Feast of Wine in the Bible (1)

The New Testament is a covenant that we have with God made in the blood of Jesus. Anyone who is looking for an appointed day for the rapture should be looking first at the New Testament.

The Old Testament is types and shadows and we are told in the NT that those stories are examples unto us that are for our benefit. Therefore it is very clear that the New Testament refers frequently to the Old Testament and even uses the entire covenant as an appendix to our contract.

1. Acts 2:13 Others mocking said, These men are full of new wine.

Pentecost was the feast of New Wine. It is the only Feast that the church kept. Jesus told us He needed new wine skins (the church) to hold new wine (the Holy Spirit) and that if you put the new wine into old wine skins (Jewish religion) they would burst.

14 But Peter, standing up with the eleven, lifted up his voice, and said unto them, Ye men of Judaea, and all ye that dwell at Jerusalem, be this known unto you, and hearken to my words: 15 For these are not drunken, as ye suppose, seeing it is but the third hour of the day.

The third hour of the day is 9am, and that is the time that the Priests pour out the New Wine onto the Earth as an offering to God. You have to do that before you can drink the new wine, hence these men cannot be drunk on New Wine yet as no one has been able to drink any yet. This is a picture of Pentecost, the Lord our High Priest, poured out the Holy Spirit onto the earth at the appointed time.

16 But this is that which was spoken by the prophet Joel; 17 And it shall come to pass in the last days, saith God, I will pour out of my Spirit upon all flesh: and your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, and your young men shall see visions, and your old men shall dream dreams: 18 And on my servants and on my handmaidens I will pour out in those days of my Spirit; and they shall prophesy:

This is what everyone was hearing and has heard throughout the church age. The two thousand years of the church age is "the last days". Human history is six thousand years, which the Bible likens to six days. The last two days are the "last days".

19 And I will shew wonders in heaven above, and signs in the earth beneath; blood, and fire, and vapour of smoke: 20 The sun shall be turned into darkness, and the moon into blood, before the great and notable day of the Lord come:

The great and notable day of the Lord refers to the Lord's judgement on the Earth and on mankind.

21 And it shall come to pass, that whosoever shall call on the name of the Lord shall be saved.

So this is a glorious day, it is also a very serious warning. The dreams, the visions, the prophecies are all telling people the way of salvation. If you ignore that you will perish. It may be that we do not understand this, but those there should have. Pentecost is on the 8th of Av. The 9th of Av is a day of mourning for everything that the Jews lost. The first example was at Mount Sinai when Moses comes down with the marriage contract and breaks it seeing the children of Israel worshipping Moloch and involved in debauchery. The second example is the evil report of the ten spies which was a lack of faith. The third and fourth examples were the destruction of the first and second temple. Again for being faithless and rejecting the word of God, or in Jesus case the incarnated word of God.

This feast is a real depiction of the gospel we share, you can receive the Holy Spirit and be filled with Him and be saved, or else you will have to face the judgement of God based on your own righteousness, your own works, after rejecting the work done by the lamb of God.

Feast of Wine in the Bible (2)

1Corinthians 15:45 And so it is written, The first man Adam was made a living soul; the last Adam was made a quickening spirit.

Jesus is the second Adam. So we can look at the story of Adam and Eve and understand that it is telling us about Jesus.

Ephesians 5:25 Husbands, love your wives, even as Christ also loved the church, and gave himself for it;

When Jesus died on the cross that was Him "giving himself" for His wife, the church. Our covenant with the Lord is a marriage covenant.

26 That he might sanctify and cleanse it with the washing of water by the word, 27 That he might present it to himself a glorious church, not having spot, or wrinkle, or any such thing; but that it should be holy and without blemish.

The church age is an age of being sanctified, made holy, and building that glorious bride just as God built a bride for Adam out of a rib.

28 So ought men to love their wives as their own bodies. He that loveth his wife loveth himself. 29 For no man ever yet hated his own flesh; but nourisheth and cherisheth it, even as the Lord the church: 30 For we are members of his body, of his flesh, and of his bones.

This is a direct reference to Genesis where Adam says "bone of my bones and flesh of my flesh".

31 For this cause shall a man leave his father and mother, and shall be joined unto his wife, and they two shall be one flesh.

Another direct reference to the account of Adam and Eve.

32 This is a great mystery: but I speak concerning Christ and the church.

So then let's consider this "mystery". Adam and Eve eat the forbidden fruit and immediately realize they are naked. To cover up they grab some leaves from a Fig tree. What are the odds that the tree they grabbed the leaves from was the same tree they were standing under when they realized they were naked? We know that the fig leaves represent covering up our nakedness and shame with our own works, whereas God sacrificing an animal and skinning it and making us clothes signified Jesus being crucified and dying for us that our nakedness would be covered. So the story is quite similar to that in Genesis. In Genesis God covers our nakedness with the skins, in Ephesians the husband also washes and cleanses the Bride with water. So imagine the "fig tree generation" refers to this as well. Sinners trying to cover their sins with their own works.

But consider this, Figs are ripe and good to eat at the same time that grapes are. Jesus said that in Him we have life and He said that He was the vine tree, we are His branches. Jesus is the tree of life but at the time of man's sin in the garden they were immediately forbidden from eating the tree of life. Just a few verses before this we learn that we can eat of every tree including the tree of life and now all of a sudden that agreement is over. This is like Moses smashing the marriage contract at Mount Sinai. So we can look at the original sin in the garden as the 8th and 9th of Av. These two days are all about God getting a bride that is glorious, not having spot or wrinkle.

Now some might complain, we don't know that. Well we do know what the appointed days were, there is no way that this was Passover, or Unleavened bread, or first fruits, or Shavuot. Figs are not ripe then. Perhaps it could be the Feast of Trumpets on a Jubilee year. It is possible that figs would still be on the tree at that time. But it is far less likely because we know Satan and he is always jumping the gun, impatient. Do you really think he would wait two months to tempt Eve knowing at any moment they could eat from the tree of life? If the tree of Life is the vine tree he is going to want to tempt Eve before the grapes are ripe. This is when the Feast of New wine is, the grapes have just been made into wine for the first time, just about ready to drink. Satan is not going to give them a chance to drink that cup.

Therefore we can see how big the feast of wine is, this is the day we enjoy drinking from the tree of Life. We see that on Pentecost. The Spirit was taken from man the day they sinned and was returned to man on the day of Pentecost.

Feast of Wine in the Bible (3)

Dr. Barry Awe gave a number of Old Testament types and shadows pointing to the feast of Pentecost. I am taking these and demonstrating that they are all part of our New Testament covenant with Jesus.

Luke 17:26 And as it was in the days of Noe, so shall it be also in the days of the Son of man.

We are told in the New Testament, by Jesus, that the days of Noah are given to us as a template for the days of the Son of Man. Therefore this story in Genesis is part of our NT covenant concerning the days of the Son of Man.

1. We see that when Methuselah dies Noah and his family enter the ark. That is a fulfillment of prophecy. So we can expect a number of prophecies to be fulfilled prior to the flood.

2. They enter in seven days before the flood just as the dove is drawn into the ark seven days before being let out again.

3. This story is likened by Peter to our baptism. Going through the flood in the ark is a picture of the church age. Jesus is "Noah", the seven refer to the churches, going through the flood in the ark refers to trials and tribulations which is depicted in our being baptized. The entire church age refers to the "days of the Son of man" just as "the last days" also refer to the church age, the last two thousand years of human history.

4. The Ark comes to rest on the mountain which means "reverse the curse". The church (signified by the ark) needs to rest on the finished work of Jesus Christ on the cross.

5. Then, it is like a bathtub and someone pulls the stopper. The water begins to assuage. For all of human history the water (people on the earth) were rising and rising. Now the water is being drained. This began with the pandemic. Suicide is now encouraged as a medical solution to old age and other "expensive" illnesses. The Georgia Guidestones told us the goal is to reduce human population from 8 billion to 500 million. The Pandemic, the vaccine, abortion, these are all human efforts to drain the flood of people from the earth.

6. Then on the 8th/9th of Av Noah releases the dove and the raven. The dove (Holy Spirit) returns to the ark and is pulled inside. This is what happened during the days of the Son of Man. On the 8th of Av the Holy Spirit was poured out on man (Pentecost) and then on the very same day at the end of the church age the Holy Spirit is pulled back into the ark (the rapture). Meanwhile Satan (the raven) runs to and fro over the face of the earth).

7. Seven days later the dove is released (at the end of the seven year tribulation) and goes and retrieves an olive branch (Israel).

27 They did eat, they drank, they married wives, they were given in marriage, until the day that Noah entered into the ark, and the flood came, and destroyed them all.

This is a direct reference to the 8th and 9th of Av. On the feast of new wine you eat and drink, you marry and are given in marriage. The next day is the 9th of Av, it is a day of fasting, mourning, no drinking, no marrying.

Feast of Wine in the Bible (4)

Dr. Barry Awe gave a number of Old Testament types and shadows pointing to the feast of Pentecost. I am taking these and demonstrating that they are all part of our New Testament covenant with Jesus.

1Timothy 3:15 But if I tarry long, that thou mayest know how thou oughtest to behave thyself in the house of God, which is the church of the living God, the pillar and ground of the truth.

Paul calls the church the pillar and base of the truth. Where did he get that? Every Hebrew and Greek word is also a number. Every letter in these two alphabets equals a number. This is called gematria where you can make connections between words and terms based on them having the same number value. The number value of the pillar in the story of Samson is equal to the number value of the church. Jesus is the strong man, ie Samson. So this story about Samson pushing out the pillars is a shadow of the New Testament doctrine of the church being harpazo'd out of this world.

Judges 16:21 But the Philistines took him, and put out his eyes, and brought him down to Gaza, and bound him with fetters of brass; and he did grind in the prison house.

Grinding refers to making flour out of barley and wheat. In other words since Jesus was crucified and resurrected, since the feast of first fruits with the Barley Jesus has been grinding this wheat. Year after year during the church age the saints have been fed from the word of God, bread that has been ground by the strong man.

22 Howbeit the hair of his head began to grow again after he was shaven.

The crucifixion violated the Nazarene vow. A nazarite cannot touch something that is dead without having to start over with their vow. Jesus chose to go into death despite the cost.

23 Then the lords of the Philistines gathered them together for to offer a great sacrifice unto Dagon their god, and to rejoice: for they said, Our god hath delivered Samson our enemy into our hand.

So what is the "great feast" that happens after the wheat harvest? It is the fruit harvest for sure, and most likely the feast of new wine. This is not a feast in the Bible, it is a feast to Dagon, but remember this, Satan is a counterfeiter. He does not do anything that is original. He doesn't design his own temple, he wants to use God's design. He understands that God is the real currency, so like any counterfeiter the Antichrist will be a counterfeit of Jesus Christ. So it is no stretch to assume that this "great feast to Dagon" is actually the feast of New wine. It doesn't matter if you are Philistines or Jews, the grapes are going to be ripe at the same time. This "great feast to Dagon" would also celebrate the day that man sinned and fell, which also appears to be the date of the Feast of New wine.

24 And when the people saw him, they praised their god: for they said, Our god hath delivered into our hands our enemy, and the destroyer of our country, which slew many of us.

So Samson stops grinding wheat and is brought into this temple to Dagon.

25 And it came to pass, when their hearts were merry, that they said, Call for Samson, that he may make us sport. And they called for Samson out of the prison house; and he made them sport: and they set him between the pillars.

Their hearts were merry, this is like the reference to the disciples on feast of Pentecost. In other words, when they were drunk on new wine. According to Paul they set Samson between the two pillars representing the church. Jesus is standing in the midst of the church as we are ridiculed and mocked by these worshippers of Satan.

26 And Samson said unto the lad that held him by the hand, Suffer me that I may feel the pillars whereupon the house standeth, that I may lean upon them.

Imagine that, for two thousand years the church has been built up and grown up into a full grown man so that now at the end of the age Jesus can "lean upon them".

27 Now the house was full of men and women; and all the lords of the Philistines were there; and there were upon the roof about three thousand men and women, that beheld while Samson made sport.

This number of 3,000 is a direct reference to the 8th and 9th of Av. On the 9th of Av 3,000 were killed at the foot of Mt. Sinai. On the 8th of Av on the day of Pentecost in Acts 3,000 were saved. Now on this date in the story of Samson 3,000 worshippers of Dagon will die. There is a very similar design in the hat of the Dagon priests and the hat that the pope wears. There is also a direct connection between Jesuits infiltrating mega churches in the US and saying they can't teach about the rapture. They will all die when the rapture takes place.

28 And Samson called unto the Lord, and said, O Lord God, remember me, I pray thee, and strengthen me, I pray thee, only this once, O God, that I may be at once avenged of the Philistines for my two eyes.

What was his two eyes about? He was deceived by Delilah. Imagine you are a young man, deceived by Delilah and wind up marrying a harlot who stabs you in the back. This is "his two eyes". We had Jews who were worshippers of Moloch on the 9th of Av when God was about to marry them, and then at the end of the age we will have the apostate church that Jesus is about to marry.

29 And Samson took hold of the two middle pillars upon which the house stood, and on which it was borne up, of the one with his right hand, and of the other with his left.

The right hand of Jesus is the watchmen on the wall, speaking from the word of God that Jesus is coming and you need to repent and be saved. The left hand of Jesus is people like Steve Bannon who talks about going medieval on this corrupt regime and exposing all their sins and corruption.

30 And Samson said, Let me die with the Philistines. And he bowed himself with all his might; and the house fell upon the lords, and upon all the people that were therein. So the dead which he slew at his death were more than they which he slew in his life.

This must be the attitude of the believers. 80% of believers will go through the tribulation and will die with the Philistines. Samson realized he was deceived because of his error, in the same way it will be with most believers. The good news is Jesus associates himself with you and will go through the tribulation with you.

This is one of those signs of the rapture that I have been searching for. I wanted to know the signs that we would see right before the rapture.

Jesus is taken out of the prison house where he is grinding grain. That means the grinding of grain stops.

Many of the watchman have had this response, the latest being Dr. Barry Awe saying the same thing that he has the sense that his job that the Lord assigned him is done. Now, even though the grinding has stopped it doesn't mean we have run out of flour.

in Post 9,019 I said I was sounding the alarm for the Lord's return. That was not my title, the Lord changed the title when I was ready to post it. As soon as I posted it I saw Watchman on the Wall 88 also "sounded the alarm" and posted his link post #9,020. Then I posted link to Prophetic Watchman 88 #9,021 he posted "The Final Countdown" to the 9th of Av. Then yesterday Dr. Barry Awe posted his video, also referencing "The Final countdown" where he said that he had an overwhelming anointing to pursue what he has been pursing for several years, and that now that anointing has lifted. He has the sense that the mission has been completed. All of this sounds like Jesus has been brought out of the Prison house and has stopped grinding grain.

Feast of Wine in the Bible (5)

Luke 22:15 And he said unto them, With desire I have desired to eat this passover with you before I suffer: 16 For I say unto you, I will not any more eat thereof, until it be fulfilled in the kingdom of God. 17 And he took the cup, and gave thanks, and said, Take this, and divide it among yourselves: 18 For I say unto you, I will not drink of the fruit of the vine, until the kingdom of God shall come.

This is the wine cup of the wedding engagement. The Lord is telling them that this is a marriage covenant.

In the story of Mt. Sinai it was the Levites who stood with Moses against the worshippers of Moloch. The reward for this was they became priests to God. In Exodus 29 they sanctify and consecrate them to the priesthood and that is the only place in Exodus where they have an offering of wine.

Exodus 32:20 And he took the calf which they had made, and burnt it in the fire, and ground it to powder, and strawed it upon the water, and made the children of Israel drink of it.

What the children of Israel got was not the wine cup of their marriage covenant, instead they got this bitter water to drink. This is what a jealous husband does if he suspects his wife of adultery. Moses breaking the tablets of the ten commandments was him breaking the marriage contract. We often skip over these chapters and see that things are continuing with God's move on earth and assume all is forgiven and forgotten. That is not what happened. Those who were guilty of idol worship were killed. After drinking the bitter water they swelled up and the Levites came through and killed them. God hates sin and He judges it. He spared not His only son, you think He would spare a bunch of Moloch worshippers engaged in debauchery? But, God is a righteous God. He knows that not everyone was involved. The people who sinned, their carcasses were strewn about in the wilderness.

So we have this same picture in the New Testament. The Lord Jesus will be coming down from heaven with the marriage contract and when He does come some will get the wine cup of the marriage contract, like the Levites who are consecrated to the Temple. Others will get the cup of wrath, the apostate church that is involved in idol worship.

Dr. Barry Awe gave a number of Old Testament types and shadows pointing to the feast of Pentecost. I am taking these and demonstrating that they are all part of our New Testament covenant with Jesus.

Hebrews 3:17 But with whom was he grieved forty years? was it not with them that had sinned, whose carcases fell in the wilderness?

This is a direct reference to this story in Numbers about the 9th of Av.

Numbers 14:26 And the Lord spake unto Moses and unto Aaron, saying, 27 How long shall I bear with this evil congregation, which murmur against me? I have heard the murmurings of the children of Israel, which they murmur against me. 28 Say unto them, As truly as I live, saith the Lord, as ye have spoken in mine ears, so will I do to you: 29 Your carcases shall fall in this wilderness; and all that were numbered of you, according to your whole number, from twenty years old and upward which have murmured against me. 30 Doubtless ye shall not come into the land, concerning which I sware to make you dwell therein, save Caleb the son of Jephunneh, and Joshua the son of Nun. 31 But your little ones, which ye said should be a prey, them will I bring in, and they shall know the land which ye have despised. 32 But as for you, your carcases, they shall fall in this wilderness. 33 And your children shall wander in the wilderness forty years, and bear your whoredoms, until your carcases be wasted in the wilderness.

Hebrews 3:18 And to whom sware he that they should not enter into his rest, but to them that believed not? 19 So we see that they could not enter in because of unbelief.

This is a direct reference to the rapture when we enter into the Lord's rest. Caleb was faithful, he had another spirit, he does enter in, meanwhile all those who were in unbelief don't. This is what we refer to as the pre tribulation rapture and the "left behind". This is straight from the New Testament.

Dr. Barry Awe gave a number of Old Testament types and shadows pointing to the feast of Pentecost. I am taking these and demonstrating that they are all part of our New Testament covenant with Jesus.

1Corinthians 15:52 In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump: for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed.

1Corinthians 10:5 But with many of them God was not well pleased: for they were overthrown in the wilderness. 6 Now these things were our examples, to the intent we should not lust after evil things, as they also lusted. 7 Neither be ye idolaters, as were some of them; as it is written, The people sat down to eat and drink, and rose up to play. 8 Neither let us commit fornication, as some of them committed, and fell in one day three and twenty thousand. 9 Neither let us tempt Christ, as some of them also tempted, and were destroyed of serpents. 10 Neither murmur ye, as some of them also murmured, and were destroyed of the destroyer. 11 Now all these things happened unto them for examples: and they are written for our admonition, upon whom the ends of the world are come.

This is the same letter where Paul says the dead in Christ are raised, he also tells us that all these things concerning the Lord's judgement on the 9th of Av were an example for us. So where is the example of the dead in Christ being raised? It is in this same portion.

21 Ye cannot drink the cup of the Lord, and the cup of devils: ye cannot be partakers of the Lord's table, and of the table of devils.

We have already seen that either you get the cup of blessing or you get the cup of wrath, and that is on the 8th and 9th of Av.

This is also seen in the dead in Christ rising first. Every year for the next 38 years on the 9th of Av everyone would dig a grave and lie in it. In the morning 15,000 would be dead, but the rest would rise up. Then on the 39th year everyone rose up, none died. This is an example of the dead in Christ rising. And this also is part of the New Testament covenant we have with Jesus.

1Thessalonians 4:16 For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first:

Feast of Wine in the Bible (8)

Dr. Barry Awe gave a number of Old Testament types and shadows pointing to the feast of Pentecost. I am taking these and demonstrating that they are all part of our New Testament covenant with Jesus.

Acts 2:2 And suddenly there came a sound from heaven as of a rushing mighty wind, and it filled all the house where they were sitting.

What is this rushing mighty wind and do we see this in typology in the OT?

Pentecost is when the Spirit returned to man. It left at the fall of man and it returned on the Feast of New wine when Jesus poured out the promise of the Spirit on mankind.

Genesis 1:2 And the earth was without form, and void; and darkness was upon the face of the deep. And the Spirit of God moved upon the face of the waters.

The Spirit is the breath of God, the wind.

Genesis 1:6 And God said, Let there be a firmament in the midst of the waters, and let it divide the waters from the waters. 7 And God made the firmament, and divided the waters which were under the firmament from the waters which were above the firmament: and it was so. 8 And God called the firmament Heaven. And the evening and the morning were the second day.

The second day refers to 2,000 years, and that is when God called out Abraham to be separate from the idolatrous world.

9 And God said, Let the waters under the heaven be gathered together unto one place, and let the dry land appear: and it was so. 10 And God called the dry land Earth; and the gathering together of the waters called he Seas: and God saw that it was good. 11 And God said, Let the earth bring forth grass, the herb yielding seed, and the fruit tree yielding fruit after his kind, whose seed is in itself, upon the earth: and it was so. 12 And the earth brought forth grass, and herb yielding seed after his kind, and the tree yielding fruit, whose seed was in itself, after his kind: and God saw that it was good. 13 And the evening and the morning were the third day.

Third day is 3,000 years, that is when the Nation of Israel was formed, the dry land.

14 And God said, Let there be lights in the firmament of the heaven to divide the day from the night; and let them be for signs, and for seasons, and for days, and years: 15 And let them be for lights in the firmament of the heaven to give light upon the earth: and it was so. 16 And God made two great lights; the greater light to rule the day, and the lesser light to rule the night: he made the stars also. 17 And God set them in the firmament of the heaven to give light upon the earth, 18 And to rule over the day and over the night, and to divide the light from the darkness: and God saw that it was good. 19 And the evening and the morning were the fourth day.

The fourth day is when we got the entire OT along with all the prophets, the psalmists, the Torah, etc. This set the stage for the fulfillment of time for when the word could be incarnated.

20 And God said, Let the waters bring forth abundantly the moving creature that hath life, and fowl that may fly above the earth in the open firmament of heaven. 21 And God created great whales, and every living creature that moveth, which the waters brought forth abundantly, after their kind, and every winged fowl after his kind: and God saw that it was good. 22 And God blessed them, saying, Be fruitful, and multiply, and fill the waters in the seas, and let fowl multiply in the earth. 23 And the evening and the morning were the fifth day.

The fifth day is the first thousand years of the church age, the age of grace. The waters refer to the peoples of the earth. This was a time when the gospel was able to go forth to all the nations.

24 And God said, Let the earth bring forth the living creature after his kind, cattle, and creeping thing, and beast of the earth after his kind: and it was so. 25 And God made the beast of the earth after his kind, and cattle after their kind, and every thing that creepeth upon the earth after his kind: and God saw that it was good. 26 And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness: and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth. 27 So God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them. 28 And God blessed them, and God said unto them, Be fruitful, and multiply, and replenish the earth, and subdue it: and have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over every living thing that moveth upon the earth. 29 And God said, Behold, I have given you every herb bearing seed, which is upon the face of all the earth, and every tree, in the which is the fruit of a tree yielding seed; to you it shall be for meat. 30 And to every beast of the earth, and to every fowl of the air, and to every thing that creepeth upon the earth, wherein there is life, I have given every green herb for meat: and it was so. 31 And God saw every thing that he had made, and, behold, it was very good. And the evening and the morning were the sixth day.

The sixth day is when we saw the great servants of the Lord. Martin Luther, JNN Darby, the Brethren, Hudson Taylor, and many more. They plowed the fields, they were used to grind the grain, they made concordances, Vine's dictionary, and many expositions of the Bible. Then God made man, in the image and likeness of Jesus Christ. This is when the church began to take on the image of Jesus and match Him as His counterpart. This is where we are today. Now this account will move on to the seventh day, the millennial reign, but then we will come back to the making of man and discover first it was Adam and then Eve was built from His rib after He had been put to sleep. We have already discussed this when we talked about the great mystery of Christ in Ephesians 5.

This reference to the rushing mighty wind in Acts 2 is a reference back to Genesis 1 and a reference to God's Spirit moving and working on the Earth. At the end of six thousand years God will have Jesus Christ King of all and His Bride and to them will be given dominion over all the earth. They will express God, they will be in His likeness and made after His image. We learned in Colossians that the image of God is Jesus Christ.

God is precise, like a clock. If the rushing mighty wind was on Pentecost it indicates that was the start of the fifth day. That means that it was also the start of the first day (Fall of Man), second day, the third day, the fourth day, and the fifth day. Jesus was baptized on the 8th of Av, the heavens opened up and the Spirit descended on Him as a dove. Four years later (four in Hebrew is the door) the Spirit descended on the 120 at Pentecost. Likewise at the end of the age the heavens will open up again and this time the Spirit will leave, as a dove, that is the rapture.

2Thessalonians 2:1 Now we beseech you, brethren, by the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ, and by our gathering together unto him, 2 That ye be not soon shaken in mind, or be troubled, neither by spirit, nor by word, nor by letter as from us, as that the day of Christ is at hand. 3 Let no man deceive you by any means: for that day shall not come, except there come a falling away first, and that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition; 4 Who opposeth and exalteth himself above all that is called God, or that is worshipped; so that he as God sitteth in the temple of God, shewing himself that he is God. 5 Remember ye not, that, when I was yet with you, I told you these things? 6 And now ye know what withholdeth that he might be revealed in his time. 7 For the mystery of iniquity doth already work: only he who now letteth will let, until he be taken out of the way.

The Holy Spirit is the restrainer. He came down to man, for two thousand years He has worked to build a bride for Christ and then He will return with the Bride to Christ. Our gathering together to Him is a reference to our rapture.

Therefore if God is precise and this is the start of each of these thousand year days, then it is reasonable that the age of grace will be completed with the rapture on this day, and this event will be like thrusting those left behind into the wilderness to fast and pray for forty days and then to be tempted of Satan.

Feast of Wine in the Bible (9)

2Corinthians 5:1 For we know that if our earthly house of this tabernacle were dissolved, we have a building of God, an house not made with hands, eternal in the heavens.

This is a direct reference to our having the "mansion" that the Lord mentioned in John 14.

2 For in this we groan, earnestly desiring to be clothed upon with our house which is from heaven: 3 If so be that being clothed we shall not be found naked.

This is reference to when the Lord returns, some will be found naked, others will be clothed in white.

4 For we that are in this tabernacle do groan, being burdened: not for that we would be unclothed, but clothed upon, that mortality might be swallowed up of life.

That is the rapture. Whether it is the dead in Christ rising first, or it is those who are alive.

5 Now he that hath wrought us for the selfsame thing is God, who also hath given unto us the earnest of the Spirit.

The earnest of the Spirit was given to us at Pentecost the Feast of New Wine. The use of the word "selfsame" thing appears to be a reference to Caleb receiving his inheritance on the selfsame day.

What Dr. Barry Awe is teaching and i don't have a reference for it, is that Caleb (the word means dog and indicates that even though Caleb was the leader of the tribe of Judah he was a gentile and signifies the gentiles getting their inheritance) got his inheritance on the selfsame day that he had given the good report. That may be rabbinical tradition.

One thing I would point out is that Paul said these holy days are "a shadow of things to come" and he said that after Jesus was crucified, buried and rose again, and then ascended. So although we see those things as fulfilling Passover, Unleavened bread, First Fruits and Shavuot, according to Paul they are still things to come that they are a shadow of. Likewise with Pentecost. With all the other feasts of the OT we are given references to fulfillments for us. Passover becomes the Lord's table, unleavened bread becomes our purging out the old leaven of traditional teachings that result in sin, first fruits is the resurrection, Shavuot is the Lord's ascension. However, with Pentecost we are given that as a feast day. That is the only feast day given to us in the New Testament. Though it is understood that Passover became the Lord's table and we don't keep it once a year but weekly or monthly and Paul says specifically "whenever". But Pentecost is not like that, the describe it as "when it had fully come". So just as the 120 were in the upper room praying and in the word of God for 50 days till Pentecost had come we have been in the upper room in the word and in prayer for the entire age of grace waiting for the rapture to fully come. And there is this hint that it will come on the selfsame day.

Ephesians 5:24 Therefore as the church is subject unto Christ, so let the wives be to their own husbands in every thing.

In the book of Ephesians the church is the Bride of Christ and is likened to Eve. However, the church is the gentile bride. We have two examples of a gentile bride in the OT.

In Genesis Leah is said to be "weak eyes" or some understand that to mean "blue eyes". She is the older sister just as the nations predated Israel. She is considered a type of Israel's (prince of God = Jesus) gentile bride. She had seven children just as the Gentiles have seven churches. The last child is a daughter just as Laodicea, the last church, is the weakest one.

The other bride is Ruth. This is the 8th book of the Bible, the number 8 signifies a new beginning and this book proves God judges man not according to the flesh but according to the heart. In her heart Ruth said "your people will be my people and your God will be my God" and as a result she was seen not as a moabitess which was cursed, but as the widow of an Israelite that the Lord could redeem. Why is the church the widow of an an Israelite? Because Jesus is our husband and He was crucified on the cross. If you don't view yourself as a widow then you are not abiding in the cross and you will not be in this gentile bride of Christ.

Ruth 3:2b Behold, he winnoweth barley to night in the threshingfloor.

The firstfruits of barley were when Jesus resurrected from the dead. The general harvest would come in around Shavuot before you get the first fruits of the wheat. This is around the time of Jesus ascension. This is when the disciples were saved. She sleeps at his feet like a faithful dog, this is the flip side of Caleb. So let's compare Caleb, he had a different spirit, he saw the giants but said we are well able to take the land. Ruth knew she would be a despised Moabitess but she despised the shame, she had a different spirit from the other widow, and she believed that she would be well able to be one with God's people and take God as her God. Caleb was faithful and Ruth was faithful. Caleb proves that God is faithful and Ruth proves that God is not ruthless. We read the Bible and the laws appear ruthless until you know that God does not judge according to outward appearance but according to the heart.

Ruth 4:10 Moreover Ruth the Moabitess, the wife of Mahlon, have I purchased to be my wife, to raise up the name of the dead upon his inheritance, that the name of the dead be not cut off from among his brethren, and from the gate of his place: ye are witnesses this day.

According to Ephesians we were saved when we were dead in our offenses and sins. The same is true of Ruth. We know she was married to Boaz after the Barley harvest, and we know she is the Gentile bride. The church had our betrothal ceremony on the Feast of New wine and we also are the Gentile bride.

Feast of Wine in the Bible (11)

Dr. Barry Awe gave a number of Old Testament types and shadows pointing to the feast of Pentecost. I am taking these and demonstrating that they are all part of our New Testament covenant with Jesus.

Romans 10:19 But I say, Did not Israel know? First Moses saith, I will provoke you to jealousy by them that are no people, and by a foolish nation I will anger you.

This is in Romans which is "the gospel according to Paul". Here are the verses that Paul is referring to.

Deuteronomy 32:17 They sacrificed unto devils, not to God; to gods whom they knew not, to new gods that came newly up, whom your fathers feared not.

This is a direct reference to the brazen calf that they worshipped which Aaron made them.

18 Of the Rock that begat thee thou art unmindful, and hast forgotten God that formed thee. 19 And when the Lord saw it, he abhorred them, because of the provoking of his sons, and of his daughters. 20 And he said, I will hide my face from them, I will see what their end shall be: for they are a very froward generation, children in whom is no faith. 21 They have moved me to jealousy with that which is not God; they have provoked me to anger with their vanities: and I will move them to jealousy with those which are not a people; I will provoke them to anger with a foolish nation.

This is why the date is so important because it is speaking to Israel which provoked Jesus.

Romans 11:11 I say then, Have they stumbled that they should fall? God forbid: but rather through their fall salvation is come unto the Gentiles, for to provoke them to jealousy.

There is only one aspect of the Gentiles salvation that all Jews everywhere will see, and that is the harpazo, the rapture. They don't see when you receive Jesus into your heart, they don't see when each believer is baptized. But when the dead in Christ rise first and then all the believers are raptured to the sky it will be a worldwide phenomenon, the videos will go viral, and all the Jews will know based on the date what the meaning is. It will be the 9th of Av when they see all these videos and hear this news and they will realize it was their unbelief that has kept them from entering in. Now this may not happen immediately. When the 38 years of wandering in the wilderness was up (they had already spent two years prior to the curse) the Jews at first did not realize the curse was up. So for seven days from the 9th of Av to the 15th of Av they continued to lie in the graves and then they rejoiced because the curse was over. Likewise, the rapture will be seven years before the Jews realize they too have been saved.

Dr. Barry Awe gave a number of Old Testament types and shadows pointing to the feast of Pentecost. I am taking these and demonstrating that they are all part of our New Testament covenant with Jesus.

1Corinthians 11:23 For I have received of the Lord that which also I delivered unto you, that the Lord Jesus the same night in which he was betrayed took bread:

The same night in which He was betrayed! That is the 9th of Av, that is the night in which the Lord was betrayed. In the Old Testament God was betrayed on this night, and He chose a foolish nation in order to provoke Israel to Jealousy for doing that. Then it will also be "the same night" in which "He is betrayed" by the apostasy. The story of Samson is a story of betrayal. The Fall of man is a story of Betrayal. It is the selfsame day that the Lord will use for the rapture to make a statement.

24 And when he had given thanks, he brake it, and said, Take, eat: this is my body, which is broken for you: this do in remembrance of me. 25 After the same manner also he took the cup, when he had supped, saying, this cup is the new testament in my blood: this do ye, as oft as ye drink it, in remembrance of me.

Jesus' banner over us is love. The banner over His head is "the King of the Jews" which in Hebrew is a direct reference to God's name. But the banner over us is the body and blood given for us.

26 For as often as ye eat this bread, and drink this cup, ye do shew the Lord's death till he come.

Jesus has brought us to the "banqueting house". This word in Song of Songs is only translated "banqueting" once, 138 other times it is translated as "wine". He brought us to the house of wine. The wine is His blood. The blood of the covenant by which we have been saved and redeemed.

Song of Songs 2:4 He brought me to the banqueting house, and his banner over me was love.

Dr. Barry Awe gave a number of Old Testament types and shadows pointing to the feast of Pentecost. I am taking these and demonstrating that they are all part of our New Testament covenant with Jesus.

1Corinthians 6:19 What? know ye not that your body is the temple of the Holy Ghost which is in you, which ye have of God, and ye are not your own?

Ephesians 2:19 Now therefore ye are no more strangers and foreigners, but fellowcitizens with the saints, and of the household of God; 20 And are built upon the foundation of the apostles and prophets, Jesus Christ himself being the chief corner stone; 21 In whom all the building fitly framed together groweth unto an holy temple in the Lord: 22 In whom ye also are builded together for an habitation of God through the Spirit.

The Lord dwells in us, we are His "home", His temple. But even more the church is built into a holy temple in the Lord. The temple being removed is a very big event. It happened twice before, both times on the 9th of Av. However, Jesus specifically refers to temple being removed and there not being one stone left upon another as the sign of the beginning of the great and terrible "Day of the Lord". Peter says that judgment must begin with the house of God. Always in the past the judgment on the House of God takes place on the 9th of Av. The "Day of the Lord" is a day of judgment on the earth and it must begin with judgement on the house of God and that means the 9th of Av.

Luke 21:6 As for these things which ye behold, the days will come, in the which there shall not be left one stone upon another, that shall not be thrown down.

This does not mean that every stone will be thrown down. Only the stones that are upon another stone will be thrown down. If you dug down to the rock and your faith is on Christ alone, you will not be thrown down. When Samson pushed out the pillars it was the stones that were resting on those pillars that were thrown down. Many Christians rely on someone else, they rely on a preacher to read the word and share something. They rely on others to have a ministry, or to do all the work. When you go to a church you will see there is the pastor, a worship team, children's ministry and few others who do all the work, about 20% of the members. The other 80% are simply spectators. The spectators will be thrown down.

It is not simply the apostate church. Some false brethren will receive terrible judgment for deceiving many. They may be beaten and killed by the mobs. But other Christians will simply be thrown down because they have based their faith upon another stone rather than upon Jesus Christ, the rock of Ages.

John 19:34 But one of the soldiers with a spear pierced his side, and forthwith came there out blood and water.

This is the only gospel that refers to the side being pierced and blood and water flowing out. The synoptic gospels present Jesus as a man being crucified, in the same way that we suffer, so that He can empathize with us. But John presents Jesus as God. From His side blood and water was taken to build the bride.

In Genesis God takes a rib from Adam's side to build Eve. This is a picture of God taking blood and water from the side of Jesus, the second Adam, to build a bride.

In Exodus Moses comes down from the mountain, smashes the ten commandments and asks "who is on the Lord's side".

Exodus 32:26 Then Moses stood in the gate of the camp, and said, Who is on the Lord's side? let him come unto me. And all the sons of Levi gathered themselves together unto him.

Ask yourself, is your testimony that you are on the Lord's side? If so then you will be raptured. Is your testimony that your life is built on nothing less than the blood and water that flowed from Jesus side? If so, then you will be raptured.

Revelation 12:2 And she being with child cried, travailing in birth, and pained to be delivered. 3 And there appeared another wonder in heaven; and behold a great red dragon, having seven heads and ten horns, and seven crowns upon his heads. 4 And his tail drew the third part of the stars of heaven, and did cast them to the earth: and the dragon stood before the woman which was ready to be delivered, for to devour her child as soon as it was born. 5 And she brought forth a man child, who was to rule all nations with a rod of iron: and her child was caught up unto God, and to his throne.

This is a picture of the rapture at the same time that we are caught up, Satan is cast down. This is what we see with the pillars of the temple being caught up while all those idol worshippers are cast down. This is what we see with the Levites being called up to Moses while 3,000 are killed. This is what we see with Noah, he releases both the Dove and the Raven depicting the Holy Spirit and Satan. The day that all these things takes place is the 9th of Av.
