A master class in responding to hypocrisy
Matthew 22:15 Then went the Pharisees, and took counsel how they might entangle him in his talk. 16 And they sent out unto him their disciples with the Herodians, saying, Master, we know that thou art true, and teachest the way of God in truth, neither carest thou for any man: for thou regardest not the person of men.
They want Jesus to answer this question based on "truth" and "not regarding the person of man". Rule 1 -- don't take the gift from the enemy.
17 Tell us therefore, What thinkest thou? Is it lawful to give tribute unto Caesar, or not?
They have phrased the question into an A or a B, and either answer is designed to be divisive. Rule #2 -- Do not accept the enemies framework.
18 But Jesus perceived their wickedness, and said, Why tempt ye me, ye hypocrites? 19 Shew me the tribute money. And they brought unto him a penny.
This is the big rule, when given a treacherous attempt like this our natural inclination is to strike out, look how evil this is, look how wicked. We want to run from a question like this. Instead, Jesus focuses in like going to a higher power on the microscope. Rule #3 -- Put the enemies questions under a microscope.
20 And he saith unto them, Whose is this image and superscription? 21 They say unto him, Caesar's. Then saith he unto them, Render therefore unto Caesar the things which are Caesar's; and unto God the things that are God's. 22 When they had heard these words, they marvelled, and left him, and went their way.
To me this is like baseball, hitters will see the pitch before it leaves the pitchers hand. They see how he is holding the ball, the release.
23 The same day came to him the Sadducees, which say that there is no resurrection, and asked him,
Notice how the Bible lets us know the background of the Sadducees, what they believe. Rule #4 -- Do your homework, you need to know basic doctrines and be able to rebut error.
24 Saying, Master, Moses said, If a man die, having no children, his brother shall marry his wife, and raise up seed unto his brother. 25 Now there were with us seven brethren: and the first, when he had married a wife, deceased, and, having no issue, left his wife unto his brother: 26 Likewise the second also, and the third, unto the seventh. 27 And last of all the woman died also. 28 Therefore in the resurrection whose wife shall she be of the seven? for they all had her.
This is how atheists talk, with all kinds of hypotheticals. These guys (all atheists) think they are smart, smarter than God, and so they first define the rules of "the game". They only will look at the Torah, you can't quote Psalms or the prophets. Second, they take a law in the Torah about what to do if a woman's husband dies (during the old testament it was very common for ment to die in battle or from an infection.) No one who is married looks forward to returning to the "dating scene". This is quite merciful and probably greatly reduces the immorality. So they will try and take some seemingly unrelated topic in the Bible to prove their is no resurrection with a hypothetical.
29 Jesus answered and said unto them, Ye do err, not knowing the scriptures, nor the power of God. 30 For in the resurrection they neither marry, nor are given in marriage, but are as the angels of God in heaven.
The Lord's critique is blunt and brutal. Rule #5 -- When speaking the truth that is offensive be as concise as possible. To me this is like football, everyone wants to make the tackle with their shoulder, but the correct way is head on, eyes up. Don't shy away when giving a word like this. Don't make it personal, but do make it precise, accurate, and thorough.
31 But as touching the resurrection of the dead, have ye not read that which was spoken unto you by God, saying, 32 I am the God of Abraham, and the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob? God is not the God of the dead, but of the living.
Notice how in this case Jesus is playing by their rules. The Sadducees teach that when you die that is it, you are gone, poof. Jesus quotes from the Torah where God is talking to Moses, saying "I am the God of Abraham"! If Abraham had gone "poof" then why would God say this? This proves that you don't go "poof" when you die, but your soul continues to exist. Rule #6 -- The Bible is omnipotent and omniscient, do not be afraid of putting it to the test.
33 And when the multitude heard this, they were astonished at his doctrine. 34 But when the Pharisees had heard that he had put the Sadducees to silence, they were gathered together. 35 Then one of them, which was a lawyer, asked him a question, tempting him, and saying, 36 Master, which is the great commandment in the law?
Where is the temptation here? Are they hoping He'll say that all the commandments are equal? Are they hoping He'll uplift the law? Perhaps talk about keeping the sabbath? Remember what Paul said, the Law is a schoolmaster that leads us to Christ. This answer the Lord gives demonstrates a deeper understanding, it shows Jesus is at the Phd level, able to tie the ten commandments to the New Testament and bring us to God.
37 Jesus said unto him, Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind. 38 This is the first and great commandment. 39 And the second is like unto it, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself. 40 On these two commandments hang all the law and the prophets.
This demonstrates that Jesus has dug deep into the word and can summarize the entire law and prophets in these four verses and show how they usher in the New Testament. Rule #7 -- You have to study the word for yourself with just you and the Lord Jesus. You can't base your faith on regurgitating what others teach. Do not think that Jesus was quoting some rabbinical teaching. It may be that others had seen this or said this, but if you simply read all the writings of others you would never be so succinct. When studying a topic you need to use questions like this. The Pharisees beat people over the head with the law, they were hoping Jesus would give them ammunition. However, this was a valid question, not like the forked tongue question about giving taxes to Caesar or the childish hypothetical from the Atheists.
41 While the Pharisees were gathered together, Jesus asked them, 42 Saying, What think ye of Christ? whose son is he? They say unto him, The son of David. 43 He saith unto them, How then doth David in spirit call him Lord, saying, 44 The Lord said unto my Lord, Sit thou on my right hand, till I make thine enemies thy footstool? 45 If David then call him Lord, how is he his son?
Finally, you should prepare for spiritual warfare expecting that it is three times as much for defense and one time for offense. You have to have the mindset for every shot you get to take you must defend three attacks. Michael Jordan came into the league as a great scorer, but it wasn't until he was defensive player of the year that he was also named as league MVP. This allowed him to set an example for the rest of His team and lead them to Championships a few years later. Rule #8 -- Defense shocks the enemy and ultimately leads to opportunities for offense. Satan thinks he is so clever with forked tongue questions, hypothetical questions, and Phd questions. Being prepared for these shocks him, puts him on his heels, and opens the door for you to attack.

I know many are worried that if Israel could get caught by surprise that we could too.
First of all, if you are going to attack the US you want it to be massive takedown, you don't want another Pearl Harbor that galvanizes the whole country to fight, no, you want a crippling attack that eliminates us attacking. So let's make sure we are talking of the same thing. 9/11 and even Pearl Harbor did not accomplish that. You would have to organize a surprise attack on the scale of the Normandy invasion.
1. To do that you need to have people behind the lines. You would have to have hundreds of thousands of military men in the country able to cause chaos and confusion. So you don't even have to worry about something like this unless you see hundreds of thousands of military age men pouring into the US. It would be nice if we could end the concern here, but with the open border we do see 2 million got aways that we don't even know who it is, but in addition to that the 6 million we have seen come across are mostly men in their twenties. So then, assuming this is part of an organized invasion, let's consider the next thing.
2. The first attack needs to be "anonymous". You can't let the military know who the attack is from otherwise we could fire our nukes at them. If you take out ten electric power stations you can bring down the entire power grid of the US. That could be done with some C4 and probably twenty teams of 100 men each. You want some redundancy in the event that some teams are stopped. Also, these transformers can take two years to replace. Therefore you would want a country like China to have made them already so that when they roll in, six months later, they can quickly restore order. Granted it is safe to assume there are at least 200,000 military men, sleeper cells in the country already. The reason I say 100 men for each of these is because you would want to take down the local power and create several major diversions on the opposite side of town to clear out the police. Perhaps five groups of ten creating mayhem, blackouts, fires and diversions, while a team of fifty then attacks that power station. So, OK, they could do that. In coordination with that you would want a DOS attack on the 911 system, and attacks on the communication system in the country. They may have malware and other cyber attacks on the system. Also, imagine 200,000 signal jammers all being turned on at the same time.
3. Then you also have 12 suitcase nukes from Russia that are already in the country. If those simultaneously go off in twelve major cities it would create mass pandemonium. You want massive evacuations to shut down the highways. To make it worse you could easily have another 500 men whose job is to crash trucks and shutdown highways. Again, something they could easily do.
4. Then as soon as the lights go out and the nukes go off they could also set off the poseidon torpedos that create a 500 foot high radioactive Tsunamis that will hit the entire US coastline. These things hit the US within five minutes of detonation. That means everyone near the coast like the Pentagon and all our naval bases would have to instantly flee. The president and the entire Washington DC leadership would have to evacuate, again creating all kinds of chaos. Nationwide blackout, communications blackout, highways completely gridlocked, panic, pandemonium, and Tsunamis causing massive destruction where 65% of Americans live. At this point we have no idea who is attacking us and we are only five minutes into the war.
5. Then you have all the nuclear missiles fired at our air force bases and missile sites.
It is doable if and only if the US is not on full alert with our extensive intelligence community. The way to do that is to refocus the intelligence community on 75 million Americans as "Domestic terrorists" and focusing on making the military equitable.
But if anyone was actually planning this we would see Putin meeting with Xi and with Kim Jong Un, you would see Iran working with them, you would see Putin saying he wanted to work with Iran, you would see spy craft coming into the US and gathering intel on our missile sites and other military sites. Granted we have seen all that too.
I have said repeatedly that the single best way to prepare is to be right with the Lord and to be raptured. That is the only name in which is salvation. However, listening to the prophets and heeding the warning is an example of honoring the Lord and being obedient. Obviously the attack is going to come on the US, they have prepared for a massive takedown far greater than 9/11 or Pearl Harbor. If you live in a major city like NYC, Washington DC, Boston, Miami, LA, Seatle, Houston, etc. you need to be at least 5 miles from the coastline, preferably 50 miles, you need a full tank of gas, and to be fair you need someplace you can go to. The cities will become "Mad Max" land with gangs ruling the city until famine and disease has wiped them out. You also need a church because it will only be salvation to those who stand together to turn to the Lord if you are left behind.

Of course AI will take over. What does "take over" mean? If I replace you at your job then I am "taking over". We will see AI replacing tax preparers, lawyers, teachers, cashiers, people on an assembly line, etc. Already we have 100,000 people being taught by AI, that number will grow. We have Cashiers being replaced, janitors being replaced, Accountants, etc. If AI does 20% of the jobs then it has taken over 20% of the world's economy. I think it is absurd to think that AI and robots will take over less than 50% of the jobs. Look at how addicted people are to their phones. In ten years you will see universal addiction and dependence on AI.
We will see the beast system on full display when you have a million man army with every soldier having a chip in their brain connecting them to AI.

The idea that we would get credit for anything other than Christ is vain deceit and will make spoil of you.

There are those who do not care what the Bible says because of the tradition of men. Somehow they feel that if this is what we have always done then it is safe. For example, "no man knows the day or hour" is a mantra, it is safe, and it was said by the Lord Jesus. However, Jesus also said that "if you don't repent I'll come at an hour you don't expect", why isn't that a mantra? Jesus also said that "it will be as the days of Noah" and Noah had a seven day warning prior to the flood, entering into the ark after the death of Methuselah, a fulfillment of prophesy. Why isn't that the mantra, that we will be given a seven day warning? Jesus also said it would be as the days of Lot and he was given a one day warning. So why isn't that word of Jesus the mantra? Just because "no one knows the day or the hour" was true 2,000 years ago, there is no suggestion by Jesus that it will be true 2,000 years later.
9 for in him dwelleth all the fulness of the Godhead bodily,
This is a major mistake, people read these "good" books of philosophy and religious thought justifying it by saying that "it may not be the Bible but it has something of value". Yes, the experiences of men of God experiencing Christ in their lives is of value. But, all the fulness of the Godhead dwells in Christ bodily. So if the book is adding something in addition to what the Bible says, that should be rejected. If it is confirming and illustrating what the Bible said, that could certainly be beneficial.
10 and in him ye are made full, who is the head of all principality and power:
The Bible is the genuine "self help book". It helps you by crucifying your self and being one with Jesus in His death and resurrection. Remember the old saying "a good lawyer knows the law, a great lawyer knows the judge". This book brings you to the judge. There is no better way to persuade people than by prayer. Think about Joseph learning that Mary was already pregnant. Dale Carnegie couldn't have persuaded Joseph, but prayer and an angel appearing to him could.
11 in whom ye were also circumcised with a circumcision not made with hands, in the putting off of the body of the flesh, in the circumcision of Christ;
The whole point of many religions is to put off the body of the flesh and thus lead you to a higher spiritual man. That is why they fast, and meditate, and go off into the wilderness. But everything they are doing is "made with hands". We have a circumcision not made with hands. When they fast or go on their spirit quest it is temporary. But the circumcision we have cuts off the flesh permanently. The circumcision of Christ was once for all. The blood of that sacrifice opened the way to the Holy of Holies.
12 having been buried with him in baptism, wherein ye were also raised with him through faith in the working of God, who raised him from the dead.
If you want to go to higher spiritual plane then you must be resurrected from the dead. Christians can have this experience a hundred times over if they are one with the crucified and resurrected Christ.

Satan's plan
This is a misnomer, Satan's plan is simply a reaction to God's plan.
1. Introduce sin and death. Satan did this when he saw that God was going to let man eat the tree of life. He was reacting to God's plan. God made man as a vessel to contain God so Satan thought to jump into that vessel first. But this was foolish, it was part of God's plan, like putting bait on a hook when you go fishing. Now when Jesus was crucified Satan was crucified too.
2. Satan tries to corrupt the DNA. Satan realized that God was designing DNA for His Son so Satan tries to corrupt that DNA. Again this was foolish and was part of God's plan. Some of our DNA is the result of our lived experience of our ancestors. What Noah went through needed to be part of the world's DNA. So once again, Satan is just a stooge to accomplish God's plan.
3. Satan tries to wipe out Abraham's line. Once God chose Abram Satan focused his attack on this line. Moabites, Ammonites, Edomites, and a whole host of other tribes were all related to Abram. We see the flesh warring with the Spirit. But again, this was part of God's plan that the way of salvation would be by faith alone. Abraham was the father of faith, contrary to the multitude of idol worship which was weak and ineffective by comparison.
God is revealing that He is a redeemer. Satan did not know anything about redeeming or Christ as our redemption, this is why he fell for God's plan hook line and sinker. The Lord's power is manifested when He redeems us out of sin, out of the world's corruption, out of death, and out of the flesh. Being redeemed from Satan's grasp is a glory to God. That means that all of us can glorify God's name by sharing our testimony of being redeemed.

Let us walk by faith and not by sight

Why does God create the "goats"?
Matthew 25:31 When the Son of man shall come in his glory, and all the holy angels with him, then shall he sit upon the throne of his glory: 32 And before him shall be gathered all nations: and he shall separate them one from another, as a shepherd divideth his sheep from the goats: 33 And he shall set the sheep on his right hand, but the goats on the left.
If you don't have goats how would you know who the sheep were? We are being trained to rule and reign, if you don't have liars why would you need discernment? Think about Solomon's wisdom in discerning the real mother from the fake one as an example. If you didn't have giants why would you need faith? Think about David slaying Goliath. If you can't make a mistake then who needs to study? So we need thieves who will scam you and teach you to read the fine print.
