Don't all Christians agree that they don't know the day or the hour the Lord will return?

The difference is that some Christians take "nobody knows when" as an excuse to not watch, others, like myself, take it as a charge that we must therefore watch (which is what the Lord said and for some reason everyone neglects to quote that part).

42 Watch therefore: for ye know not what hour your Lord doth come.

Being in the game

Matthew 28:19 Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, 20 teaching them to observe everything that I have commanded you

The great commission

Luke 12:43 Blessed is that servant whom his master finds so doing when he arrives.

When the Lord returns will he find me in the gospel doing what I have been commanded to do?

The Lord's burden is light and his yoke is easy.

There are three ways to have fellowship with this gospel ministry. You can pray. We have weekly prayer meetings for the city, for the churches, for the gospel, for this country and for this ministry. I find it easier to pray with other brothers, though the Lord knows and treasures all your prayers whether in your prayer closet or in a prayer meeting.

You can also donate, 100% of your donations to the Gideon's ministry goes to buy bibles. In the last month our camp has distributed over 1,000 bibles and New Testaments. The Gideons have distributed 2.5 billion Bibles and New Testaments worldwide. And I have had a part, maybe a very small part, but when I appear before the Lord I know I’ll be happy that I was part of this ministry.

You can also join the ministry. I always dreamed that I would be someone who spoke the gospel to 30 people a month. That seemed monumental. But in this ministry I speak to 300 a month. Giving people a bible becomes a great way to talk to them about the Lord and salvation. It is so much easier to preach the gospel when you are with a couple of other like minded brothers and sisters. Imagine when the Lord returns he finds you handing a bible to someone and speaking the gospel? Wouldn’t that be blessed?

Luke 12:43 Blessed is that servant whom his master finds so doing when he arrives.

There are many people who want to participate, but… So let’s address this little word “but” and some of the reasons why we can’t be doing what the Lord has commanded us to do. One week before our distribution to the hotels a brother was in an accident and cut off four fingers from his hand. Obviously the Lord understands he can’t participate. OK, that is a bad example because he did come out anyway. But we have a brother that needs to use a walker, you can’t ask him to walk along a quarter mile of cars on a dirt road handing out bibles at the food give away. Actually, that is another bad example, he did come. I have a better example, there is a sister that cannot be in the sun or she will get strokes! So clearly, it is too dangerous for her to come out in the sun for four hours. Actually, what she does is drive alongside the cars and prays with the people while in her car. I heard a praise report this week from a woman who prayed with her about her job and the Lord answered her prayer. So then, if you are thinking “I’d like to, but…” just remember, in Jesus is the yes and the amen, we can do all things in Christ who empowers us.

My uncle Bob was my godfather and also a lay minister in Jackson Ms in the 1960s. Something he taught me has helped guide my entire life. During the 1960s the KKK was bombing black churches in Jackson so uncle Bob started a ministry to help these churches. I remember thinking “he is poor, how can he help?” His ministry was called “Operation shoelace”. In response the KKK bombed his house with his wife and two small children inside with him. He was called back to Washington DC and since we lived in NY our family drove down to see them. The apartment was one room, no furniture, just a bunch of stuff in boxes. I was six and was excited that the ten of us would be sleeping in sleeping bags on the floor. I had a very simple understanding of what was going on, the front page of the newspaper was about a war called the civil rights movement and my uncle was on the front lines fighting with the good guys. I was full of pride. But my aunt Penny and my uncle John had a different view. Uncle John lived in Jackson, he had the same last name “Kochtitzky” and he was afraid that the KKK would target him and his family. No one argued that Bob wasn’t doing the right thing, they simply felt you need to go along to get along and not make waves. Those are the views of a naive six year old boy and the adults in the room. But later I learned the Lord also had a view. When I read these verses in Luke the Lord reminded me of my uncle.

Let me give you the context of these verses, Luke 21 is the chapter where the disciples ask about the signs of the Lord’s coming, what should we be looking for. But Luke introduces this chapter with these verses to tell us what the Lord will be looking for.

21:1 And he looked up, and saw the rich men casting their gifts into the treasury. 2 And he saw also a certain poor widow casting in thither two mites. 3 And he said, Of a truth I say unto you, that this poor widow hath cast in more than they all: 4 For all these have of their abundance cast in unto the offerings of God: but she of her penury hath cast in all the living that she had.

Is Silver about to Skyrocket? 06/01/2023

I have been listening to Pastor Stan for quite a while and I feel that the Lord has specifically burdened him with a ministry to those who are left behind. The Lord is merciful and God desires all to be saved and that none would perish. So this is perfectly reasonable. It would also explain his understanding that there is no pre tribulation rapture, because it helps him with the ministry to those left behind to have that view.

Now the Bible and the prophecies are a little more problematic. The Lord commends those who heed the warnings of the prophets and respond, and on the other hand we are told that your silver and gold will not save you and will actually be thrown out into the streets.

Both can be true. For example, when I left NYC I was heeding the warnings of the prophets. In order to leave I had to get rid of a whole lot of stuff that was simply too expensive to haul with me. I had an entire gym in my back yard, gave the entire thing away, I had tool boxes filled with tools, gave that away, I had over a thousand dollars worth of books, gave that all away. So yes, I tossed my silver and gold into the street and I also followed the warnings of the Lord's prophets.

Take a look at anyone who is hit by a natural disaster like a tornado, fire, or flood. All their "silver and gold" is cast out into the street. Look at those fleeing war torn cities, all their silver and gold is cast out into the street. However, the sooner you heed the warnings the better it is for you.

Symptoms of the Apostasy

Let us consider the teaching to not mention hell because it is at the heart of the apostasy.

1. How do you teach about salvation and a savior if you don't teach people what they are saved from?

2. How do you teach about sin and the wages of sin being death if you don't teach what that means?

So the apostate church avoids talking about sin and they avoid talking about hell. As a result they have love without any discernment. Next you will have transgender priests giving story hour and prancing around the pulpit like demonic creatures. If there is no sin and no hell then the Lord's word that He is the only way to the father will be annulled and they will embrace "all faiths" and you will have confusion and a rebuilt tower of Babylon.

Proverbs 1:7 The fear of the Lord is the beginning of knowledge: but fools despise wisdom and instruction.

All believers need a reverential fear and awe of the Lord Jesus. Every one of us needs to know that one day we will appear before the judgement seat to be judged concerning the things we have done in this life. As a result we need to be very diligent to repent of sins and to take the Lord's blood, confessing our sins and washing them away. We need to understand that God is a righteous God, He takes sin very seriously, so seriously that Jesus had to die on the cross to pay the price for sin.

Phil 2:`12 Wherefore, my beloved, as ye have always obeyed, not as in my presence only, but now much more in my absence, work out your own salvation with fear and trembling.

There is no contradiction between a loving God and Father and working out our own salvation with fear and trembling.

Jude 1:12 These are spots in your feasts of charity, when they feast with you, feeding themselves without fear: clouds they are without water, carried about of winds; trees whose fruit withereth, without fruit, twice dead, plucked up by the roots;

People who have no fear of God or His judgement are spots in your love feasts.

1Timothy 5:20 Them that sin rebuke before all, that others also may fear.

How is this "a few verses"? Paul taught Timothy to openly rebuke those who sin so that others may fear. The apostate church teaches you not to do that.

1Peter 1:17 And if ye call on the Father, who without respect of persons judgeth according to every man's work, pass the time of your sojourning here in fear:

The apostate church tells us to ignore Peter's admonishment.

Jude 23 And others save with fear, pulling them out of the fire; hating even the garment spotted by the flesh.

One wonders if these teachers know any part of the Bible?

Paul -- And I was with you in weakness, and in fear, and in much trembling.

When did the fear of God become contrary to the gospel?

2 Corinthians 7:1 Having therefore these promises, dearly beloved, let us cleanse ourselves from all filthiness of the flesh and spirit, perfecting holiness in the fear of God.

Symptoms of the apostasy

They claim that talking about hell is a "fear based gospel".

Unlike that I believe every word of God is good for teaching, for reproof, for encouragement, for consolation, for teaching about righteousness.

They claim that 3% of the Lord's speaking is a direct reference to hell. If the Lord speaks 3% of His words on hell I don't see how anyone who is a witness of the Lord Jesus could teach others that it should be 0%?

I ask them how they can talk about salvation and they respond that they don't talk about salvation.

If Jude wants to speak concerning the common salvation how do they say they have no interest in speaking about salvation?

3 Beloved, when I gave all diligence to write unto you of the common salvation, it was needful for me to write unto you, and exhort you that ye should earnestly contend for the faith which was once delivered unto the saints.

Where is the contending for the faith? It is easy to surrender, that is all they are telling you to do, "don't contend for the faith, surrender".

Hebrews 2:3 How shall we escape, if we neglect so great salvation;

They have to neglect so great a salvation because if they don't they must talk about sin, and hell and what we are escaping from.

Luke 1:77 To give knowledge of salvation unto his people

This was the ministry of John the Baptist, he contended for the faith, he gave knowledge of salvation to the people. The apostate church doesn't want any part of that battle.

Acts 4:12 Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved.

You can't compromise with all the idolatrous names if you are also preaching that there is no salvation in any other name. The apostate church has compromised with Satan, the ecumenical movement embraces all faiths and thus must ignore the fact that there is no salvation in all those other names.

Acts 13:26 Men and brethren, children of the stock of Abraham, and whosoever among you feareth God, to you is the word of this salvation sent.

God's judgement on man

  1. Romans 2:5 - "But because of your hard and impenitent heart you are storing up wrath for yourself on the day of wrath when God's righteous judgment will be revealed."
  2. Romans 14:10-12 - "Why do you pass judgment on your brother? Or you, why do you despise your brother? For we will all stand before the judgment seat of God; for it is written, 'As I live, says the Lord, every knee shall bow to me, and every tongue shall confess to God.' So then each of us will give an account of himself to God."
  3. 2 Corinthians 5:10 - "For we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ, so that each one may receive what is due for what he has done in the body, whether good or evil."
  4. Hebrews 9:27 - "And just as it is appointed for man to die once, and after that comes judgment."
  5. 2 Peter 3:7 - "But by the same word the heavens and earth that now exist are stored up for fire, being kept until the day of judgment and destruction of the ungodly."
  6. Jude 1:14-15 - "It was also about these that Enoch, the seventh from Adam, prophesied, saying, 'Behold, the Lord comes with ten thousands of his holy ones, to execute judgment on all and to convict all the ungodly of all their deeds of ungodliness that they have committed in such an ungodly way, and of all the harsh things that ungodly sinners have spoken against him.'"
  7. Revelation 20:11-15 - "Then I saw a great white throne and him who was seated on it. From his presence earth and sky fled away, and no place was found for them. And I saw the dead, great and small, standing before the throne, and books were opened. Then another book was opened, which is the book of life. And the dead were judged by what was written in the books, according to what they had done. And the sea gave up the dead who were in it, Death and Hades gave up the dead who were in them, and they were judged, each one of them, according to what they had done. Then Death and Hades were thrown into the lake of fire. This is the second death, the lake of fire. And if anyone's name was not found written in the book of life, he was thrown into the lake of fire."

Congress has passed the Biden bill giving him an unlimited checkbook for the next two years and also allowing earmarks. This means the Democrats have been let loose to spend at will as much as they please. The only way to pay for this is by printing money and that in turn will mean increased inflation.

I believe all the Democrats next week will be cheering, clinking glasses of champagne, and celebrating. Meanwhile this "populist movement" known as MAGA is like Samson with his eyes having been gouged out after being betrayed by Delilah (the deep state). He will be chained up and brought out for the worshippers in the Temple of Baal to mock and ridicule. This is gonna be one big party for the the US government, they have revealed themselves to be totally corrupt worshippers of Baal and Moloch. (BTW the strong man (Jesus) pushing out the pillars in this story is why Paul says the church is the pillar and base of the truth, this story refers to the rapture, when the church is removed the temple of the world collapses).

Is Silver about to Skyrocket? 06/01/2023

The Lord does this to fully reveal how corrupt this entire rotten system is. I have been monitoring the situation in the US very closely, not because I get involved in political activism, but because it reveals the corruption and how the tribulation is the only way to clean up this world. It is like the story of Lot, if they had had 50 righteous people we could have avoided this judgement, if we had 10 righteous judges we could have avoided this judgement, but we can now see we don't have that.

Hosea 4:10-19 A horror movie in slow motion

10 “They will eat but not have enough; they will engage in prostitution but not flourish, because they have deserted the Lord to give themselves 11 to prostitution; old wine and new wine take away their understanding.

That is the sick reality of sin, "You can check out any time you like but you can never leave". You cannot leave a criminal organization,. They have been hooked like fish on the line, they can't escape and soon they will be someone's dinner.

12 My people consult a wooden idol, and a diviner’s rod speaks to them. A spirit of prostitution leads them astray; they are unfaithful to their God.

Superstitious gibberish. Consulting a block of wood or watching a stick fall to the ground to interpret what the spirits are saying to you.

13 They sacrifice on the mountaintops and burn offerings on the hills, under oak, poplar and terebinth, where the shade is pleasant. Therefore your daughters turn to prostitution and your daughters-in-law to adultery. 14 “I will not punish your daughters when they turn to prostitution, nor your daughters-in-law when they commit adultery, because the men themselves consort with harlots and sacrifice with shrine prostitutes— a people without understanding will come to ruin!

The children learn from the adults. There is no punishment for fornication or adultery today because these situations generally involve a lot more than what you see on the surface. The women may have been abused for years. A shrine prostitute is simply a Hollywood actor. To pay money for a hollywood movie is to sacrifice with shrine prostitutes.

15 “Though you, Israel, commit adultery, do not let Judah become guilty. “Do not go to Gilgal; do not go up to Beth Aven. And do not swear, ‘As surely as the Lord lives!’

This is the situation today, we need to maintain a clear line of demarcation between what is happening in the street and what is happening in the church. There are laws being passed around the world making it illegal to preach the gospel or to convict people of sin. Christian churches in China must put a portrait of Xi up in the sanctuary. They are crossing a red line for the Lord.

16 The Israelites are stubborn, like a stubborn heifer. How then can the Lord pasture them like lambs in a meadow? 17 Ephraim is joined to idols; leave him alone! 18 Even when their drinks are gone, they continue their prostitution; their rulers dearly love shameful ways. 19 A whirlwind will sweep them away, and their sacrifices will bring them shame.

These protests, Black Lives Matter, Antifa, and the white nationalists will all be swept away. Their sacrifices bring shame.

So I will destroy your mother. The picture Hosea paints of our society is that of a horror movie more terrifying than any Stephen King book. These mothers are living in a society where there is no faithfulness. Their husband wasn’t faithful, their boyfriend wasn’t faithful, and now they are a single mother. This is a society without love. This woman has to raise a bunch of kids without any help. These kids are like little guppies being thrown into a pool with sharks every day. The movies Boyz in the Hood and Gran Torino depict a world in which gangs prowl like a pack of wolves trying to get young boys into their gang. They murder and they rape with impunity. In each movie they show how the only way to rescue these boys is with a very strong father, without that the boy really has no chance. So these mothers watch their kids grow up, day by day, knowing this, seeing it play out day by day. Their life is like the tense scene in a horror movie where you know something is about to happen. The root of the problem is faithfulness, love and acknowledging God. What are the chances that this will happen in our society today? It is nil. In the UK they want to make it illegal to preach the gospel on the street. In Canada they want it to be illegal to put a Bible verse up on a billboard. It is far worse in China, India, or Saudi Arabia. So there is a distinction. In the church the focus is on faithfulness, love and the worship of God. Yet this chapter ridicules priests and prophets. So you have to see the difference between “Israel” and “Judah”. Israel means prince of God. There are churches where the princes and rulers attend. These priests are used to wash their image much the same way as the cartels have people who wash their money. The rich, the wealthy, the powerful go there and when they need to improve their image they will give a million dollars to the church, they will show up at fundraisers, they will do what is necessary. They treat these churches like the public relations wing for their private life. Judah means praise. There are other churches that are composed of the poor, the outcasts and the offscouring of the world. There are not many wise, or rich or powerful among them. But they are known for their praise of the Lord. They are known for their worship of the Lord. You can still have a single mother with a bunch of kids go there but the pastor will take that role of strong father figure. If their kids get in trouble you call the church. If you need to keep them off the streets you put them in the choir. You can live the real life horror story that is the US or you can live a life of praise and worship which is “Judah”. I have seen this story repeated on the internet but for some reason they always think it is the “black mother’s nightmare”. That is baloney. It is the hispanic mother’s nightmare too. Gran Torino was about an asian gang, it is the asian mother’s nightmare as well. Of course that ignores Sandy Hook, Columbine, and the opioid crisis. It is the suburban mother’s nightmare too. Nothing illustrates how unfaithful and unloving our government is than our situation with guns. I lived in a small city in West Texas. I knew people who got a gun as a teenager and held onto that gun for 50 years. They would go hunt pheasant, deer, geese, ducks, etc. They didn’t need cable TV, they had an enjoyable hobby that provided a lot of food for their family over the course of fifty years. It was a father and son activity. It was something they had done in their family from one generation to another. I do not see any reason why gang violence in LA, or tragedies in Sandy Hook should require them to give up their guns. The solution is very simple if you had love and faithfulness. First, you would digitize all our gun records so that any time there is a shooting the police could determine whose gun was involved in the very first day. We have the technology to do this, we don’t because it is seen as the first step towards the government confiscating guns. It has been ruled that the government should not be allowed to keep this computerized record of every gun in the country. Therefore, the second critical step is to require every gun owner to have liability insurance just like we do with a car. If you have had a gun for 50 years without incidence the cost of this insurance would be negligible. But now you are protected if your son plays with your gun and someone gets shot. If you have your guns locked in a cabinet your cost for insurance would be even lower. But what happens is that the insurance companies keep the digital record. Now when a shooting takes place the police send a request to every insurance company with the digital footprint of the gun, they run it through their computers and come back with the person who owns this gun. But wait, no criminal is going to buy this insurance and even if they wanted to, no insurance company would sell it to them. “Young man with two felonies for armed robbery and possession with intent to distribute wants to buy an AR-15 and needs insurance.” No way, no insurance company wants to be on the hook for the damage this guy can do. So now when the cops find a gun on someone you have two violations: possession of an unlicensed gun and no insurance. But, that gun had to be insured before it leaves the factory. First it is insured by the retail outlet and then it is insured by the buyer. What gangs do is get a guy without any criminal record to act as their go between. He buys two dozen rifles then drives back to the gang and they pay him for them. But no insurance company is going to be on the hook for this guy buying two dozen assault rifles. Once we can start tracing these guns we’ll find out the stores that are selling to this person and who this person is. This allows the police to shut them both down. The solution is simple, why don’t they do it? Because criminals buy a lot of guns! It is very profitable for gun dealers, much more so than the guy who buys one rifle and holds onto it for 50 years. After a criminal commits a crime with a gun they toss it in the river and buy another one. They know that if they are caught with that gun they’ll be convicted of the crime. This mother lives in a world where the person she voted for has cut a deal with the gun dealer so that the gun dealer can get rich and the politician can get powerful, and she can live the nightmare. What is the nightmare? Perhaps her husband was shot and killed, or maybe he died while the police were kneeling on his neck. Maybe her son is shot seven times in the back while being apprehended by the police. Maybe he is shot right in front of her grandchildren. She knew this was going to happen and her life was like watching the nightmare in slow motion.

"The term "rapture" is not in the Bible." -- A response

However, Harpazo is in the Bible, rescue is in the Bible, Having the Father send Eleazar to find a bride and taking Rebecca to Isaac is in the Bible. The story of Noah is in the Bible. The story of Enoch being raptured is in the Bible. The story of Elijah being raptured is in the Bible. The resurrection is in the Bible. Following the path Jesus led is in the Bible. Being changed in the twinkling of an eye is in the Bible. The man child being caught up to heaven is in the Bible. Lot being rescued is in the Bible. Two are in the field or in a bed, one is taken the other left is in the Bible. The dead in Christ rise first is in the Bible. You lose credibility trying to scam people with this pathetic argument that "rapture" is not in the Bible inferring that the doctrine of the believers being caught up to the Lord is not in the Bible. We use other non Biblical words to describe Biblical doctrines: Triune, Trinity, imminence, etc.

2Thessalonians 2:6 And now you know what is holding him back, so that he may be revealed at the proper time. 7 For the secret power of lawlessness is already at work; but the one who now holds it back will continue to do so till he is taken out of the way.

"Holding him back"
  1. to hold back, detain, retain
    1. from going away
    2. to restrain, hinder (the course or progress of)
      1. that which hinders, Antichrist from making his appearance
      2. to check a ship's headway i.e. to hold or head the ship
    3. to hold fast, keep secure, keep firm possession of
  2. to get possession of, take
    1. to possess

This is the first spending bill passed that is "unrestrained". Previously all of our spending bills would increase the debt ceiling by a certain amount. Now, they have a blank check for the next two years. You can be sure that with unrestrained spending the "antichrist" behind our government will be revealed.

Religion vs Faith

John 11:47 Then gathered the chief priests and the Pharisees a council, and said, What do we? for this man doeth many miracles. 48 If we let him thus alone, all men will believe on him: and the Romans shall come and take away both our place and nation.

Do you fear God more than the Romans or do you fear the Romans more than God? Who put you in your place, was it God or are you puppets of the Romans?

53 Then from that day forth they took counsel together for to put him to death.

What are you taking counsel about? How to put a man who is speaking the truth to you to death?

John 12:31 Now is the judgment of this world: now shall the prince of this world be cast out.

The rapture will be the beginning of the judgement of this world and it will coincide with the prince of this world being cast out of heaven to the earth.

32 And I, if I be lifted up from the earth, will draw all men unto me.

The rapture will spark a great revival on this earth.

There is an interesting parallel with the two witnesses. For the last 2 days the world has been rejoicing that Jesus is dead but there have been two witnesses that have troubled them during that time, those who have already died in Christ and those who are currently alive. These two groups will be raptured, and that will in turn spark a great revival. Then during the tribulation you will have two witnesses again and the seeds that have been sown on the earth will ripen and they also will be "harvested" and gathered to the barn.

Because they obeyed not the voice of the Lord their God

2Kings 18:11 And the king of Assyria did carry away Israel unto Assyria, and put them in Halah and in Habor by the river of Gozan, and in the cities of the Medes: 12 Because they obeyed not the voice of the Lord their God, but transgressed his covenant, and all that Moses the servant of the Lord commanded, and would not hear them, nor do them.

Doesn't that sound like the US government today?

Mark 10:29-30 Are Persecutions blessings?

Mark 10:29 So Jesus answered and said, “Assuredly, I say to you, there is no one who has left house or brothers or sisters or father or mother or wife or children or lands, for My sake and the gospel’s, 30 who shall not receive a hundredfold now in this time—houses and brothers and sisters and mothers and children and lands, with persecutions—and in the age to come, eternal life.

I just wanted to focus on this word persecutions as a blessing given to those who are absolute for the Lord.

Consider Michael Jordan. He was persecuted by the “Bad boys” of Detroit. Playing Detroit was like getting mugged for him. But it forced him to go the weight room, get stronger so that he could be the one dishing out the pain. This made him a better player and overcoming that adversity was a glory to him. Then look at the teams he beat to win a championship. Larry Bird, Magic Johnson, Stockton and Malone, Indiana Pacers when they were really a stacked team, the Knicks with Ewing in his prime, Orlando Magic with Shaq in his prime. If there hadn’t been any persecution there wouldn’t have been any glory. The persecution made him a better player. Michael Jordan was an all time scoring leader, teams realized they had to stop or at least slow Jordan down to win. So the team’s best defensive player would be assigned and all the defensive schemes were set up to stop him. You can look at this as persecution, God is against me, etc. Or you can say thank you Lord, you are giving me one on one tutoring sessions with the best defensive players in the NBA and the best minds in the business. As a result of that tutoring Jordan became an all star defensive player, not just offensive player. The persecutions keep us balanced, they identify weaknesses, and they tutor us.
