Isaiah 63:7-19 God’s Ancient Mercies Recalled

7

I will tell of the lovingkindnesses of the Lord, and the praiseworthy deeds of the Lord,

According to all that the Lord has done for us,

And His great goodness toward the house of Israel,

Which He has shown them according to His compassion

And according to the abundance of His lovingkindnesses.

8

For He said, “Be assured, they are My people,

Sons who will not be faithless.”

So He became their Savior [in all their distresses].

9

In all their distress He was distressed,

And the [a]angel of His presence saved them,

In His love and in His compassion He redeemed them;

And He lifted them up and carried them all the days of old.

We are not all lawyers, or talk show hosts, or researchers, or programmers, but one thing we all can do is praise the Lord for His mercy. Nothing terrifies the enemy like hearing the saints praise the Lord. You can watch them rage on TV that no one is listening to them, no one is paying any attention to them and their ratings are plummeting. The Lord has them in derision, He is laughing at them, and when they hear us praising the Lord, ignoring their threats and insults, they can hear that laughter, that derision.

10

But they rebelled

And grieved His Holy Spirit;

Therefore He changed into their enemy,

And He fought against them.

This is the mistake they made, they forgot who the Lord was. The US constitution is government by the people, for the people and of the people. Nancy Pelosi is not lord, Biden is not lord, Schumer is not lord.

11

Then His people remembered the days of old, of Moses [and they said],

Where is He who brought our fathers up out of the [Red] Sea, with the shepherds of His flock [Moses and Aaron]?

Where is He who put His Holy Spirit in their midst,

12

Who caused His glorious arm and infinite power to go at the right hand of Moses,

Dividing the waters before them to make for Himself an everlasting name,

13

Who led them through the depths [of the Red Sea],

Like a horse in the wilderness, [so that] they did not stumble?

14

Like the cattle that go down into the valley [to find better pasture and rest],

The Spirit of the Lord gave them rest.

So You led Your people [O Lord]

To make for Yourself a beautiful and glorious name [preparing the way for the acknowledgment of Your name by all nations].

“You Are Our Father”

I went to many of these Stop the Steal rallies and one of the sponsors was “the Jericho March”. It was a Christian organization that was asking these very same questions. What would the Lord have us do? How do we follow Him in this day?

15

Look down from heaven and see from Your lofty dwelling place, holy and glorious.

Where are Your zeal and Your mighty acts [Your miracles which you did for Your people]?

The stirring of Your heart and Your compassion are restrained and withheld from me.

16

For [most certainly] You are our Father, even though Abraham [our ancestor] does not know us

And Israel does not acknowledge us.

You, O Lord, are [still] our Father,

Our Redeemer from everlasting is Your name.

Yes, we were following the Lord. We prayed, we worshipped, and we had the assurance of life and peace that we were one with the Lord. Yet many “Christians” condemned us. We didn’t take it personally, we just realized they were still asleep.

17

O Lord, why do You cause us to stray from Your ways

And harden our heart from fearing You [with reverence and awe]?

Return for Your servants’ sake, the tribes of Your heritage.

This was the apostasy. It is sickening when you look into the details of how far some “Christian” organizations and denominations have strayed. It would be fair to say that the leader of the apostasy is the Pope.

18

Your holy people possessed Your sanctuary for [only] a little while;

Our adversaries have trampled it down.

19

We have become like those over whom You have never ruled,

Like those who were not called by Your name.

This is what happens when you are cut off from the Lord, from His word, from His fellowship. Either the Lord Jesus is Lord of your life or He isn’t. If He is then you obey His words, His words live within you, and His words are a lamp to your path. If He isn’t then you live like those over whom He has never ruled. If that is the case don’t be surprised that you are left behind.

Genesis 25:29-34 Esau makes fun of his birthright

Genesis 2529 Jacob had cooked [reddish-brown lentil] stew [one day], when Esau came from the field and was famished; 30 and Esau said to Jacob, “Please, let me have a quick swallow of that red stuff there, because I am exhausted and famished.” For that reason Esau was [also] called Edom (Red). 31 Jacob answered, “First sell me your [l]birthright (the rights of a firstborn).” 32 Esau said, “Look, I am about to die [if I do not eat soon]; so of what use is this birthright to me?” 33 Jacob said, “Swear [an oath] to me today [that you are selling it to me for this food]”; so he swore [an oath] to him, and sold him his birthright. 34 Then Jacob gave Esau bread and lentil stew; and he ate and drank, and got up and went on his way. In this way Esau scorned his birthright.

There are two ways to interpret this, either Esau is telling the truth, he is at death’s door, and if he doesn’t get this meal he dies of starvation, or else Esau is just making a joke. You see Christians do this, they get invited to a party and in order to fit in they tell jokes or curse like Peter did when the maid said she thought he was a disciple of the Lord. Now if Esau truly was at death’s door it is hard to believe he would be working in the field prior to collapsing from starvation, it is even harder to believe that God would say He loved Jacob who was toying with his brother’s life. Whatever happened to being "my brother’s keeper”? I think it is safe to conclude that Esau who was always described as being very robust, was not at death’s door, rather this was a joke “hey, I’m starved, what good will my birthright be I die of starvation, pass the beans”.

There are Christians who treat their birthright as a joke or as Hebrews put it, they despised their birthright. Is there anything more important to you than your relationship to Jesus Christ? If so you can be sure that God hates that.

Isaiah 64 A Prayer for the rapture at the end of the age

1 Oh, that You would tear open the heavens and come down,

That the mountains might quake at Your presence—

2 As [sure as] fire kindles the brushwood, as fire causes water to boil—

To make Your name known to Your adversaries,

That the nations may tremble at Your presence!

3 When You did awesome and amazing things which we did not expect,

You came down [at Sinai]; the mountains quaked at Your presence.

4 For from days of old no one has heard, nor has ear perceived,

Nor has the eye [a]seen a God besides You,

Who works and acts in behalf of the one who [gladly] waits for Him.

5 You meet him who rejoices in doing that which is morally right,

Who remembers You in Your ways.

Indeed, You were angry, for we sinned;

We have long continued in our sins [prolonging Your anger].

And shall we be saved [under such circumstances]?

When the Lord returns He will find the believers in one of two situations. There will be those who rejoice in keeping His word, who remember His ways and there will be those who are living in sin.

6 For we all have become like one who is [ceremonially] unclean [like a leper], And all our deeds of righteousness are like filthy rags; We all wither and decay like a leaf, And our wickedness [our sin, our injustice, our wrongdoing], like the wind, takes us away [carrying us far from God’s favor, toward destruction].

We use rags to mop up the floor, in the same way we use our good works to try and mop up our sins. Is that really any different from some Mafia kingpin donating money to the catholic church to give the impression he is a good guy or some serial killer having a phony life as a “cover story”? No one is actually dealing with the sin they are simply hoping the good works will soak up the blood and guts. If you are not attached to the vine you wither and die and the wind blows you away. Right now you should be praying for the Lord’s soon return, you should be praying that His name would be magnified among the nations, you should be calling to mind all His great works. If you aren’t it is a real sign that you have dried up and are about to be blown away. Do not trust in your good deeds “but I am a good person with a good heart”. Are your sins washed away? Are you white as snow?

7 There is no one who calls on Your name,

Who awakens and causes himself to take hold of You;

For You have hidden Your face from us

And have handed us over to the [consuming and destructive] power of our wickedness [our sin, our injustice, our wrongdoing].

Are you calling on the Lord? When you awake are you turning to the Lord?

8 Yet, O Lord, You are our Father;

We are the clay, and You our Potter,

And we all are the work of Your hand.

9 Do not be angry beyond measure, O Lord,

Do not remember our wickedness [our sin, our injustice, our wrongdoing] forever.

Now look, consider, for we are all Your people.

Forgiveness means that God forgets our sins. Now, all of these are God’s people, both those who are calling on His name, turning to Him when they awake and rejoicing in His coming as well as those who are dried up like dead leaves.

10 Your holy cities have become a wilderness,

Zion has become a wilderness,

Jerusalem a desolation.

We are about to see this happen and it is clearly for the goal of causing people to repent and turn to the Lord. Last year China suffered terrible floods and had to buy a lot of food on the world market to feed their people. That made things tougher on the developing countries but the hope was that this year they would have a bumper crop. Instead the floods are every bit as bad this year. This will be catastrophic to the world’s economies as last year we were able to go through our reserves, this year you will see significant inflation. The impact of inflation is doubly bad on China. When people have to spend more of their paycheck on food and gas they have less to spend on the stuff China makes. So then the same time food prices will soar in China will be the time their exports shrink and people are not getting paid. Still I don’t think “your holy cities” or “Zion” refers to cities in China. So how will China respond towards the US and Israel?

11 Our holy and beautiful house [the temple built by Solomon],

Where our fathers praised You,

Has been burned by fire;

And all our precious objects are in ruins.

We are seeing an all out attack from China. Everyday the evidence becomes stronger and stronger that the Pandemic originated in a bioweapons lab where they were making a weaponized version of SARS as a first strike in a war with the US. We have seen massive cyber attacks, a stolen election, and threats over Taiwan. Meanwhile BLM and Critical Race Theory both appear to be forms of attack to convert the US to communism.

12 Considering these [tragedies], will You restrain Yourself, O Lord [and not help us]?

Will You keep silent and humiliate and oppress us beyond measure?

We need to pray to the Lord. At this moment you have many Christians who are praying for the Lord’s soon return. When they are raptured the rest of the Christians will wake up and then they too will begin to pray for salvation.

Joshua 5:1-9 The Circumcision of the Army of the Lord on January 6th

1 Now it happened when all the kings of the Amorites who were beyond the Jordan to the west, and all the kings of the Canaanites who were by the sea, heard that the Lord had dried up the waters of the Jordan before the Israelites until they had crossed over, their hearts melted [in despair], and there was no [fighting] spirit in them any longer because of the Israelites [and what God had done for them].

We need to be aware of what is going on with the Amorites. I get it, they are not God’s people, they are sinful, and some may wish to just focus on the Lord. But the church is not just a hospital or an elementary school, it is also an army, and any army needs to have their eyes and ears open to their adversaries. Right now the “Amorites” those who are ruling and abusing you are terrified. The economy dried up allowing God’s people to cross over from our little bubble in our churches to get involved in the running of the country. The tech giants thought they could censor a few stories, publish a few lies and manipulate the people. The politicians thought they could do as they pleased and would not be bothered. Now they are seeing 500,000 people attend a rally in Washington DC, they saw a hundred of these rallies nationwide, some spontaneous, some organized by Trump, most organized by non profit organizations. They are terrified. It is like the grasshopper that is swarmed by a couple hundred ants. Yes they look like giants but we can swarm them. We can cancel our subscriptions, stop doing business with them, move to other platforms, hire other services, attend school board meetings, go to precinct meetings, write letters, sign petitions, remove governors from office, file lawsuits, publish evidence of corruption and fraud, hold them accountable, and primary those who refuse to listen to the will of the people. They realize how powerless they are before this swarm of millions of Americans who have risen up to take a stand for righteousness.

2 At that time the Lord said to Joshua, “Make for yourself flint knives and circumcise the [new generation of the] sons of Israel as [was done] before.” 3 So Joshua made flint knives and circumcised the sons of Israel at [a]Gibeath-haaraloth. 4 This is the reason why Joshua circumcised them: all the people who came out of Egypt who were males, all the men of war, had died in the wilderness along the way after they left Egypt. 5 All the males who came out were circumcised, but all the males who were born in the wilderness on the way as they left Egypt had not been circumcised. 6 For the Israelites walked forty years in the wilderness, until all the nation, that is, the men of war who came out of Egypt, died because they did not listen to the voice of the Lord; to them the Lord had sworn [an oath] that He would not let them see the land which He had promised to their fathers to give us, a land [of abundance] [b]flowing with milk and honey. 7 So it was their uncircumcised sons whom He raised up in their place, whom Joshua circumcised, because circumcision had not been performed on the way.

First, we need to be circumcised. We do not fight according to the flesh. Look at BLM, they had riots, looting, over 450 of their protests turned violent. People were gunned down in the streets. We have videos of them acting like a mob of wild dogs terrorizing people in restaurants, attacking cars, vandalizing, looting, and in many ways making the city unsafe for everyone. Although the initial claims of injustice by the police and the need for reform resonated with people their support has plummeted. As people see them more and more every day as being fleshly and greedy. Their leaders are shown to be every bit as corrupt as those they are trying to replace. This is not the way to bring in the kingdom. In little more than a year they have already imploded and destroyed any credibility they may have had. By contrast I was in six Stop the Steal rallies. At every one there were small groups (relative to the size of our rallies) of BLM and Antifa supporters who were there to fight. At some they shouted at us, at others they were dressed for battle with baseball bats, but in every one they were there to try and start a fight. Because they were greatly outnumbered they would try and attack two or three walking alone after the rallies. Then on January 6 they tried to discredit the rally of 500,000 with a riot at the Capital. This was very tricky for them to organize. If they wait until the people from the rally at the Whitehouse walk over to the capital building they would be greatly outnumbered and the Stop the Steal people could stop them from rioting. So they planned to start the riot the minute Trump finished speaking and before enough people could get there to stop them. They were composed of both Antifa and right wing groups that were both anarchists. None of these people were part of the Stop the Steal rallies, rather they organized to meet at the Capital (not the rally at the Whitehouse) and break into the capital the minute Trump stopped speaking. The problem was Trump started 45 minutes later than he was scheduled, as a result they began the riot at the same time Trump began speaking a mile away. Not only so we can detect their plans on social media and see who was planning this. Also, because of their ego and attempt to make money they videotaped everything. We have a total of 14,000 hours of video that reveals everything. There were deep state people who were acting as supervisors. They accused them of killing a cop but that was a lie. The only person murdered was Ashli Babbit who was shot and killed by security even though she didn’t have a weapon and was not threatening to harm anyone. Yes, they were trespassing and vandalizing the capital, but compared to the Antifa riots where people were murdered, stores were looted, and buildings were burned to the ground this was tame by comparison.

Still, these people should have known better than to trespass in the capital. We now are getting video that suggests the police invited them in, taking away the barriers and waving people in. If that is the case they cannot be charged with trespassing. We also have evidence that the hundred or so rioters who broke windows and truly rushed the capital were part of right wing anarchist groups and left wing communist groups like Antifa. Neither of these groups were associated with the Stop the Steal rally. Still you should take forethought for things honorable with man. Knowing that you are going to have 500,000 in the city you should make sure you have the security. The Washington Mayor arrested the Proud Boys the day prior to the rally, the proud boys act as the security for these rallies. So although we had had over 100 peaceful rallies prior to this the police took away our ability to maintain peace. Also, Trump and the FBI both advised Nancy Pelosi and Chuck Schumer of threats that they had detected. However Nancy Pelosi and Chuck Schumer refused to accept the national guard from Trump and refused to have extra police presence or put up a serious barrier.

So yes, you should take forethought for things honorable among men, the rally did that by providing their own security which the police arrested despite there not being a single incident to base that on. Trump also acted responsibly. The only ones who were not responsible were Pelosi and Schumer.

8 Then, when they had finished circumcising all [the males of] the nation, they stayed in their places in the camp until they were healed. 9 Then the Lord said to Joshua, “This day I have rolled away the reproach (derision, ridicule) of Egypt from you.” So the name of that place is called Gilgal (rolling) to this day.

I found it very surprising that God would do this since there is a story in Genesis about how Jacob’s sons used the circumcision of a town as an opportunity to kill them. January 6th was a circumcision. We were in pain and unable to do anything until this was healed and the reproach was rolled away. But you can be sure once this happens we will be coming with a renewed vengeance.

Joshua 5:10-15 Here comes the Cavalry

10 While the Israelites camped at Gilgal they observed the Passover on the evening of the fourteenth day of the month on the desert plains of Jericho. 11 On the day after Passover, on that very day, they ate some of the produce of the land, unleavened bread, and roasted grain. 12 And the manna ceased on the day after they had eaten some of the produce of the land, so that the Israelites no longer had manna, but they ate some of the produce of the land of Canaan during that year.

We also have observed the passover and we also are eating the produce of the land. We are seeing the fruits of our labor. We have set up new platforms like FrankSpeech, we have seen reports of fraud like Mike Lindell’s movies and Peter Navarro’s reports, we have seen the ratings on CNN, MLB, NBA and Twitter crash, we have seen the fruits of our labor in recalling Newsom, in exposing the sins of Cuomo, in pushing for audits in Arizona, Georgia, Wisconsin, New Hampshire, etc.

13 Now when Joshua was by Jericho, he looked up, and behold, [c]a man was standing opposite him with his drawn sword in his hand, and Joshua went to him and said to him, “Are you for us or for our adversaries?” 14 He said, “No; rather I have come now as captain of the army of the Lord.” Then Joshua fell with his face toward the earth and bowed down, and said to him, “What does my lord have to say to his servant?” 15 The captain of the Lord’s army said to Joshua, “Remove your sandals from your feet, because the place where you are standing is holy (set apart to the Lord).” And Joshua did so.

I love this! The rallies I went to were organized by “Jericho March”. It was a Christian gathering and we understood we were taking the good land. But let’s be fair, these rallies were run by men who desired to follow the Lord. But at a certain point the Lord Himself will show up in our midst. At that time we discover the very ground we are standing on, the ground we are fighting for is holy ground! What a vindication! This is the point in the Western movie where the cavalry comes charging over the hill to deliver those fighting against all odds.

This is weird, why is it that the appearance of the Lord as the captain of the army is the cavalry coming to the rescue?

There were 500,000 who showed up for the January 6 rally, but what is that compared to 350 million Americans? You can accuse them of being insurrectionists, get them fired, ruin their lives and the government can roll on. But what has happened in the last four months is that the rest of the country has woken up. The Lord's appearance signifies the rest of the Body of Christ has woken up. No longer are we talking about 500,000 deplorables, we are talking about people standing up all over the country. No longer is this a minority of unwashed, irredeemable and uneducated deplorables, now we have tens of millions who are standing up. BLM has lost their support, the left wing ideologies have lost their support, CNN, MSNBC and the NY Times have been shown to be nothing more than propaganda for the left. Fauci has been exposed as a fraud. Biden has been exposed as being weak. Kamala Harris has been exposed as a liar. Their political capital has been collapsing like sand running out of a timer. No one wants to be associated with them, they are exposed as being compromised by Russia, China and Hamas.

When you see the Lord standing with a drawn sword in hand signifying the living word of God sharper than any two edged sword, this tells you that the church is with Him. True there is still an apostasy, but everyday those that were befuddled and made drunk by that wine are waking up from their stupor.

4 months ago if you claimed there was election fraud you were a poor sport involved in insurrection who had fallen for "the big lie". But now that Arizona has revealed massive election fraud and different forensic audits in New Hampshire, Michigan, Wisconsin and Georgia have also exposed fraud we are seeing more and more politicians, legislators and judges ruling in favor of audits. They want to be on the winning side. To me this is what the appearing of the Lord as the captain of the army means.

At first some plough ahead by faith but eventually everyone can see that this is the Lord leading this fight.

1Corinthians 10 --The Lord’s Table and the rapture

For I would not, brethren, have you ignorant, that our fathers were all under the cloud, and all passed through the sea; 2 and were all baptized unto Moses in the cloud and in the sea; 3 and did all eat the same spiritual food; 4 and did all drink the same spiritual drink: for they drank of a spiritual rock that followed them: and the rock was Christ.

When we come to the Lord’s table we are reminded of our journey out of Egypt. No one should partake of that table if they have not been baptized. According to the Jewish festivals the Feast of Tabernacles was a remembrance to the Jews of their journey out of Egypt.

5 Howbeit with most of them God was not well pleased: for they were overthrown in the wilderness. 6 Now these things were our examples, to the intent we should not lust after evil things, as they also lusted. 7 Neither be ye idolaters, as were some of them; as it is written, The people sat down to eat and drink, and rose up to play. 8 Neither let us commit fornication, as some of them committed, and fell in one day three and twenty thousand. 9 Neither let us make trial of the Lord, as some of them made trial, and perished by the serpents. 10 Neither murmur ye, as some of them murmured, and perished by the destroyer.

It is a very serious thing to take the Lord’s table inappropriately. There is a judgement on you. According to the Jewish Feast concerning the Day of Atonement that was their day to focus on God’s judgements and being right with God. We are supposed to examine ourselves that we are right with the Lord and with all the saints before we partake of the Lord’s table. So for us in the New Testament the Lord’s table includes both the Feast of Tabernacles and the Day of Atonement.

11 Now these things happened unto them by way of example; and they were written for our admonition, upon whom the ends of the ages are come.

The Lord’s table is also the day where we focus on our hope, the ends of the ages, where we will enjoy the coronation of Jesus and the wedding of Jesus. That is the Festival of Trumpets in the Jewish tradition. Our celebration of the Lord’s table is a celebration of all three of these festivals wrapped into one. The Bible calls these “holy convocations”. They are dress rehearsals for the real thing. Paul said they were a shadow of things to come but the reality was Christ. In the New Testament we do celebrate all three, but for us they are all wrapped up into a single day when we celebrate the Lord’s table.

12 Wherefore let him that thinketh he standeth take heed lest he fall. 13 There hath no temptation taken you but such as man can bear: but God is faithful, who will not suffer you to be tempted above that ye are able; but will with the temptation make also the way of escape, that ye may be able to endure it.

The Red Sea was a way of escape. Noah’s ark was a way of escape from the flood. The rapture is a way of escape from the trial that is about to come on the whole earth.

14 Wherefore, my beloved, flee from idolatry. 15 I speak as to wise men; judge ye what I say. 16 The cup of blessing which we bless, is it not a communion of the blood of Christ? The bread which we break, is it not a communion of the body of Christ? 17 seeing that we, who are many, are one bread, one body: for we all partake of the one bread. 18 Behold Israel after the flesh: have not they that eat the sacrifices communion with the altar? 19 What say I then? that a thing sacrificed to idols is anything, or that an idol is anything? 20 But I say, that the things which the Gentiles sacrifice, they sacrifice to demons, and not to God: and I would not that ye should have communion with demons. 21 Ye cannot drink the cup of the Lord, and the cup of demons: ye cannot partake of the table of the Lord, and of the table of demons. 22 Or do we provoke the Lord to jealousy? are we stronger than he?

OK, we need to break this down. Our eating and drinking at the Lord’s table is a communion, it makes us one with the Lord and with all the saints. The same is true of having communion with idols and demons, it makes you one with them. This doesn’t mean that the idol is anything. You don’t need to be superstitious that the food or clothes you buy have been made by an idolater and therefore are unclean or cursed. That is not what Paul is saying. What he is saying is that “the things the Gentiles sacrifice they sacrifice to demons and not to Gods.” So what does that mean? Well first, let’s get rid of the thought that sacrifice means they are secretly making animal sacrifices. Substitute the word “pay the price” for sacrifice. The things they pay the price for is to demons and not to God. It still doesn’t make sense because they buy food to feed their family and they buy clothes which Paul just said is not what he is talking about. Their holidays are a “sacrifice”. Not only do they pay a price to celebrate them, but they declare a “sabbath rest” a holiday, so that everyone can celebrate. Now some of these holidays are iffy, for example Gentiles obviously sacrifice to idols and demons on Christmas, but Christians can use that holiday to celebrate the Lord’s incarnation. The same is true of Easter and Thanksgiving. They can be either pagan ritual celebrations or a time to remember and worship the Lord. In most cases this is true, Memorial day, Labor day, and even July 4th can all be days in which you remember the goodness of the Lord, or they can be a celebration of demons and idols. But there is one day that is clearly in contrast to the Lord’s table and that is Halloween. There is one day that is clearly and unequivocally a sacrifice to idols and demons.

23 All things are lawful; but not all things are expedient. All things are lawful; but not all things edify.

I am reminded of the story in the movie “Pursuit of Happyness”. A very critical event takes place when this man praying for salvation is invited to join a bunch of investors in their box at the San Francisco 49ers game. Now it is very obvious that people who go to these games are sacrificing to idols and demons. But it was lawful for this man to go and it was expedient and it was the key thing that edified his business. So even though he went the idols weren’t anything to him, nor does it suggest that this caused him to have communion with them.

24 Let no man seek his own, but each his neighbor’s good. 25 Whatsoever is sold in the shambles, eat, asking no question for conscience’ sake; 26 for the earth is the Lord’s, and the fulness thereof. 27 If one of them that believe not biddeth you to a feast, and ye are disposed to go; whatsoever is set before you, eat, asking no question for conscience’ sake.

This is what happened in that movie, he was bidden to their feast, he was disposed to go and went. He ate whatever was set before them, it was not an issue for his conscience.

28 But if any man say unto you, This hath been offered in sacrifice, eat not, for his sake that showed it, and for conscience’ sake: 29 conscience, I say, not thine own, but the other’s; for why is my liberty judged by another conscience?

On the other hand if someone were to invite you to this same football game to see if you, a Christian, would go, then you don’t go. This “test” of theirs is a test that their conscience has created and if you go you will damage their conscience.

30 If I partake with thankfulness, why am I evil spoken of for that for which I give thanks?

Give thanks to God. If you are worshipping the Lord then you can certainly have communion with the Lord in any situation.

31 Whether therefore ye eat, or drink, or whatsoever ye do, do all to the glory of God.

Once again, that movie “Pursuit of Happyness” is a testimony “to the glory of God”. If I pray and worship the Lord and trust Him for my salvation, then that is the point of the Lord’s table.

32 Give no occasion of stumbling, either to Jews, or to Greeks, or to the church of God: 33 even as I also please all men in all things, not seeking mine own profit, but the profit of the many, that they may be saved.

Proverbs 27:1-13 -- Why is the day of evil approaching?

1 Do not boast of [yourself and] tomorrow, for you know not what a day may bring forth.

2 Let another man praise you, and not your own mouth; a stranger, and not your own lips.

I have seen a lot of indoctrination about giving encouragement and not speaking criticism. I was in a professional development where we were told that words like but, however and should are hurtful words. What has happened that we have become so fragile? Consider Steve Bannon, he has been vilified, insulted, slandered, mocked and made fun of for the last sixteen months because he was running a show called “War Room Pandemic” where the fundamental premise was that the pandemic was a bioweapon created in the Wuhan laboratory. Yet now, after sixteen months everyone, Wall Street Journal, even Bill Maher have come to the conclusion that they were wrong to mock him and that the evidence is piling up that he was right. Just yesterday Jen Psaki responded to questions about this that “we don’t have enough evidence to jump to a conclusion”. What!? How is it that sixteen months ago they were able to jump to the conclusion that Bannon was a nut case, and that the doctors from both China and the US coming forward about this threat should also be slandered? This is how you get praised from a stranger. Bill Maher is a left wing liberal and Steve Bannon is a right wing conservative. They are on opposite sides of the political spectrum and yet Bill Maher, a “stranger” is praising Steve Bannon. No one would be praising Steve Bannon today if he had curled up and sulked at the first negative word he heard. He is praised that despite that He stood firm and continued to push for the truth.

3 Stone is heavy and sand weighty, but a fool’s [unreasoning] wrath is heavier and more intolerable than both of them.

Critical Race Theory is a fool’s unreasoning wrath. Some people confuse this with the history of slavery (it isn’t) or with the history of the Civil Rights movement (it isn’t that either). Rather this theory says that Blacks are and have always been victims and whites are and have always been oppressors. It is insulting and demeaning to everyone. It says that all decisions should be based on the color of the skin going so far as to even say the more melanin someone has in their skin the more morally upright they are. The proponents want to “burn the US constitution”. Think about that, what government on this earth do they think is better? It turns out they support communism. Russia, China and Venezuela are the models they wish to emulate. That is a fool’s wrath.

4 Wrath is cruel and anger is an overwhelming flood, but who is able to stand before jealousy?

Before you start praying for the Lord to come in and judge let’s examine ourselves. God says that idolatry provokes Him to jealousy. Do you worship the dollar? You can be sure the dollar will not be able to stand before God’s jealousy.

5 Open rebuke is better than love that is hidden.

This is the problem with that professional development. They are labelling all rebuke as hate speech. Not being allowed to rebuke someone is the same thing as requiring love to be hidden. Rebuke is like applying the brakes to someone’s life when they are about to crash. Done correctly it is an act of love.

6 Faithful are the wounds of a friend, but the kisses of an enemy are lavish and deceitful.

We are seeing lavish and deceitful kisses. Kamala Harris said if you elect her she would put an end to the human rights abuses at the border. That was a “lavish kiss” that was deceitful. Not only has she not put an end to the abuses she clearly has no intention of putting an end to them.

7 He who is satiated [with sensual pleasures] loathes and treads underfoot a honeycomb, but to the hungry soul every bitter thing is sweet.

The world right now is about to enter a time of testing and trial, and the result will be that all those who are satiated are about to become hungry souls. The prophets say that they will seek up and down looking for someone to speak a word from the Lord to them, even a rebuking word, but they won’t be able to find it.

8 Like a bird that wanders from her nest, so is a man who strays from his home.

The church is our home. Have you strayed from the church?

9 Oil and perfume rejoice the heart; so does the sweetness of a friend’s counsel that comes from the heart.

TV is not counsel that comes from a friend. The Lord called us friends. His counsel is sweet and rejoices the heart. The world wants to cut you off from that counsel, replacing it with their trivial garbage.

10 Your own friend and your father’s friend, forsake them not; neither go to your brother’s house in the day of your calamity. Better is a neighbor who is near [in spirit] than a brother who is far off [in heart].

The day of calamity is coming. What do you do? Don’t forsake the Lord Jesus. Remember what the Lord said, those that hear His words and obey them are His mother, and brother. He said to love your neighbor as yourself. A person who is obeying that word is better than a brother according to the flesh.

11 My son, be wise, and make my heart glad, that I may answer him who reproaches me [as having failed in my parental duty].

I am a teacher and some students get paranoid as though the teacher is out to them. Teachers are judged based on kids passing, we have to give account for every student that fails, it is never true that we want a student to fail. I have had some very difficult students, if they fail I will have them again the next year, you can be sure I don’t want that.

12 A prudent man sees the evil and hides himself, but the simple pass on and are punished [with suffering].

We can see the day approaching if we are awake and are watching. How do we “hide”? We hide ourselves in the Lord. We immerse ourselves in the Triune God. We flee into the Lord who is a strong tower.

13 [The judge tells the creditor] Take the garment of one who is security for a stranger; and hold him in pledge when he is security for foreigners.

The US has made themselves security for a stranger. We have given an exemption from lawsuits to tech giants. Why would we do that? They can harm the US as much as they want and no one can seek compensation. This is why the evil is coming. We allowed them to lie and censor with impunity.

Proverbs 27:14-27 Contrasting those who do not care about the state of their flocks with those that do.

14 The flatterer who loudly praises and glorifies his neighbor, rising early in the morning, it shall be counted as cursing him [for he will be suspected of sinister purposes].

Fauci loudly praised Cuomo’s handling of the Covid crisis in NY. Now we suspect him of having sinister purposes. By following the guidelines NY had the worst outcome and that caused the pandemic to appear much worse than it otherwise might have and it prompted a call to shut down the entire US economy long before it might have been necessary. Many now think this was contrived to undermine Trump’s reelection.

15 A continual dripping on a day of violent showers and a contentious woman are alike;

Maxine Waters is a contentious woman. Stacy Abrams is a contentious woman. They are like a continual dripping.

16 Whoever attempts to restrain [a contentious woman] might as well try to stop the wind—his right hand encounters oil [and she slips through his fingers].

They refuse to be accountable for all the evil they have stirred up and caused.

17 Iron sharpens iron; so a man sharpens the countenance of his friend [to show rage or worthy purpose].

This is why we need the fellowship. Steve Bannon’s war room is all about being a force multiplier, sharpening the countenance of all those who are listening so they could take action. The show is about equipping people with the facts.

18 Whoever tends the fig tree shall eat its fruit; so he who patiently and faithfully guards and heeds his master shall be honored.

Jesus is our master, make sure that when He returns you are patiently and faithfully guarding the fig tree.

19 As in water face answers to and reflects face, so the heart of man to man.

Speak from the heart and your passion will be reflected in the hearts of others. Psalms says “deep calleth unto deep”.

20 Sheol (the place of the dead) and Abaddon (the place of destruction) are never satisfied; so [the lust of] the eyes of man is never satisfied.

Misery loves company.

21 As the refining pot for silver and the furnace for gold [bring forth all the impurities of the metal], so let a man be in his trial of praise [ridding himself of all that is base or insincere; for a man is judged by what he praises and of what he boasts].

So once again we return to where we started. The best praise comes out of this refining pot. All the insults, accusations and even threats towards Bannon were like the refining pot for silver. One thing about Bannon I really appreciate, he won’t let any guest go beyond what the evidence is. He pushes back, he challenges them to provide the “receipts”. He isn’t interested in yes men, he is interested in those who move the case forward with the evidence.

22 Even though like grain you should pound a fool in a mortar with a pestle, yet will not his foolishness depart from him.

This is why the day of evil approaches, to pound the fools in a mortar with a pestle. Who knows, maybe some will repent.

23 Be diligent to know the state of your flocks, and look well to your herds;

24 For riches are not forever; does a crown endure to all generations?

This is the biggest complaint about Biden and Harris, they do not appear to have any concern about the state of their flocks. I heard one woman suffering from this open border saying “I am a democrat but I have learned my lesson”.

25 When the hay is gone, the tender grass shows itself, and herbs of the mountain are gathered in,

26 The lambs will be for your clothing, and the goats [will furnish you] the price of a field.

27 And there will be goats’ milk enough for your food, for the food of your household, and for the maintenance of your maids.

The rapture is the gathering in of the grass, wheat is a grass. Be at peace the Lord has all things prepared for us at this time.

1Corinthians 11:23 -- 34 Do this in remembrance of Me.

1Corinthians 11:23 For I received from the Lord what I also passed on to you: The Lord Jesus, on the night he was betrayed, took bread,24 and when he had given thanks, he broke it and said, “This is my body, which is for you; do this in remembrance of me.”25 In the same way, after supper he took the cup, saying, “This cup is the new covenant in my blood; do this, whenever you drink it, in remembrance of me.” 26 For whenever you eat this bread and drink this cup, you proclaim the Lord’s death until he comes.

Keeping the Lord’s table is how we remember the Lord, it is how we proclaim the Lord’s death until He comes. Many have talked about the Old Covenant festival of trumpets being a holy convocation for the Messiah’s wedding. But in the New Covenant our holy convocation of the wedding is the Lord’s table. We have also talked about how the festival of Trumpets was proclaiming the coronation of the king, but when we proclaim the Lord’s death we are sounding the trumpet of the Lord’s victory over death, that He is the conquering king who ascended to the throne. We are counting to the day the Lord comes by keeping the Lord's table, it is the New Testament version of the Passover feast, hence many feel that the next feast to be fulfilled by the Lord is the 2nd Passover when the Lord returns from a long journey and will eat this feast with us again in the upper room which has been prepared.

27 So then, whoever eats the bread or drinks the cup of the Lord in an unworthy manner will be guilty of sinning against the body and blood of the Lord. 28 Everyone ought to examine themselves before they eat of the bread and drink from the cup. 29 For those who eat and drink without discerning the body of Christ eat and drink judgment on themselves.30 That is why many among you are weak and sick, and a number of you have fallen asleep. 31 But if we were more discerning with regard to ourselves, we would not come under such judgment. 32 Nevertheless, when we are judged in this way by the Lord, we are being disciplined so that we will not be finally condemned with the world.

Again, many of us have been talking about the Old Covenant’s day of Atonement which is a day of judgement. From the Festival of Trumpets you have ten days of awe to examine yourself. But the fulfillment of this in the New Testament is the Lord’s table. The Lord says that when He comes if He finds you feeding the children of God then He will say well done, but if you are out drinking with the world He will make your portion with the hypocrites. Now there are times when it is very difficult to discern, for example, what if your office has a gathering at a restaurant that serves alcohol. Just because you go doesn’t really make any distinction, we are required to serve our employer as unto the Lord. But, suppose it were the Lord’s table meeting when the Lord returns? Wouldn’t you want to be in the Lord’s table and not in some party of the world?

33 So then, my brothers and sisters, when you gather to eat, you should all eat together. 34 Anyone who is hungry should eat something at home, so that when you meet together it may not result in judgment.

Gathering together to eat is what happens on the feast of tabernacles. Once again we see the fulfillment of these three Old Testament festivals combined in the Lord’s Table meeting. This is a law for the feast of Passover.

And when I come I will give further directions.

Wouldn’t it be awesome if the Lord were to return during the Lord’s table meeting? What a testimony! Especially if these meetings are online. There is a remarkable symmetry where a 14 year period fits symmetrically around a blood moon on May 26th, 2021. What is also very interesting is that some claim that the 2nd Passover is May 26th, that the celebration of Passover was a month early this year, it should have been in April, not March, putting the 2nd Passover in May. What is amazing is we have a 14 year period marked by blood moons on feast days for the Jews and solar eclipses over the world including the two that make an X over the US. The mid point and the point that makes an axis of symmetry with the rest of these is the May 26th blood moon which could be the fulfillment of the 2nd Passover.

Joshua 7:1-13 “You cannot stand before your enemies until you remove the things under the ban from among you”.

1 But the sons of Israel acted unfaithfully and violated their obligation in regard to the things [off limits] under the ban [those things belonging to the Lord], for Achan, the son of Carmi, the son of Zabdi, the son of Zerah, from the tribe of Judah, took some of the things under the ban [for personal gain]. Therefore the anger of the Lord burned against the Israelites.

So this brings up the issue of BLM. On the one hand protesting injustice and any kind of bias is righteousness. I have seen a very close similarity between Jonah marching down the streets of Nineveh where they had formerly enslaved the Israelites with the BLM protests. You can tell that Jonah really hated the Ninevites and didn’t want them to repent and didn’t want God to forgive them. That also is similar to what you hear out of the BLM protesters and leaders. However, I have also been very critical of the looting and rioting that takes place with their protests saying they have not done enough to take forethought for things honorable in the sight of God. Recently one of the founders of BLM was discovered to have bought several properties worth millions of dollars and gave them to her family members. This is very much in line with what Achan does here. It is damaging to the movement and completely discredits any claim to moral high ground. Now they are being mocked that BLM stands for “Buy Large Mansions”.

2 Now Joshua sent men from Jericho to Ai, which is near Beth-aven, east of Bethel, and said to them, “Go up and spy out the land.” So the men went up and spied out Ai. 3 Then they returned to Joshua and said to him, “Do not make all the people go up [to fight]; have only about two thousand or three thousand men go up and attack Ai; do not make the entire army go up there, for they [of Ai] are few.” 4 So about three thousand men from the sons of Israel went up there, but they fled [in retreat] from the men of Ai. 5 The men of Ai killed about thirty-six of Israel’s men, and chased them from the gate as far as [the bluffs of] Shebarim and struck them down as they descended [the steep pass], so the hearts of the people melted [in despair and began to doubt God’s promise] and became like water (disheartened).

Recently the support for BLM has plummeted. A year ago it seemed everyone agreed that any injustice needed to be dealt with. Now the result of “defunding the police” has caused crime to skyrocket and the recent revelations concerning the corruption among the leaders also has damaged any credibility they had. People now see them as “trying to replace white pigs with black pigs.”

6 Then Joshua tore his clothes and fell face downward on the ground before the ark of the Lord until evening, he and the elders of Israel; and [with great sorrow] they put dust on their heads. 7 Joshua said, “Alas, O Lord [a]God, why have You brought this people across the Jordan at all, only to hand us over to the Amorites, to destroy us? If only we had been willing to live beyond the Jordan! 8 O Lord, what can I say now that [the army of] Israel has turned back [in retreat and fled] before their enemies? 9 For the Canaanites and all the inhabitants of the land will hear about it, and will surround us and cut off our name from the earth. And what will You do for Your great name [to keep it from dishonor]?”

The Canaanites are the merchants, the corporations, the ones who have bowed to the cancel culture and being “woke”. BLM attacked Georgia over election integrity laws and got MLB, Delta and Coca Cola to take action. Those actions have cost these corporations in a very big way and have completely undermined the influence of cancel culture. No one wants to listen to them and it turns out that the election integrity laws in Georgia were not racist, it was a major blunder.

10 So the Lord said to Joshua, “Get up! Why is it that you have fallen on your face? 11 Israel has sinned; they have also transgressed My covenant which I commanded them [to keep]. They have even taken some of the things under the ban, and they have both stolen and [b]denied [the theft]. Moreover, they have also put the stolen objects among their own things. 12 That is why the [c]soldiers of Israel could not stand [and defend themselves] before their enemies; they turned their backs [and ran] before them, because they have become accursed. I will not be with you anymore unless you destroy the things under the ban from among you. 13 Rise up! Consecrate the people and say, ‘Consecrate yourselves for tomorrow, for thus says the Lord, the God of Israel: “There are things under the ban among you, O Israel. You cannot stand [victorious] before your enemies until you remove the things under the ban from among you.”

“You cannot stand before your enemies until you remove the things under the ban from among you”.

Joshua 7:14-26 Why have you brought disaster on us?

14 In the morning you shall come forward by your tribes. And it shall be that the tribe which the Lord chooses by lot shall come forward by families, and the family which the Lord chooses shall come forward by [separate] households, and the household which the Lord chooses shall come forward man by man. 15 It shall be that the one who is chosen with the things under the ban shall be [killed and his body] burned with fire, he and all that belongs to him, because he has transgressed the covenant of the Lord, and because he has done a [d]disgraceful and disobedient thing in Israel.’”

The Sin of Achan

16 So Joshua got up early in the morning and had Israel come forward by tribes, and the tribe of Judah was chosen [by lot]. 17 He had the families of Judah come forward, and the family of the Zerahites was chosen; and he had the family of the Zerahites come forward man by man, and Zabdi was chosen. 18 He brought his household forward man by man; and Achan the son of Carmi, son of Zabdi, son of Zerah, of the tribe of Judah, was chosen. 19 Then Joshua said to Achan, “My son, I implore you, give glory to the Lord, the God of Israel, and give praise to Him [in recognition of His righteous judgments]; and tell me now what you have done. Do not hide it from me.” 20 So Achan answered Joshua and said, “In truth, I have sinned against the Lord, the God of Israel, and this is what I have done: 21 when I saw among the spoils [in Jericho] a [e]beautiful robe from Shinar (southern Babylon) and two hundred shekels of silver and a bar of gold weighing fifty shekels, I wanted them and took them. Behold, they are hidden in the ground inside my tent, with the silver underneath.”

22 So Joshua sent messengers, and they ran to the tent; and they saw the stolen objects hidden in his tent, with the silver underneath. 23 And they took them from the tent and brought them to Joshua and to all the sons of Israel, and [f]spread them out before the Lord. 24 Then Joshua and all Israel with him, took Achan the son of Zerah, the silver, the [royal] robe, the bar of gold, [g]his sons, his daughters, his oxen, his donkeys, his sheep, his tent, and everything that he had; and they brought them up to the Valley of Achor (Disaster). 25 Joshua said, “Why have you brought disaster on us? The Lord will bring you disaster this day.” Then all Israel stoned them [to death] with stones; afterward they burned their bodies in the fire. 26 Then they piled up over him a great heap of stones that remains to this day. Then the Lord turned from the fierceness of His anger. Therefore the name of that place has been called the Valley of Achor (Disaster) to this day.

1Corinthians 12 -- A more excellent way for Oneness and Diversity

1 Now about the gifts of the Spirit, brothers and sisters, I do not want you to be uninformed. 2 You know that when you were pagans, somehow or other you were influenced and led astray to mute idols. 3 Therefore I want you to know that no one who is speaking by the Spirit of God says, “Jesus be cursed,” and no one can say, “Jesus is Lord,” except by the Holy Spirit.

There are two different messages: "Jesus be cursed" and "Jesus is Lord". Now the gifts of the Holy Spirit are not based on race, or ethnic background, or age or sex. It is based on whether or not you have the Holy Spirit. One message attempts to curse Jesus, the other proclaims that Jesus is Lord. When we talk about diversity of gifts we are not including those who are seeking to curse the Lord and His people. For too long Christians have been confused, thinking that being meek means we need to be one with everything and everyone. No, the Bible says “as much as is possible be at peace with all people”. The caveat is “if it is possible”. It is not possible to be at peace with someone who is seeking to curse you and the people of God.

4 There are different kinds of gifts, but the same Spirit distributes them. 5 There are different kinds of service, but the same Lord. 6 There are different kinds of working, but in all of them and in everyone it is the same God at work. 7 Now to each one the manifestation of the Spirit is given for the common good. 8 To one there is given through the Spirit a message of wisdom, to another a message of knowledge by means of the same Spirit, 9 to another faith by the same Spirit, to another gifts of healing by that one Spirit, 10 to another miraculous powers, to another prophecy, to another distinguishing between spirits, to another speaking in different kinds of tongues,[a] and to still another the interpretation of tongues.[b] 11 All these are the work of one and the same Spirit, and he distributes them to each one, just as he determines.

Would you let a wicked, evil person who desires to bring you harm take care of your kids? Would you let your kids sit in front of a TV and allow them to teach your kids? Yes, there is a great diversity of gifts, some people have a word of wisdom, some a word of knowledge, other have a word of faith and still others gifts of healing. There are those who get prophetic words, dreams and visions. What is common to all is that God is speaking to us through all these people. It is always the same Spirit. Mr. Roger's Neighborhood was an example of the diversity of gifts. But there are many other TV shows that are perverse and do not be so naive as to think that this only refers to the adult TV shows. Hollywood does not discern what is healthy for children, they would have never carried Mr. Roger's Neighborhood. Mr. Roger's Neighborhood was a TV show devoted to teaching children what it means to love your neighbor, that is not a message Hollywood tries to give.

Unity and Diversity in the Body

12 Just as a body, though one, has many parts, but all its many parts form one body, so it is with Christ. 13 For we were all baptized by[c] one Spirit so as to form one body—whether Jews or Gentiles, slave or free—and we were all given the one Spirit to drink. 14 Even so the body is not made up of one part but of many.

The Body is always dealing with foreign attacks on it. Viruses, bacteria, all kinds of things are coming into contact with the Body on a daily basis. We know that some of these things are trying to steal the word from us, just like the birds that eat the seeds sown. Some are trying to choke the word by censoring it, banning it, and ridiculing it. Some don’t want to receive the word because of hidden sins that make their heart stony. Think of the field as your elementary school and all the kids are there receiving the word. You cannot allow the birds to steal the word from them, the stony hearts of those who are teaching your kids to prevent the word from growing and the weeds from growing up to choke out the word in that school. If you want a successful crop you need to deal with the birds, the stones and the weeds.

15 Now if the foot should say, “Because I am not a hand, I do not belong to the body,” it would not for that reason stop being part of the body. 16 And if the ear should say, “Because I am not an eye, I do not belong to the body,” it would not for that reason stop being part of the body. 17 If the whole body were an eye, where would the sense of hearing be? If the whole body were an ear, where would the sense of smell be? 18 But in fact God has placed the parts in the body, every one of them, just as he wanted them to be. 19 If they were all one part, where would the body be? 20 As it is, there are many parts, but one body.

We are one because we all have the same Spirit, we are diverse in our expression of that Spirit which is expressed in our gifts. There has to be a balance between “diversity” and “oneness”. What many are doing is making the illusion of diversity the thing that is our fundamental oneness. It isn’t a diversity of gifts but a diversity of flesh. The flesh lusteth against the Spirit, they are requiring that everyone be one with those who are saying “Jesus be cursed”. We cannot be one with that, the Spirit wars against the flesh. This is the fact, you will never get peace and unity with the Holy Spirit and the Flesh.

21 The eye cannot say to the hand, “I don’t need you!” And the head cannot say to the feet, “I don’t need you!” 22 On the contrary, those parts of the body that seem to be weaker are indispensable, 23 and the parts that we think are less honorable we treat with special honor. And the parts that are unpresentable are treated with special modesty, 24 while our presentable parts need no special treatment. But God has put the body together, giving greater honor to the parts that lacked it, 25 so that there should be no division in the body, but that its parts should have equal concern for each other. 26 If one part suffers, every part suffers with it; if one part is honored, every part rejoices with it.

Cancel culture is when one part of society says to another “we don’t need you”. What we are seeing now is that one part of US society is saying “we don’t need you” to those who proclaim that “Jesus is Lord”. However, everyone who has the Spirit, who proclaims that “Jesus is Lord” cannot agree. Every member of our Body is indispensable. We cannot allow any member, especially the ones that seem less honorable, to be “cancelled”. I heard a very interesting interview with this Hollywood actress. She was very famous having been the star of a long running and highly rated TV show. She said that Hollywood was notorious for having an "anything goes" attitude regarding deviant behavior. But when they found out that she had voted for Trump they cancelled her. They have the illusion of diversity and inclusion, but that does not include conservatives or Christians. Rather they will include any form of the flesh but war against the Spirit.

27 Now you are the body of Christ, and each one of you is a part of it. 28 And God has placed in the church first of all apostles, second prophets, third teachers, then miracles, then gifts of healing, of helping, of guidance, and of different kinds of tongues. 29 Are all apostles? Are all prophets? Are all teachers? Do all work miracles? 30 Do all have gifts of healing? Do all speak in tongues[d]? Do all interpret? 31 Now eagerly desire the greater gifts.

Yes, every member is indispensable, but there is still an order, a headship in the body. We must all be one with the fellowship of the apostles. That is how you determine if the speaking is of the same Spirit or not. Perhaps we are not clear if the speaking is one with the fellowship of the apostles, what then? The fellowship of the prophets could help clear that up, teachers can help us, guidance, different tongues, etc. Every member can help us stay balanced and on the path that leads to life.

And yet I will show you the most excellent way.

The way that the church in Ephesus took is not “the most excellent way”. They discerned, examined and judged those who called themselves apostles and weren’t. That was certainly one way to do this, but it wasn’t excellent because they forsook their first love. Our first love is the savior who saved us from sin. Instead of loving the sinner and preaching the gospel of salvation they forsook their first love and became self righteous, judgmental, and sectarian. Jesus is the way, He is the more excellent way, and if we take this way we will express Him.

John 19:1-14 The preparation of the Passover

1 Then Pilate therefore took Jesus, and scourged him. 2 And the soldiers platted a crown of thorns, and put it on his head, and arrayed him in a purple garment; 3 and they came unto him, and said, Hail, King of the Jews! and they struck him with their hands. 4 And Pilate went out again, and saith unto them, Behold, I bring him out to you, that ye may know that I find no crime in him.

Is this how they used to interrogate people? You scourge them, a horrific penalty, you slap them around a little, you mock them, ridicule them. This whole thing confuses me, is Pilate saying “hey you can see we have gone through the entire interrogation protocol and have not found anything”?

5 Jesus therefore came out, wearing the crown of thorns and the purple garment. And Pilate saith unto them, Behold, the man! 6 When therefore the chief priests and the officers saw him, they cried out, saying, Crucify him, crucify him! Pilate saith unto them, Take him yourselves, and crucify him: for I find no crime in him.

This is mob rule. The judge has ruled that he found no crime in Him and yet He will be sentenced to death in the next few minutes.

7 The Jews answered him, We have a law, and by that law he ought to die, because he made himself the Son of God.

So these are “law abiding” Jews demanding the crucifixion of an innocent man?

8 When Pilate therefore heard this saying, he was the more afraid; 9 and he entered into the Praetorium again, and saith unto Jesus, Whence art thou? But Jesus gave him no answer. 10 Pilate therefore saith unto him, Speakest thou not unto me? knowest thou not that I have power to release thee, and have power to crucify thee? 11 Jesus answered him, Thou wouldest have no power against me, except it were given thee from above: therefore he that delivered me unto thee hath greater sin.

Wow, Proverbs 28:1 The wicked flee when no man pursueth; But the righteous are bold as a lion. This statement by the Lord is bold as a lion. You have to see this. Jesus is Lord, He has heard of the unrighteousness, but now He has come down to see for Himself. This is like the CEO of some company pretending to be a lowly employee to learn what is actually going on in His company. Pilate is probably used to these people cowering before him and here is someone letting him know that God’s wrath will be poured out and Pilates cowardice before this mob is not as great a sin as that of the religious leaders violating the law and lying about it. Proverbs 28:2 For the transgression of a land many are the princes thereof; But by men of understanding and knowledge the state thereof shall be prolonged. When the land is ruled by this mob mentality there is transgression. It takes understanding of the law, of righteousness, and knowledge of the facts to keep the state from sailing onto the rocks and being destroyed in mob chaos.

12 Upon this Pilate sought to release him: but the Jews cried out, saying, If thou release this man, thou art not Caesar’s friend: every one that maketh himself a king speaketh against Caesar. 13 When Pilate therefore heard these words, he brought Jesus out, and sat down on the judgment-seat at a place called The Pavement, but in Hebrew, Gabbatha.

We see this all the time, we saw this in the last election. Think about it, what was the major reason that many people voted against Trump? I’m not talking about those who actually voted for Biden because they support abortion or some other agenda of his, I’m talking about those who voted “against Trump”. They wanted peace. They felt that Trump was responsible for stirring up all kinds of hatred and reactions. They just wanted it to stop. Proverbs 28:3 A needy man that oppresseth the poor Is like a sweeping rain which leaveth no food. People, just like Pilate, will justify all kinds of oppression because “they need peace”. But ask yourself, since Biden has been elected has there been any rain, any blessing?

14 Now it was the Preparation of the passover: it was about the sixth hour. And he saith unto the Jews, Behold, your King!

Three times this chapter refers to “the preparation”. This is a reference to Jewish tradition of preparing for the feast of unleavened bread, the day before the feast is the preparation, you aren’t allowed to be working on the sabbath (the feast day is considered a sabbath) so this day is called the preparation. But I’m going to ignore the Jewish tradition because that is only a shadow, what we are witnessing here is the true preparation. Jesus is the incarnate word full of grace and reality. This is the reality of the preparation. Proverbs 28:4 They that forsake the law praise the wicked; But such as keep the law contend with them. 5 Evil men understand not justice; But they that seek Jehovah understand all things. 6 Better is the poor that walketh in his integrity, Than he that is perverse in his ways, though he be rich. So what is the preparation? How could I know what the “preparation” for the Passover is if I don’t know what the Passover is. The root word for Passover is the word for stand, it signifies that God is about to stand over the house to prevent it from being broken into and robbed. The avenging angel is coming to take vengeance on the cruel and abusive people and the blood on your doorpost indicates that you were not one of the abusive ones, rather you were one of those that had been abused. If you praise the wicked who are calling for Jesus to be crucified then you are one who has forsaken the law. If you are contending with those calling for the crucifixion of Jesus then you are one that keeps the law. To keep the law refers to keeping it under trial, when the pressure is on. The evil ones calling for Jesus to be crucified don’t understand justice, they claim they are keeping the law. Pilate also doesn’t understand justice. If you are one who is easily swayed and goes whichever way the wind blows then you don’t understand justice. You may think “you have a good heart” but your heart is deceitfully wicked and you don’t even know it. This crucifixion is perverse in its ways. Who cares if these are the religious or political leaders of the country, they are all about to suffer God’s wrath and judgement. I would much rather be poor and able to stand before the judgement seat of Christ than to be rich and condemned at the Great White Throne judgment.

So let’s apply this to today. The second impeachment of Trump, that was not justice, that was wicked. Accusing 75 million people who voted for Trump of insurrection because a few hundred people trespassed in the Capital building, that is not justice, it is wickedness. Recently the court in Manhattan is doing outrageous attempt to find anything that they can pin on Trump or Giuliani. Those that are keeping the law are contending with the powers that be concerning the truth, concerning election fraud, concerning censorship, concerning the use of vaccine passports, etc. They understand how all of this is moving towards a totalitarian regime of the Antichrist. They understand that what is going on is perverse and even if they loose their job, are excommunicated from society, imprisoned or even killed it is better to be able to stand before the Lord’s throne than to be cast into the lake of fire with the wicked.

This is what the preparation of the Passover does. It separates out those who will be judged for their sins from those who are covered by the Lord’s blood. It separates out those who like Moses would prefer to be poor and walk in integrity than to be perverse. It separates those who know Jesus Christ, full of grace and truth, from those who are deceitfully wicked.

John 19:15-22 The way of the cross

15 They therefore cried out, Away with him, away with him, crucify him! Pilate saith unto them, Shall I crucify your King? The chief priests answered, We have no king but Caesar. 16 Then therefore he delivered him unto them to be crucified.

Wow! They have totally sided with the spirit of the Antichrist. They are like gluttons, if you side with them you will bring shame to your father. Think about the Nazis under Hitler, they were like gluttons killing millions of innocent people, everyone who sided with them was shamed for the rest of their lives. Proverbs 28:7 Whoso keepeth the law is a wise son; But he that is a companion of gluttons shameth his father. Think about something else, prior to the Passover during the preparation the Jews borrowed gold and silver from the Egyptians. Why would the Egyptians loan them gold and silver? No doubt these loans were charging interest. Proverbs 28:8 He that augmenteth his substance by interest and increase, Gathereth it for him that hath pity on the poor. What happens at the end of the age when Jesus raptures all those believers? Do they also have outstanding loans, mortgages, credit card debt? These are the people who pay their bills, that don’t commit fraud, who hold up the economy. It wasn’t just Pharaoh’s army that got destroyed it was also their economy. They lost their slaves, they lost their loans, they lost their army. When they crucified Jesus they put their own flesh on the cross, the world was put on the cross, in every way possible Satan was put to an open shame. That is the preparation.

17 They took Jesus therefore: and he went out, bearing the cross for himself, unto the place called The place of a skull, which is called in Hebrew Golgotha: 18 where they crucified him, and with him two others, on either side one, and Jesus in the midst.

Whoa, there is nothing about this in the Jewish law, why do we need two other criminals crucified with the lamb of God? Paul explains that we also were crucified with Christ and it is no longer us that live. Proverbs 28:9 He that turneth away his ear from hearing the law, Even his prayer is an abomination. 10 Whoso causeth the upright to go astray in an evil way, He shall fall himself into his own pit; But the perfect shall inherit good. With one of these thieves we see that he turned his ear away from hearing the law, and we see that his prayer is an abomination. We also see that those who caused the upright to go astray, the ones who incited the mob to call out for Jesus to be crucified, we see that they fall into a pit when Titus comes and destroyed their place and they were scattered to the four corners of the earth. We see three groups here, those who caused the upright to go astray, those who were upright but were blown about with every wind of doctrine, and we also see the perfect. They shall inherit good. They inherit the Lord. Pentecost was when the Spirit was poured out as a guarantee of this inheritance, and the rapture is the fulfillment of this promise.

Again, what is the preparation? Proverbs 28:11 The rich man is wise in his own conceit; But the poor that hath understanding searcheth him out. It is clear from this story that this kind of oppression was standard. How do they get away with it? Most people are easy to manipulate, they don’t know the truth, they don’t understand justice. Some people are wicked, they may know what they are doing is wicked but they are easy to pay off. Jesus was the poor man who had understanding and he searched them out. It wasn’t good enough for Jesus to see through their corruption and deceit, He had to put it on display for all to see. That also is the preparation. You put the blood on the doorpost for all to see, that is part of the preparation.

But on a deeper level the preparation is about preparing our soul, our mind. Proverbs 28:12 When the righteous triumph, there is great glory; But when the wicked rise, men hide themselves. When Jesus was crucified we saw men hiding themselves, running away, even denying that they knew the Lord. But after His resurrection there was great glory. This experience prepared them for further persecution, and then we don’t see them hiding, we see them bold as a lion. In the same way at the end of the age you will have two kinds of Christians, the “perfect” who will be taken (these are the ones who were prepared), and those who are caused to go astray who will repent and in the future be prepared.

Let’s consider this a little more. Peter and Judas, both denied the Lord, even betrayed the Lord. Proverbs 28:13 He that covereth his transgressions shall not prosper; But whoso confesseth and forsaketh them shall obtain mercy. Peter obtained mercy, he confessed and forsook his transgression and as a result he grew by it. Judas on the other hand was incapable of confessing and forsaking. To confess your sins requires you to humble yourself before God. Proverbs 28:14 Happy is the man that feareth alway; But he that hardeneth his heart shall fall into mischief.

Be warned. Proverbs 28:15 As a roaring lion, and a ranging bear, So is a wicked ruler over a poor people. There are a lot of people out there that will sell their soul to the devil for 30 pieces of silver. Wicked rulers want the people to be poor, this way they can find a Judas easy enough and once he has taken the 30 pieces of silver he belongs to them. He will be their puppet on a string, which is what Judas was, hanging from a tree. We need to hate covetousness, it is a test. Proverbs 28:16 The prince that lacketh understanding is also a great oppressor; But he that hateth covetousness shall prolong his days. “The prince who lacks understanding” is called “a useful idiot”. Another type of puppet.

Anyway, do not worry about Judas, Proverbs 28:17 A man that is laden with the blood of any person Shall flee unto the pit; let no man stay him. People who have this blood guiltiness on their conscience, it will haunt them.

19 And Pilate wrote a title also, and put it on the cross. And there was written, Jesus of Nazareth, the King of the Jews. 20 This title therefore read many of the Jews, for the place where Jesus was crucified was nigh to the city; and it was written in Hebrew, and in Latin, and in Greek. 21 The chief priests of the Jews therefore said to Pilate, Write not, The King of the Jews; but, that he said, I am King of the Jews. 22 Pilate answered, What I have written I have written.

The Lord was a righteous man, He walked uprightly, it was undeniable, even to Pilate. This is the way of the cross, the way that the Lord told us we would have to take. Proverbs 28:18 Whoso walketh uprightly shall be delivered; But he that is perverse in his ways shall fall at once. 19 He that tilleth his land shall have plenty of bread; But he that followeth after vain persons shall have poverty enough. 20 A faithful man shall abound with blessings; But he that maketh haste to be rich shall not be unpunished. Once again, this is the preparation. This is the Lord preparing us for the road we will need to take. You will see that the one who walked uprightly is delivered and those that are perverse in their ways fall at once. You will see that working your own land will result in you having plenty of bread. Don’t rush to “be glorified” rather choose the cross, embrace the shame, share in the fellowship of Christ’s sufferings and then you will also share in the outstanding resurrection. Then in the face of withering persecution you also can be bold as a lion.

Think about some of the errors, why are people so easily manipulated? They simply trust that these rulers are telling them the truth! Proverbs 28:21 To have respect of persons is not good; Neither that a man should transgress for a piece of bread. 22 He that hath an evil eye hasteth after riches, And knoweth not that want shall come upon him. The crucifixion taught us not to have respect of persons, don’t respect the High priest, don’t respect Pilate. Yes, we are to give honor to whom honor is due but we must know the law for ourselves. I don’t believe that the crucifixion of Jesus or any injustice is “according to the law” because I know the law for myself. The law is written on my heart. It is very hard to embrace the glorified Christ, it is much simpler and easier to embrace the despised, rejected and crucified Christ. When Jesus is glorified there is a huge crowd surrounding Him, it is hard to get close. But if you were embracing Him when He was crucified He’ll push through the crowd to embrace you when He is glorified. Proverbs 28:23 He that rebuketh a man shall afterward find more favor Than he that flattereth with the tongue.

John 19:23-29 All things are now finished.

23 The soldiers therefore, when they had crucified Jesus, took his garments and made four parts, to every soldier a part; and also the coat: now the coat was without seam, woven from the top throughout. 24 They said therefore one to another, Let us not rend it, but cast lots for it, whose it shall be: that the scripture might be fulfilled, which saith,

They parted my garments among them,

And upon my vesture did they cast lots.

25 These things therefore the soldiers did. But there were standing by the cross of Jesus his mother, and his mother’s sister, Mary the wife of Clopas, and Mary Magdalene. 26 When Jesus therefore saw his mother, and the disciple standing by whom he loved, he saith unto his mother, Woman, behold, thy son! 27 Then saith he to the disciple, Behold, thy mother! And from that hour the disciple took her unto his own home.

There are a lot of people involved in the crucifixion from these soldiers to His mother and close disciples. I find this to be a little weird, yes Jesus was the eldest, but He had other brothers like James. John is a cousin. I don’t want to draw too much out of this but you have to wonder where is James at this point.

28 After this Jesus, knowing that all things are now finished, that the scripture might be accomplished, saith, I thirst.

There are so many things that Jesus had to take care of in this “preparation”. Think about the church age, the church is a place for broken families to come and be repaired. It is a hospital, a convalescent center, and the Lord prepared us for this with this case of John taking in Mary.

29 There was set there a vessel full of vinegar: so they put a sponge full of the vinegar upon hyssop, and brought it to his mouth. 30 When Jesus therefore had received the vinegar, he said, It is finished: and he bowed his head, and gave up his spirit.

John 19:31-42 This is the preparation for the great reset

31 The Jews therefore, because it was the Preparation, that the bodies should not remain on the cross upon the sabbath (for the day of that sabbath was a high day), asked of Pilate that their legs might be broken, and that they might be taken away. 32 The soldiers therefore came, and brake the legs of the first, and of the other that was crucified with him: 33 but when they came to Jesus, and saw that he was dead already, they brake not his legs: 34 howbeit one of the soldiers with a spear pierced his side, and straightway there came out blood and water. 35 And he that hath seen hath borne witness, and his witness is true: and he knoweth that he saith true, that ye also may believe. 36 For these things came to pass, that the scripture might be fulfilled, A bone of him shall not be broken. 37 And again another scripture saith, They shall look on him whom they pierced.

Many people are talking about the “great reset” about how the rich elites are preparing for a new world order. What you are witnessing right now is “the preparation” for the antichrist. The vaccine passport is one example, bankrupting small businesses to replace them with these tech giant overlords is another. Election fraud, censorship, and constant propaganda is yet another. It is clear that quite a few people are already operating at though the US government has all but been replaced by this new world government. All they need to do is crucify the Lord, get His church out of the way. The Bible is a big problem to them, it convicts them of sin. Many are pedophiles and perverse, that is why we see them turning the US into Sodom and Gomorrah. The believers are a problem, people stubbornly sticking to their guns, searching them out, exposing their lies, hypocrisy and fraud. You don’t see this nearly as much in most other countries. China and Russia have their people under control. Europe is also much less of a problem than the US, they don’t have the tradition of freedom of speech or freedom of religion.

People are confused, what is going on? I think there have been several undeniable signs that let us know where we are. We are in the preparation. All things need to be finished. We are seeing three groups of people, those who are perfect, by faith. Those who are wicked. And those who are being manipulated by the wicked to fall. But we are already seeing many, many people “looking on Him whom they pierced” and realizing they made a mistake. Some will not realize they have made a mistake until the antichrist is in power oppressing the poor like a raging lion.

38 And after these things Joseph of Arimathaea, being a disciple of Jesus, but secretly for fear of the Jews, asked of Pilate that he might take away the body of Jesus: and Pilate gave him leave. He came therefore, and took away his body. 39 And there came also Nicodemus, he who at the first came to him by night, bringing a mixture of myrrh and aloes, about a hundred pounds. 40 So they took the body of Jesus, and bound it in linen cloths with the spices, as the custom of the Jews is to bury. 41 Now in the place where he was crucified there was a garden; and in the garden a new tomb wherein was never man yet laid. 42 There then because of the Jews’ Preparation (for the tomb was nigh at hand) they laid Jesus.

It is truly wonderful to see the true oneness. Yes there is terrible oppression from the rulers and leaders. The guards are brutal, the law is a joke, and yet at the same time there are those that are wealthy like Joseph and those that are rulers like Nicodemus who are righteous and love the Lord.

Fun with numbers

There are a lot of discussions going on about the three numbers in Daniel -- 1335, 1260 and 1290.

if you add the 1260 and 1290 together it is almost exactly 7 years. If fact depending on when the leap years are (and who knows with all the debates about the Jewish calendars) it is exactly 7 years. That would mean that the 1335 has to precede this because if it were added to either of the other numbers you don't get 7 years.

Now it has been seen that the time of the Lord's baptism to the time of the baptism of the church on Pentecost was 1335 days. To my feeling that is what makes the most sense.

Using the verse in Ecclesiastes that what has been is what shall be we can say at the end of this age you will have another period of 1335 days. You would have to select Sept 23, 2017 which was the Feast of Trumpets and the Revelation 12 sign, and since Jesus was baptized on the feast of Trumpets that also fits. That would take you to May 20, 2021. Now May 26 was a really interesting blood moon which seems to me to have to have been every bit as significant as the Revelation 12 sign, so we have two really special Biblical signs bookending this 1335 days.

Then I would understand these other two time periods as referring to the rapture of the remnant of Believers and then the rapture of Israel.

There is another way to look at this. Let's start with May 14, 1948 and add 80 years because this is the fig tree generation and everything must be fulfilled by the end of these 80 years. Now we then subtract 1260 days and 1290 days. That brings us to May 21, 2021. It seems this is a pivotal point in time whether we start from the Revelation 12 sign or we start from when Israel became a nation again. Likewise when you look at the blood moon on May 26th that also appears to be pivotal with seven years prior and seven years after (similar to the dream Joseph interpreted).
