It is a mad, mad world

Luke 6:1 Now it came to pass

The Christian life changes, it is a journey, we don't stay fixed in one spot for our entire life. The church has changed dramatically as well. At one time the focus was on salvation by faith. That is an elementary teaching we should go on from there.

on a sabbath, that he was going through the grainfields; and his disciples plucked the ears, and did eat, rubbing them in their hands.

This is not as organized as grinding grain for meal and making bread. This is the basic level. Those that teach the word are like those who grind grain and bake bread. This in contrast is the earliest stage in sussing out a new doctrine. You go through the Bible like it is a field of wheat picking verses and rubbing them in your hands. This is what the watchmen have been doing for the last six or seven years. Discovering little grains, little gems throughout the Bible that we never saw before.

2 But certain of the Pharisees said, Why do ye that which it is not lawful to do on the sabbath day?

Many of the Christian leaders have taken this approach. No one knows the day or the hour, hence it is not lawful to talk about the rapture. It is an absurd leap and it only works on those who do not know the word of God.

3 And Jesus answering them said, Have ye not read even this, what David did, when he was hungry, he, and they that were with him; 4 how he entered into the house of God, and took and ate the showbread, and gave also to them that were with him; which it is not lawful to eat save for the priests alone? 5 And he said unto them, The Son of man is lord of the sabbath.

David was fleeing for his life at the time. He was being accused of "insurrection" when in fact it was his son who had been the insurrectionist. This verse gives you a very nice description of what it will be like in "Israel" the land that is consecrated to God, at the time immediately before the Lord's return. Martin Luther experienced this when he nailed his thesis to the church door. This has always been the case when the church unearths some new discovery from the word of God.

6 And it came to pass on another sabbath, that he entered into the synagogue and taught: and there was a man there, and his right hand was withered.

Your right hand signifies your work, it was withered because it wasn't used. This is the sabbath, so unlike the Lord Jesus he had submitted himself to these pharisees, you aren't allowed to look at these verses, therefore his hand was withered.

7 And the scribes and the Pharisees watched him, whether he would heal on the sabbath; that they might find how to accuse him. 8 But he knew their thoughts; and he said to the man that had his hand withered, Rise up, and stand forth in the midst. And he arose and stood forth.

Do you want to be healed? Rise up and stand forth in the midst. The reason your hand is withered is because you have been following the advice of evil doctors, it is their "medicine" that is keeping you withered.

9 And Jesus said unto them, I ask you, Is it lawful on the sabbath to do good, or to do harm? to save a life, or to destroy it?

This is another key description of the age. It will be lawful to do harm while doing good will be outlawed. It will be legal to castrate small children while parents who object will be seen as the villain. It will be legal for psychiatrists to prescribe drugs to destroy the lives of little children while prayer and the gospel of salvation will be unlawful.

10 And he looked round about on them all, and said unto him, Stretch forth thy hand. And he did so: and his hand was restored.

This is what you must do despite the cancel culture and craziness all around.

11 But they were filled with madness; and communed one with another what they might do to Jesus.

Jesus just healed a man who had a withered hand and they are filled with madness? It is a bizarre world.

I had another rapture dream.

I cannot remember the whole dream in detail. What I do remember is it was like looking at a storyboard where you see one picture at a time (kind of like a comic book but in a straight line like a timeline), and then I saw the picture of the rapture and what you saw was people being taken up into the sky but all you saw was their feet. It reminds me of that verse "how beautiful are the feet of those who bring the gospel".

What I wanted to know was the previous slides to get an idea of when but I think the point was the Lord wanted me to focus on the who, those with beautiful feet.

People are still saying that no one can know the day or the hour

The Bible doesn't say that, the Day of the Lord is the most detailed period of seven years in the entire Bible. There are more prophecies and details on this seven year period than any other period in the Bible.

Why does everyone focus on one verse while ignoring all the other verses, Peter told us specifically that no verse is of its own interpretation.

Jesus said that no one knows the day or the hour but the Father only. He didn't say that no one will know, only that at that time no one knew meaning you will not find it in any prophecy or word in scripture.

However, He also likened His coming to a bridegroom coming to get His bride in a Jewish wedding. In that scenario it is the father who knows when the time has come, he then tells the son that all things are ready he can get his bride who then tells all his friends to help him and they go with trumpets announcing the bridegroom has come. So obviously if you put these two together the Lord is telling you that if you are His friend and in close relationship with Him you will know when the time comes. Amos says that God does nothing without telling the prophets first, so again, just because we weren't told 2,000 years ago doesn't mean we won't be told prior to the Lord's coming, rather it means you must be in relationship and "watching". Then in Revelation to the church in Sardis they were warned that if they didn't watch they wouldn't know the day or hour of His coming. What kind of threat is that if that were the case for everyone? That would only be a threat if those who are watching do know the day of His coming.

Context! Context! Context!

Mark 13:28 Now from the fig tree learn her parable: when her branch is now become tender, and putteth forth its leaves, ye know that the summer is nigh; 29 even so ye also, when ye see these things coming to pass, know ye that he is nigh, even at the doors. 30 Verily I say unto you, This generation shall not pass away, until all these things be accomplished. 31 Heaven and earth shall pass away: but my words shall not pass away. 32 But of that day or that hour knoweth no one, not even the angels in heaven, neither the Son, but the Father.

33 Take ye heed, watch and pray: for ye know not when the time is. 34 It is as when a man, sojourning in another country, having left his house, and given authority to his servants, to each one his work, commanded also the porter to watch. 35 Watch therefore: for ye know not when the lord of the house cometh, whether at even, or at midnight, or at cockcrowing, or in the morning; 36 lest coming suddenly he find you sleeping. 37 And what I say unto you I say unto all, Watch.

The context of these verses is comparing the Lord's return to the ruler of a great house and the butler not knowing the day or the hour of the return. Therefore you should be preparing the house for his return so that when He does come it isn't a mess. Now if the master had gone on a long trip say from UK to America you might not know when he is returning but you should have a good idea. You might know when he is planning to take the boat back, you might know that he will take the train from London and you know when the train's arrive, and when he arrives in London he might call or send a telegram ahead to let you know he is almost there. That is the context of this verse, but there are other examples given as well.

1. The Jewish wedding. The Bridegroom spends two years preparing a place while the bride also spends two years preparing what she needs. Just because they aren't married doesn't mean they don't see each other. The Bride could easily visit Him every weekend to see how the construction is going along and so she would know when the place is prepared. She might not know the day or the hour but if she is watching she would have a very, very good idea of when it would be.

2. A thief in the night. You don't know the day or hour that a thief is going to strike which is why you have to watch.

3. A farmer with a crop he is harvesting. He doesn't know ahead of time the day or hour the crop will be ripe and need to be harvested which is why he must watch.

4. A pregnant woman doesn't know the day or the hour that the baby will be born which is why she must watch.

In every case the context is not "no one knows so why bother" rather it is "no one knows therefore you must be more diligent to watch".

Now consider as the day approaches the pregnant woman is going to know, the farmer is going to know, the bride is going to know. The only people who don't know are shameful and irresponsible.

The context in Matthew is that Jesus has just told them that the fig tree generation shall not pass away until all these things are fulfilled, giving you a prophecy concerning when the Lord will return, so the point is you will know the generation but not the hour or day.

In Luke this verse is not given at all. My understanding is that Luke is the book to those who are raptured prior to 70th week. Matthew and Mark have a slightly different angle. What we do hear in Luke is that the Lord will return when many of the servants in the house are not ready and not looking for Him and that will be to their shame. For those who are not watching the Lord will come when they think not. But He never says that no one knows or can know to them.

Basic Principles for identifying false prophets

1. Two or three witnesses

Deuteronomy 19:15b, "at the mouth of two witnesses, or at the mouth of three witnesses, should a matter be established."

There are things that we may hear which may blow our mind. For example, "Bible code" the idea that every person's name is found in the Bible in a skip sequence code. This discovery was published in a prestigious statistical journal after examining the Bible and comparing it to 1 million other books. Obviously it is impossible to prove that "every" name is in the Bible, however, they have searched for thousands and most likely tens of thousands of names and found them all so far. I examined this, they ask for 8 things: My full name (17 characters), my mom's name, my dad's name, my wife's name, my daughter's name, where I was born, the year I was born (I say 8 things because the family name and the given name are considered two things). All of these showed up with all the people intersecting my given name.

So then I did the same thing for my daughter and for my son. That is three additional witnesses to the 1 million books they checked this against and the hundreds of other names from rabbis and historical figures they had already documented.

2. Must align with the word of God

So then, I had to figure out how this might align to the word of God.

1 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. 2 The same was in the beginning with God. 3 All things were made through him; and without him was not anything made that hath been made.

The Bible says that all things were made through the word of God; and without the word of God was not anything made that has been made.

3. You will know them by their fruit

Matthew 7:16 By their fruits ye shall know them.

You may be convinced that something is true from the witnesses, you may be able to align this particular word with the word of God. But, what is the fruit? We know what the fruit of the spirit is:

Galatians 5:22 But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, kindness, goodness, faithfulness,

Galatians 5:19 Now the works of the flesh are manifest, which are these: fornication, uncleanness, lasciviousness, 20 idolatry, sorcery, enmities, strife, jealousies, wraths, factions, divisions, parties, 21 envyings, drunkenness, revellings, and such like; of which I forewarn you, even as I did forewarn you, that they who practise such things shall not inherit the kingdom of God.

This to me is the most important factor. I may hear a prophecy and think "I need another witness". OK, but just because you haven't heard a second witness yet is not proof there isn't one, just that you haven't heard it. Likewise I may hear something bizarre that does not seem to line up with the word of God, but just because I don't see how it lines up doesn't mean it doesn't line up. However, if I see the fruit of a teaching is the works of the flesh, then I am immediately clear, that is of the flesh, don't touch it.

This raises another question, suppose I have the full assurance a ministry is of God, speaking the pure word of God. Can that change and if so why?

Look at it a different way, suppose your family has been drinking water from the same well for several generations, the water was always pure, can that change? Of course it can, after fracking many wells became contaminated. If you live in East Palestine, Ohio I would stop drinking from your well.

So then, why? There is a very real spiritual attack on believers, on ministries, and Satan does go about as a lion seeking whom he may devour. There are a number of accounts in the Bible of people backsliding, betraying the faith, and acting like a dog returning to its vomit. The greater the reputation the more attention Satan will give that person. We are on a battlefield, it is obviously not a good thing to raise your head up above the trench and bring attention to yourself. So then a preacher with a great reputation is just another way of referring to a saint who is a target of the enemy.

Who should you believe? (part 1)

Luke 6:22 Blessed are ye, when men shall hate you, and when they shall separate you from their company, and reproach you, and cast out your name as evil, for the Son of man’s sake. 23 Rejoice in that day, and leap for joy: for behold, your reward is great in heaven; for in the same manner did their fathers unto the prophets.

When I was last on Facebook they suspended me because "someone was offended by one of my posts". They didn't tell me what post was offensive, they didn't tell me what rule I had broken or even anything that would help me to correct the behavior they deemed offensive. Since my posts are focused on Christ and the church I concluded that Facebook did not welcome Christians any longer and so I shook off the dust and deleted my account. It was not easy to delete the account, it took 30 days, just as the Lord said, the dust will cling to you.

That was a few years ago, Censorship is not working for the tech giants so instead we are seeing a lot of insults and ridicule.

Projection

We are seeing a lot of projection. If they are spewing propaganda they will accuse you of that. If they are the mouthpiece for the main stream media they will accuse you of that. They accuse you of parroting when in fact they are the ones parroting the main stream media. They will accuse you of being hateful, intolerant and dishonest when the fact is that is what they are. They will say you are trying to tell people what to think, which is of course what they are doing. They will accuse you of acting as the thought police, which is what they are doing. They will accuse others of "twisting the discussion away" which is really what they are trying to do.

Arrogance

They will critique your post accusing you of "serious flaws" without so much as identifying them and laying out the case for why they are flawed. They will put themselves forward as smarter than you even though their own posts are foolish and make them appear to be a simpleton. They describe themselves in boastful terms, they are leaders, evolved, grandiose in their opinion of themselves. They will describe you as delusional. They will call you "infantile".

Insulting

They will accuse you of being anti Christian, say you aren't living by grace, accusing you of total nonsense. Again, they don't lay out a case for why they say this, simply set themselves on high and make these proclamations just like the "fact checkers" of a few years ago. You have a problem with people, or you have rigid thinking, not like them. Accuse you of fabrication and spreading garbage. They will say your posts are irrelevant and a waste of time, and yet they read every one and comment on every one. They will accuse you of being hateful, intolerant, and dishonest. They will accuse you of having a warped view of who Jesus is.

Hypocritical

Their questions are total hypocrisy, a put down disguised as a question. If you ask them a question you will be ignored, and yet they will claim to ignore you while reading every post. They think they are speaking for everyone else on the forum when in fact you can hardly find anyone else that would agree with that claim. For example "why do you think everyone is closed minded and biased like you?" Just an insult pretending to be a question. They will be incredibly thin skinned for someone pushing so many insults, accusing you of being pompous, when that describes them to a tee. Of course they will accuse you of being "the epitome of hypocrisy".

Out of the abundance of the heart the mouth speaks.

What is in their heart is to lift up the authority of the state over the authority of the constitution and over the authority of your conscience and over the authority of the Lord Jesus (the incarnated word of God).

DHS heavily redacted Disinformation Board emails despite claiming agency had nothing to hide

When the existence of the Disinformation Governance Board burst into public view, Homeland Security Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas said there was nothing sinister to hide and claimed the office was rooted in "best practices."

A year later, Mayorkas' department is refusing to let Americans see most of the legal justifications and talking points it created to defend the now-disbanded board from "blowback," FOIA documents showed.

More than 100 pages of internal communication between the board's former executive director, Nina Jankowicz, and her staff were released with heavy redactions to the conservative nonprofit Citizens United.

What little is visible makes clear that DHS underestimated the negative reaction the board would provoke and was scrambling to find ways to keep the story from being pushed by "hostile" news outlets.

In the FOIA emails, Jankowicz cited "blowback and abuse" after certain media outlets began describing the board as the "Ministry of Truth" as word spread about its formation.

"There is a fair possibility this could end up on a hostile TV network in the coming days," she wrote.

https://justthenews.com/government/...sinformation-board-emails-masking-how-and-why

The first point the Lord makes is examine yourself. If all of your communications were made visible would you want anything redacted? You can't remove a splinter from someone's eye if you have a beam in your own eye.

The second point is this, a tree is known by its fruit.

43 For there is no good tree that bringeth forth corrupt fruit; nor again a corrupt tree that bringeth forth good fruit. 44 For each tree is known by its own fruit. For of thorns men do not gather figs, nor of a bramble bush gather they grapes. 45 The good man out of the good treasure of his heart bringeth forth that which is good; and the evil man out of the evil treasure bringeth forth that which is evil: for out of the abundance of the heart his mouth speaketh.

If they tell you that they have nothing to hide and yet have redacted all their emails you know they are liars. There should be no problem figuring out who to believe and who is a liar, who to trust, and who is bringing forth corrupt fruit.

There are some that would pervert the gospel of Christ

6 I marvel that ye are so quickly removing from him that called you in the grace of Christ unto a different gospel; 7 which is not another gospel: only there are some that trouble you, and would pervert the gospel of Christ. 8 But though we, or an angel from heaven, should preach unto you any gospel other than that which we preached unto you, let him be anathema. 9 As we have said before, so say I now again, If any man preacheth unto you any gospel other than that which ye received, let him be anathema. 10 For am I now seeking the favor of men, or of God? or am I striving to please men? if I were still pleasing men, I should not be a servant of Christ.

A servant of Jesus Christ is not striving to please men.

Manhattan Grand Jury Not Convening Over Possible Trump Indictment Again This Week

JUST IN: Manhattan grand jury investigating former President Trump’s alleged role in a scheme to pay hush money to an adult film star will not hear that case again this week, two court sources familiar with proceedings tell CNN via

(First reported by

39 And he spake also a parable unto them, Can the blind guide the blind? shall they not both fall into a pit?

Lord Jesus, may the fear and dread of You fall on all of this evil society.

You are the alpha and omega, the first and the last, the bright and Morning Star. You are the hope that they cannot destroy. When they see this may terror grip their heart. You are the truth they cannot crush, the living word they cannot destroy! May they break their hands and their wrists when they fight against You. Jesus, You are the power within your children, You are the boldness inside them for things to come. When they speak may these cause ten thousand to flee before them.

Lord Jesus you are the voice within us that will not be stopped, may we run through them exposing them to be a paper tiger.

Lord Jesus you are the strength for us to face death because we will not refuse your Holy name. When their henchman see this may they fall down on their knees and declare that Jesus is truly in our midst.

Who should you believe (part 3)

Titus 3:10 A factious man after a first and second admonition refuse

This word translated as factious means to cause division by a party or spirit. Trying to divide the church by a party or spirit is a factious man.

This word "reject" is to beg off of or from another. To refuse, decline, avoid. To ask to be excused.

It is not a small thing when people or media outlets are intentionally trying to divide the country or people. When you see something like that done repeatedly you know to refuse or avoid that one.

The NY Times had a phony whistleblower that they pretended was a high level official in Trump's cabinet that were stories intentionally designed to be factious. That tells me to avoid the NY Times. We have seen politicians like McConnell and Romney do this, so avoid them. Etc.
