries of that group. So for example, a cult leader will deny Jesus who redeemed us. This can be done very subtly. I am a Christian because I know Jesus, but they will add another requirement. That added requirement denies the Lord who redeemed me and in so doing denies Jesus. In the example above of politicians, they will step outside the bounds of the constitution and deny that. For example in this recent election much was made of Trump nominating Amy Coney Barrett, and then the Senate confirming her. However, none of those actions were outside of the constitution, nor when you carefully scrutinize the evidence were they outside the boundaries of precedent. On the flip side they said that they would get power in this election and “pack the court”. That means instead of 9 Supreme court justices they would nominate 11 or 13. That is clearly a violation of precedent and although it doesn’t violate the letter of the constitution it certainly violates the spirit of it.

20 But you have an anointing from the Holy One, and all of you know the truth. 21 I do not write to you because you do not know the truth, but because you do know it and because no lie comes from the truth.

We need to be careful, many think that crafting a lie is a quick and easy way to get what they want, the old “the end justifies the means”. They are convinced that their way is right, so the fact that they lie about it is no big deal because they are doing it for the greater good. We saw this with Kamala Harris during her debate. She pointed out that a very similar event to RBG’s death occurred right before Lincoln’s reelection. However, Lincoln, the founder of the Republican Party, did not nominate someone in that last month. She interpreted this as a precedent that you should not nominate someone before an election. The problem is that in the 1800s there were no cars or airplanes or telephones. The Senate had already adjourned and gone back to their home states. It would not have been possible to confirm anyone in the time left. So instead Lincoln said “this is the person I will nominate if I am reelected” and that motivated many senators to campaign all the harder for his reelection. So remember, no lie comes from the truth. It will blow up in your face.

22 Who is the liar? It is whoever denies that Jesus is the Christ. Such a person is the antichrist—denying the Father and the Son. 23 No one who denies the Son has the Father; whoever acknowledges the Son has the Father also.

Neither Biden or Trump will save us. Neither one is the savior, neither one is holy and true, neither one is the incarnated word of God.

24 As for you, see that what you have heard from the beginning remains in you. If it does, you also will remain in the Son and in the Father. 25 And this is what he promised us—eternal life.

The battle is to knock us out of the Son. Do not let anything knock you out of being “in Christ”. Make sure that the word you have heard from the beginning remains in you and that you remain in Christ. Our goal is eternal life, not something ephemeral of the world.

26 I am writing these things to you about those who are trying to lead you astray. 27 As for you, the anointing you received from him remains in you, and you do not need anyone to teach you. But as his anointing teaches you about all things and as that anointing is real, not counterfeit—just as it has taught you, remain in him.

You need to realize that they are trying to lead you astray. No one in this country should be naive anymore, we have heard for four years that Russia and China have been using social media to lead us astray. We watched as the CEOs of the cigarette companies tried to lead this country astray. We saw that the NFL tried to lead this country astray concerning CTE. We saw Tik Tok used as a tool of China to disrupt this election. We have seen Twitter and Facebook censor news to affect the election. We have seen that the polls were not used to reflect voter sentiment but rather to affect it. They are trying to lead you astray, but you have an anointing. Can you hear the Lord’s speaking, that is the real question.

28 And now, dear children, continue in him, so that when he appears we may be confident and unashamed before him at his coming.

At the Lord’s coming we want to see all the Lord’s people standing strong. They are standing in truth, in light, and in love.

29 If you know that he is righteous, you know that everyone who does what is right has been born of him.

Do the right thing. Speak truth in love.

Romans 14:1-5 Diversity of thought

1 Accept the one whose faith is weak, without quarreling over disputable matters.

Christians have all been trained in the articles of the faith, the items that are not disputable. But apart from one God and Father of all, Jesus Christ Lord of all, and the faith that has once for all been delivered to us by the apostles everything else is disputable. Do we vote for Biden or Trump, disputable. Do we build a wall on the border, disputable. Do we join the Paris Accords, disputable. Now what exactly does “disputable” mean? Dispute is to argue about or debate, so disputable means you are able to argue about or debate these. However, the meaning of the greek here is more along the lines of to “judge his doubtful thoughts” or even “to criticize his scruples”. The Bible is very clear, a “real Christian” believes that Jesus is Lord, however it doesn’t say anything about whether or not a “real Christian” would ban fracking.

2 One person’s faith allows them to eat anything, but another, whose faith is weak, eats only vegetables.

For two thousand years we have looked at this verse as being about whether or not to be a vegetarian. But the first verse is about any disputable matter, and this second verse is simply an illustration of what he is talking about. For example, there are people today who will only listen to CNN and MSNBC and don’t dare to listen to any other sources of information. If you are going to debate a “disputable” topic some people will seek out a multitude of sources. However, you can find people on the internet who will say anything, doesn’t make it true. So there are others who will only accept the “approved” sources like CNN and the NY Times. So there are some who will only “eat” what the powers that be tell them is safe and there are others who will “eat” anything.

3 The one who eats everything must not treat with contempt the one who does not, and the one who does not eat everything must not judge the one who does, for God has accepted them.

This is the issue we have right now, it is splitting the country in half. Some people are “eating everything” and claiming there was election fraud, others who do not “eat” anything that Facebook, Twitter and the powers that be say is not true are judging those who are claiming there was election fraud. Do not treat your brother or sister with contempt simply because they don’t listen to Steve Bannon or Dan Bongino. On the other hand do not judge those who do.

4 Who are you to judge someone else’s servant? To their own master, servants stand or fall. And they will stand, for the Lord is able to make them stand.

This is the key point. When you are making a decision on these issues are you realizing that you are a servant of the Lord and you will be judged for the actions you take. If you vote for Trump then you can be held accountable for the peace treaty he brokered with Israel and the UAE. Likewise if you voted for Biden you are accountable for the decision to pay for abortions worldwide and to make them legal right up until birth. Trump and Biden made it clear where they stood on these issues before you voted.

5 One person considers one day more sacred than another; another considers every day alike. Each of them should be fully convinced in their own mind.

This is an issue that has bothered me for my entire christian life. I have heard the case to be made about not celebrating birthdays (every birthday celebration in the New Testament is pretty horrible -- though to be fair the Magi were celebrating Jesus birth if not His birthday). Christmas is not Jesus birthday but rather a pagan celebration to the Sun, etc. So on the one hand I don’t want to treat these days as “more sacred than another”. On the other hand the world has done a good job of guilting you and painting you as a “scrooge” if you don’t. To me some issues are clear cut, like abortion, other issues there are two sides to them and both have merit and they are not clear cut. I have made it very clear to my kids and family what aspects of Christmas I completely reject as a lie from the world (I consider the whole story of Santa Clause flying around the entire world and sneaking into houses like a thief to give you presents to be a corruption and mockery of the gospel where at the end of the age Jesus will rapture the first fruits and this will be like a thief breaking into the house of the “world” and the worldly church and stealing the treasures). On the other hand we do get birthday gifts and Christmas gifts so that my kids don’t think that Christians are miserly.

Romans 14:6-23 A more excellent way to debate issues

6 Whoever regards one day as special does so to the Lord. Whoever eats meat does so to the Lord, for they give thanks to God; and whoever abstains does so to the Lord and gives thanks to God.

This is the key thing. Are you giving thanks to God when you celebrate these days? You can have the biggest and best celebration without thanking God and you can also abstain from these parties while giving thanks to God. It is the same with the Paris Accords, I give thanks to God that He is Lord and that all things are under His control. I understand that there are two sides to the issue, but the most important side is that Jesus is Lord.

7 For none of us lives for ourselves alone, and none of us dies for ourselves alone. 8 If we live, we live for the Lord; and if we die, we die for the Lord. So, whether we live or die, we belong to the Lord. 9 For this very reason, Christ died and returned to life so that he might be the Lord of both the dead and the living. 10 You, then, why do you judge your brother or sister[a]? Or why do you treat them with contempt? For we will all stand before God’s judgment seat.

Some teach to not talk about politics, that is their solution. But this is a more excellent way. Paul doesn’t say these issues are not disputable, on the contrary they are. All he says is that do not treat your brother or sister who may dispute with you with contempt, do not judge them. In this verse the word judge means to condemn. The word contempt means to deride. To judge, to condemn would be equivalent to censoring them, banning them, making it illegal to dispute the issue. The word contempt indicates that those who are strong in the faith are “puffed up with pride”. This does not indicate a concern for the edification of the weaker brother or sister.

11 It is written: “‘As surely as I live,’ says the Lord, ‘every knee will bow before me; every tongue will acknowledge God.’”[b]

12 So then, each of us will give an account of ourselves to God.

13 Therefore let us stop passing judgment on one another. Instead, make up your mind not to put any stumbling block or obstacle in the way of a brother or sister.

So what do people do when they are disputing back and forth and there seems to be no resolution? They set a trap, or a snare. For example in the gospels when they came to Jesus and asked if it was right to pay tribute to Caesar or not, that was a trap. If you say yes you offend all those who are against the tyranny of the Roman empire, if you say no you give the Roman’s an excuse to arrest you for treason. But notice, Jesus didn’t duck this question, didn’t say that “politics is out of bounds”.

14 I am convinced, being fully persuaded in the Lord Jesus, that nothing is unclean in itself. But if anyone regards something as unclean, then for that person it is unclean. 15 If your brother or sister is distressed because of what you eat, you are no longer acting in love. Do not by your eating destroy someone for whom Christ died. 16 Therefore do not let what you know is good be spoken of as evil. 17 For the kingdom of God is not a matter of eating and drinking, but of righteousness, peace and joy in the Holy Spirit, 18 because anyone who serves Christ in this way is pleasing to God and receives human approval.

The kingdom of God is not about getting others to listen to Rush Limbaugh or anyone else. When I was first preaching the gospel I was associated with Witness Lee, a coworker of Watchman Nee. He was controversial, some liked him, others were distressed because of him. So, I didn’t reference him at all. The only book we used was the Bible. I didn’t care what people thought about him, it was irrelevant, the kingdom of God is about righteousness, joy and peace in the Holy Spirit. The Bible is fully sufficient to preach that message.

19 Let us therefore make every effort to do what leads to peace and to mutual edification. 20 Do not destroy the work of God for the sake of food. All food is clean, but it is wrong for a person to eat anything that causes someone else to stumble.

The words of Satan, and Judas and Balaam are recorded in the Bible. How can that be? Because “all food is clean”. But what about Satan’s temptations to Eve and to Jesus? How else are we to learn about His devices? So without a doubt you can pick up the words of the Bible to cause someone to stumble, this happens in “cults” all the time. Using the Bible in that way is wrong. But every word in the Bible is clean and that includes some very nasty words that are recorded from the false prophets.

21 It is better not to eat meat or drink wine or to do anything else that will cause your brother or sister to fall.

Anyone who spends time in the word has learned to avoid certain portions that tend to cause others to fall. There are many Christians who avoid Revelation altogether. I personally dislike the way in which it is written. It is clearly written in code to hide what is being said. However, if you are living in the midst of intense persecution you need to learn to speak that way. So if you understand that John is speaking in this way to edify you, then you can receive it.

22 So whatever you believe about these things keep between yourself and God.

Oops, my bad, just forget what I just said.

Blessed is the one who does not condemn himself by what he approves.

Nice, that is some slick debate tactics. You may think you are so smart, so slick, winning the argument but in winning that argument do you condemn yourself when you appear before the Lord’s judgement seat? If winning the argument requires you to condemn others or treat them disrespectfully or lay a trap for them, sorry, you just condemned yourself.

23 But whoever has doubts is condemned if they eat, because their eating is not from faith; and everything that does not come from faith is sin.[c]

If your conscience is telling you to stop when you are reading or watching something on the internet you need to heed that warning.

1Jn 3:1-10 -- The Lord is manifested at the end of the age to destroy the works of the devil

1 Behold, what manner of love the Father hath bestowed upon us, that we should be called the sons of God: therefore the world knoweth us not, because it knew him not.

This has been the focus of the gospel and the age of grace that we might behold what manner of love the Father has bestowed on us. At the end of this age this mystery will be revealed, it will be the Lord’s masterpiece, the whole universe will see the sons of God.

2 Beloved, now are we the sons of God, and it doth not yet appear what we shall be: but we know that, when he shall appear, we shall be like him; for we shall see him as he is.

At the end of the age when the Lord appears His people will also appear “like Him”.

3 And every man that hath this hope in him purifieth himself, even as he is pure.

This is our hope. It is not simply to “be raptured” but to be “like Him”.

4 Whosoever committeth sin transgresseth also the law: for sin is the transgression of the law. 5 And ye know that he was manifested to take away our sins; and in him is no sin.

Jesus was manifested to take away our sin. We have the hope that we will be like Him, like our older brother, the many brothers, that we too will take away the sins of the world.

6 Whosoever abideth in him sinneth not: whosoever sinneth hath not seen him, neither known him.

At the end of the age there will be two types of people. Those that abide in the Lord and are not sinning and those that are sinning and don’t know the Lord.

7 Little children, let no man deceive you: he that doeth righteousness is righteous, even as he is righteous.

Isn’t it funny all the religious rules we have concerning who is a Christian, who is saved, who knows the Lord. These people who are stepping forward as witnesses of the sin despite the threats to themselves, their families and their career. They are doing righteousness and they are righteous even as the Lord is righteous. They are abiding in Him. They are heeding their conscience.

8 He that committeth sin is of the devil; for the devil sinneth from the beginning. For this purpose the Son of God was manifested, that he might destroy the works of the devil.

Can we let this sink into our heart? The Lord was manifested so that He might destroy the works of the devil. The end of the age the Lord is manifested again, this time in His redeemed, transformed people, the army of God, to destroy the works of the devil.

9 Whosoever is born of God doth not commit sin; for his seed remaineth in him: and he cannot sin, because he is born of God.

Those that are born of God will be manifested. They can’t sin, they can’t lie, they can’t go along with what is happening because they are born of God.

10 In this the children of God are manifest, and the children of the devil: whosoever doeth not righteousness is not of God, neither he that loveth not his brother.

It’s not just about doing righteousness it is also about loving your brother. Those who are of the devil don’t mind the fact that some will suffer because of their actions, it is all about what is best for them. But the children of God, their conscience bothers them not just about righteousness but also about the effect that this fraud will have on others.

1Jn 3:11-24 Marvel not if the world hate you

11 For this is the message that ye heard from the beginning, that we should love one another.

The Lord’s command is that we love one another. If you are born of God you can’t get around that, you can’t come up for excuses, you know that even if it costs you a lot, just as it cost the Lord alot, you must do the right thing because you must love one another.

12 Not as Cain, who was of that wicked one, and slew his brother. And wherefore slew he him? Because his own works were evil, and his brother's righteous.

When crooks get caught they lie, if that doesn’t work they have no other choice but to kill.

13 Marvel not, my brethren, if the world hate you.

An article in the Atlantic, a major periodical is titled “A large portion of the electorate chose the sociopath”. It is stunning, four years ago all you heard from some was the need to resist and challenge the election results. Now the same people speak hate towards anyone who would do that now. The hateful speech they spew out is truly amazing.

14 We know that we have passed from death unto life, because we love the brethren. He that loveth not his brother abideth in death.

There is no qualification as to political affiliation or pet issues. It doesn’t matter to me who you voted for, if you voted, or if you think there was fraud or not.

15 Whosoever hateth his brother is a murderer: and ye know that no murderer hath eternal life abiding in him.

There has been a lot of hate spewing out and that speech reveals the heart of a murderer. I think we all know instinctively that the level of hate speech we are hearing reveals murderers among us.

16 Hereby perceive we the love of God, because he laid down his life for us: and we ought to lay down our lives for the brethren.

In the same way we can perceive the love of God in those who risk all to speak the truth. A truck driver came forward as a witness that he drove over a hundred thousand ballots across the border from NY to Pa. That is illegal. When the feds came to question him it wasn’t about his testimony but rather it was to threaten him and his family. But he stood strong and recorded them. There was a woman that refused to certify the election because they violated the protocols. She was threatened but she also stood strong.

17 But whoso hath this world's good, and seeth his brother have need, and shutteth up his bowels of compassion from him, how dwelleth the love of God in him?

Zuckerberg gave $400 million to certain states to manipulate the election. He certainly has “the world’s goods” and he certainly sees the needs of many, but he has decided to go all in to get his way despite the prayers and pleas of millions of people. There is no love abiding there.

18 My little children, let us not love in word, neither in tongue; but in deed and in truth.

These witnesses are loving in deed and truth. We have seen a number of politicians give lip service to doing something while doing nothing. You have to love in deed and in truth.

19 And hereby we know that we are of the truth, and shall assure our hearts before him. 20 For if our heart condemn us, God is greater than our heart, and knoweth all things. 21 Beloved, if our heart condemn us not, then have we confidence toward God.

You have to listen to your conscience. There are over 2,000 affidavits from people who have done that.

22 And whatsoever we ask, we receive of him, because we keep his commandments, and do those things that are pleasing in his sight.

We are asking that every legal vote be counted and every illegal vote not be counted. We are asking that the law and the constitution be honored, the contract we all agreed to.

23 And this is his commandment, That we should believe on the name of his Son Jesus Christ, and love one another, as he gave us commandment.

We have been commanded, believe on the name of Jesus Christ. He was raised from the dead. He was the light that shone in the darkness and the darkness did not overcome it. That is where we have our faith. And we are commanded to love one another. Believing on the name of Jesus includes believing that He will move within His people. It includes trusting the army of God to hear His voice and to respond to Him.

24 And he that keepeth his commandments dwelleth in him, and he in him. And hereby we know that he abideth in us, by the Spirit which he hath given us.
